Modern Warriors 5 (RW Mod)

Recommended Posts

<p>Ive been tweaking the Modern Warriors 5 database. Mainly updating fight records and events. I've realized its very difficult to accurately create fighters. My update would include Brock and GSP if anyone is interested (I just unretired them from the database and kept their previous ratings).</p><p> </p><p>

If anyone is willing to collab and create accurate fighters like TUF 23 contestants and the newly added UFC fighters, hit me up</p>

<p>I've created a few fighters (71, now), mostly from Rizin and guys who fought in old WSOF events and weren't in the game. Still have to play the MW5 mod with them, but i don't think they are too OP.</p><p> </p><p>

Maybe we could try to make a community mod or something.</p>

but i don't think they are too OP.

Maybe we could try to make a community mod or something.

Though a community mod is probably our best bet, wouldn't it be more prudent to put someone in charge of statistics? I've worked on databases for other games and every time assigning stats induces numerous discussions. And that was for games with a LOT more data available than MMA, which basically has 2 fights a year you can analyse. But maybe that's a boon in this case as there's little ground for objection. In any event we should have a discussion forum for stats.

I'm dying to play a historic mod that begins somewhere at 100 and has all current fighters debuting later. But that's a different project. Maybe we can make a community mod for that. At least we don't have to move up the starting date, which is a plus.

I suggest someone to act as the lead man for statistics for major organisations and someone for the lesser organisations. If there's a lot of interest, we could divide it into weight classes. Members should freely contribute bios and some testers need to check for balance issues. Unfortunately I won't volunteer for anything given my limited knowledge of MMA (casual fan here).

Is it possible add Finnish MMA promotion Cage and some fighters, or only fighters? There is many fighters who's not in the game, but are popular in Finland (and some of them have been fighting in Asia, other european promotions etc.) like, Janne Eronen-Kulmala, Rafael Domingos, Mikael Nyssönen, Aleksi Toivonen, Glenn Sparv etc.

Could you kindly advise me which files I should put where?

Sorry, so many WMMA files floating around in my download folder I just want to make sure I'm replacing the right ones with the right ones.

The best way to do this is to make a new folder. Go to edit database, and create a database.

Extract the rar file into a new folder so you don't mix the databases up. Copy and paste the two folders into the new database, MW5 into databases and Jipper into pictures.

A few things i noticed and had to write here before finishing adequating the fighters i created.

-Rena, Kyra Batara and Angela Lee might be a little bit too strong. Mostly of the girls i created, actually. The problem is that the women might be underrated or they need to be updated. Maybe i'm evaluating them wrong, idk.

-Ryo Hatta appears to be too strong too...

-Does King Mo really have crappy sub defense? He keeps losing to Aukstuolis by Sub... Is it really a 35 top/30 bottom?

Also, Hideo Tokoro should really have a Loves to Strike attribute? The two fights i watched from him were all on the ground, mostly.

Another thing, Demetrious Johnson should have better takedown defense, i think. He keeps losing to Henry Cejudo in the game.

-The best way i found to create fighters was to watch a few fights, create them, put in the game an use the Quick fight mode to see how he does. Then adjust if it's necessary. Mode Maker+ also served as a guideline for attributes.

-I put Mackenzie Dern, Rodolfo Vieira and Tiffany van Soest in the game. As they haven't debuted yet, they might be too strong/weak. I'll update them once they fight.

Anyway, here's the guys i created. If anyone can check them, see if they are good, i'd be glad.

<p>The first one is just the fighters i created (i think it's unplayable, even). In the second, i imported them to the Bigshowcollins update. Besides that, i didn't change anything, not even Unretired Sakuraba and Cro Cop smh...</p><p>

Anyway, when i create more fighter i will update these details.</p>
