Finisher chains give greater chance to win

I just hit a Moonsault With Chair through a Table, then nailed a Glittering Magician Knee. What's the advantage of that? I might as well have tried for the pin after the first finisher, because I'm only going to get the benefit of the most recent move.

Or, somehow more spectacularly, I've chained three finishing submissions in a row while the ref is down, and I know if I go for the pin after it, I'm not going to get any real bonus aside from the last move.

We've historically seen a few times where a guy will hit his finisher in succession or otherwise do two really big moves in a row to really put a guy down; in this game, there's tactically no reason (aside from momentum/damage benefits, but that's true of any move).
