The card for uPw Great Plains Bash I has been revealed...

- The two members of The Blues Brothers will try to get on track in separate matches as they face Lug Phelan and El Sultan respectively. Will the duo that lost to Rune manage to turn things around?

- Disturbed will face Fearless Blue one on one. The loser's face will never be the same. If Fearless Blue wins, Disturbed will have to unmask. But if Disturbed wins, Fearless Blue will have to dawn a mask. Who's face will be changing after the dust settles in this one?

- Thomas Morgan will face off against 'Rough Rider' Clark Lewis. The winner will surely position themselves high in the ranking for the uPw Championship. Who will that man be.

-Lastly, but certainly not least, the uPw Championship will be on the line when the champion, J.R. Rose, will face the darkness that has begun to descend on Underground Pro Wrestling. Rune with Celeste by his side will try to capture the uPw Championship and become the second champion. If that happens what will happen to uPw? Will the darkness fully take the promotion over? uPw Great Plains Bash I

Attendance: 14

We go ringside at the Barn and join the duo of Samuel Curran and Phonse Lockett at the commentary table.

Curran- Welcome to uPw Great Plains Bash I. I'm Samuel Curran and beside me as always is Phonse Lockett.

Lockett- Thank you Sam, it's a big show here tonight for uPw.

Curran- It sure is, Phonse. This is the event of uPw that we consider to be 'The' Event of uPw. Tonight a big main event will take place as our champion, J.R. Rose will face off against the masked monster, Rune. Will tonight be the night that this darkness that Celeste talks about fully embraces uPw?

Lockett- Well, it will be a dark day if the uPw Championship goes to those two.

Curran- No question Phonse, no question at all. Also tonight in a battle of faces, Fearless Blue will faced Disturbed. One could lose a mask or one could gain a mask, it just depends on who walks away the winner of the match.

Lockett- It's going to be interesting either way, Sam. Frankly though, I really don't want to see Disturbed take that mask off. I've seen pictures, and I can't unsee them.

Curran- But first tonight we go to the ring with one half of the Blues Brothers, Elwood taking on the Irish Brawler, Lug Phelan.

The opener of Great Plains Bash I isn't too bad but it's not really good either. Elwood tries to hang in the match as long as he can but Lug's animal like fury is just too much for Elwood. The match ends after a stiff Gutwrench Backbreaker that nearly breaks Elwood in half.

Match Result: Lug Phelan defeated Elwood Blues in 5:16 by pinfall with a Gutwrench Backbreaker

Match Rating: E-

Following the match the odd Disturbed...

... emerges from the back with a microphone in his hand. He climbs into the ring ready to share his thoughts on his upcoming match with Fearless Blue.

Disturbed- Tonight Fearless Blue I will grant you the gift of a new face when I beat you here tonight. I know you are scared Blue, but trust me this will be for the best. Your whole life will change and for the better. After I beat you and you put on that new face things will change. Once you embrace your new face you will be on your way to bigger and better things. Tonight Fearless Blue, take one last look at yourself because at the end of the night a new you will be born.

Segment Rating: E-

Curran- Disturbed is confident, there is no doubt about that. Up next we will see if the other half of the Blues Brothers is able to fear better that the other as Jake Blues will take on El Sultan. Let's go back to the ring.

This match is worse than the opener of the show. Jake Blues does seem to fair a lot better than Elwood, as Jake looks on the verge of victory on a couple of occasions but comes up short each time. El Sultan proves to be the better man in the end as he locks on the Camel Clutch and Cab looks on in disappointment as the Blues Brothers are swept here tonight after Jake gives up.

Match Result: El Sultán defeated 'Joliet' Jake Blues in 12:14 by submission with a Camel Clutch

Match Rating: F+

After the match is over, J.R. Rose emerges from the back with a microphone in hand...

He heads to the ring with the uPw Championship belt around his waist. He rolls into the ring to decent reception from the 14 in attendance.

Rose- Once again, thank you all for being here tonight. Now tonight is a big night for me. I step into the ring one on one with Rune. He's gotten the better of me so far, but tonight we are on equal footing. Not this lights out and attack after I've had a match. No tonight it's me and the monster one on one. With the uPw Championship's fate on the line. Maybe Underground Pro Wrestling's fate on the line if you believe the rhetoric of Celeste. Either way tonight is going to be a fight and I will not back down. No matter how big and 'scary' the man across the ring is from me. Tonight I will carry uPw on my back and walk away the Champion and try to be the bright light against this darkness Celeste and her monster, Rune brings.

Segment Rating: D-

Curran- Rose is ready to defend the uPw and the championship here tonight. I wish him the best of luck. I shudder at the thought of Celeste's monster Rune walking away with the gold here tonight. Up next, someone is going to be getting a new face.

Fearless Blue vs. Disturbed

This match isn't very good either, but both men go back and forth giving it their all. Neither man wants to lose as neither wants the stipulation against them to happen. The match is fairly intense for two men who usually do a lot of flying around the ring. There is some flying as the two men can't completely stray away from who they are as wrestlers. The match ends when Disturbed pulls what look to be brass knucks and hits Fearless Blue with them behind the refs back. Disturbed makes the pinfall and gets the win and Fearless Blue will now have to dawn a mask.

Match Result: Disturbed defeated Fearless Blue in 16:16 by pinfall after using a foreign object

Match Rating: F+

Curran- A cheap win but Fearless Blue will now have to wear a mask here in uPw. Disturbed says he already has one picked out and we will see Blue debut it next month.

Lockett- Question is, will it change Blue's fortunes like Disturbed claims?

Curran- Good question, only time will tell. We now have a taped video of Celeste and here nightmare, Rune.

We go to a darkly lit picture where we see mostly just silhouettes of Celeste and the masked nightmare, Rune.

Celeste- Great Plains Bash is where one of the biggest pieces of our plan will happen. That is when this monster, Rune will walk away with the most prized possession around here, the uPw Championship. When that happens we will snuff out the tiny bit of light that remains here in Underground Pro Wrestling. Darkness will fully embrace uPw. Then I and Rune will rule over uPw and no one will stop us. No one will stand up to us. uPw will bend to our will after Rune walks away with their top prize. I can't wait.

Segment Rating: D+

Curran- I sure hope those words they spoke do not come true here tonight. Up next, Thomas Morgan faces off against 'Rough Rider' Clark Lewis.

This is a real good match between two real good wrestlers. Unfortunately the uPw fans haven't really warmed up to the two competitors and don't really get into the match until near the end of the seventeen minute plus match. The match is a continuous back and forth match with both men countering each other's moves including various submission moves. Near pinfalls are traded as well. The winner is finally decided when Morgan locks in the STF on Lewis and Lewis has had enough.

Match Result: Thomas Morgan defeated 'Rough Rider' Clark Lewis in 17:37 by submission with a STF

Match Rating: E-

Curran- What a match between two fine wrestlers!

Lockett- Indeed, more please.

Curran- I'm almost sure that may not be the last we see of between those two men, seems to be a lot of respect between the two. Plus Clark Lewis is a proud man and will want another chance to beat Thomas Morgan. Now, up next is the match we've been waiting for. J.R. Rose will put the uPw Championship on the line against Rune.

The crowd is into this match, and the action in the ring helps that fact. It might not be as good in ring as the previous match but it does not disappoint. Rune looks like the monster he is throughout, but Rose manages to use his quickness and head to make sure Rune doesn't catch him with any huge move. Rune lands a couple of huge blows though but Rose always seems to manage to kick out of the pinfall attempts. Rose manages to get the monster off his feet and score a couple of near falls as well but Rune won't stay down. Neither man seems to want to stay down or even back down from the other. The match goes back and forth until Rune finally catches Rose and hits him with the Damnation Drop. Rune make the pin and collects the win and the uPw Championship.

Match Result: Rune defeated J.R. Rose in 14:13 by pinfall with a Damnation Drop. Rune wins the uPw Championship title

Match Rating: D-

Curran- This is easily the darkest day in the young life of Underground Pro Wrestling. Will the darkness engulf uPw? I hope not, but join us next month for uPw Summer Brawl.

What a little paradox this promotion is. There doesn't seem to be much to justify the Underground in its name but that's a positive in my mind. I doubt I'd be enjoying this little hole in the wall as much if it did live up to the name. I'm especially looking forward to seeing Fearless Blue's "new face". That whole concept of how Disturbed views his mask has been terrific and Blue's definitely needed one since his original render was replaced with the current monstrosity. Can't wait for Summer Brawl.

Thanks Cappy. I too dig what I've done with Disturbed and Fearless Blue. Unfortunately they have the dreaded 'Awful' Chemistry with their matches but I've stuck it out anyway wanting to tell their story.

We've learned the final card for uPw Summer Brawl.

-Hot on the heels of uPw Great Plains Bash, the new uPw Champion Rune, will not be in action, but it's a certainty that Celeste and Rune will both be present.

-Former uPw Champion, J.R. Rose will be in action against Thomas Morgan in the Main Event as uPw stars jockey for position in the rankings for the uPw Championship. J.R. Rose is current number 1 contender and will receive a future rematch no matter the outcome of the match, but other wrestlers will be looking to leap frog Rose to get their own shot. No matter how scary the new uPw Champ seems to be.

-'Rough Rider' Clark Lewis will take on El Sultan as these two men also try to move their way up the rankings.

-We will see the debut of Fearless Blue's new 'Face' as Disturbed would put it. Blue will take on Jazz Funk. Will Blue's new 'face' lead to better things like Disturbed has said? Or will Jazz Funk cash in?

-Both members of the Blues Brothers will also be in action in singles matches and hope to get back on the winning track as they have struggled to do so, so far in uPw. Join Underground Pro Wrestling for all of this and more as they present...

Considering Elwood is usually part of the worst match of the night, but tonight he puts on a solid performance. Perhaps it's more of a testament to how much Disturbed has improved over the years. The match is more of an extended squash much to the chagrin of Cab. Elwood gets a little bit of offense in but it isn't close to enough. Disturbed hits the Flying Double Stomp to the downed Elwood to pick up the win. It probably goes too long for the two young wrestlers but they give it their all. They go back and forth with Streetz trying to help out Jazz Funk to get a victory to line their pockets with more cash. Funk nearly goes over a couple of different time and near the end it looks like Jazz Funk would be the winner and spoil Fearless Blue's new life. Out of nowhere Blue springs off the middle rope and hits a huge lariat that puts Funk down and out. Fearless Blue makes the pin and get the win. Match Result: Fearless Blue defeated Jazz Funk in 12:28 by pinfall with a Springboard Lariat Match Rating: F+</div></blockquote> Following the match Disturbed enters the ring clapping and shouting congratulations to Blue. He slaps Blue on the back and the two men start celebrating Blue's victory together. Disturbed starts motioning to Blue's new "Face" and clapping. Curran- It seems Fearless Blue's fortunes are turning around. Disturbed and Blue celebrate the win. Segment Rating: F Lockett- Hold on. In the ring, Disturbed is still celebrating the win but Fearless Blue has stopped behind him. Blue hits a vicious clothesline to take Disturbed down to the mat. Blue than heads to the top rope. He leaps off and hits Disturbed with the Flying Double Stomp. Segment Rating: F Curran- Fearless Blue hits Disturbed with his own move. It looks like Fearless Blue is done with Disturbed and ready to move on with his new "Face". Lockett- If Fearless Blue goes on to success from this night forth, he will eventually have to thank Disturbed. Curran- I'm not sure Blue sees it that way. Rune lifts Rose to his feet only to put him back down with the Runestone Piledriver. Rune stomps on the fallen body of Rose while Celeste laughs. Underground Pro Wrestling has released the card for uPw Here Comes The Underground...

-After being beaten down at the end of uPw Summer Brawl last month, J.R. Rose has decided to take his rematch against Rune for the uPw Championship. Will Rose take back the uPw Championship and push back the darkness that Celeste says she is bringing to uPw? Or will Rune again beat Rose?

-Thomas Morgan will face off against Lug Phelan. Both men are coming off wins last month and are looking to throw their names at the top of the rankings to get a chance to win the uPw Championship. Who will prevail and take a step closer to realizing their goal?

-Fearless Blue will be in action after his successful debut of his new 'Face'. He will face another masked wrestler in El Sultan. Will Fearless Blue continue on an upward path? Or will El Sultan spoil Blue's new wrestling life?

Thomas Morgan had just picked up a win over the former upw champion, and I don't see his momentum stalling this early.

Rune's rampage is far from over.He has dominated Rose at every turn and I don't see that changing. Rune has 6 month reign ended by Morgan, yep I'm calling it again
