in my longest save with WCW, I definitely found a formula that worked on each show. I prebook my PPVs and then had a formula to auto-book (and then slightly edit) the main shows. I was able to start pumping out shows.

Pls do share. I'm always open to new ideas that increase the duration of my saves. Especially since i'm about to undertake a new one.

If TEW 2013 had an auto-booker my game would likely be over 100 years now. I don't want an auto-booker but it's not because of any serious reason, I just won't use one.

I personally like my matches to mean something (especially ad WWE) and an auto booker wouldn't be able to do that. I want to know exactly how everything is set up and why it graded what it did.. could never ever ever use an auto booker feature. The whole reason I play the game is so I can book haha

I may not care what Ryback, Zack Ryder and the Social Outcasts are doing on my roster today, but in six game months time I might have some ideas/direction for them and I want them to stay sharp for now! The less booking I am forced to do for them in those six months, the better my ideas will be for them later. :)

I find these boards to be funny sometimes. Everyone says "We gotta respect the way people play." And that's correct, expect when it comes to the auto-booker, apparently. Sox, your regards seem a bit patronizing. This is a booking simulator which means that having someone book your shows for you is more than reasonable, it's realistic. Especially in big companies. Vince McMahon doesn't book every single segment of the WWE, heck he has writers, a creative team, and so on.

Booking huge companies in TEW becomes a burden for a multitude of reasons. Derek's analogy with the car racing simulator and the gears is perfect, but I'll give you another example, the Football Manager series, where you can go on vacation and skip games, or in this case, "auto-book" them.

If you don't ever want to use such a feature, don't. But please accept that a ton of people want it, not just a "vocal minority" and that you should respect the way they think and the way they want to play the game. People don't want to skip everything, they just want a tool that would help them in a multitude of situations, just like it helped in EWR.

I don't usually use the autobooker, but on tour shows recently I have been. Where there's a midcard heavy roster, I feel booking 4 midcard singles matches usually works out well with the other things I manually book, just helps speed things along a little. I do wish the autobooker was better, in order to full immerse you, but on that view absolutely, first thing I thought was "oh, that's the booking team doing that for me," I like to think it's my good kayfabe friend Nigel Svensson ;)

I was just going to use other sports sims as a comparison. I play Baseball Mogul. I love to build a franchise and create a dynasty. I don't always want to play all 162 games for 20 seasons in order to see it happen.

This can totally be utilized for TEW, especially when their is already a lack of distinction between owner and booker in terms of features. It's not a game breaker for me, but the option to put the pieces in place and let the world unfold sounds like an appealing option.

I think my favorite save from this version was probably my Burning Hammer save in the 1997 mod. I love the way tour shows work in the game and Tadiyuki Kikkawa might be my favorite worker in the world. His 5 year title reign en route to acedom, Elemental II's move to the heavyweight division and all of the awesome tournament booking. I just love BH.
