Lloyd I'm glad you could be here today, how are you doing?

TheLloyd:
I am very well thankyou CPB, thankyou so much for inviting me to be interviewed. It's an honour to be on the same card as Mr. Adam Ryland!!

CPB:
Well if any deserves it, it is a possible future Hall of Famer like yourself. First off I wanted to ask you about WWE THREE BRANDS longevity. Because you've been doing it almost 2 years, when you first started it did you think it would go on for this long?

TheLloyd
: Great question... The simple answer is no. Taking on a company like WWE was always going to be difficult to maintain, and many new writers try and fail, and I'd seen many do just that unfortunately while I was browsing the forums when I first got the game. But once I started creating/editing characters, and also editing (and creating) my own shows, I find it more and more difficult to not write for it!

CPB
: So with that how long can we expect Three Brands to continue? Is there a timetable of when the end will come or will it just keep going?

TheLloyd
: Second question in and you're trying to get rid of my diary! Hahaha! Well, I write a fair distance ahead of where I post, so I can tell you that, having just posted RAW, November, Week 2... I am now writing March Week 1! Which is 3 or 4 weeks away from Wrestlemania 31!! I've got ideas for matches at Extreme Rules (the backlash to 'Mania)... I think it's just going to keep going I'm afraid!

CPB
: That's great, I mean I believe Three Brands is up there on the list of Longest Running GDS Dynasties on the Board and the fanbase you've grown would really be sad to see Three Brands go away.

TheLloyd
: Yeh I mean, I've been lucky to have a big fan base, but it took time to build and gain readers, because of the amount of shows I have (two A shows and a B show, all written up fully at the moment). I'd hate to let them down, especially someone like michgcs, who's predicted on EVERY pay-per-view I've ever posted, and so many other people who have been with me a long time. I like to give out prizes for predictions, and with things like naming tag teams, and giving out nicknames, the fans get the chance to have 'ownership' of some of my characters.

CPB
: Hmm, I didn't know that, it's very fan interactive I see. Those are great choices that can really get the fans innvolved as you said in someones character. Moving on though, I have a hypothetical question for you. If Three Brands ended right now, would you start a new dynasty?

TheLloyd
: What a question!! I love that!!

CPB
: Why thank you,
:)
.

TheLloyd
: Yeh so, I mean, I obviously play the game a lot, and occasionally I'll take a break from Three Brands to try other companies, and like you say, this is two years in now, so a current day WWE or ROH game is always fun. I have also began some multiplayer games with some great GDS writers recently, and one is still going. The plan is a diary eventually I suppose... To answer your question, if Three Brands ended today, I would cry... and then start a C-Verse game I think! Which would then fail... because I suck at C-Verse.

CPB
: Hahaha, I kind of wanna see how you doing a C-Verse dynasty would turn out now.

TheLloyd
: You don't!
:p

CPB
: Haha, Very well then. Uhm, We'll move on now to your writing of Three Brands. So first, is or was it hard for you to write for three brands for the dynasty?

TheLloyd
: There are so many difficult barriers to overcome when writing this dynasty. I feel like I improve week to week, as I read an old show the other day, and it was odd to say the least. I think with three distint brands, (with the B-brand being Warzone which is kind of a Superstars/NXT hybrid), it's easy to forget small storylines sometimes. The big storylines, which will end in a pay-per-view match, (or on Warzone, there's a big match on an edition of Warzone later in the month) are easier to remember the ins and outs and plan for what is going to happen. Sometimes smaller storylines just fizzle out. Or at least, they used to.

CPB
: I guess there can be pros and cons to the storylines in that kind of set-up. I mean small storylines may fizzle out at times but you also get multiple platforms to showcase so many different talents.

TheLloyd
: Yeh that's exactly right.

CPB
: Now going back to your writing of Three Brands, what is your process of writing for it like?

TheLloyd
: This gets more and more complicated, in an effore to make things simpler. If that makes sense? Basically, I have a load of what I call 'blank shows'... One RAW, one Smackdown, one Warzone, one pay-per-view, and one pppv preview... And I copy them, and just add in the segments and matches. I also have the links to my photobucket for the dividers, the 'vs' symbols, allsorts saved on the blanks. The shows all have different graphics, but essentially they're all the same to write. Then, a key thing I now do is make sure I make a note of every segment I write, so that the next show, there's a natural progression.

CPB
: Yeah that's a very good sensible move to keep storylines flowing.

TheLloyd
: It helps me so much. I have picked up different techniques to help me over the years. I also have a 'cheat sheet' excel spreadsheet with all the information I need on it. It has upcoming pay-per-views, feuds, tag teams, etc on.

CPB
: Now I usually ask someone about there writing style but I just wanted to bring up something I just realized because I'm me. This is a complete coincidence but, I just realized that I got you Lloyd on the show in the exact month of the anniversary of Three Brands, so congrats on that.

TheLloyd
: Thanks man! Yeh two years ago this month I began the diary but I started the game a few weeks earlier.

CPB
: Now that I brought that up, tell me about your writing a bit? What made you use the style you use? Did you get from somewhere else? How has it evolved?

TheLloyd
: So yeh, I mean I was a fan of michgcs' longest title in dynasty history! I borrowed his border that he used to put around my matches. But like his diary, mine has evolved over time. So nowadays, I try to limit segments to one line of text, then a picture or a quote, then another line of text. I try to keep my shows short(er), but still get across what I needed to. I want my diary to be readable by everyone, so I try to avoid long words. But after two years of playing as the WWE, the characters and certainly the tag teams are all organic and like, if I typed 'The Big Game Hunters', new readers wouldn't know who they were!

CPB
: Yeah, I'd assume the following that you've created would know everything in your dynasty, from the feud that happened when it started to someone’s last push, etc. Not many dynasties have a following such as that so kudos for you on that.

TheLloyd
: Well I think it helps that my readers are all lovely people! I get PMs from them asking for advice on their own projects and, if they can find things out. At the end of every pay-per-view, I send out roughly 10-12 'prizes' to readers, for anything from predicting on every show across the month (i like to reward people for being regular readers! haha) and then also for top scoring on the pay-per-view, and best average across the month. Like I said earlier, I think my readers stick around becuase they helped create some of the characters and feuds.

CPB
: God Damn, 10-12 prizes a month! That has to be the most fan interactive thing someone has ever told me about in one of these interviews. Also responding to the first comments you made about people PMing you asking for advice, how does that make you feel that people look up to you for advice?

TheLloyd
: Another great question! It feels awesome! I work in a special needs school, so I like to think people look up to me there too. But to have people seek me out, as someone they want to write like,
(particularly when you consider how bad my diary was when it began)
is a great feeling. It doesn't happen every day mind you! haha! Just now and then, people will send me a thankyou and then ask me for help/advice. I think most writers will help people out if they can. michgcs, RKOwnage, Christmas_ape, Eisen-Verse, and a few others have all helped me out greatly over the months!

CPB
: Alot of the top guys I see, what have you seeked there help for?

TheLloyd
: All sorts really. I wanted to do something different with Warzone a while back, as I had three 'A-Brands' originally. So I asked a few of my readers, and a couple of writers I look up to for ideas. At the end of the day, we're not competing with each other in any way, we all enjoy and support each others' projects, and it's a great community to be a part of. The Diary of the Month stuff highlights that. If I'm nominated, I'll always vote for someone else who's up against me, it doesn't matter. I'm just happy to still have readers and I like to show my support for good writers!

CPB
: Yeah I love the sportsmanship and the friendly atmosphere as I said to Felisch last time on the show.

Well Lloyd it has been really fun talking to you and I'm glad you could be on the show.

TheLloyd
: Thanks for inviting me! I have to say, I was surprised to be asked but also honoured. And to be on the same card as Adam Ryland, I just hope people don't skim past me to get to him! hahaha!

CPB
: Lol, I don't think anyone would really want to pass this one or Angels or Teflons later on. But Lloyd I really did enjoy you coming on and I hope to see you at the Hall of Fame in the Spring.

TheLloyd
: Angel and TeflonBilly are both great guys too! So yeh, read on everyone!! Thanks man, I appreciate your comments.

CPB
: Now as we head to commercial let me show you all the video Lloyd brought with him. Do you have anything we must know about the video?

TheLloyd
: Well, sorry about the length of it firstly. But I decided to choose my favourite ever match from a weekly show. It's infamous for the finish. In some circles, known as 'That Superkick'. But the match itself was incredible... It's Shelton Benjamin (Intercontinental Champion at the time) versus Shawn Michaels (of course) in the 2005 Gold Rush Tournament! An amazing contest, where I thought Shelty B was going to win it a few times! It was such a sloppy, almost awkward match where it looked like nothing was rehearsed, it just flowed beautifully. Everything looked like it nearly went wrong and then BOOM!!! 'That Superkick!' Worth a watch if you haven't seen it!

CPB
: Weclome back to the show and without out any further delay my next guest tonight is one of the top writers on GDS right now, he has three dynasties going involving the C-Verse and Real World. He is Angeldelayette!!

*Clapping*

Glad to have you on the show Angel.

Angel
: You flatter me with the whole top writer thing. I am always glad to be a guest here. Thank you for having me.

CPB
: You deserve it my friend. First thing I wanted to ask you about here tonight is, how are you able to do three dynasties at one time?

Angel
: I will admit that its not the easiest thing in the world to handle three dynasties at once. One of the most important things about it is the fact that the three promotions are different. There is one promotion that is modern day, one that is historical and now a joint diary and one that is Cornellverse. It makes it a lot easier for me to write them whenever I am feeling most like each one in my mind.

CPB
: At this time do you have one that you may favor over the others?

Angel
: It may be because it is the newest one and that always gets a little more favoritism but right now I am really enjoying the modern day WWE. I have very specific plans moving forward to WrestleMania and hopefully some surprises coming soon in store for that diary.

CPB
: I can't wait to see what you have in store in the near future with the WWE not to mention in WCW and USPW as well. Keeping on the topic of the three of them, do you find it difficult to go back and forth between the three different companies?

Angel
: Absolutely, it can be difficult. Running three different styles of companies means that I can come up with what I think is a great idea to move forward with and then I have to decide which company gets that storyline and which will be the major players moving forward in the storyline. Also, just finding the time to keep them all up-to-date without one falling by the wayside can be very difficult.

CPB
: Yeah I can just imagine how difficult it must be to keep up to date on the three of them. Now moving on to your writing process, does that differ from dynasty to dynasty or does it stay stagnent with all the dynasties you commit to?

Angel
: My writing process is generally the same no matter what dynasty I write. The only difference that can come is when I do the historic dynasties, I cannot do internet writeups because the internet was either in its infancy or non-existant. So that can definitely change the way I present the company backstage.

CPB
: Staying very realistic, I like that.

Angel
: I feel that realism is important in any dynasty that you write, especially a historical one. Though, I do have a tendency to throw in some surprises that might not happen in real life but would be fun.

CPB
: Yeah, you need those fun moments to help maybe get some people not familiar with the time period maybe interested in the dynasty.

Angel
: That can be a very rewarding feeling. When you get someone who is maybe not familiar with the time period or maybe with the Cornell-verse, perhaps, or someone who has never really wanted to learn about it. However, they know your writing and know that they enjoy your writing so they will read anyway and learn and maybe become a fan of something they just did not know a lot about. I always love that feeling and love answering questions people might have about the time period or the mod itself.

CPB
: I can see how that is a rewarding feeling helping someone become interested in something brand new to them. Moving on now though, we talked about your writing process earlier, but right now lets talk about your style. How did you come up with the style you use currently?

Angel
: The truth of the matter is that I borrowed elements from other people and still continue to do so from this day. Whenever I am writing and need to get into someones head, especially in a historical process, I have a look at a couple of diaries written by someone called the ismailite. He wrote some excellent diaries and I have definitely taken some of his style of writing. Another person I have to credit with the style that I use currently is jhd1. He was using this style in a joint diary we had together and I find that it makes for ease of writing as everything is not done out in too much detail. But I feel it has enough detail that it doesnt feel like I am cheating the reader out of my writing.

CPB
: Personally your style is one of the most unique I've seen, considering you use smaller text then usual dynasties use and can fill up more space with one segment then some of the other dynasties that use bigger texts. I mean your segments I feel are very detailed and very well written. But to move on to my next question, why did you choose to use smaller text in your dynasties?

Angel
: First of all, thank you for the compliment. I am very appreciative of that. I have a rule that I utilize in my writing. I have a laptop that I use for my TEW stuff. And when I am writing, I write in the reply box and then I do a lot of previewing. My rule of thumb is that it needs to be at least four lines or I feel like I am cheating the reader. As far as the font goes, I can honestly give that credit to Eisen-verse. As I have said, I consider my style to be a grouping of a lot of writers and that in particular I got from the style that Eisen-verse uses. I liked the way that his writing looked and so I did a quote to see what font he was using and ever since then I have used that same font.

CPB
: Ok we are running a bit low on time so I gotta move foward to my next question. Ok so Operation WCW 1991 had been your single player dynasty for about two months and then you opened it up and got KnowyourEnemy into it as the WWF to make it a multiplayer dynasty. So my question is what was the change like going from WCW in a single player dynasty to a multiplayer dynasty?

Angel
: I would say that one of the biggest changes between a single player and multiplayer is both having to wait on the other person to do their thing and knowing that you are being waited on when you have the save file yourself. Sometimes I have felt bad when Ive had to go days without working on that particular save file, knowing that he cannot move forward without me doing my thing. But multiplayer dynasties are very rewarding in that you can see the vision of your world come more to life than it does with the AI taking over. After all, the AI had booked The Barbarian to win the WWF World title and thats not something that would have happened in real life. But I know that he is sticking to a more realistic plan. Speaking of that multiplayer dynasty, I can make the announcement here on this show that we are taking a bit of a hiatus from our dynasties. With everything going on in my real life, I am needing to focus moreso on real life and he has been understanding with that. I made the decision to put that one in particular on hiatus because I am just feeling the other two moreso right now.

CPB
: This is just a 'flat tire' stop on WCW I can't wait for the tire to be pumped up again so we can see it back and in full form again. Also to expand on what you said abour Babarian winning the title, I feel as though even with that misjudgment on the AIs behalf you gotta give kudos to KYE for making it into an interesting storyline, so I'm throwing a shout out right now to KYE. Angel we almost out of time but I have one last question to ask, What can we expect from USPW and WWE in the future?

Angel
: This is definitely just a speed-bump on the road of WCW in 1991. We will soon fix that flat tire and we will be moving ahead with SuperBrawl, which I believe will be a highly entertaining show. At least I hope that it will. I do have to give out kudos to KnowYourEnemy for the tremendous job he is doing with the WWF in 1991. He still plans to get out WrestleMania before the hiatus so that is something to look forward to. In regards to your final question, I hope that you can expect some entertaining shows and some twists and turns along the road. As one might have noticed, I did start the WWE diary in much the same form as the WWE is running right now. A little spoiler for your show as far as the WWE diary goes, is that we may soon be seeing the WWE return of a certain bald superstar who will be telling a certain opponent that youre next! A little spoiler as far as the USPW dynasty goes is that the Last Man Standing battle royal will feature not only wrestlers from USPW but from a couple of different promotions, including TCW.

CPB
: Very interesting, thank you for the exclusive spoilers. And I think I speak for everyone when I say I think we know who the bald guy is, it's obviously Stone Cold Steve Austin
:)
.

Angel
: LOL. You will have to tune in and read to find out for certain.
:)

CPB
: Haha, well angel it's been great talking with you and I wish you the best and hope everything in your real life works out. Talk to you soon my friend.

Angel
: Thank you so much, CPB. I really do appreciate the opportunity to be on this diary show. I also want to throw out a thank you to your help in running things like the Hall of Fame and the DOTM. You have definitely been a great addition to the diary family.

C
P
B
: Thanks Angel you just made my day, I really appreciate that. And I hope I can see you at the Hall of Fame either as an inducter or at the After-Party.

Angel
: You know Im always there. Just be careful with the punch.
:)

CPB
: Hahaha, good one Angel. See you soon.

Angel
: I will see you soon, my friend. Maybe in your dynasty.
:)
It has a great start to it so far.

CPB
: Thank you me and ringrider are loving writing it and are appreciating all the feedback. I would love to keep talking Angel but we now gotta head to commercial and when we comeback we will see the Song of the Show as well as Angels video.

CPB
: Now that were are back let me now introduce my next guest, he is the writer for WWF 1997 A New Attitude TeflonBilly!!

(TeflonBilly)

*Clapping*

Welcome to the show Teflon glad to have you, should I call you Teflon or Billy?

Teflon Billy
: Billy is fine CPB, or is it Mr. HBK?

CPB
: Haha, no Mr. HBK is my father. So, your WWF dynasty A New Attitude is you first dynasty if I'm not mistaken, correct?

TeflonBilly:
That's right, it's something I've always wanted to try, but never got around to before now.

CPB
: How have you enjoyed it so far?

TeflonBilly
: It's alot of fun. It's very different from playing the game just for yourself. I pay more attention to the stories instead of just grades.

CPB
: Yeah, that something that always has to change when writing a dynasty the transition of caring more about a story then ratings. But let alone high or low ratings, did you expect the reception for your first dynasty to be so good?

TeflonBilly
: Not remotely. I expected to hear crickets chirping after every post.

CPB
: Well lucky for you you've made a very compelling and enjoyable dynasty for many GDS Users, so kudos. Moving on, your writing process, what is it?

TeflonBilly
: I do most of my writing in my head while I'm at work, or commuting. I just hope my boss doesn't read this.
:)
I've always been a daydreamer anyway, so I try to work out the kinks to most of my show during the day, then when it's time to write it, most of the work is done.

CPB
: So is your writing process is just writing all the thoughts in your head?

TeflonBilly
: That's a good chunk of it. Unfortunately, I'm hyper-critical of my work, so it's about half writing down what's in my head, and hafl looking at the posted work and going, "What the heck was that, you dolt."

This dynasty had it's start in a game I was doing last year, so a solid chunk of it is loosely mapped out. As I got deeper in the game, I started thinking how some of the feuds would play out in written form. So most of my work in this dynasty is cutting out the stories that were place holders in the old game, and replacing them with a more deliberate stroy, if that makes sense.

CPB
: So basically you had done a WWF 97 dynasty in 2014 and are now using some of those stories in your dynasty?

TeflonBilly
: Yeah, I had to step away from it for 6 or 8 months, so I could start fresh and just keep the ideas I felt were worth using. Some of the World Title stuff, for instance, is very close to what I did, just adapted to the new game situations. The epic tale of TBD is all new.

CPB
: Oh yeah TBD I love them. There my favorite thing going in the dynasty to be honest. Speaking of favorite things in the dynasty, what has been your favorite thing in the dynasty so far?

TeflonBilly
: Honestly, TBD is mine too. I originally intended it as a kind of throw away gag. But they took on a life of their own, and as long as I can come up with goofy ideas for them, I will be fascinated by their antics.

CPB
: TBD reminds me of Snow and Blackman sort of, did you get any inspiration from that storyline?

TeflonBilly
: Definitely. I just "borrowed" the idea, but adapted it to Funk having a different personality. Blackman was kind of, I don't know how to put it, but I guess a serious character being teamed with a wacky partner. I see Funk as almost a classic straight man, he's the Abbott to Cassidy's Costello, if you will.

CPB
: Wow, Al Snow and Flash Funk being compared to Abbot and Costello, never thought I'd see that day. Billy it's been great talking to you, and before we go I have one question, What can we see in the future of A New Attitude?

TeflonBilly
: In Your House should be up tonight or tomorrow, then we'll see who HBK has to contend with at Mania. We have some factions forming, maybe a little gang warfare, and, of course, full frontal nudity. Unfortunately, that will be TBD also. It's been an honor to be a guest on your show, CPB, and I want to thank you for the support you've shown.

CPB
: No problem man, can't wait for In your House For Whom the Bell Tolls. It's been great having you on the show and as we head to commercial let me show you all the video Billy brought with him. Anything we need to know Billy?

TeflonBilly
: This is one of my favorite segments that doesn't involve Chris Jericho listing all 1,004 moves he knows. It definitely sums up my sense of humor.

<iframe width="644" height="410" src="
frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

CPB
: It is now time for possibly the biggest guest that we have had so far on the show. He is the developer for TEW, Wrestling Spirit, WMMA, and many other great games. He is Mr. GDS, please help me in introducing ADAM RYYYYLAND!!

*Clapping*

Thank you so much for joining me Adam

Adam Ryland
: No problem, how are you?

CPB
: I'm great and I'm glad you could take time to sit down with me here and now. How are you doing may I ask?

Adam Ryland:
Good, thank you.

CPB
: So right off the bat let me ask the first question I thought up and that is, When you first made EWR in 1995 how did you spread the word out about it? And what did you think the reception would be like for it?

Adam
: There wasn't any considered effort to 'spread the word', it was released just for friends to play. There was no plan to have other people play it, it just spread by its own accord by word of mouth. As for the reception, I wasn't really releasing it with any form of reaction in mind, it was just a project to amuse myself.

CPB
: Interesting, so did you notice eventually that people were enjoying it and that the reception of it was positive?

Adam
: Yes. We had a small forum set up after a few months, and that started to get more and more people as the game spread.

CPB
: After the game did spread what were your initial thoughts?

Adam
: People seemed to enjoy it, which was nice, but for the first year I was doing it more for my own enjoyment and because I was submitting it as coursework for college. That was my main motivation.

CPB
: So you used EWR to get a grade in college?

Adam
: It was part of my coursework, yes.

CPB
: That's very interesting, moving on, When you were a kid did you ever imagine that you would be doing what you have been doing for the past almost 20 years, developing all of these great games?

Adam
: No. I never considered that there was any sort of career in game making. It was always meant to just be a hobby.

CPB
: When did you first really know that it was more then a hobby and became of a career?

Adam
: Not until TEW2004 was a success.

CPB
: How successful was it? Profit, Reception, etc.

Adam
: It sold enough that it was viable for me to continue making games without making a loss. Reception was OK once the initial fuss died down, as the original release was marred by people complaining about it not being free.

CPB
: Haha, what? People were complaining about it not being free? Those must be some cheap people.

Adam
: At that point everyone was trained to expect free games as EWR always had been. That led to "you sold out" comments, which was ridiculous as I wasn't turning my back on any beliefs - I have no belief that my time isn't worth money, otherwise I'd never have a job!

CPB
: I find that just very disrespectful to say the least, I mean instead of appreciating you for making EWR free and understanding you have to make a profit off the game they ridicule the idea of spending money on the game that they desire.

Adam
: Thanks.

CPB
: No problem man. Now back to the questions, My next question for you is one that has been rolling around my mind for some time now and that is, When & How did you get interested in making these games?

Adam
: The first game was a card-based game that I made in 1993. I'm a big fan of card games, and like designing them. I turned it into a computer game in 1994 because I was learning to program and it was a good way to learn. It grew from there.

CPB
: So TEW/EWR started out as a card game?

Adam
: Well, EW and EWD were more directly based off the card concept. EWR and TEW really only share the name and lineage, they don't have much to do with the original other than being wrestling-oriented and management based.

CPB
: Ok I understand, so what was the card game like then?

Adam
: It was a roster builder game where you'd match up pairs of wrestlers and use the rating to earn more wrestlers. It was 1 player only.

CPB
: Compelling, because when I think of a wrestling type game I would always think multiplayer or AI competition but not 1 player only. Was there any competition in that game?

Adam
: No, but it was a very small project designed to fill an empty day, it wasn't like I was trying to design a pro game.

CPB
: Ok I got it, now we've spoke about some of the different games you've created such as EWR, TEW, EW, and EWD but out of every game you've made over the past 20+ years what has been your favorite?

Adam
: I think the best quality game in terms of design and programming is TEW2013. The one I play the most is WreSpi3 though, it's a concept I really enjoy.

CPB
: Ooo, could we possibly see a WreSpi3 dynasty by you ever in the future?

Adam
: No, I play too fast to ever write it all down for a dynasty. Having to chronicle it would take out a lot of the enjoyment for me.

CPB
: Have you ever tried or thought about making a dynasty for any of the games you've created?

Adam
: No, it really isn't something I'd enjoy. Some people do, and that's great, it's just not a task that would appeal to me. Besides, I never get enough time off to do them anyway.

CPB
: Yeah I get what you mean, I had a friend try and do a dynasty and it really just got him bored of the save he was doing. Moving on, to the TEW topic now, my first question about TEW is, do you have any time table set up for a possible release date for it in the future?

Adam
: I don't even know what my next game will be yet. No decision will be made until I get back from holiday. There definitely won't be a game in 2015, regardless of which game is next.

CPB
: Ok, now we have a suggestions thread in the TEW section. Of all the suggestions that have been made which one maybe interested you the most?

Adam
: I don't generally read them until I start prepping for the next game, so I don't have a good knowledge of them at the moment. I think there have been a few suggestions for how alliance titles could work and be shared across promotions, and while I like the concept I don't think any of the ideas have been 'the one' yet. If I can figure out a good way of doing that, that'd be a good way to go.

CPB
: Wow, that's kinda of good to hear because Alliance Titles is the thing that really interests me the most because that was a instrumental part of the NWA in general. I have one last question before we head to fan sent questions. When you first made the C-Verse how long did it take and how hard was it to make?

Adam
: I think it probably took about a month to construct the basic histories of what the promotions would be, how old they'd be, what styles would be covered, who the top workers would be, etc. Then it was probably two months to actually create all the biographies, fill out the skills, and test everything.

CPB
: So three months all together? Quicker then I would've thought.

Adam
: About that. But I tend to work pretty quickly, and I had a lot of ideas already thought out ahead of time.

CPB
: Yeah that would definitely speed up the process. Adam we've had a good talk so far and it's now time to do some fan sent questions! Are you ready?

Adam
: Sure.

CPB
: From Mootinie "Did he ever imagine TEW being as successful as it is? Does he read diaries? Look at mods?"

Adam
: No to the first two, and I look at a few mods now and then. Mostly ThunderVerse and DOTT as they're the two best mods.

CPB
: From Iruleall "What does popularity exactly mean? Is it based on how much wrestling fans know that wrestler or is it how many people know him/her? Comparing it to a WWE where wwe ignores its fan how would they be ran when the most popular guys are not pushed as main guys yet guys who fans are not really into get pushed hard."

Adam
: It's the reaction that worker can get from wrestling fans.

CPB
: From Packerman120 "Who is your favorite wrestler?"

Adam
: Dasher Hatfield.

CPB
: Who?

Adam
: Seriously? :-p I haven't watched wrestling in about a decade, even I know who he is!

CPB
: Haha, oh of course I know who he is
:p
. Lol. Is his gimmick being one of Santa’s reindeer?

Adam
: He's a Chikara wrestler with a baseball for a head.

CPB
: Ahh, Knuckleball Schwartz may sue him on gimmick infringement so he better watch out
:p
.

Adam
: Good old school reference. Next question.

CPB
: From Iruleall "Also who his favorite non SWF or TCW wrestler is if possible"

Adam: I like Jack Bruce's story. But I can't really do favorites, they're all part of my imagination.

CPB
: Yeah, it's like there all you children and you can't say oh I like you more then the others. Well Adam it has been great talking to you, I am honored that you could join me here today and hope we can see you soon in the near future.

Adam
: No problem, glad I could participate. Thanks for the interview.

CPB
: And as we leave you all let us see the video Adam has brought with him. Do we need to know anything about it?

Adam
: Yes. You surprised me with the question so it was poorly researched and entirely off the top of my head. I blame you, entirely. I'd like that to be known.

CPB
:
:)
Your Welcome. Let's go to the tape.

<iframe width="610" height="410" src="
frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

CPB
: I would like to thank Adam, Billy, Angel, and Lloyd all for joining and I hope you enjoyed, until next time I’m CPB saying so long.

What a fantastic edition of the show! Top notch stuff all around. :D

Thank you Kijar I'm that you enjoyed the show and I hope you keep reading.

....I'm not going to lie. I didn't peg Adam as a CHIKARA guy at all. Cracking match choice from the big man as well!

Yeah despite it 'poorly being researched' lol, it was still a great match choice.

Anyway, I was wondering what made you guys wanna do a two-player dynasty in the first place?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Ayden</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: I've started two diaries previously, both two player ones and both haven't worked out for various reasons (through no fault of the other person, might I add). For some reason, the two player dynasty just appeals to me. It's more fun seeing what your competitior is doing in the same thread as you and if they're doing good things then it makes you raise your game. Now, a couple of months after my previous failed dynasty, I was talking to Pack about wanting to start writing again as I missed it and Pack was taking a break from his six other dynasties he had going and suggested we started one. We both knew modern day was out of the picture as let's face it, WWE is the only company anyone gives a damn about, sorry to TNA fans, but it's the truth. Eighties was also out as I wasn't anywhere near birth and Ayden was a wee lad drinking his tea in New Zealand land. So, we then narrowed it down to the nineties. In the end, I believe it came down to 91 or 97. Both are excellent mods, but we went with 97 only because of the pure war going on at the time and because Ayden was more familiar with it. Since this was going to be his baby (other than the child he already has), I complied and said okay. That's how the magic happened.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Speaking about the war, I know in Montreal Aftermath Nitro has a clear advantage in the ratings war so my question for Packer is when do you expect to catch up?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Pack</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: I give it six months. Moving on, now we all know in real life the Monday Night War ended in 2001 when WWF bought WCW. So my questions are do either you believe one of you will lose this Monday Night War and if so who? I think that with two people controlling the companies that we really can't be stupid enough to put ourselves out of business, but hey you never know. However, if the war ever "ends" as to say, me and Ayden have an idea in our back pockets on how to continue this, but with only one company. If that ever happens, of course. But if that did, it'd be years down the line so I wouldn't be expecting to find that idea out anytime soon.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Ayden what do you think?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Ayden</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Yeah, what Pack said is pretty much on the money. While it might upset some readers, Pack and I aren't really going for blood with each other in-game either. We talked about young prospects we wanted to sign when we opened our development companies and split them evenly, we don't use the dirty tactics (yet) etc. I mean, what fun is a two player dynasty if one player gets destroyed early. I think the real competition won't start until we have both made these companies completely our own. The interesting thing is despite WCW having a ratings advantage and more money, we also have a very poisonous locker room so it starts off more even than people think.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: To go further on the elaboration of a possible end to the war do you guys have a set end to the dynasty? Or are you guys gonna keep going on and on until you lose the drive?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Ayden</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: There isn't a concrete end date, it's more a "in case of emergency, break glass" plan. The plan for now is to just keep going until one of our companies goes down. The beauty of this dynasty (and two player dynasties in general) is you don't get burned out as quick as you spend a bit of time waiting for the other player to take their turn (or in my case, a long time while Packs laptop keeps getting repaired. I warned you about those sites Pack) and you're only doing half the writing as you would be in a single player game. </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Pack</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Yup, that is definitely the case. Except for the laptop part. Oh, and for your info, it was the AC port so how would those sites affect that anyways haha? But yeah, it is a idea in case of boredom. I also like the two player format as it keeps me motivated as I personally would feel bad letting another person down after they have dedicated their time to a project. So that's that, I definitely share that same feeling with Ayden.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Yeah I have same feeling which is why I'm loving my 2-player dynasty with Ring Rider as it also gives you someone to bounce ideas off of without giving away details to a reader. </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Ayden</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Yeah, Pack and I bounce ideas off of each other as well. People like The Lloyd, Beej, Pack and a whole bunch of others that I don't have time to mention have all given me ideas on how to write or present certain things. My writing process comes from doing a bunch of writing for other sites as well. I used to do a bit of sports-writing for a site that a couple of friends and I own (it's currently down or else I would've plugged the hell out of it </div></div></div></div><img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">).</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Pack</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: I can attest to that as well. I personally take great inspiration from these boards. As you can see based on our format, Lloyd has heavily inspired me in the writing of this. Me and Ayden both wanted a plain and simple format that we could use to efficiently post shows with relative ease. Hence why we went with a Lloyd inspired format, as it is simple and looks good. To digress a bit, the format is what draws me into a diary. If your dynasty doesn't look good, then I have better things to do then hurt my eyes by trying to read it to put it bluntly. As to what has helped develop, I would have to say that as much as it may sound lame, schooling has helped me. Writing diaries increases my skill in writing, which in turn has helped me in both regards. And to Ayden, I actually never knew about that website. Kinda like that kid who you just mentioned to me recently haha </div></div></div></div><img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Ayden</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Haha, I'm a man of mystery </div></div></div></div><img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: So we unfortunately only got one fan sent question and it's from Packerman himself to you Ayden, it reads "Why are you a giant?" lol</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Ayden</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Hahahaha. Think DOTT, ThunderVerse style.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: WOW, should be very star-studded mod and could very well be the mod to watch out for in 2015.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">MHero</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: From what I've seen of it (having taken a bit of a step back recently from working on the mods with the team due to uni) it's a fantastic mod that will add so much history to the already expansive Thunderverse lore. From about middle school through early college, I used to be part of several roleplaying feds. It was something that really pulled me in & took a lot of my free time. I think, during this time, I became enamored with the idea of creating my own characters (fleshing them out as far as I could). Before I knew it, once I found GDS, the idea of a dynasty became an obvious choice for me (given my past). Now, though, I could control everything versus having a fed owner dictating whether or not my roleplays/promos were strong enough to win. It quickly became pretty addicting (an addiction that I still can't seem to kick to this day. ha)</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: What and When was your first dynasty on GDS?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">EV</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: I believe my first dynasty was in 2007. It was a cult-sized promotion with a lot of indy guys. The only thing I can really remember about that project was my creation of Stric Lee Bizness (Shooter Sean) and that I believe I was working with trios versus tag teams. I think that was where everything started to take hold for me. That said, I believe the one I enjoyed the most was SWF: Where Men Become LEGENDS. It was the first time I really dug deep into an SWF project and kept it running for close to 2 years. The characters, the storylines, the progression of it all had me glued to the screen as a writer/creator. While other projects have a soft place in my heart (i.e. The John Greed series), LEGENDS is one of those projects that I will forever weigh my own work against.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Yeah Where Men Become LEGENDS surely did become legend- wait for it -dary.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">EV</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Well played. ha</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Now as you stated you have had many dynasties so what has shaped your writing style as whole via all the different experiences from each dyansty?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">EV</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Great question. From a visual perspective, each project allowed me to try something new in the form of presentation. If you look back to my early works, it all looks rather plain (versus what you see now). It took, I believe, several projects to really cement the way I like to present my projects. From a writing perspective, I learned how to better construct and convey a storyline. I went from thinking "Wrestler A will face Wrestler B because I KNOW they'll produce a great grade" to better understanding the psychology of the emotional tie to the story/characters/situation. As time went on, I began to follow Paul Heyman's approach much more to booking... "Who are these people and WHY should I care?" It took me a little while to get to that point but, some 8 years later, I now feel as though I have finally grasped this notion as a writer. Finally, I learned that I couldn't write a first-person story anymore (as it pertains to me being the booker). I spent waaaaayyyy to much time focusing on what was happening in the background and, by the time I got to the actual shows, I was burnt out to writing. Now, I focus much more on the product in the ring (and the shows that follow) than how my character interacts with anyone backstage (which is a GREAT approach if you can balance all of that. I just know that I can't).</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Yeah I get where your coming from with that. I mean you could've spent an hour or two writing stuff going backstage and then when you finish you have to write out a two hour show with so many segments on it and it just gets you as you said 'burnt out'. </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">EV</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Absolutely. I truly do love reading first-person stories here on the GDS boards; however, for me, I would almost focus more of my attention on what John Greed was doing as a person than the company he was booking. Before I knew it, I found that I cared more about Greed than I did about that company/the shows/the characters. Eventually, this would kill most projects as I found I had no connection to the characters I was booking (outside of the character I was playing).</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: That connection with certain characters is always needed to make a dynasty successful and entertaining in my opinion because with that connection you can better convey all the storylines and angles with in the show it self and any backstage happenings aswell. </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">EV</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Very much so. It's the same as any great character in any form of literature. Do you really care about who they are? If not, do you hate them enough to push you toward an emotional response? If neither is there, then you run the risk of wasting your time (as no one will get the proper response you're looking for). That's how I see wrestling as well. It's really a basic tenant but, in some ways, I feel we've gotten away from it. Why should I care about what's happening here (to this character)? What pulls at me emotionally? If nothing, then I could care less and will probably turn the channel/look away/stop reading. For me, I look at character development more along those lines (and along the lines of the greater character depth we see in other forms of entertainment). I, as a writer, need to make you feel something about my characters. If not, we're all going to grow bored with what's happening.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: In my opinion that is what gives an advantage to C-Verse mods because you don't know the character yet so you don't dismiss them as a jobber or say or this guy would never do this. I mean as many of my other guests that play the C-Verse and have done C-Verse dynasties have said, The C-Verse is an open book with empty pages and you get to fill in those pages how you like.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">EV</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: 100% agree with that idea. That's what pulls me to the C-Verse over any real world mods. It's not that I don't enjoy booking real wrestlers (as that's what I used to do exclusively before jumping into the C-Verse) but the freedom of the C-Verse is so intoxicating. As many have said before, the real world is locked into a given state. If you challenge it (let's say, changing Triple H's character to something more radical in nature) then you're bound to get a lot of push back (or people who are unwilling to read due to the absurdity of it). That said, in the C-Verse, I can mold my wrestlers however I see fit (even if they come with a background already).</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Speaking of the Real World will we see you ever maybe do a real world project again?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">EV</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: I'm not sure. Up until now, I haven't produced one on the GDS boards. My real world games have often stayed offline (and, in reality, those games haven't happened in years now). To be honest, before I brought "Dark Age" to the forefront, I was thinking of booking the new and improved TNA/Impact Wrestling. I was interested in their shift from Spike and felt I could possibly tell a decent story with them. I had gone as far as to start to craft how I wanted the project to look/feel. As time went on though, I found myself continually looking to the SWF like a wide-eyed puppy. I knew that, while TNA would be fun, my heart was still in the C-Verse at this point. Never say never though, I guess.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Wow, very interesting. That would've been very interesting to read TNA's change from your point of view. But hey I aint complaining because you gave us SWF: Dark Age instead which has been a big hit since it's incception with the big Richard Eisen is dead twist to it. Speaking of that, what gave you the idea to kill Richard Eisen off?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">EV</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: It's a mixture of a few things, I suppose. As someone who seeks out wrestling news, you constantly hear of this "changing of the guard" scenario with VKM getting older now. That really sparked my interest to start. What would happen to such a powerful company if the very visionary of that company was no longer around? Would it fall apart? Continue to succeed? There's so much potential there (either way). With the C-Verse, unlike the real world, the SWF has both USPW and TCW nipping at their heels; desperately wanting to take over the top spot. With Richard Eisen passing, there would be considerable buzz about whether or not Cornell/Strong could finally 'do it' and take over the top spot. I even adjusted the game in which to knock the SWF down a peg (slightly) to show what I thought would happen right after Richard's passing (slightly lower prestige & momentum). They were still #1 but I wanted to see what would happen now that the "Supreme Visionary" was gone. On top of that, I actually had this idea stemming back before LEGENDS but, instead, went with a more straight forward approach with that project (as I wanted to tell a story of the SWF as it was in the game). With that under my belt, I knew that I could now jump in and change things slightly; telling a new story in the process.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: So with that how is the battle between the big three looking, how far off are TCW and USPW?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">EV</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Right now, it's pretty much how it started off. I'm only a few shows into the new year but, if you take ratings as a symbol of where we are, the SWF is still dominating the scene. As you would expect, TCW is relying heavily on Tommy Cornell to pull their show grades up. Sadly, for them, I think they could lose a big name or two over the next few months (as I tend to 'cheat' to see how long a wrestler may be in a contract and whether or not I could possibly steal them. I don't adjust the length of their contracts but justify my snooping with saying that I have an "insider" reporting to me). If they do lose out on the bidding wars then it may be even harder for them to truly compete.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Going back to the death of Rich Eisen, you had the angle of who was gonna take over the company. Was it gonna be Jerry, Eric, Peter Michaels or whoever. Personally I thought Peter was gonna get the whole kit and kaboodle but shockingly you split it between four people, one being Richard Eisen's unknown mistress Anneliese Eisen (Ana Garcia) which was a HUGE Shock. What made you think of the four way split and the Anneliese Eisen angle?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">EV</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: I wish I could say that the Anneliese Eisen angle was always my direction but that's not the case. Initially, I wanted to tell the story of feuding brothers: Jerry & Eric. I tend to pull inspiration from all over the place and was inspired by the family struggles that used to happen in ancient times (Egypt, mostly). It was going to be this gripping back-and-forth between the two of them and the plan was to have Jerry ultimately win out. From there, I started to toy with the idea that maybe Christian Faith would take the company due to the fact that Richard Eisen trusted him the most. He's always been an SWF-company-guy and pratically broke his body for the "Land of Supreme" throughout his career. How wonderful would it be for the man who personifies the SWF to then become the owner? After awhile though, that felt a little too simple for me as well. So, I looked to the idea of Big Brother (TV Show on CBS) and most boardroom dramas and thought that THAT idea could extend to professional wrestling. In this case, they would all have to share ownership of the company and function as a Board (or a family, really). Then, it hit me, there needed to be something more dramatic to add a little more flare. In comes Anneliese Eisen (Ana Garcia). I wanted it to be a younger mistress and someone no one would expect. That said, it wasn't a choice simply to throw people off. I have big plans for Ms. Eisen going forward.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Any insight on what those plans may be?</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">EV</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: As you would think, I can't give that away entirely. ha </div></div></div></div><img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> That said, I can say that she will, quite possibly, be the most important figure in the SWF by the years end. </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">CPB</span></strong></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">: Well it should be very exciting to see where you take Eisen aswell as all the other stories you have going in the Dark Age. GDS Hall of Fame 2015

Just a quick update, the Hall of Fame is in the process of being completed. I've got some of the induction speeches and introduction speeches given to me, but some are in the process of being made, so expect the show from mid-late May. Also I wanted to make the big announcement of the five people who were voted into the Hall of Fame Class of 2015. So without any further ado let me announce the five new inductees into the GDS Hall of Fame!

Lemme just say a strong thank you to the people who voted for me, it really does feel like I've been given a huge honor.

Yeh I'm humbled too man! It's a weird feeling right? Well done to everyone who won, and thanks to all who voted for me :D
