Antonin
One of the most fun things about this game is managing minutes in-game. Does anyone know if player fatigue carries over from game to game? If you have a 30-31 year old player consistently playing 40+ minutes a game, is it beneficial to sit him in the 4th quarter from time to time? Bret Carver
I can't say for sure because I haven't tracked the numbers but I think it does. I played a league where I set the game minutes very high to for heavy use of the bench and I noticed that players that played a LOT of minutes in one game fatigued out quicker and/or were less effective if playing the next day. A single day of rest seems to usually be sufficient though and I didn't see much if any effect in the team had a day off between games.
Antonin
Thank you, Bret! I love this game, and I try to manage my Cleveland Cavaliers the way the team is being managed in real life, giving rest to key players in the weeks before the playoffs. I *hope* there is fatigue carryover. That would be a very welcome element of realism.
