A hand-held camera starts up, the date reads 01/01/97. The camera fumbles around until it is placed on a desk, positioned facing someone. The camera faces:

J.K. Stallings Jr.

Umm, hi, my name is.. my name is J.K. Stallings Jr. and I think you already know that though.

At just 16 years of age, J.K.'s lack of speaking skills are quite apparent.

Come this Tuesday... well, tomorrow, there will be another episode of our new TV Show, HGC Hollyweird TV. Oh and I should mention that our company HGC stands for Hollyweird Grappling Company. I created HGC to.. well, um, fulfill a dream I've always had, to run a wrestling company. That being said, why am I recording this, you ask? Well... I wanted a way to remind myself, when I'm old how great every step of the way was. Anyways, if you aren't me, well you must be very important..or I'm, uh, dead, I guess. Oh well, I'll, um... yeah, see you later, I guess..

The camera turns off

OOC: Well, here we go! My second attempt at a dynasty and a sure different approach from my original. Before anyone says anything I wanted to say it first, my current style is a lot like Everyone Knows by Phantom Stranger, so if you want to read something like this, be sure to check his out!

The camera flips on

J.K. is backstage at HGC Hollyweird TV. He monologues about how this is his dream and mentions that this is the first time he has been backstage at the TV show and has overseen the last 4 shows from his home. All of a sudden a burly, 50 year old man walks into the picture:

Sam Strong

Wrestling Legend

STRONG: Hey kid, I heard you're looking for HGC's first world champion, well, I'm the best you've got! When do I get the belt?

J.K.: Well, not so fast Sam, I know how much you've done in this business and I.. um.. want to test the water more. I want to see what the other guys I have, I guess.

STRONG: C'mon kid, you know you ain't got nobody that can hold this company like I can! Name one, ONE person, who could do my job!

J.K.: Rip Chord.

STRONG: Uhh, no, you wouldn't want your world champion to be that asshole!

J.K.: Sam! Rip's just as much of a legend as you are.

STRONG: I can understand that, but Rip has a little known... uhh, mean streak backstage.

J.K.: Really? Anytime I've talked to Rip he's been really cool.

STRONG: He's trying to get into your head, trying to gain your trust and then manipulate ya!

J.K.: Oh wow, I never thought of him like that, thanks Sam, but I gotta get going!

STRONG: Just remember I'm a REAL world champion!

J.K. keeps walking towards his office at The V. Thompson Arena in California. He turns the corner and see's:

Demon Anger

One Half of The Demons of Rage

Being attacked by:

Giant Redwood

Big Mean Dude

J.K.: WOAH! WOAH! WOAH! GUYS! GUYS!

Many security guards pull the two apart and Anger explains that Redwood started an arguement with him and then attack him when he started to win. Redwood is taken into J.K.'s office afterwards to talk about the incident.

J.K.: I know what happened Redwood and I'm not mad. I'm just confused. You were losing an argument so you attack a co-worker?

REDWOOD:.....

J.K.: So, you're not going to talk, that's fine. I just don't want to see it again, ok?

REDWOOD: Whatever.

Redwood left the office and J.K. made his way to the booking team and looked at the run down for tonight's show.

OOC: Here's the matches on our first episode of Hollyweird TV. You guys know the drill:

Liberty vs BLZ Bubb

The Demons of Rage vs The Spirit Warriors

Electrico vs Dread

Charlie Homicide vs Sam Strong

Rip Chord vs Larry Vessey

As always, thanks for reading!

Regarding the HGC logos, other than HollyweirdTV and the Hollyweird PPV, all of their events are the same as TCW. As far as I know, no one ever made HGC specific event logos. But, someone did make a HollyweirdTV logo.

Thanks Jaysin, this is a huuuuuge help!

I am mostly using TCW logos because I have it set up as my main brand. However, I have some rendered character pics if you'd like. Here's the link to my thread

Feel free to use whatever you like. I am currently away so not having enough time to predict your cards, but I'm following this closely.

New reader here. I like the format of this one. I wish you the best of luck with this diary!

Romeo Heartthrob vs Dusty Streets

Comments: Romeo definitely has this win under wraps. He's working a program with Sam Strong, so he needs to look good

Joel Bryant vs Jason Jackson

Comments: It's Joel, nuff said

Ramon Paez vs Richie Pangrazzio Jr.

Comments: Richie has a lot more going on than Ramon

The Blazing Flames vs The Untouchables

Comments: Just a toss up tbh

Charlie Homicide vs Liberty

Comments: Definitely a tough one but I have to go with Liberty. Both are on losses though so anything could happen. Actually, I'm calling a DQ victory on Liberty due to Rip interference

Sam Strong vs Dread

Comments: Sam Strong isn't putting Dread over, much less on free TV, in this point of his career

(BONUS PRE SHOW MATCH: The Hype vs DARK Eagle)

Comments: I smell a big "The Hype" push

ROMEO: What's that Sam? Come Malice in Wonderland, you're going to get your ass beat like the hasbeen you are? Why, that's correct. I'm pleasantly surprised someone of your IQ actually new that. Come Malice, I'm not going to throw everything at you. Why? because I don't need to. When you're as good in the ring and in the bedroom as Romeo Heartthrob, you can get away with just goin 50%! Now, if you'd get out of my ring, I have a match to win.

Dusty Streets vs Romeo Heartthrob

This was a solid way to start the show. The two veterans of the square circle went hold for hold, with Heartthrob obviously leading the bout, until Romeo locked in Cupid's Clutch to pick up the submission victory.

Joel Bryant vs Jason Jackson

This match wasn't one of flashy moves or high flying antics, but one of pure mat wrestling excellence. The two young workers push each other to to the limit with the counter for counter style. The match comes to a close when Joel hits Jackson with a One Shot Drop in 9:46.

A video plays promoting Dread showing his past championship wins and many squash style victories. The announcers make sure to put over the point of reminding us that this is what Richie Pangrazzio Jr. wants to face goes Malice.

Liberty and Homicide both fight this match like it's a must win and in some ways it is. Charlie comes at Liberty with his wildman swinging style. Liberty takes advantage of this and uses a missed right hook to hit a Liberation Slam to pick up the 1,2,3!

Dread vs Sam Strong

This is one hell of a fight between figureheads of HGC. Any time Sam seems to get any offense, it seems to have no affect on the unstoppable Dread. Dread finally begins to close in on Sam and seems to be looking for the win, but Sam begins to Bulk Up. Strong goes on a warpath, shrugging off shots that would knock a regular man out cold. This encounter ends with Strong hitting the Strong Arm Tactic for the win in 16:22.

After the match, Sam Strong celebrates in the ring, until Dread gets back to his feet and attacks the winner. This continues for around 2 minutes until Romeo Heartthrob runs out and helps 2 on 1 Sam. The duo of Dread and Heartthrob pummel Strong...... until Richie Pangrazzio makes the save! He charges down to the ring, clotheslining Dread over the top rope and sending Romeo running. Richie helps Sam to his feet and the two walk to the back to close out the show.
