<p>I'm intrigued to see Hogan pulled aside by Earthquake here. Will Hulkamania win the Rumble and defend the stars 'n bars against that turncoat?!?</p><p> </p><p>

Really loved the build on SoW for Jake and Martel. It's almost the perfect feud to build on that show, one that's hot but not so hot it would overshadow anyone on PTW.</p><p> </p><p>

Liked it a lot angel, can't wait to see what the WCW can fire back with!</p>

<p>First of all, a great two shows, jhd1! WCW is really going to be more competition for the WWF now that they have you at the helm.</p><p> </p><p> And, just to let everyone know, we have decided that we are not going to steal each other's workers for the first full month. That way we can get contracts settled. But then the war is on!</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Beejus" data-cite="Beejus" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="37895" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I'm intrigued to see Hogan pulled aside by Earthquake here. Will Hulkamania win the Rumble and defend the stars 'n bars against that turncoat?!?<p> </p><p> Really loved the build on SoW for Jake and Martel. It's almost the perfect feud to build on that show, one that's hot but not so hot it would overshadow anyone on PTW.</p><p> </p><p> Liked it a lot angel, can't wait to see what the WCW can fire back with!</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thank you for the comments, Beejus! The Hogan/Earthquake feud was slowly coming to an end at this time during real life so I wanted to represent that here in my part of the diary. The Snake/Model feud is a lot of fun and really is going to take an interesting twist here soon that many may not see coming. </p><p> </p><p> WCW has fired back with a great shot across the bow. Now it's time to take my next shot here soon. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<span style="font-family:'CENTURY GOTHIC';">jhd1 and I have decided to split the prediction contests into two, so there will be two eligible prizes at the end: one for WWF and one for WCW. The prediction contests will run from our first shows that we just posted until the end of March in the game. The prizes have yet to be determined for either side. A single win is given each time a person scores the most predictions right in a given show. For example, Smasher1311 and Beejus both scored a perfect 4/4 in the WWF contest so both received one win apiece. The most wins at the end of March is declared the winner in each category.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:'CENTURY GOTHIC';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'CENTURY GOTHIC';">

WWF PRIME TIME WRESTLING

Monday Week 2 January 1991

Location: Izod Center (Tri State)

Attendance: 20,049

Overall Rating: B+

TV Rating: 1.91

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/GorillaMonsoon.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/JimDuggan1.jpg

[it's time for the second live WWF Prime Time Wrestling featuring Gorilla Monsoon on commentary and this week's special guest commentator: Jim Duggan. Gorilla and Hacksaw welcome everyone to the show and talk about the matches that are scheduled for tonight, including Hulk Hogan taking on Earthquake! That will be a huge match as the unstoppable force meets the immovable object. But that's not the only match we have scheduled for tonight. Jim Duggan talks about the fact that The Texas Tornado earned an Intercontinental title shot against Mr. Perfect on Superstars last week. Tonight he gets that title shot. Before they can talk about any of the other matches scheduled tonight, the commentary is interrupted by music and a wave of boos from this audience.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/SgtSlaughter3.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/SheikAdnanAl-Kaissey2.jpg

[Sgt. Slaughter and General Adnan walk down toward the ring. Adnan is waving the Iraqi flag on a large pole. Slaughter and Adnan enter the ring and Slaughter salutes the flag, drawing more boos from the crowd. Slaughter takes a microphone and tells all the maggots in the crowd to sit down, shut up and listen as he talks about the greatest country in the world: IRAQ! The 'U.S.A.' chants are loud in the audience as Slaughter denounces America and says that in just a few weeks he will be bringing the WWF World Heavyweight Title belt to Saddam Hussein. Then he pulls a small USA flag from inside his shirt and frowns at it, saying that this flag represents all the pukes in the audience and especially the Ultimate Puke. He says that this is what he is going to do to the Ultimate Puke at the Royal Rumble. Slaughter pulls out a lighter from his pocket and Jim Duggan yells from ringside for Slaughter not to dare do this! As Slaughter prepares to burn the American flag, music hits and the attention turns to the aisle.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/UltimateWarrior.jpg

[The WWF World Heavyweight Champion The Ultimate Warrior comes running down the aisle, listening to the loud cheers from the crowd. Warrior climbs in the ring but is immediately attacked by Slaughter and Adnan. The two men use the flag pole to beat the Ultimate Warrior down in the ring before Slaughter hooks on the Camel Clutch! The crowd boos, raining both 'Warrior' and 'U.S.A.' chants into the ring in support of the face-painted Champion. Slaughter releases the hold and grabs the small USA flag, draping it over the body of the Warrior, waving the Iraqi flag in the air. Slaughter looks down at the fallen body of the Warrior and then drapes the Iraqi flag on top of the USA flag, telling Warrior to get used to it because that is what is going to happen at the Royal Rumble, puke.]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/Haku.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/BobbyHeenan1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/VS.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/BigBossman.jpg

Haku vs. Big Bossman

[Our first match of the evening features Big Bossman against the Islander member of the Heenan Family: Haku. Bossman, of course, will be facing Mr. Perfect at the Royal Rumble for the WWF Intercontinental Title. This match goes back and forth in the ring, with Haku ignoring any shots to the head and coming back with moves like headbutts on Bossman. Haku has control during the match, using power moves and even a nerve hold to keep the Bossman down. Haku heads to the top turnbuckle and leaps with a diving headbutt but Bossman moves out of the way and Haku strikes the mat. Bossman fights his way back into the match, bringing Haku down with a body slam and an elbow drop for a two count. Bossman prepares to hit Haku with the Bossman Slam but as he sends Haku to the ropes he is assaulted from behind by Mr. Perfect. The referee calls for the bell immediately.]

Winner: Big Bossman (Via Disqualification @ 9:09)

Match Rating: C+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/CurtHennig91.jpg

[The bell sounds but Mr. Perfect continues on the attack of The Big Bossman. Perfect stomps on the fallen body as Bobby Heenan directs the action. Heenan yells the instructions to Mr. Perfect and Perfect lifts Bossman up. He points toward his Heenan Family partner and Haku catches Bossman with a crescent kick. Perfect picks Bossman back up and yells that now it's time for a Perfect-Plex. He hooks Bossman and brings him over in a picture perfect Perfect-Plex. Heenan drops down and counts a three count. Perfect releases the hold and spits down on the Bossman, drawing a loud chorus of boos from the crowd. Bobby Heenan hands the Intercontinental title belt to Mr. Perfect and Perfect raises his title belt high in the air to boos from the crowd. But will Perfect still be champion after this evening when he defends the belt against The Texas Tornado?]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/GeneOkerlund1-1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/HulkHogan91.jpg

[We go to the backstage area where 'Mean' Gene Okerlund is standing by with Hulk Hogan! Okerlund brings up the match with Earthquake later on tonight and let me tell you something, brothers! Tonight, Hogan claims that he is going to put an end to the battle between him and Earthquake. No matter what happens tonight he is done with this battle and turning his focus to the Royal Rumble match! Hogan says that at the Royal Rumble, he is going to eliminate 29 other wrestlers with the power of Hulkamania. Then he is going to stand tall in the ring at WrestleMania no matter who the World Champion is and walk away with the title. He has that question for Earthquake and all the other wrestlers in the Royal Rumble: Whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when the power of Hulkamania and all the Hulkamaniacs runs wild over you?!?!]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/MikeSharpe.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/VS.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/UltimateWarrior.jpg

Non Title Match

Mike Sharpe vs. The Ultimate Warrior

[The Ultimate Warrior was beaten down earlier in the show and he came out with something to prove in this match against the veteran enhancement talent 'Iron' Mike Sharpe. Warrior was dominant in this match, proving why he is the WWF World Heavyweight Champion. But that doesn't mean that Sharpe did not have his hits during the match. For a few brief moments, Sharpe gains control, hitting the Warrior with a back elbow and then sets him up on the top turnbuckle, bringing the WWF Champion down with a belly-to-back superplex! The crowd is in shock as Sharpe gains a two count. Sharpe goes for the Piledriver but the Warrior brings him over in a back body drop. Warrior grabs the ropes and begins shaking them, powering up. He brings Sharpe down with multiple running clotheslines and begins shaking the ropes again, drawing cheers from the crowd. A little over six minutes into the match, Warrior picks up Sharpe and raises him high above his head. He presses Sharpe several times and then drops him to the mat. He bounces off the ropes -- Ultimate Splash! Warrior makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: The Ultimate Warrior (Via Pinfall @ 6:23)

Match Rating: C+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/SeanMooney.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/JohnTenta.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/JimmyHartN.jpg

[Sean Mooney is seen in the backstage area, a locker room area, with the man who is going to be in the main event this evening: Earthquake and his manager: Jimmy Hart. The focus of the interview is the match between Earthquake and Hulk Hogan. Jimmy Hart says that he does agree with one thing, the feud between Earthquake and Hogan ends tonight when the two of them go one-on-one. Tonight, Jimmy Hart says, Earthquake is going to end the power of Hulkamania with the power of the Earthquake. Then we are going to move on to the Royal Rumble. What man has the power to throw Earthquake over the top rope? There is no man in the WWF that can do it. So, according to Jimmy Hart, you are looking at the future WWF World Heavyweight Champion!]

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/TheUndertaker1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/PaulBearer.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/VS.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/BrianCostello.jpg

The Undertaker vs. Brian Costello

[The focus turns to the ring where Paul Bearer leads out The Undertaker to face the man who is already standing in the ring: Brian Costello. The match is a dominant performance by The Undertaker, utilizing a slow and methodical pace during the contest. The Undertaker shows an amazing amount of agility when he climbs the turnbuckles and then begins walking along the top rope. He stares down Costello and brings a forearm smashing down on him, sending Costello right down to the mat. The Undertaker grabs Costello by the throat and raises him up high in the air: Choke Slam! Costello is not moving on the mat! This power move might have put him literally out, unconscious. The Undertaker drags his thumb across his throat and then picks Costello up onto his shoulder -- Tombstone Piledriver! The Undertaker folds Costello's arms over his chest as the referee counts the three count.]

Winner: The Undertaker (Via Pinfall @ 6:06)

Match Rating: C-

[Paul Bearer enters the ring with the urn and The Undertaker turns his focus to his manager. Bearer smiles as he retrieves a body bag from inside his jacket, handing it over to The Undertaker. Gorilla Monsoon and Jim Duggan decry this at the announce table, saying that this isn't right. The Undertaker unfolds the body bag and lays it across the mat. He turns his attention to Costello and is about to place Costello into the body bag but he is interrupted by a voice from the video screen. All the attention from the fans and from The Undertaker and Paul Bearer turn up toward that screen.]

[The British Bulldog shows up on the video screen and tells his 'mate' to hold on. He tells The Undertaker that he should be picking on someone a little bigger than the men he has been facing here recently. The Bulldog tells The Undertaker that maybe he would like to try finding a body bag that is big enough to hold him. The Undertaker looks up toward the video screen and drags his thumb across his throat. The British Bulldog says that he takes that as an acceptance of the match at the Royal Rumble. Only the winner will move on to the Royal Rumble match itself!]

[We cut to a video where several people dressed in medieval clothing are shown walking into the entrance of a cave. Each of them have swords. Within moments, they are shown down on the ground, beaten and defeated. The camera pans up to reveal the man who did this. That man is 'The Dragon' Ricky Steamboat! Steamboat is shown dressed in a karate gi. He shows off several martial arts moves for the camera and then we flash to several wrestling matches from his previous stint in the WWF. Steamboat locking Savage into a small package to win at WrestleMania III is shown. Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat is coming soon to the WWF!]

The Million Dollar Man vs. Jake Roberts

[The excitement of the night continues as The Million Dollar Man comes down to the ring with Virgil standing in his corner. Jake 'The Snake' Roberts comes down with Damian in his corner. The Million Dollar Man offers Roberts several hundred dollar bills to lay down for him in the ring and be pinned. Roberts seems to be considering the money as a sign goes up in the crowd, reading: 'Give Damien a Dollar!' Roberts takes the money and then tosses it into the audience before he throws punches to DiBiase! The two men exchange punches in the center of the ring and they show off the excellent technical wrestling that the world knows about them. DiBiase sends Roberts outside the ring, laughing as a fan raises up a sign: 'Million Dollar Laughing Idiot!' Another fan raises a sign nearby that reads: 'Ted DiBiase paid me to make this sign!' Virgil gets in a few shots on Roberts before he tosses The Snake back in to DiBiase. DiBiase drops a fist and gets a two count. The match continues fairly even, Roberts reversing a short-arm clothesline attempt by DiBiase into a short-arm clothesline of his own. Roberts has the crowd behind him as he catches DiBiase with a gutbuster and then signals for the DDT. He picks up DiBiase -- DDT! A couple more signs go into the air as Roberts makes the cover: '

Mr. DiBiase should've hired a Hitman!' and 'Jake the Snake for p̶r̶e̶s̶i̶d̶e̶n̶t̶Earth Overlord!' The referee drops down and makes the three count, giving Roberts the victory.]

Winner: Jake Roberts (Via Pinfall @ 8:53)

[As Jake Roberts celebrates and walks over to the snake bag, Rick Martel comes running down to the ring from the back. Martel enters the ring just as Roberts reaches the bag. Roberts ducks a clothesline attempt by Martel and catches Martel with a kick to the gut on the rebound. Roberts grabs the snake bag and releases Damian! The snake begins slithering around the ring and Martel is quick to exit, quick to stay away from the snake. Virgil pulls The Million Dollar Man from the ring, leaving Jake Roberts and Damian standing and slithering in the center of the ring, victorious.]

[One more time we head backstage where Sean Mooney is waiting with one of the top tag teams in the WWF: The Rockers. Mooney begins by asking them about their upcoming match at the Royal Rumble against The Orient Express. Marty Jannetty says that he respects The Orient Express. He says that anyone managed by Mr. Fuji is going to know how to cheat and that is why they have to be very careful when facing them at the Royal Rumble. Shawn Michaels agrees with his partner's assessment but turns his focus to the Royal Rumble where there are no tag teams and it is every man for himself. He says that he loves teaming with Marty and that the two of them are future tag team champions but he is also a future World Champion and it begins this month at the Royal Rumble, Rocker Style!]

WWF Intercontinental Title Match

Mr. Perfect defends vs. The Texas Tornado

[The semi main event this evening is a solid contest between two of the top WWF wrestlers for the Intercontinental title. Mr. Perfect is seconded by Bobby Heenan but Tornado definitely seems to have the crowd in his corner. That positive energy from the crowd leads to a strong beginning for Tornado. Tornado nearly scores a victory around five minutes into the match where he manages to lock Perfect into the Iron Claw. Tornado forces Perfect down to the mat but Heenan places Perfect's foot on the ropes and draws the referee's attention to that fact, forcing a break of the hold. An argument between Tornado and Heenan leads to Perfect gaining an advantage for the next around ten minutes. He keeps Tornado down in the ring, hitting him with moves like a snap mare and a rolling neck snap. Perfect plays to the crowd, drawing in some boos as he takes down Tornado with a dropkick and then makes a cover, getting a two count. A sleeper is turned into a jawbreaker by Tornado and the crowd begins chanting his name as a sign goes up in the audience: 'Spin me right round, Kerry!' Tornado and Perfect get to their feet, exchanging punches with Tornado getting the advantage. He sends Perfect into a corner, climbing up and raining down ten punches. Tornado prepares to hit Perfect with a Tornado Punch but Perfect manages to duck the punch! Perfect hooks Tornado into a small package, grabbing the trunks of the challenger in the process: One, Two, Three! A sign goes up as Mr. Perfect slides out of the ring: 'The Texas Tornado is an excellent wrestler.. but not Perfect!']

Winner: Mr. Perfect (Via Pinfall @ 16:37)

Earthquake vs. Hulk Hogan

[it is main event time and what a match it is that we have. This is a match that has been building since May 1990 when Earthquake attacked Hogan on the Brother Love Show. The two men meet in the center of the ring and a shoving match begins with neither man backing down from the other. Hogan bounces off the ropes and catches Earthquake with a shoulder block that doesn't move the large man! Hogan uses a running clothesline to begin dazing Earthquake and then moves in for an early body slam! Hogan gets Earthquake up but then his legs give and Earthquake falls on top of Hogan for a two count! The match takes a slow, methodical pace throughout the contest with the two lumbering heavyweights. Earthquake has control throughout a majority of the match's first eight minutes. At one point in the match, he sends Hogan outside the ring and Jimmy Hart puts a few boots to the power of Hulkamania before sending Hogan back inside the ring to Earthquake. Earthquake catches Hogan with a side belly-to-belly suplex before yelling at an audience member that has a sign reading: 'Pig-Quake!' Earthquake makes a late cover: One, Two, Kickout! He definitely waited too long before covering Hogan.]

[Earthquake speaks to Jimmy Hart and then brings Hogan back outside the ring. This time, Earthquake joins him outside. He rams Hogan's ribs on the guardrail and then on the side of the ring. The crowd boos as Earthquake flexes, mocking Hogan. A sign goes up in the crowd, reading: 'Hogan is 'Quaking in his boots!' Earthquake brings Hogan back into the ring and catches him with a bear hug. A 'Hogan' chant breaks through the crowd as Earthquake tries to squeeze a submission out of the Hulkster. Earthquake squeezes harder and referee Earl Hebner asks Hogan if he wants to give it up but Hogan refuses to submit! Earthquake finally drops Hogan to the mat and then looks to the crowd for a moment. A sign goes up in the audience, reading: 'Earthquakes brewing up on Hulkamania!' Earthquake begins the four bounces that precede the Earthquake Splash. He bounces off one side and then off the other. Earthquake leaps but Hogan rolls out of the way of the Earthquake Splash! The crowd cheers as Earthquake lands on his bottom and Hogan begins shaking, pumping his arms up and down. Both men slowly make it to their feet and Earthquake throws a punch that Hogan no-sells. Hogan absorbs another punch! He points to Earthquake and waggles his finger. He blocks the next punch and begins throwing punches to Earthquake! He sends Earthquake to the ropes -- Big Boot! Earthquake is shaken but doesn't fall to the mat. Hogan makes a body slam motion and he walks over to Earthquake, picking him up and then body slamming him to the mat! The crowd goes wild as Hogan cups his ear and then bounces off the ropes -- Atomic Leg Drop! Hogan makes the cover as Jimmy Hart yells 'NO' at ringside: One, Two, Three!]

Winner: Hulk Hogan (Via Pinfall @ 13:13)

Match Rating: B+

[The match is over and Jimmy Hart enters the ring, raising the megaphone into the air. Hulk Hogan turns and points toward Jimmy Hart. He picks up Hart and tosses him over the top rope to the floor! Hogan turns to the crowd and begins flexing inside the ring. He shoves Earthquake out of the ring and celebrates on his own and with all the Hulkamaniacs in the audience. Hogan points toward the Royal Rumble sign and then makes a 'belt' motion. We have come to the end of Prime Time Wrestling! We will see you all next week right here on the USA network!]

[The World Wrestling Federation fans here in the RPI Field House go crazy as we welcome them to Superstars. The Hart Foundation walk out to cheers from the crowd, high fiving the fans in attendance. Bret Hart places a pair of his shades on a lucky fan and then enters the ring with his partner and brother 'The Anvil' Jim Neidhart. Bret says that he feels very lucky right now to be in a tag team with his brother and to be the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions! He says that it's the ability that he and his brother have that keep them as the champions. He also says he feels like more than a million bucks! These specific words draw some music and the appearance of two more men.]

[These men are The Million Dollar Man and Virgil! The crowd boos as the two men remain standing at the top of the ramp with The Million Dollar Man counting out some money that he has in his hands. He says that when he has this money in his hands he knows that he is worth more than a million bucks. And Virgil? Well? He knows exactly what this money is worth. So tonight he is going to prove that this money is worth more than gold. Tonight he is challenging the Hart Foundation to put those belts on the line against himself and Virgil. The Hitman is quick to tell him you're on! The Million Dollar Man reminds Bret that everyone has a price. He laughs and walks to the back with Virgil.]

Bob Bradley and Brooklyn Brawler vs. The Legion Of Doom

[in an extremely short match, The Legion of Doom defeated Bob Bradley and Brooklyn Brawler in 3:59 when Hawk defeated Bob Bradley by pinfall with a Doomsday Device.]

[Following the big victory by the Legion of Doom, we are taken to a pre-recorded video that shows Jim Duggan standing in front of an American flag background. Duggan talks about how good America has been to him. He talks about the baseball, the apple pie. He says that America is the greatest land in the world. But then he sees guys like Sgt. Slaughter disgracing America. A man who has turned his back on this country but is fine taking American money for his work. Duggan says that he wants to show Slaughter just what America is about, tough guy! So he challenges Sgt. Slaughter to meet him in a match this Monday on Prime Time Wrestling! Slaughter is going to take a good American beating! HOOOOOOOOO!]

Rick Martel vs. Sam Houston

[in a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Rick Martel defeated Sam Houston in 6:18 by submission with a Quebec Crab.]

Winner: Rick Martel (Via Submission @ 6:18)

Match Rating: C-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/JakeRoberts1.jpg

[As the bell sounds, Rick Martel refuses to release the Quebec Crab on Sam Houston. The crowd viciously boos this and Martel cinches the hold on tighter. As Martel is seemingly going to send the young Sam Houston to the hospital, someone responds to Houston's aid. That man is Jake Roberts! Roberts comes out to the ring and unleashes Damian once again! Martel sees the large snake in the ring and his eyes go wide. He backs off, releasing the hold and exiting the ring. He tries spraying Arrogance toward the ring and then some on himself. Inside the ring, Roberts bends down to Houston, checking on him and showing some actual concern for the fellow wrestler. This is definitely not something that Roberts would normally do. But Damian slithers over and, instead of shrinking in terror, Houston seems to welcome the snake, brushing over Damian's body as Damian nears him. The announcers are definitely confused by this and Roberts helps Houston to his feet and the three of them head to the back.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/RickySteamboat92.jpg

[A hype video is shown for the arrival of the latest wrestler to the World Wrestling Federation: Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat! The Dragon is returning to the WWF and he is shown wrestling various wrestlers from his previous stay here in the company. The end of the video has an announcement that lets everyone know that Ricky will be making his return at the end of the month and the Royal Rumble! He will be one of 30 participants in the Royal Rumble match. Could he win and move forward to WrestleMania and a WWF World Heavyweight Title match? The Dragon thinks so!]

[We are taken to a clip that was taped earlier today. We know that because those words are shown at the bottom right corner of the screen. We open inside the office of WWF President Jack Tunney. Tunney is seated behind his desk and the door opens inside the office to reveal Randy Savage and Sensational Queen Sherri! The crowd boos in the background and Savage says that he knows that the WWF is going to Madison Square Garden this Monday night for Prime Time Wrestling. Savage says that the Garden is where champions are made, Dig it. So he wants a match with The Ultimate Warrior this Monday night! Tunney says he will take it under advisement. Savage begins threatening bodily harm to Tunney if the match does not take place. Sherri steps in and says that she can make it worth Tunney's while if he makes the match. The Hart Foundation defends vs. The Million Dollar Man and Virgil

[in a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, The Hart Foundation defeated The Million Dollar Man and Virgil in 8:50 when Bret Hart defeated Virgil by pinfall with a Hart Attack.]

[The Hart Foundation pick up a huge win and a defense of their WWF World Tag Team titles! The crowd is definitely behind them as they celebrate by climbing opposite corners, raising the belts high in the air. As they celebrate, Jimmy Hart leads The Nasty Boys down to the ring. Brian Knobbs has the megaphone and Jerry Sags has a motorcycle helmet. They each strike Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart respectively, sending both champions down to the mat below. Knobbs hands the megaphone back to Jimmy Hart and begins putting the boots to Bret. He picks him up and brings him down with a running powerslam as Sags climbs the turnbuckles. Sags leaps off with a flying elbowdrop. The crowd boos as Knobbs and Sags raise the WWF World Tag Team Title belts! We're out of time here on Superstars, though! We'll see you Monday night at Madison Square Garden!]

Taker vs Bulldog could be an awesome match at the Rumble! It'll be interesting to see how that goes in-game (though I have the advantage of seeing it before everyone else!) as it doesn't seem like the type of match that TEW would grade particularly highly.

I like the way you are writing the feud for Warrior and Slaughter too. So far Slaughter's cheating has seen him get the edge of Warrior, but I could easily see Warrior triumphing at the Rumble against the odds.

I still have no idea who is likely to win the Rumble match itself either. While Hogan would be the obvious choice given the time period, there are enough challengers that could possibly take it that I'm not sure he'll get it - particularly as you could always have a Slaughter vs Hogan type match be a non-title main event (assuming Slaughter doesn't win at the Rumble, of course) in a similar vein to Wrestlemania VIII's Hogan vs Sid main event.

It'll be no Clash Of The Champions XIV: Dixie Dynamite though :p
