ROH 2014: The Rise of Honor

Recommended Posts

http://i1289.photobucket.com/albums/b515/ThePiOverlord111/ROH%20Diary/ROH_zpsbecc3589.jpg

The year is 2014, month of July. The United States wrestling business has hit one of it's biggest lows. With WWE entering a string of financial losses and with TNA not being able to produce TV ratings, the wrestling business is completely open for another company to rise and right all of the other promotions wrongs. This is where Ring of Honor comes in. With a roster full of some of the greatest independent talents, ROH has the possibility to strike if they play their cards correctly. Will they succeed, or will they rise and fall like other American promotions.

Welcome, to Ring of Honor.

Side Notes:

Alright, now that the opening has been posted, I would like to give a little side-information in regards to this diary.

First off, the WWE/TNA MP Dynasty is NOT dead. We are just at a bit of a standstill in regards of certain issues in which I will not go into detail :D

I started this diary as I wanted to do something different. I wanted to provide a different type of diary using one of my favorite companies. With this game, my long-term goal is the be a large actual opponent of the WWE. Short-term however, is to bring in new talent and attempt to gain more popularity world-wide. The format of this diary will be written out similar to Captain2's TNA diary. His format is very basic, but it will comply with my time-constraints and will allow me to get shows out quicker.

So sit back, grab a cup of coffee/tea/water/whatever the heck you like drinking and enjoy my perspective in making ROH a worldwide promotion!

Although Elgin is as dull as cardboard, he should at least have a respectable reign before you dethrone him.

I like Steen and Daniels, but Strong is just so goddamn good. He'll make Elgin look a million bucks.

Same comment as the ROH World title match. Neither of those two teams deserve to win the belts.

It's Ciampa's time. :D

Never bet against the mystery man.

ACH vs. Silas Young

I do think ACH has good things ahead of him but I'm unsure what his stats are like. Silas Young is more readymade for title shots, etc.

maybe DQ due to run-in to set up a feud. I'm all for putting your mark on the promotion and naming your champion, but 2 weeks hasn't been enough time to build up a challenge yet

#1 Contender for ROH World Championship

the 2 big men could have a nice brawl for the title, while Bad Influence and Decade feud starts here.

ROH Tag Team Championship

The Briscoes vs. Londrick vs. redRagon

challengers should win a few matches before taking the world title. This PPV is a good stepping stone to the future, and one of the challengers could step up to prove they are the top contender. They are all just keep the titles warm until the Young Bucks arrive!!

ROH Television Championship

Jay Lethal vs. Tommaso Ciampa w/Prince Nana

with the major titles staying put, a title change here could provide some energy to the show....and set up an Embassy (if they're still called that) chasing to regain the belt storyline

If Styles wins, he will get a ROH World Title Shot at Border Wars

AJ Styles vs. ?????

i almost always bet against the mystery man lol. AJ is too good and seems to get held back in real life and in many diaries. Hope he gets a time to shine in your ROH

ACH vs. Silas Young

Bonus question: Who will be Styles opponent? (Hint: It's a new signing)

Answer: Prince D or Homicide

Random Thoughts: good start. PPV should help lay the foundation and set up the bigger PPV's down the road
