The Orient Express w/ Mr. Fuji The Rockers look to get some revenge after losing and being attacked by Mr. Fuji's other men Demolition. They now go up against Kato and Tanaka to get that revenge, but will Kato and Tanaka be able to dish out even more pain to the Rockers? The match starts out with the Rockers using their speed to get a very swift advantage on the Express. But after some Fuji involvement the tide changes as Shawn Michaels is caught in the ring to the mercy of Kato and Tanaka. Shawn would be isolated until he hit a flying forearm on Kato and was able to barely make the tag to Marty Janetty. Marty came in like a house of fire hitting Kato and Tanaka with everything he had. Kato would be able to catch Marty off guard though with a clobbering blow and whip him off the ropes. He would duck down possibly going for a backdrop and Marty would go over and try and execute the Sunset Flip but couldn't get Kato to fall into it. Then Shawn enters the ring and hits Kato with a Crescent Kick that knocks him out basically and gets him to fall right into the pinfall by Marty and The Rockers get the win to the displeasure of Mr. Fuji. Grade: C/63 PPV Notes: Good Way to start the show off. Big Bossman: Mean Gene when I take on Barbarian later tonight I am dedicating the Atlanta sized butt whooping I give to him to my mama. And when I get through with him that Weasel Bobby Heenan as I said on Superstars he will be seeing some hard time for all he has said about my Mama. As he walks to the ring we see fans around ringside holding their ears so they don’t have to listen to his terrible song. And many of the people in the crowd begin booing him as he enters the ring. When he gets in the ring he picks up a microphone and as his music stops we hear the boos a little more loudly and clearer. The Mountie: DO YOU KNOW MY NAME!?!?! (Which gets a chorus of boos) I said, DO YOU KNOW MY NAME?!!?! (And that gets even louder boos) Well if you don’t know my name you will after tonight because after tonight you will never forget the name of The Mountie. Because I will serve justice for the World Wrestling Federation from now on, and right now I would like my first ‘convict’ (Opponent/victim) to come out so I can give them a dose of justice. Mountie would win by submission when Jim Powers gave in to the Mounties Quebec Crab. Mountie asks him again “I SAID DO YOU KNOW MY NAME?!?!!?!” And Powers in fear of being shocked again answers, “YES, I know your name. You’re The Mountie.” The Mountie looks pleased with Powers and then says “Was that so hard?” He then throws Powers to the mat and taunts his win to the crowd. Bobby also comments on Bossman’s mother again adding insult to injury going into the match-up. Bobby Heenan: Listen here, Bossman says I will be facing hard times but that can’t be any further from the truth because he will be the one crying for his mama once The Barbarian is done with him. And Bossman I have no idea why you’re angry with me, just because I’m telling facts about your Mama. Speaking of that, I’ve found out a new fact about her. The match starts out slow and continues that way for the most part of the match. Bossman would keep the advantage for a while in this one until Bobby Heenan grabbed his foot and Barbarian hit a clubbing forearm. Barbarian would go for the oriental spike but Bossman would throw his arm away and would hit a atomic drop, which dropped Barbarian to a knee. The Big Bossman then ran against the ropes and came off to hit a crossbody block on Barbarian!! Bossman gets the one two three and the win. And as the referees hand comes down for the three the camera pans to Bobby Heenan who high tails it to the backstage area. We go back to Bossman who sees Heenan running off and Bossman chases after him to try and get his hands on the Weasel and get some revenge. Bret Hart: Tonight we defend these titles against the Nasty Boys and we can tell everyone watching right now that we won’t lose to them. Because me and Jim have more Heart, Courage, and Adrenaline running through our bodies then The Nasty Boys even if you put Jimmy Hart with them. In this one we saw some mixed styles as the Hart Foundation used their technical skills while The Nasties used their brawling skill. And sometimes opposites attract which made this match very good. It was a classic back and forth tag match and no one knew who would come out on top. In the closing moments referee was distracted by Brian Knobbs trying to enter the ring which allowed Jimmy Hart to give Jerry Sags his megaphone. Jerry swung the Megaphone at Bret but he ducked the shot double legged take down Sags and Jacknifed covered him. Neidehart ran in and tackled Knobbs to the floor and Tim White counted 1… 2… 3. The Hart Foundation retain in could be match of the night. Rick goes on to say that he doesn’t even expect Jake to show up, he probably is too scared to go against a superior athlete as 'myself'. Rick Martel: Ha-ha-ha, Gene it does not matter if my opponent can see or not I will not back down from there challenge. In fact I would not be surprised if Jake Roberts failed to show his ugly face here tonight because Gene, you, I and every person watching over the world knows that a superior athlete such as myself can’t be matched in any contest what so ever. Martel grabs a microphone and says that he knew that Jake didn’t want to face him because Martel would just embarrass him. He then tells the referee to award him the win, and reluctantly referee Dave Hebner obliges and Rick Martel is rewarded the win. You should be worried about Tito Santana though because I will once and for all rid the WWF of him and send him back to Mexico where he should have never left. He adds that no matter if the whole Heenan Family gets in his way he will still walk out with the title. And he ends the interview off with his signature ARRIBA!! Tito Santana: There are no if ans or buts about whether I think I will become the new Intercontinental Champion tonight. For the past few years championships eluded me as I have lost title matches in the past. But tonight is in my book my last chance to show that I am still championship material to myself. And whether or not the Heenan Family will get involved it won’t matter because even if they do I will give it my all and come out on top as a Three Time Intercontinental Champion. Perfect would lock on a side headlock and Tito would escape with a head scissors locked in on Perfect. The Perfect would get out of the head scissors with a jackknife cover which we saw earlier in the Tag Title match ending, but Santana kicks out at one. When both men reach their feet Perfect hits a headlock takeover and Tito is unable to hook on the head scissors. But after the crowd gets behind Tito he gets to his feet and pushes Perfect against the ropes, leapfrogs him and hits a dropkick sending him to the floor. Tito would follow him to the floor and when he picks him off the floor mat Perfect would hit a right hand right to the jaw of Santana before smacking his head on the barrier. He then throws Tito in the ring and taunts to the crowd before entering the ring. When he does Tito is in the corner getting to his feet and Perfect begins smothering him with his forearm until a 4 count by the ref. He then backed off only to hit a right hand in the face of Tito, but Tito would fight back out of nowhere with rights and lefts to the IC Champion. Tito throws Perfect against the ropes and hits a back drop and Perfect scurries to the floor. As Perfect re-enters the ring he and Tito do the collar and elbow except Perfect eye pokes him and then snapmares him and follows that up with an elbow to the neck. Mr. Perfect then headed to the middle rope with Gorilla and Piper questioning him not going for a cover, but anyway he stalked Santana to his feet and hit a missile dropkick and the covers Santana. 1… 2… Tito gets his shoulder up at two. Perfect is a little POed by this, he then sizes Tito up for his Flipping Neckbreaker. He heads to the corner and when Tito sits up Perfect flips and whiplashes Santana’s head forward, Gorilla is quoted as saying “I’m glad I retired.” Perfect then calls for the Perfect Plex and when he attempts it Tito swirls out of it and whips Perfect against the ropes and hits his Flying Forearm, covers Perfect 1… 2… Perfect barely kicks out and Tito can’t believe it, after asking the ref if it was a three he heads to the top rope awaiting Perfect to stand. But Perfect gets up quickly and crotches Tito on the turnbuckle. Perfect just pulls Tito off the turnbuckle and picks him up for a slam, but Tito falls behind him and school boys Perfect. 1… 2… NO! Perfect kicks out and both men reach their feet at the same time Perfect kicks him in the gut and tries the Perfect Plex. But Tito does a swift Small Package as a reversal. 1… 2… 3!! Mr. Perfect kicks out a split second too late and Tito Santana wins the Intercontinental Title. Perfect cannot believe it and neither can the fans, who are extremely happy for Tito who is now a three time IC Champion. Slaughter w/General Adnan This one is sloppy from the get go, as these two did not gel at all in the ring. Weak slams and bat looking hits made for a very disappointing match-up. The Warrior held the advantage for most of the match with his power taking down Slaughter. But that turned when Adnan would get involved and distract the ref allowing Slaughter to low blow Warrior. And Slaughter would lock in the Camel Clutch, but the will of the Warrior got him to his feet and he planted Slaughter on his back in the corner. As Slaughter comes out of the corner Warriors slams him hard with a Powerslam. And as he covers him for a two Adnan pulls the referee out and knocks him out with a right hand, which gets the crowd in frenzy. Adnan runs in the ring but the Warrior isn’t effected by the right hands by the Iraqi General and just lifts him high in a Military Press position and drops him neck first on the top rope before clothelining him out of the ring. Macho would then drag Slaughter over Warrior and go outside to throw referee Joey Marella back in the ring before he leaves ringside. Marella is dazed but sees the pin and crawls over to count. 1… 2… 3. Sgt Slaughter has beaten the Ultimate Warrior to become the new WWF Champion as the crowd are in an almost riot form. Rick Martel then comes behind Taker and tries to throw him out but Taker fights him off easy and hits a right hand to the chin of Martel sending him squirming to the corner with Taker following. After Takers man-handling performance we see Jim Duggan fighting off DiBiase and Virgil, knocking DiBiase over the top and to the apron. And when Duggan tries a three point stance clothesline on DiBiase he gets low bridged and eliminated. After that elimination DiBiase begins to taunt Duggan from the apron while Virgil just looks on, and then from behind Macho King knees Virgil in the back knocking him into DiBiase making Ted fall off the apron and down to the floor. As Virgil is just staring down and DiBiase yelling at him from the floor Macho King comes behind Virgil dumping him to the apron. Warlord would be staggered but would come back with a few quick rights of his own which stagger Taker. After that Taker would just hit about eight rights and lefts on Warlord leaning him into the ropes for some support. Taker then ran against the ropes and hit a boot on Warlord knocking him out of the ring. Macho King comes from behind Taker with a knee which doesn’t faze him at all. Taker turns around and is met with a few rights from Randy and then answers them with rights dropping Savage on the mat and Savage crawls to the corner where Taker meets him and starts striking him. Rick Martel would get up and start putting some boots to British Bulldog who is trying to get to his feet in the corner. When he gets in the ring Earthquake begins putting buts to the Hulkster and then from behind British Bulldog aids Hogan by attacking Earthquake from behind. Earthquake is a bit fazed by him but turns around and headbutts the Bulldog and then takes him by the head and throws him out of the match. Macho King runs behind Earthquake and begins hitting him with right hands. But Earthquake pushes him in the corner and squishes him. The Undertaker then makes it to his feet and Earthquake goes over to him only for Taker to duck a haymaker right, run against the ropes and Big Boot Earthquake in the mush to send him over the top rope in a shock to everyone. We are now down to the final three Hulk, Macho, and Taker. Hogan and Taker begin trading blows as Macho regains his composure, and once he does Macho and Taker double team Hogan. After it looks as though Hulk is all but done after receiving a Chokeslam Taker and Savage try and pick him up, but Hogan pushes them away after gets to his knees. Savage would then hit Hogan with a square right hand and Hogan would just look at them both wide eyed Taker then strikes Hogan and all the Hulkamaniacs rise to their feet and Hogan Hulks Up. As he gets to his feet Savage tries a right but Hogan blocks it and hits a right of his own knocking down Savage. And then Taker blindsided Hogan from his side and gets him on the ropes. The Crowd has almost blown the roof off the building as Hogan tells us one more and points to Macho King on his knees. When Hogan grabs Macho by the hair he gets hit below the belt as Macho low blows him as Slaughter and Adnan look on approvingly. Macho then points to the sky and heads to the top turnbuckle for the Elbow and with the energy he has left climbs to the top rope. He points to heavens and leaps for Hogan but hits canvas as the Hulkster moved. Slaughter and Adnan look on with no emotion what so ever as Hogan starts to his feet along with Macho. As both men meet in the middle of the ring Hulk blocks a right hand from Randy and hits the roundhouse rights till Macho is against the ropes. Hogan throws Macho against the ropes and hits the boot and calls for and hits the Atomic Leg Drop. Once he does that Slaughter and Adnan go on the apron and all the referees swarm them to get them off and they do and they try to escort them out but Slaughter and Adnan are just trying to force their way through the refs. As this is happening Hulk Hogan is just staring at Slaughter as a USA Chant breaks out. Hogan then notices Macho using the ropes to get back to his feet and then Hogan comes behind Macho and just dumps him out, landing Randy on his feet and the Tacoma Dome is believed to have no roof after that as everyone just erupted. Hogan goes to the head of the ring to then tell Slaughter he is coming for the title and then Macho just slides back in the ring. Slaughter and Adnan back off the ring and start walking to the back and then in the ring from behind Hogan, Macho King knees him in the back and that sends Hogan up and over the top rope down the floor and is recorded as Eliminated as the referees never saw Macho hit the floor. Macho celebrates in the ring as Hogan can’t believe it and argues with the referees on the floor. But Macho King has won the Royal Rumble, and Alfred Hayes makes that clear with Gorilla and Piper. As Piper and Gorilla keep telling us that this is such a controversy as the Rumble goes to black. Couple of observations from the competition: 1) Shocked (and loved) that Tito took the IC title from Mr. Perfect! I know it didn't get the grade you hoped for, but don't sell Tito short. Under rated performer during this era, IMO. He can find a home in WCW any day. 2) Loved the Bossman promo--thought you nailed his voice! 3) The Mountie has the makings of a great heel for you! Nice characterization in a big debut spot. (Maybe a great opponent for Tito at Mania?) 4) The Rumble match--what! Great job capturing a lot of little details for a variety of guys. The Final Countdown Posted March 11, 2015 Share Posted March 11, 2015 All the while Savage and Martel started a double team on Robert Gibson, and Lord Alfred coins the phrase “This is Marvelous Madness()” I've recently played catch up with both this and RingRider's excellent companion diary, and have to say you're both doing a great job! I don't know why I forgot to predict for the Rumble; an oversight on my part. As for the Rumble itself--a tremendous show with a dramatic and (pleasantly) surprising ending. Hogan winning the Rumble seemed a foregone conclusion once Slaughter won the title, especially since he did it with Savage's help. Thus, the ending (which was extremely well-written BTW) caught me by complete surprise. It still feels like we're positioned for Hogan/Slaughter and Savage/Warrior like we got in real life, but we'll see. That was a heck of a run by Martel. He seems poised to potentially be a top heel down the line, which could be a fun twist on reality. Mr. Tunney ponders and says that he doesn’t think Mr. Perfect has earned a rematch, which makes Bobby and Perfect go wide eyed. Tunney goes on to say although I suppose there is a way you could earn it, as Perfect looks now intrigued. Tunney says that there will be a 4-man tournament to decide the man who will be number one contender for the Intercontinental Title at In Your House. Perfect and Heenan are both outraged by this, but Tunney would continue to say that since Perfect is so giddy to get the title back he will on All-American Wrestling face off with 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan in the first round of the Intercontinental Title Tournament, and with that Mr. Tunney exits the ring with Heenan and Perfect fuming over these developments. But as Roddy and Gorilla start talking about how Duggan will win and that with Heenan at the booth Perfect stands no chance. Bobby disagrees but then tells us he has an announcement. (C+/67) Bobby grabs a microphone and begins in his usual sad for himself tone tells the fans that he will no longer be broadcasting for All-American Wrestling which gets a huge cheer from the fans. He tells us that he needs to focus all his attention on his family and make sure everything rolls smoothly through WrestleMania. As the fans get less cheery after that announcement Bobby gets insulted that there so disrespectful and then he begins to pick on the crowd calling them all fat and ugly Puerto Rican people and then says there just as ugly as Bossman’s Mama. And that’s hard to be since not even garbage men will pick that trash up. That garner humongous boos from the crowd and actually makes Roddy Piper so outraged that he gets up and gets a microphone and begins trash talking Heenan about how he is sick and tired of berating Bossman’s Mama and poking fun at her “so unless you want a beating I suggest you get to your Family right now and get out of my face.” Heenan says “What are you gonna do?” Piper would rear back which then caused Heenan who was seeing pain in his future to run off with his tail between his legs. (C+/70) Gorilla Monsoon then sends it to a pre-taped promo by the Million Dollar Man with Virgil by his side. Ted talks about the trouble he and Virgil had at the Rumble with Virgil ‘costing both’ of them the Rumble Match. Ted tells us he has forgiven Virgil because he is a forgiving man but from now on there will no me slip ups between me and Virgil. When Ted asks for Virgil’s seal of approval he just nods with no emotion in the background and Ted just gives off his signature laugh as we come back to ringside with Brian Costello in ring. (C/66) In a contest with decent in-ring action Ted DiBiase w/ Virgil defeated Brian Costello in 4:56 by Submission with the Million Dollar Dream (C/62) When the match is over Ted tells Virgil to come in the ring and present him with the Million Dollar Title. But Ted notices some reluctance when Virgil gets the title and starts walking in the ring. When Virgil does enter the ring and hands DiBiase his title DiBiase immediately throws it on the ground and tells Virgil to pick it up. Virgil looks a bit annoyed at that request but after Ted threatens to fire him Virgil does what he’s told. Once he picks the title up and presents it to Ted, he is told to raise the Million Dollar Man’s hand and does it very reluctantly. As Virgil begins over to the ropes to hold the ropes down for Ted, The Million Dollar Man notices a scuff on his boots and tells Virgil to polish them off. Virgil just looks at Ted and after not moving Ted gives him the ultimatum “Polish my boots or I could just fire you.” Virgil embarrassed just does it and after Ted tells him that this is how it should always be don’t think it will ever change. (C-/59) Mr. Fuji is in the interview area giving a promo with his Crusade of The Orient Express and Demolition behind him. He tells us that come In Your House the LOD will once and for all fall via Kato and Tanaka. He then goes on to challenge the Hart Foundation for the Tag Team Titles on behalf of Demolition and then calls them cowards if they do not accept. Fuji finishes off saying that ‘at In Your House my Crusade will show why they are the dominant force in the WWF.’ (D+/51) Demolition w/ Mr. Fuji & Orient Express show off their skill and destructiveness as they defeated The Moondogs with Demolition Decapitation (D/44) Mike McGuirk is backstage with WWF’s residence law enforcer Big Bossman who talks about beating Barbarian and how Bobby ran off following the match. Bossman even if he has to go through all of the Heenan Family he will get his hands on Bobby. And with that he challenges Haku to a match at In Your House. And he says lastly “At In Your House, Haku will receive just half the beating I have prepared for the Weasel himself.” (C+/68) In a contest with average in-ring action Big Bossman defeated. They tell us that the Intercontinental Title Number one contender tournament will be the thing people need to focus on tonight as the Main Event is to decide who will face Dino Bravo in round one as Boris Zhukov takes on Greg Valentine. After that they speak about some new superstars coming to the WWF and one debuting tonight right now as they head to ringside for the debut (return) of “Playboy” Buddy Rose. (C-/54) In a quick match “Playboy” Buddy Rose showed off his ability to get the fans to hate him as he beat Al Burke in 5:03 with the Las Vegas Jackpot (DDT). (D-/41) We head back to McMahon and Mooney who talk about the recent debut of The Mountie. They then send us to a pre-taped promo of Mountie’s first ‘convict’ Jim Powers. Powers talks about how after his match with Mountie that he felt as though he wasn’t the prime competitor he used to be. In fact he calls himself an underdog and says that after that match he headed right to the gym to work harder than he ever had. He finishes with “So when I make my in-ring return many may think I am an underdog, but the thing is the Underdog’s have more drive and determination because they have something to prove. So when I do return you can classify me with no doubt as the Ultimate Underdog as I have something to prove to every WWF Superstar, that I am still a top competitor.” (D/42) McMahon and Mooney then send it to another pre-recorded promo with Bobby Heenan and Haku. Also they tell us about Haku-Tugboat and Undertaker’s Cabin revealed before speaking about whether Rick Martel will accept Jake Roberts challenge as the first match is under way between Rick Martel and Saba Simba. This one would see Saba open the match with some strong offense before Martel outsmarted him and hotshotted him on the rope. From then on Martel had the upper-hand and would defeat Simba at 6:47 with the Boston Crab submission. Tugboat and Haku had tests of strength early on which Tugboat won, but he would soon be on the defensive after constant Bobby Heenan distraction and interference. Throughout the match the fans at home would hear Roddy Piper’s displeasure of having to watch Heenan constantly cheat and also brought up him almost jacking Heenan in the jaw on All-American Wrestling. Bossman then begins to check on Tugboat as we hear Roddy Piper on commentary saying how close he was to running in there to make the save. The Video opens with Paul Bearer in front of the door of the wood cabin inviting the camera man inside with his urn in hand. As Bearer creeks the door open we hear sawing of wood and Bearer begins to walk us through a maze of tools until we see The Undertaker working on what looks to be a coffin with no top on it, which it looks like he is sawing right now. Bearer welcomes us to The Undertaker’s sanctuary and says The Undertaker has been working on this special coffin (Which is Black and has a Purple trim around all the sides) for some time now and they are now sending a challenge out to anyone that wants to face “My Undertaker” at In Your House to have your soul cleansed and to make sure you, Undertaker says “Rest.. Hogan would knock Adnan right off the apron before Slaughter would jump him with the title belt and start the beatdown on Hogan, meanwhile Macho King and Dwayne would double team the Warrior as Dwayne held him against the ropes as Macho would do the damage. After a few strikes he would start beating Warrior with his crown until the Warrior was on the ground then proceeded to get Dwayne in the ring to Powerbomb the Warrior and Macho would head to the top rope and hit the Elbow Drop on the fallen Warrior. All the while Hogan was being whipped with the WWF Title by Slaughter and being stomped on by General Adnan until Slaughter would lock in the Camel Clutch on Hogan which put Hogan to sleep. As Superstars ends Macho King, Dwayne, Slaughter, Sherri, and Adnan all raise each other’s hands in the ring as Hogan and Warrior have suffered an excruciating beating at the hands of these four. Good win and good promo from Martel. It amuses me that the royal bodyguard is just "Dwayne". Is the name supposed to have any sort of significance? Oh noes, Haku is gonna sink the Tugboat! Nice guy Bossman makes the save to further his story, which works. All the Desert Storm and Hussein stuff in that Sarge promo would have gotten him nuclear heat. Written well, just as Slaughter would have said it himself. First coffin/casket match should be a good one, can't wait to see who you put in it. Pun intended. A small push for "The Hammer"? Sounds like it could be a fun midcard run, at least until he gets older. Glad to see Hercules getting a nice face push. Herc was always a favorite of mine, and while he may be a little past his expiration date, it can't be too far beyond it that he can't make you a solid upper carder. Harts vs Demolition should be a fun match. Hogan and Warrior getting beaten down at the end of the show is always a surprise, I guess the MegaManiacs aren't as strong as the MegaPowers were Good show CPB, can't wait to see more from you and RR! Dwayne just seemed like a bodyguard name to me glad you find it amusing. Yeah I really am liking the Slaughter promos alot. Nice pun Beej lol. I always liked Greg so I thought I'd give him a midcard shot I'm gonna see how Herc does and if he works out well good things could be in his future. Yeah all this Road to Wrestlemania angles between Hogan, Warrior, Savage, and Slaughter are really fun to me and I can't wait for In Your House and Mania they're gonna be great. They tell us we have a great show and that we will hear from The British Bulldog and Texas Tornado later and that the Bulldog will also be in action against Jimmy Hart’s big man Earthquake. (C+/70) The Debuting Fantastics (Tommy Rogers & Bobby Fulton) would attempt to make an impact in their debut against The Orient Express w/ Mr. Fuji. The Orient Express seemed as though they had this one in the bag after some cheating tactics, but then the LOD would make their way to the ring and this would allow the Fantastics’ Tommy Rogers to get a roll up victory. (C-/58) Then we are sent to a backstage interview where Mean Gene Okerlund is with the Master of Style Slick and his clients Paul Roma and The Warlord. Slick talks about how Hercules made a stupid decision when he turned his back on all three of them and now at In Your House Hercules will get his come up-ins when he faces Paul Roma. (C-/58) “The Beast from the East” Bam Bam Bigelow would demolish Duane Gill in 3:42 and would win following a Moonsault. (D/46) After the match Mike McGuirk met Bigelow in the ring and asked him about his goals here in the WWF. Bigelow stated that he looks to take the WWF by the throat and demolish anyway in his way of getting WWF Gold around his waist. “I am the beast from the east, and I’m gonna feast on all the WWF Superstars!” (D/44) Gene Okerlund is backstage with The British Bulldog & Texas Tornado and they talk about the problems Bulldog has been having with The Genius in the past month and how now Texas Tornado and Terry Funk have gotten involved. So Bulldog tells Genius this “At In Your House this thing between us will end once and for all Genius, I’ll make sure of that.” Then Gene asks Tornado about what’s he looking to do to help out Bulldog. And Tornado says he will be taking Terry Funk out of the picture as he challenges Funk to a match at In Your House and he made that challenge official right now. (B-/73) When the match ends and as Bulldog and Tornado celebrate The Genius would make his way down the walkway with Bulldog and Tornado wondering what he is doing, and then from behind Terry Funk with a cow bell attacks both Bulldog and Tornado. In this one the Mountie would get a run for his money as Koko would get the better of him at times during this one. But in the end The Mountie would hit a Samoan Drop and get the victory. I like Funk vs Von Erich, which should be just a good, old school Texas brawl there. Are Hart and Earthquake faces or heels? Yeah Martel is pretty damn good, just wish he'd get better promo ratings. Funk VS Von Erich is something I always thought about and I am glad I found a way to make it happen.
