- Kana's ring name in WWE is 'Asuka' (thumbs up for original Japanese naming, WWE!)

- Kenny King left TNA and returned to ROH

- A rumour emerged that Jushin Liger may have more dates with WWE, so I would add him as a PPA just in case

- Alex Riley could be out until mid2016-late2016

Thanks for these, although in the list above I have already called Kana "Asuka" in NXT. Please read the list people asked me to keep as that would make things easier and helps me not duplicate things I've already done. :)

2001: Retold

 

This is the saved file layout that will be in the all new Kyky pack for the 2001 data once it is completed. It looks tidier I think. So far over 1000 pictures done, however that only equates to about 300 workers being completed so there is a long way to go.

Dragon Gate notes, all taken from iheartDG's report on today's show.

 

- Shingo's new unit is called VerseK.

- VerseK contains Naruki Doi, Shingo Takagi, YAMATO, Mondai Ryu, Cyber Kong, Kotoka & Mondai Ryu. Eita has been kicked out.

- Eita is back to being called Eita Kobayashi.

- T-Hawk definitely in Monster Express now.

 

Also, not that it can really be put into TEW but Dr Muscle and Metal Warrior are back, they absconded with Mr.QQ after his match today. Odds are QQ will be in VerseK by the end of the month.

 

EDIT: Andy Wu is also the Wrestle-1 Cruiserweight Champion, beating Minoru Tanaka who was making his sixth defence of the belt.

Another one is Manabu Soya appears to be the W-1 Heavyweight champion.

 

Done.

 

I also heard that Wrestle-1 are bringing back the UWA World Trios title in October so added that with it's various lineages. I'm not adding the F-1 Tag titles though as they are a comedy belt and I can't find a proper history for them anyway.

 

To be honest, unless anything major happens I am still on course for releasing this on time.

 

 

EDIT: The new logo pack is coming along nicely too. Over 200 logos in it for various promotions in this mod and many others.

Thanks for the feedback on GFW. I've never seen the Bollywood Boys, Virgil Flynn or Los Luchas and had no time to watch any of their matches so that's why they aren't in. I figured people would rather have an October update than wait for another month while I find time to research and add 5 wrestlers, that's my excuse on those... however I have no excuse on the others, I can only say I must have had a funny 5 minutes thinking I'd added them already. I'm going to have to suggest for now that people use your list to update their own individual databases as I've no idea when I'm next releasing an update. Be aware though that GFW will then promptly sack workers on day 1 if you're playing as someone else.

 

Keep any mistakes you find coming though as there will be another release, just no date on which month. :)

I'd argue that the Dudleys should be on writtens with WWE (maybe 6 or 9 months). Probably Sting, too, though an argument could be made regarding his injury. Thoughts on LU being a touring company?

I was thinking of LU being a touring promotion, however it doesn't work the same as you can't have a promotion touring for more than a set number of months (5 I think) and LU run from January to August (TV time) if last seasons timescales are used. I'd ideally only want LU running those months, but what I thought to do is a "mid season break" so it's 2 lots of 4 months (Jan-April, May break, June-Sept with Oct, Nov, Dec not touring). Then I realised it also means they will do actual tours instead of TV shows which again, they don't do and this is why I stuck with them being a full time promotion.

 

I'm loving this update, I just thought I'd point out tho that you have Braun Strowman set to be called Braun Stowman on his WWE Contract. I'm Loving All The New Pics :)

Something that wrestling fans and mod makers should keep an eye on. Bruce Tharpe, the president of the NWA, met with Spike TV officials to bring the NWA onto their network. Nothing done yet, but it's a possibility. The upsides, the NWA is not TNA, has a recognizable brand, and they don't have Vince Russo. The downsides are that TNA wants to try to get other sports first and they said that they want to get more programming that appeals to women.

Awesome Mod!!!

 

Thank you so much for creating this mod, it makes the game so much fun. It's greatly appreciated and I swear by your roster updates.

 

One note, not really a big note, but a note, New Jack has unretired... Not sure if he's actually working anywhere yet.
