Regal and his now former employer, the most powerful man in wrestling, Vince McMahon, shared a hug as Regal's long tenure at World Wrestling Entertainment seemed set to come to an end. Regal then opened the glass door of Vince's office and soon found himself standing outside of WWE Headquarters. He looked up at the building one last time, before turning away and heading for his car. He had a lot to do.

Over the next few weeks, Regal began his preparation. For 28 years Regal had made his name in professional wrestling, he had wrestled all over the world and loved every second of it. But now, it was time for him to give back to the industry. In his home-away-from-home Georgia, Regal established the Dynasty Wrestling Federation. A company built to develop the new stars of the wrestling business and prepare them for the big time. To ensure he didn't become side-tracked, Regal set out a list of "golden" rules for the company.

Rules of the Dynasty Wrestling Federation

1. The Dynasty Wrestling Federation is not allowed to prevent a worker from moving to a bigger company on a written deal.

2. The Dynasty Wrestling Federation may sign workers to Exclusive Pay Per Appearance deals, to protect their popularity and health.

3. The Dynasty Wrestling Federation may only sign workers at the age of 25 years and younger, they do not need to release them after they have advanced past this age, as they will be considered "home grown" talent.

4. The Dynasty Wrestling Federation may sign one worker over the age of 25 years per month to a Single Appearance Deal, that worker must then be used to put someone over.

5. The Dynasty Wrestling Federation will not deny any specific style of wrestler, the company is looking to develop a multicultural roster with a diverse range of talents.

LOL! Also, read his book... I'd say he didn't enjoy EVERY second of his wrestling career

That said, good luck with this. I'm certainly interested in seeing who you've got on your roster. Shame you can't have Rhino show up and gore everyone, but I like the rules other than that

I've updated the earlier post to include the DWF's Roster, it has come to my attention that some of the members of my roster [*Cough* Blade Hart *Cough*] aren't actually wrestlers in real life. I am going to continue on as if they are real wrestlers.

DWF Collateral Damage

Held in the Central Florida Fairground,

Orlando Florida to a crowd of 2000 people.

The DWF's first event kicks off with the commissioner himself, Darren Regal. The experience vet is dressed in a black suit, smiling as he makes his way down to the ring whilst being greeted with a rather large pop from the 2000 fan strong crowd.

Once in the ring, Regal receives a microphone and prepares to address the crowd.

Darren Regal: Hello ladies, gents, and welcome to the very first event of the Dynasty Wrestling Federation!

Tonight we will be beginning the hunt to determine our very first World Heavyweight Champion! Starting tonight, 4-man mini-tournament will be taking place, to put it simply, we will see one of the first round matches tonight, one of the first round matches will take place next week and then the two winners of those first round matches will battle it out to become the inaugural Dynasty Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion!

So, without further ado, let's get this show on the road. The four men in this tournament are... Adam Jenkins...Nick Buck...Rick Swan and-

Before Regal can finish speaking, he is interrupted by the sound of static. Regals looks on in confusion as a pre-taped video is played.

The video shows Alistair Shaw, outfitted in a plain black jacket. He can be seen in a locker room, but the area is empty. Alistair is lacing his boots, just finishing tying a knot. He then looks up to the camera and smiles.

Alistair Shaw: Hello there Mr Regal, I expect you have noticed by now that I'm not currently at the arena. And although I am...deeply...sorry for that, I had more important matters to deal with. You see, I am currently working for more companies than just yours Mr Regal and well... Your company doesn't exactly take priority.

But don't fear, I will be back for next week, in the meantime giving the crowd the opportunity to even see me is sure to make up for the fact that the only reason they came is to see me wrestle. Apologies to all I've let down, but well, I'm busy.

With that, the video cuts out and a seething Regal is left in the ring. He exits the ring and walks backstage, a look of disdain on his face as we prepare for the first match of the night.

Normal Singles Match

A battle between two men with wrestling running through their blood, Axel Dieter looks the better throughout most of this match and finally puts away Blade Hart with an Enzuiguri.

As Axel celebrates, he is oblivious to the emergence of Wrath from backstage. Wrath slowly walks to the ring, eventually catching the attention of Axel.

Axel looks at Wrath, who is staring with cold eyes straight at him. Wrath arrives to the ring, climbs the apron and enters over the ropes, before coming face to face with Axel.

A few moments pass before Wrath suddenly launches a punch at Axel, stunning him. He continues his barrage of blows, before whipping him into the ropes and connecting with a big boot. He finishes the beat down by clutching him by the throat and hitting a huge Chokeslam.

Normal Singles Match

A tight match, Von Erich and Dunne give it their all to make an impact on the first DWF event and both were able to get a good amount of offence in before Von Erich was able to force a submission with the Iron Claw.

Post-match, Von Erich refuses to let go of the Iron Claw, it takes a host of referees and road agents to get him to finally comply. Just as he appears to be done, he attacks Dunne one last time, putting in a few stomps, before being dragged away by officials.

Normal Singles Match - Winner advances to DWF Championship Tournament Finals

Adam Jenkins and Nick Buck gave it their all in this one, with the chance of becoming the DWF Champion in sight. There were points where Nick Buck looked close to ending it, but Jenkins just wouldn't allow it. The end finally came when Buck went for a clothesline that was ducked by Jenkins, Buck rebounded off the ropes and ran straight into a Superkick from Jenkins, earning him the pinfall.
