Since it’s inception in 1972 the Supreme Wrestling Federation has been the most influential and most dominant wrestling promotion in the world.

 

Now after 42 years since it’s birth, Richard Eisen introduces an brand new Promotion known simply as Uprising! The promotion will serve one purpose to further the development of the stars of RIPW who aren’t quite ready to join the ranks of Supreme. Joining up on Uprising will be the likes of Spencer Spade, Lenny Brown, Lassana Makutsi, SWF long time tag team Bart & Brett Briggs will drop down and serve as trainers to the younger guys, whist former SWF World Champion Barry Bowen AKA Runaway Train will be the brand Uprising Commissioner.

 

Along with this all new Promotion comes a brand new TV show which debuts in march 2014.

Sunday Week 1 2014 marks the birth of the Uprising as the young guns of SWF march into The Cambridge Elysium for the very first episode of Uprising TV.

 

Has we look to crown an inaugural Uprising Champion two of the quarter finals take place when the maniacal John Greed faces of with a man just as crazy when he goes one on one with Spectre.

SC: Ladies And Gentlemen welcome to UPRISING!
[Loud cheers from the crowd in the background]
I’m Samuel Curran here with Ernie Turner.

 

ET: It’s Great to be here Sam.

 

SC: Tonight Ernie we make history with the very first episode of Uprising, The Supreme Wrestling Federations newest concept for Pro Wrestling. If your joining us tonight and you don’t know what Uprising is or is about then tonight you’re in for a treat.

 

ET: They certainly are. Uprising general manager Barry Bowen is on his way out, tonight he’ll be naming the first four competitors in the Uprising Championship Tournament, with those two matches taking place tonight. As well as a huge triple threat tag team match as Animal Instinct battle with the Broad Street Bullies and Going Coastal.

BB: It’s with great pleasure that I, The general manager of Uprising, Barry Bowen announce that six weeks time at our very first Pay-Per-View Event, BreakOUT. We will crown the very first Uprising Champion.

 

Tonight we will see the first four participants and see who will advance to the semi finals.

BB: Just before the start of the show tonight these four men randomly picked a number between 1-4 out of a hat, So gentlemen with that decide who will face who. If you’d just direct your eyes towards the SupremeScreen and we’ll get things started.

 

[Everybody in the building faces towards the screen]

 

BB: First up is…Number 3. Number 3 please step forward.

 

[spectre steps forward]

 

BB: now to see who Spectre will face…

 

Number 1, number 1 it is, once again number 1 please step forward.

 

[John Greed steps forward and grabs a mic]

 

JG: Spectre be prepared, tonight I will save you, tonight will be the start of the rest of your life. After tonight you will thank me, praise me, worship me.

 

[spectre just laughs maniacally]

 

JG: You may laugh now but not for long…

 

[Greed is interrupted by Bowen]

 

BB: Whoo whoo, hold up you two will face off in tonight’s main event but for now, Seamus O’Farraday and Sammy Cipriani will kick things off.

 

SC: What announcement by Barry Bowen, ladies and gentlemen in six weeks time will be holding BreakOUT. Where we will crown our very first Uprising Champion.

 

ET: It’s huge and tonight four men get the chance to advance to the semi finals. John Greed has already claimed he will save Spectre tonight.

 

SC: Save him? He maybe past saving from what I’ve heard about this guy. Nobody enjoys pain like him.

 

ET: I’m looking forward to seeing him later on tonight but for now Seamus O’Farraday and Sammy Cipriani are ready to fight.

SC: Cipriani has one hell of a task on is tonight he plans on advancing past Seamus here Ernie.

 

ET: Without a shadow of a doubt he Sammy, I personally will be looking no further then the man known as “The Colossus of Cobb County”.

 

SC: Yeah but Cipriani is a man with his own equalizer stood on the sidelines in Bruno Battaglia, Battaglia is a man known for his extreme violence within the Cipriani Crime Family in New York City.

 

ET: You’re telling me we have got a major crime syndicate here in the SWF!

 

SC: That we do Ernie! And the actions about to get under way as Cipriani goes straight at O’Farraday with a series of rights and lefts, but the big man looks unfazed by them and hits back with a huge clothesline and takes Cipriani down in one swoop.

 

ET: Cipriani looks shocked, Sammy. I don’t think he expected that.

 

SC: How could not expect something like that the weights over 300 pounds, he’s not nicknamed Colossus for no reason.

 

ET: Seamus now starting to really dominate over the much smaller Sammy Cipriani.

 

SC: He’s throwing him round like rag doll Ernie. Oh boy does Bruno look pissed stood on the sidelines as he watches his boss son getting manhandled.

 

ET: I don’t think I’ll be too long before we see the big man get involved in the match.

 

ET: And there we go Samuel, the enforcer is on the apron trying to distract the ref.

 

SC: It’s no use he gets caught we a big boot for his troubles, Seamus looking to end this now as he sizes up Cipriani for a Colossus Spinebuster.

 

ET: And he hits it this one is over.

 

ET & SC: 1...2...3

 

SC: Seamus O’Farraday advances to the semi finals.

ET: Impressive showing from O’Farraday. If I was a gambling man, which I am Samuel my money would be one O’Farraday to be crown the Uprising Champion is six weeks time.

 

SC: Although it s the first match in the tournament Ernie it would be hard to disagree with you. Sammy Cipriani doesn’t look too happy at his loss tonight, shouting abuse at Battaglia

 

ET: Bruno Battaglia isn’t exactly a man you’d be looking to abuse. He’s mountain of man and a well respected enforcer…

 

SC: Sorry to cut you short Ernie but I’m hearing Spencer Spade is backstage talking to General Manager Barry Bowen.

BB: Unfortunately Spencer all the participants have been chosen.

 

SS: Chosen! Chosen! I’M THE CHOSEN ONE! Either you find a way for me to be in it or I’ll find me own way.

 

BB: Chosen one don’t make me laugh Spencer, you haven’t proven yourself yet. Now if you don’t mind I’m extremely busy trying to run a tournament
[A Smirk comes across Bowen’s Face]

 

[spade raises a Fist to Bowen’s Face][/i}

 

BB: What ya gonna do kid? Ruin your chances on Uprisng?

 

SS: One Week Bowen, One Week to find a solution to my problem. Before I BECOME your Problem Barry.

 

[spencer Spade storms out]

 

BB: Damn Kids!

 

 

SC: Who does Spencer Spade think he is? He doesn’t deserve a shot at the championship.

 

ET: The Kid is good though.

 

SC: I don’t doubt he as talent but he’s too damn cocky for his own good. Barry Bowen should bring him down to earth with a bump.

 

ET: He probably could still teach him a lesson but The Runaway Train shouldn’t be stepping anyway near a ring to wrestle in.

 

SC: What are you trying to say Ernie?

 

ET: That Barry Bowen shouldn’t be wrestling anymore that’s all. But whilst we talk about who should and shouldn’t be wrestling the gorgeous Haley is backstage with up and comer Lassana Makutsi. Over to you Haley.

H: Thank you guys, I’m here with “ The African Assassin” Lassana Makutsi. Lassana Tell the fans at home what it’s like to be here on Uprising.

 

LM: Its’s an Honour Haley, Mr Bowen asked me personally to join up and when a former SWF World Champion asks, you answer.

 

H: Your name is doing the runs backstage about you being in the Uprising Championship Tournament.

 

LM: I can tell you now I will be in the tournament in one of the two quarter finals next week.

 

H: Fantastic news! Tell me what do you think your chances at winning the all thing?

 

LM: I think I’ve got a great shot, that’s taking anything away from the other participants.

 

H: what are your thoughts on the other men also varying for a shot at winning it.

 

LM: Well has we saw earlier on Seamus O’Farraday was unbelievably dominate over Sammy Cipriani and the two in tonight’s Main Event are so unpredictable….

 

[The A List come out of no where to lay a vicious beat down on Makutsi]

 

H: WHAT THE HELL GUYS!!

 

BL: Unpredictable? How was that for unpredictable Lassana.

 

LB: YEAH BOY!! The A List in the Hizzle.

 

BL: Let me tell you something Haley, Next week Beau LaBouef will be advancing to the semi finals of the Uprising Championship Tournament. The A List have it all Babe. The looks and talent, we’re the complete package.

Broad Street Bullies vs. Animal Instinct vs. Going Coastal

Time Limit: N/A

Referee: Royce Greig

 

ET: Leroy of The Bullies will start things of with Viper of Animal Instinct.

 

SC: Three very different styles of tag team here, Animal Instinct are very much influenced by the Japanese puroresu, Going Coastal with there American cruiserweight style and The Broad Street Bullies are two ghetto brawlers straight from the streets of Philadelphia.

 

ET: And for the reason alone I think Antix and Leory will win this match, their hardcore style may just be too much for the other two teams.

 

SC: I don’t know Ernie, Going Coastal have been tagging for few years together on the independents whilst Animal Instinct are two very accomplished wrestlers in their own right.

 

SC: Viper with a series of reversals and Leroy looks frustrated by the masked man’s ability to get out of any offense.

 

ET: Viper hits Leroy with plethora of quick kicks which take the big man down to his knees and running dropkick…Viper tags in his partner Cougar.

 

SC: Cougar tries to pounce on Leroy has he falls into the corner where the Going Coastal are stood. And Kelly Irons tags himself in.

 

ET: Irons is somebody who I personally go far in this business, he’s a man with a great look, and can talk the talk.

 

SC: It’s certainly great to see these three teams show the world what SWF Tag Team Wrestling is all about.

 

ET: COUGAR POUNCE! COUGAR POUNCE! Out of no where and this is over.

CJ: I’m Cameron Jones and with me at this time is “The Colossus of Cobb County” Seamus O’Farrday…Seamus earlier tonight you advanced past Sammy Cipriani and into the semi finals.

 

SO: Let me tell you something Fella, Sammy Cipriani was nothing but the first stepping stone on my way to the Uprising Championship, No ONE I repeat No ONE will stop me.

 

CJ: Strong words, so your confident you’ll win the entire tournament?

 

SO: Not only am I confident I’ll win, I know I’ll win I’m the most dominant wrestler on the all roster.

 

CJ: Who would you like to face in the next round.

 

SO: Fella I’m not bothered it can be any one I know I’ll steam roll through them.

 

CJ: That’s I’ve got time for, strong words from a strong man. Thank you Seamus.

 

SO: No problem fella.

 

ET: I’d have to back those claims from O’Farraday after tonight show of power.

 

SC: He certainly proved he could go all the way, but he’s still potentially has two more men to get past and one could be from tonight’s main event, coming up next John Greed goes to battle with Spectre.

SC: And here we go Ernie, John Greed earlier tonight told Spectre he would save him from himself.

 

ET: How exactly do you save somebody who doesn’t want to be saved?

 

SC: I’ll guess we’ll find out right now if he can.

 

ET: Both men lock up in a test of strength, Greed comes out on top after a sly kick to the stomach area, Greed really laying into Spectre now with a series of stomps and kicks whilst he lays on the ground.

 

SC: Spectre now fighting back, from what I’ve heard about this man Spectre, he isn’t afraid to put his body on the line during a fight.

 

ET: looking on so far I can definitely see that, the man has no self regard for himself or his opponent….Oh my god Spectre just took flight and hits a cross body
[Huge pop from the crowd]
from the top turnbuckle to the outside.

 

SC: I told you he was crazy , I just didn’t know how CRAZY! John Greed looks lifeless laid out on the concrete at ringside.

 

ET: Spectre needs to take advantage now and get him back in the ring.

 

[John Greed is rolled back in the ring.]

 

SC: OH low blow by Greed and into that Jumping foot Stomp he calls The Saving Grace.

 

ET: 1...2..3 It’s over John Greed advances to the Semi Finals

Reports coming out of New England today, the Supreme Wrestling Federation is looking to add several new international wrestlers to roster. A couple of names doing the rounds include Hidetoshi Ishibashi who wrestles as the masked Emerald Angel for World Level Wrestling out in Japan. Englishman Martyn Staddon also known as Beast Bantom. Two Australians from Revolution Australian Wrestling, Swoop McCarthy and Jeff Waters who wrestles under the moniker of Captain Wrestling II.

 

Richard Eisen too think of the names mentioned above and has sent out scouts to file reports on all four. It’s unknown at this time if they potentially sign if they’ll join up with the main roster, the up and comers of Uprising or down in development with Rhode Island Pro Wrestling.

One week has past already and we’re back for another episode of Uprising. Last week we saw Seamus O’Farraday and John Greed advanced to the Semi Finals of the Uprising Championship Tournament, this week it’s the turn of Beau LaBeouf, Lassana Makutsi, Akima and yet as unnamed entrant.

 

Makutsi will be looking for some revenge on LaBouef after he and Lenny Brown lay a vicious beat down on Makutsi. Akima will be looking a making an immediate impact on his return to the Supreme Wrestling Federation after 3 years away.

 

Also tonight adrenaline junkie Mikey James and he unorthodox style of wrestling goes to war with the ultra disciplined martial artist expert, Perez. This will certainly be a battle when both men face off with each other.
