why are Andrew Everett, Brian Myers & Trevor Lee under contract with TNA they haven't worked for them in months.

Everett actually signed a contract with TNA before he blew out his knee.

Thanks everyone for all the feedback and needed fixes (too lazy to multi quote today). I shall take a look at getting them all fixed.

Idolized, would you mind me using those pictures in the official picture pack as replacements?

Absolutely not, go ahead and use any pics I post.

- Sami Callihan has been advertised by Combat Zone Wrestling to appear at the Cage of Death show later this month. He should definitely be added to that promotion, it seems like that is his home promotion.

- According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Randy Orton will have neck surgery following the shoulder surgery and could be out for over a year after he gets neck surgery. His shoulder surgery is going to keep him out for three months or so, and then a year on top of that for the neck surgery. Perhaps have Orton out for like 13 months or so?

Apparently according to Wikipedia, Portia Perez retired back in October.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portia_Perez

On October 10, 2015, Perez announced she would be forced to retire from professional wrestling due to a major neck injury that required surgery. She wrestled her final match at the following day's Shimmer tapings, where she, Nicole Matthews, Kimber Lee and Lacey were defeated by Daizee Haze, Kellie Skater, Lexie Fyfe and Madison Eagles.

Some Japan news...

- Go Shiozaki and Kotaro Suzuki both left All Japan around the end of November. Go Shiozaki has returned to NOAH and is feuding with Suzuki-gun. Kotaro is mainly doing freelance work at the moment.

- Yoshinobu Kanemaru will also be leaving All Japan at the end of December. He has said he will not be resigning and will become a free agent.

- Akebono has also left All Japan, he even gave up his office position. Although it is said he may come back to do a few freelance dates. Perhaps a PPA deal for him in the January update with a special attraction clause in the contract?

- All Japan is also hurting financially. The company has been on a downward spiral when it comes to money, with a lot of the bigger names leaving as a result.

- The AJPW Junior Heavyweight title should be set to vacant following Kotaro Suzuki leaving the promotion. The AJPW World Tag Team should be set to vacant following Go Shiozaki leaving the promotion.

- Kento Miyahara & Suwama won the World's Strongest Tag Team League for AJPW on December 6, 2015. Jun Akiyama & Takao Omori won the tournament in 2014.

Here are some TV Network cuts, the networks are not yet added or are using old logos:

One last thing about CMLL Fleisch, Jushin Thunder Liger and Tanahashi aren't there doing regular shows anymore.

A player (and AI) can easily get them loaned.

Mascara Dorada will be on a tour with NJPW I think, so you can keep him in a ppa with NJPW/CMLL.

Eletric Appliance bringing his awesome cuts. Most of these will be put to use in the updated Lucha scene, hopefully.

From left to right:

Kamaitachi (unmasked), Mr. Niebla (current gimmick, comedy rudo), Dragon Lee (new gimmick), BUSHI (new entrance attire, could be used as an alt for Tetsuya Naito as well since he is know for using the same entrance attire sometimes), BUSHI (current attire), Mistico (Dragon lee I), Caristico (OG Mistico), EVIL (AKA Takaaki Watanabe)

AJ Styles has been pulled from the latest NJPW tour due to a lengthy injury (herinated disk). Furthermore, his match with Shinsuke Nakamura for the IWGP Intercontenental Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 9 has been canceled.

Source: Wrestle Insider

Also, he is not officially on contract to ROH or NJPW, so I would take both off of him, until he signs a contract. Rumours are he is NXT bound. Some even say he could go back to TNA for Angle's retirement.

New Japan's last known official statement has him wrestling Shinsuke at WK10 - great source there if they can't even get the right event. He was pulled from the Tag League to give him some time to recover from the injury.

Furthermore he's scheduled to face Jay Lethal at Final Battle. Removing him from his RoH and NJPW deals would be ridiculous. Might as well remove Michael Elgin from RoH as well because he doesn't have an official contract despite #BigMike being heavily pushed in RoH.

And no way in hell AJ trades everything in RoH and NJPW to go back to TNA after the way things went down financially. What do TNA have to offer him that RoH/NJPW don't?

Just read that a few Tough Enough competitors have either made a debut or gotten a new name.

Josh Bredl is going by Bronson Mathews

Amanda Saccomanno is going by Mandy Rose

Daria Berenato made her debut but have not seen a new name for her.

Notes from the wrestler observer:

>While the [New Japan G1 Tag League] tag team tournament in recent years hasn’t been that big of a deal, this year’s tournament saw more signs and the Jim Crockett Promotion pattern continues. Essentially, Jim Crockett Promotions was on fire in 1985 and 1986, at one point increasing annual attendance from 800,000 to 1.9 million in one year. They were loaded with standout performers, but for a number of reasons, going with a pat hand too long being one of them (they also had repetitive badly booked finishes and hot shotted angles, neither of which is an issue here), things went down in 1987. Now that isn’t to say that they are going down the tubes and being sold next year. But the matchmaking and storylines are far less interesting going into the Dome as it has been since the company started its turnaround. It’s very clear the excitement level of 2012 to 2014, when the company tripled business behind an incredible crew of performers, has waned, and attendance since the summer has noticeably declined.

>The tournament finals in Sendai, drew 2,291 fans, by far the lowest attendance for a New Japan tag team tournament final in history. The biggest show of the tour, on 12/6 at the Aiichi Ken Gym in Nagoya, drew 5,500 fans, which was the company’s smallest crowd as far back as I can remember (and that would go back to the 70s) in that arena. Most of the shows were sellouts, but they also booked most shows in barely 1,000 seat buildings.

>The company has not said anything about ticket sales for the Tokyo Dome, while the past three years by this point had talked about how sales were ahead of previous years.

Should NJPW lose a bit of pop?

CMLL news!

>[CMLL] announced that wrestlers from New Japan would be coming in as regulars (Kamaitachi is leaving and the obvious person or persons to replace him would be either Sho Tanaka or Yohei Komatsu) and also announced what we’ve already reported that Mascara Dorada comes back full-time in February. While nobody has outright said this, there are a number of indications and from the reaction in New Japan, that they believed they were getting La Sombra as a full-timer to replace Mascara Dorada, which is why they were so surprised about his signing with WWE.

Kamaitachi would probably be going back to NJPW, Sho and Yohei are coming to CMLL.

Triple A

>Bad news is that after working far more than he has in years over the past eight months, Rey Mysterio Jr.’s knee is in bad shape.

Indeed he was pulled from a couple shows. He seems to be injured.

A new Japanese wrestling promotion set to debut!

>Akebono announced that he would be starting his own promotion, called Oudou. He said that Motoko Baba would be a major financial backer of his project and mentioned Taiyo Kea (the last protEgE of Giant Baba) and Bob Sapp as names he’s going to use. He made it clear that he’s not in competition with All Japan, that he would still work there as a non-contract wrestler in the future

Tommy Dreamer's contract status:

>Dreamer will be working regularly at house shows starting shortly, as he’s booked on the 12/19 show in Los Angeles at the Forum, and weekend house show runs through 1/17. It’s a part-time gig and he’s still going to be running his own indie shows, with the next one being a 4/16 date at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia

So PPA?

Daria wrestled the Largo house show against Nia Jax. She's definitely using an MMA gimmick, and no they haven't given her a name yet.

I had planned on working on Chronicles this weekend but Ive somehow damaged my acl so with the pain its difficult to concentrate or sit at the PC. I probably won't get anything done this week but thought I'd keep you guys up to date as it may not be out on the first of January as planned.

Oh man, that's no bueno. :( Hope you get to feeling better, and don't worry about updating Chronicles right away. I'm having fun as is with the December update, as evidenced by the dynasty I recently started. If it tells you anything, I already have both the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania pre-booked. :D
