INTRODUCTION

Welcome to
Bragging Rights: WWF vs WCW 1991
! This is a two-player game featuring myself (jhd1) and angeldelayette. Some of you may be familiar with the diaries angeldelayette and I have written together before, namely our Cverse effort with
and our
project which shares its name with this diary.

Bragging Rights: WWF vs WCW 1991
is, in effect, a sequel to that previous Bragging Rights effort and will share many similar ideas. Like the WWE 2011 diary, this project will use a voting system where you can select which of the two promotions you preferred over the course of the month. The winner might not get a prize, but they will, of course, get bragging rights over the other until the next vote takes place!

However, while that diary saw angeldelayette and myself control one brand each of the same company, in this diary we will really be battling against each other as angeldelayette takes control of the WWF, leaving me in charge of WCW.

This diary will use the excellent 1991 Rising Storms 4.0 mod by justtxyank, and his nGo pictures.

From both angeldelayette and myself, thanks for reading and we hope you enjoy the ride!

Thanks for posting the predictions, angeldelayette! The idea behind having both sets of predictions in one post is that it should, in theory, allow things to move a bit more smoothly rather than having two separate sets of predictions every week. At least, that's the plan!

Should be interesting, good luck.

This will be one heck of a slobberknocker!

Like i said before, i'm locked to this. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Reading this will be entertaining... i'm willing to find out will be the first of you on pulling the greatest planned match.... We've so far managed to get the first couple of weeks of shows done in-game, and I've been enjoying what I've seen of the WWF so far. Hopefully my WCW shows will be able to match that, although I'm deliberately avoiding fighting fire with fire and while the WWF try and buy fans with big main events I'm staying old school with my booking <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Regarding Hogan vs Flair...it'll be interesting to see indeed. If I were you I'd put your money on angeldelayette getting there first - WCW starts at cult in this mod and having been turned down by Ricky Steamboat because of that, I don't think Hogan would join me (or Flair re-sign for that matter). Of course, there's always the possibility that the Dusty Rhodes/Ted Turner juggernaut might get to national by then though <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

While I've obviously seen the results in-game this is the first time that I've seen the show fully fleshed out and angeldelayette has done a great job as usual!
