This week we come to you from The World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Last Monday night, Triple H made the announcement that the main event for Smackdown this week will feature Roman Reigns as he takes on Big Show and Kane in a handicap match. Will Roman Reigns survive Smackdown this week? He has a date at Fast Lane with Daniel Bryan in a few weeks. -Speaking of Daniel Bryan, the leader of the YES! Movement will be in the building to talk about his victory over Seth Rollins last Monday night. That victory gave him a shot at going to the main event at WrestleMania. But he has to face Roman Reigns at Fast Lane. What will he have to say when we kick off Smackdown with The Beard? -Goldust & Stardust have been having their issues here lately. They have been arguing and losing matches left and right. They have the ability to right the wrongs when they step into the ring with two members of The New Day. Can Kofi Kingston and Big E walk away with the victory tonight? -We will also be seeing two title matches this evening on WWE Thursday Night Smackdown. In one contest, we will see Rusev defend the WWE United States title against R-Truth. Can R-Truth become the first person to defeat Rusev by pinfall or submission? After all, he was the first man to beat Bo Dallas. In the second contest, we see Bad News Barrett put his WWE Intercontinental title on the line against the former Champion Dolph Ziggler. Can the Show-Off regain the title that he says is his or will he receive some bad news from Barrett? -Plus Ryback will be in action against Luke Harper. We have also learned that The Big Guy has a major announcement to make here on Smackdown. What could that announcement be? Make sure you tune in on Smackdown to find out. Speaking of Fast Lane, the music for Daniel Bryan begins in the background and the crowd stands on their feet. 'YES!' chants move throughout The World Arena and Daniel Bryan comes marching down to the ring, slipping inside. He moves to the second turnbuckle and continues the YES chants as they get louder and louder inside this arena. He tells Daniel Bryan that he wants to remind everyone of what happened last year at WrestleMania. Yes, Daniel Bryan captured the WWE World Heavyweight title and that was admirable. However, his client ended the longest running streak in sports entertainment history when he became the one in twenty-one and one. He said he wants to remind Daniel Bryan that Brock Lesnar is still the conquerer and the beast incarnate. So in actuality what Roman Reigns did this past Monday night was not to give Daniel Bryan a chance to main event WrestleMania. It was to give Roman Reigns an opportunity to bow out of the main event at WrestleMania. He says that Roman Reigns made the decision to put his title shot on the line because at the end of the day he knows that he cannot beat the Conquerer. He knows, like Daniel Bryan knows and like all these people in Colorado Springs knows that no one is going to end the World title reign of Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania or any time. Why? Because Brock Lesnar is unstoppable. Heyman tells Mr. Bryan that he is a great athlete. As a matter of fact they have worked together in the past. Heyman says that he might go so far as to say that Daniel Bryan at one point in his career was a Paul Heyman Guy. But Paul Heyman promises that after WrestleMania, Brock Lesnar will still be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Daniel Bryan gets back on the microphone and states that he knows that his next two matches are David vs. Goliath matches. He says that he knows that no one expects him to be able to beat Roman Reigns, let alone Brock Lesnar. However, he says that he has made a living off proving people wrong. He says he will continue to do that. Heyman shrugs and says that Daniel Bryan is living in a fantasy world because the reality is that Brock Lesnar is an unstoppable force of nature. And he is going to turn Daniel Bryan's dreams into a nightmare. Good day, sir. Heyman turns and exits the ring but Bryan asks one more question before he goes. Bryan asks the audience if they feel that Daniel Bryan can beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. The YES chants are loud in the arena as Heyman continues his way to the back. Ziggler starts the match off strong against Barrett, using his considerable skill to keep Barrett off his game and on the mat. Ziggler hits an early famouser for a two count. The momentum switches when Ziggler goes for the Zig Zag but Barrett just holds on to the top rope and Ziggler hits the back of his head on the mat. A couple of signs go up, reading: '#PushBarrett!' and '#BNB!' Barrett traps Ziggler in the ropes and catches him with a big boot before playing to a booing crowd. Barrett tosses Ziggler outside the ring and then runs him right into the ring post. He walks over to a couple of fans who have signs up reading: 'Attention! If anyone wants a boyfriend for Valentine's Day...' and then beside that one: '...I'm afraid we've got some Good News!' He laughs at the fan and grabs the signs ripping them apart. The match returns back in the ring and Barrett catches Ziggler with a Winds Of Change for a two count. He goes for the Wasteland but Ziggler reverses it into a DDT! The crowd pops as both men lie on the mat. A series of chain wrestling occurs with both men getting opportunities to hit their finishers but neither man can seem to strike at the right time. Ziggler gets Barrett in a corner and comes flying in with a corner splash but Barrett moves and Ziggler's height on the splash has his head striking the ring post! Ziggler staggers and Barrett brings him right into the Bull Hammer! Ziggler is slowly pulling himself up when Dean Ambrose comes sliding into the ring behind Barrett! Ambrose grabs the belt from Barrett and Barrett looks shocked -- Superkick from Ziggler! He turns and staggers -- Dirty Deeds by Ambrose! Barrett is planted into the mat and Ambrose looks at the Intercontinental title belt for a moment with a wide smile. Ryback ducks a discus lariat attempt by Harper and shows his absolute power by lifting Harper and slamming him down with a press slam! Ryback yanks Harper to his feet and sends him to the ropes -- Spinebuster! He lifts Harper up and onto his shoulder -- running powerslam! Ryback moves into a corner and begins rolling his shoulder. The crowd begins the 'Feed Me More' chant as Ryback waits for Harper to get to his feet. When Harper does and turns -- Meat Hook Clothesline! Ryback says that he knows that the biggest dog in this yard right now is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. That's the way it's always been. Reigns starts off the match strong, knowing he has to strike first and quick to try to end the match quickly and he tries just that by hitting both Big Show and Kane with Superman Punches! He scores a two count on Kane but Kane manages to kick out before the three. Reigns brings down Kane with a clothesline and then releases a mighty roar as a couple of signs are raised in the crowd: '[picture of Roman Reigns head on Big Gay Al's body] Roman's super, thanks for asking!' and 'Kane and Show: Welcome to the 20th Century!' Reigns catches Kane with a pair of big boots and then bounces off the ropes -- Leaping Clothesline -- Kane ducks and Reigns crashes to the mat. The momentum switches at this point with Kane and Big Show using frequent double teams on Roman Reigns. Of course, Reigns has no one to tag with so he is stuck in the ring with Show and Kane. Show catches Reigns with an inverted legdrop bulldog and scores a two count as Reigns kicks out. Show puts Reigns on the ground in the middle of the ring and locks on a camel clutch. Show cries out a war cry and stretches back, putting a lot of pressure on the back of Reigns. The crowd tries to rally Roman Reigns back into the match. He uses that momentum to pull himself up, showing a ton of power as he lifts Show on his back and then drops backward, sending them both crashing to the mat.] [Not all the fans here in Colorado Springs are fans of Roman Reigns, though. Some signs go up, including 'I hate Roman Reigns,' 'Reigns Cheated to win the Rumble' and 'Number 1 Kane mark!' Speaking of Kane, Big Show tags in the Authority's Favorite Demon. Kane comes in and takes a few shots from Roman Reigns as he gets that second wind. He catches Kane with a spinning bulldog and scores a two count but the pinfall is broken up by Big Show. Big Show catches Reigns with a headbutt but a punch is blocked by Reigns! Reigns fires back with punches to Big Show and then a clothesline over the top rope. Reigns turns back to Kane and then drops down, elevating Kane over the top rope and onto Big Show! Reigns pounds his chest in the middle of the ring. Reigns points toward a sign reading: 'What spear does Roman use on the ladies?' Then he points toward the WrestleMania sign. Kane climbs on the apron and Reigns yanks him in the ring. Reigns catches Kane with a short-arm clothesline before dropping him down on the bottom rope. Reigns exits the ring and ducks a clothesline by Big Show -- Running Dropkick to the head of Kane! Big Show climbs on the apron and tags himself in. Kane rolls out of the ring as Reigns comes in with Big Show. Show goozles Reigns but Reigns fights his way out of it! He strikes Show with the Superman Punch and then backs up. He roars and waits for Show to get to his feet -- SPEAR! Show gets speared out of his boots! He looks with disgust down at Roman Reigns and then helps Big Show up to his feet. Kane pulls Reigns up slightly and Big Show curls his fingers into a fist -- Knockout Punch to Roman Reigns! Reigns crumples to the mat and then Daniel Bryan's music begins to play. Out from the back comes The Beard with a chair in hand! He slides in the ring and begins swinging wildly for the fences! He connects with Big Show! He connects with Kane! Two more chair shots to Big Show send the giant over the top rope to the floor. Kane moves in for Daniel Bryan and Bryan swings the chair -- Kane moves and the chair shot hits Roman Reigns in the skull! The crowd is shocked as Reigns drops to the mat. Daniel Bryan looks shocked! Kane brings down Daniel Bryan with a clothesline. He raises his arms and brings them down, sending fire burning from all four corners. Do you remember what happened to John Cena at SummerSlam? Do you remember Brockanomics? John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler Comments: As much as I'm not a Cena fan, Zig-Zag hasn't been getting the push here, and WWE needs faces. Gold & Stardust vs. The Lucha Dragons Comments: We're headed towards a breakup angle, and I think losing is the best way to head towards that Curtis Axel vs. Zack Ryder Comments: #Axelmania has more momentum than Ryder, and you can believe that. Brie Bella vs. Paige Comments: I mark out for page WWE World Heavyweight Title Match Brock Lesnar defends vs. Ryback Comments: Feed... Brock... More Talented Workers... Fun Fan Signs: Comments On Last Show: Momentum and Skill seem to be headed opposite ways -- and with the ME rating, I'm guessing either the Big Slow or Kane has hit the time decline wall. The overall rating had to be a huge disappointment. I'm guessing this will be a B+ show providing either Cena-Ziggler or Bryan-Cesaro is the main event, with Lesnar-Ryback as the semi-main.... Always good to see the belt go up on TV, ratings-wise and promo-wise...
