The Year 2012 has ended on a high note for USPW, but they still aren't making any headway in terms of becoming more than the #3 promotion within the big three. However, they are starting the year off strong by landing a deal with the Arcadia network to air a new USPW show called USPW: Made For Battle. It appears that this will replace the longs standing USPW American Wrestling as USPW are trying to go down a new path. The surprises doesn't stop there as Sam Strong has relieved Shane Sneer of his booking duties replacing him with 22yr old Danny Hart. We don't know if this move will help or hinder USPW, but we will be watching closely.

A Fresh Start

Sam: I'm glad you two could join me. I'm gonna keep this meeting short and to the point. USPW needs something new something different to spark more than just nostalgia. As of right now we are riding on the back of Nicky and god forbids SWF ever offer him more money than I can. We have stars of yesteryear and no one can figure out how to revitalize them. That's where you come in Danny.

Daniel: Well sir, I already have a few ideas in mind and I also have a few people we can target who are great fits for us I think. As long as I can get a few more years out of our guys then we can be in a great place within two years.

Sam: Sounds good Danny. I hired you because even though your young you've been down in the indies since you were 12 and I've heard some good friends of mine compliment your forward thinking on many occasion. Hell, it was Shane's idea to get you in here.

Daniel: Remind me to thank him then.

Alicia: Uh, Dad.

Strong: Oh right, right. Honey, your here because I want our women's division to mean something. We've walked the straight and narrow and that's fine, but the women need something more. I want you to go after Joanne Rodriguez. She is the missing piece we need in order to truly get the women's division off the ground.

Alicia: Dad, we don't need her to get this division moving. If you look at our roster we have Belle Bryden, Raven Robinson, Cherry Bomb....

Strong: I'm gonna stop you right there Alicia. Everyone you named is very talented true, but they're all approaching 40. We need some new blood in the division and I believe it starts with Joanne.

Alicia: Dad, I can get Sara Marie York and use her instead. I think she'd be the better selection.

Strong: That's a great idea. Go after them both.

Alicia: What? Why?

Strong: Alicia, my patience is running thin. You are our most popular female wrestler on the roster if your that intimidated by a woman who has never had a chance in the big time then maybe you should walk a mile in her shoes and go through the indies.

Alicia: Fine, I'll get the job done.

Strong: Thank you. Now Danny I think it's high time we all get to work there's plans to be made.

Daniel: Speaking of plans, how would you feel about getting in the ring one...last...time???

She also uses the fact that she wasn't in the match as proof that she's the real threat. _______________ USPW Television Championship Match Chris Caulfield vs Tribal Warrior(48) This match was really a let down, but the fact that they are both loved by the fans did play a huge part in the tanking of this match. Yet it shouldn't change the opinion as both are decent workers in their own right. However once again this match cannot determine the true value of these two workers. A mediocre match resulting in Andre Jones being crowned the new USPW National Champion.(43) _______________ USPW World Tag Team Championship Match Towers of Power vs Natural Storm A great match for the midcard between two seasoned teams. I'm pretty sure people were expecting James Justice or Tyson Baine to answer the call, but that just won't be the case tonight. Your opponent is the sole reason this company is even in the place it's in. Lets just say that your opponent tonight is HUGE....some may say he's even.....giant. It's begins to work eventually and Champion takes early control. However, Champion could get the big man down and was caught with a vicious clothesline. Now Bruce is in full control throwing the champion around like a rag doll. The fans eventually will Champion to make a comeback against the giant and it appeared the end was near for Bruce. A hawkeye hammer from Champion should have ended the match, but Bruce powered out of the pin. Champion measures Bruce for a second hawkeye hammer, but Persephone grabs his legs distracting both Champion and the ref. It was all the time Bruce needed as he towered over Champion from behind. Champion turns around and is met with a hellacious chokeslam from the 7'4 monster. McFly points at the USPW World Heavyweight title and motions around his waist and this makes the fans completely lose it. McFly is in the land of giants and he plans on ruling it with an iron fist it seems, but he's gonna have to go through Bruce in order to do it. _______________ Overall show grade: 82 Comments: This show was pretty good and is an amazing rating as far as national battles go. I know I threw many off with the last match, but hey I can't have my first show to be full of softballs can I? Very interesting start. I like the idea of Bruce as WHC, but I'm not sure if his first major feud should be McFly who's Canadian in United States Pro Wrestling. (Albeit I'm using Danny Boy, but after my last show he's gone. ) However I can't really rag on you for it, NOTB is a great company to have a working agreement with and it seems like we both will be utilizing their talents to the fullest. I was a bit sloppy with the predictions. Didn't think you'd pull the 2 title switches. I see you really don't like Savage Fury . I'm also a bit jealous about that rating, but you went all out, I've been playing it slow build. Anyways, good stuff, easy to read! Keep it up, friend.

Yeah I'll have to admit I am going all out in order to compete in the national battles. I'm hoping to come in second in order to knock off TCW and steel some of their undercard guys like Sammy Bach and John Anderson. Also with McFly you have to remember he's an SWF alumni and an American. That and the fact that he can still go is why I decided to place him in a big feud right off the bat. It's Sean F'n McFly after all . I do like Savage Fury by the way as they can gain overness based off of their menace alone and I have plans for them trust me. I'm hitting January as hard as I possibly can while adding pieces here and there as long as I have something going for said pieces. Stay tuned though because my next show will be up ASAP.

(Also I need to get back into your dynasty and predict...hopefully I get lucky and get a full sweep huh )

Plans and Goals

Strong: Hey Danny, glad you could meet me here.

Daniel: Anytime Sam, but where's Alicia if ya don't mind me asking.

Strong: My daughter is always fashionably late and I'm pretty sure she's still a bit sour about our last meeting. Anyway, let's get down to business shall we?

Daniel: I'm ready whenever you are.

Strong: Good. Now I must admit I was very surprised at the results of the first show. I gave you free reign in order to see if you had the right mind for the job. Quite honestly, I can't remember the last time we had so much buzz about us. Many people say we were much better than TCW this week and we were scratching at the heels of the SWF. I must say I'm truly impressed.

Daniel: Thank you sir but I can tell by the look on your face there is a nice but coming in.

Strong: Well kid we do have a bit of an issue. How could you book Nicky to lose to Bruce and on free tv no less? That wasn't a smart move by any stretch of the imagination.

Daniel: Can you trust me? I was able to negotiate with Bruce in order to get him to appear on tv more. Many people have deemed him useless and they claim that we're holding a washed up legend with bad knees. In one show I've placed Bruce's name on people's lips and the fact that Nicky wasn't beaten cleanly protects him. Nicky has carried USPW for what the past three years? He deserves a break.

Strong: You may have a point but I still think it was a bad move. Bruce isn't the man he once was.

Daniel: All the more reason to bring in someone like McFly to cover his weaknesses.

Strong: You know what I still can't believe that you were able to pull that off, but this feud with Bruce if successful is sure to raise McFly's profile also.

Daniel: That can only mean better business for us right, but besides all of that how is everything else?

Sam: Well there are a few things I want accomplished. For one, I'm still a firm believer that Jumbo Jackson is a star and I want you to make that a reality. On top of that I need Baine to continue to look strong and maintain the momentum you've generated for him. Everything else I'm pretty sure you can handle it.

Daniel: Well sir I'm not gonna lie and say it doesn't throw a monkey wrench in my plans, but if this is what you want I will do my best to make it happen.

Strong: Well good, keep up the good work. I have to go......and would you look whose walking in.

Alicia: Hey Danny

Daniel: Hey Alicia, nice to see you.

Alicia: Okay so I know I'm in charge of hiring women for the women's division, but the fact that your leaving everything from feuds and such up to me is crazy. I don't think what I have planned is coming off that well.

Daniel: Alicia you have to quite doubting yourself so much. Your smart, very intelligent, and you've grown up around this business. I can tell you that the fans are taking what's going on pretty well and you know that every woman on the roster can deliver. Give it time it's an uphill battle.

Alicia: I guess your right, but it is worrying. I mean all this time and now where supposed to be taken more seriously???

Daniel: Listen, there isn't any women's wrestling revolution. Triple A aren't doing anything of note and don't get me started on the other women's promotions. If we want women's wrestling to be taken seriously then we need to start it right here in USPW.

Alicia: You sound so confident that we can pull it off. You have a lot of faith in this company don't you.

Daniel: No Alicia, I am confident and you and I have faith in you.

(Alicia blushes before grabbing her purse and preparing to leave)

Alicia: Well thank you, and don't get so wrapped in your job that you forget that your a wrestler too ya know.

(With that she leaves and the meeting is over leaving Daniel something to think about.)

(The show kicks off with the announcers speaking on the events of last week and hyping up what's yet to come tonight. The music of Giant Bruce hits and the announcers hype up the new champion.)

Persephone makes her way to the ring with the menacing USPW World champion by her side. The fans boo loudly as they are the duo who cheated Nicky Champion stood proudly in the center of the ring. Persephone belittles the fans in attendance and hypes up the dominance of Giant Bruce. She then rips into Sean McFly even going as far as to calling him a has-been while Giant Bruce laughs with the world title laid gently across his shoulder. Persephone and Bruce leaves as their music hits.

Who Did It?(77)

The announcers quickly snatch the attention away from The Force as they receive news that Nicky Champion was found in a pool of blood. Champion is the actually shown in the parking lot covered in blood with the perimedics arriving on the scene. Champion seems almost lifeless as they load him into the ambulance and the show goes into commercial.

Comments: I know that this angle is a little bit risky and graphic for a promotion like us but it had to be done. I'm pretty sure there are crying children all over the states due to this angle and if so then it's done it's job. Seeing this unfold will be worth it.

Alicia Strong vs Raven Robinson

Comments: It's no surprise that the women of USPW can go and they proved it once again by giving the match of the night so far. It was a great match that saw Raven pick up the win by reversing a Strong Arm Tactic into an Evenflow DDT.(61)

Melody hits the ring in full stride, but Raven quickly rolls under the bottom rope. Melody checks on Alicia before having a short stare down with Raven.

Comments: Well I have to admit that the women had a bit more steam last week than this week, but with Alicia willing to sacrifice herself like that there may be hope yet. I can really see women's wrestling moving to the forefront and hopefully one day I can pull the trigger on them being on before the main event.

Natural Storm vs Savage Fury

Natural Storm and Savage Fury had plenty of back and forth, but it seemed like Natural Storm was going to pull this one out. That's when Akima Brave and Kid Toma rushed in the ring seemingly outta nowhere and start to pound away on the tag team champions. The ref has no choice but to rule the match a dq and declare Natural Storm the winners.(62)

Akima Brave and Kid Toma continue their assault but Tribal Warrior and Java push the two young guns away and the two teams have a stare down. The fans are ready for fist to fly, but now all four men are stomping mud holes into Natural Storm.

Comments: Well, well, well, it looks like I finally found the perfect way to get some new blood penciled in here. Bringing in the Samoan Wildboys isn't a huge move by any means, but if all goes accordingly then they will eventually become much more valuable.

Tyson Baine is shown in a dimly lit room with a red light revealing his face. He stares into the camera intensely with a look of pure rage.

Comments: This thing I have going on between Baine and Enygma has immediately caught on with the fans and it has barely started. This promo will do wonders for this feud and it will breath new life into stale characters.

Andre Jones & T-Rex vs Enygma & James Justice

Comments: I wasn't expecting this match to deliver as well as it did. You just can't discredit the large knowledge that Enygma and Justice posses. The two legends did a good job at making the USPW National champ look good and they made T-Rex look like an absolute beast. It no doubt added greatly to the match as the fans were eating out of the palm of their hands.(65)

Interviewer: You've only been here about a week and yet you are in prime position to go toe to toe with the USPW World champion in Bruce The Giant. Care to elaborate on your plans here in USPW?

McFly: There is absolutely nothing to elaborate on. I came here for one thing and one thing only, and that's the USPW World Heavyweight Championship. The fact that Bruce has to hide behind a woman and dirty tactics is all the proof I need to know I can beat him. He's 7'4 and 600lbs, but he's gonna take a hard fall and an even worse ass whooping.

Comments: McFly did a good job here responding to Persephone and it no doubt has created a lot more buzz for us. I don't know what's going on but a lot of people are just delivering today with ease it seems. I won't complain just as long as we have our name on the tip of peoples tongue, and I'm guessing the profanity may make the little kiddies giggle.

Jumbo Jackson vs Sean McFly

Comments: This match reminded me of exactly why Sean McFly is considered one of the best wrestlers in the world. I'm pretty sure even Jumbo Jackson learned a ton and the two are the same age for crying out loud. Sean McFly's presence will definitely help us in the long run. This is the match of the night and that Sharpshooter McFly slapped on Jackson looked downright brutal.(74)

Sean McFly celebrates his win and notices that Bruce and Persephone are on the stage looking down at him. The two men have a stare off before Bruce begins to clap slowly and Persephone joins him although he claps were accompanied by a disgusted expression.

Comments: These two are destined to do battle and the fact that they haven't laid hands on each other once makes the fans crave it even more. Hell I'm booking it and I can't help but crave this match myself. I may have to listen to Alicia and take a chance to get myself in the ring with one of these legends soon. The eventual match between these two....an instant USPW classic.

Overall Comments: What can I say? Everyone did their parts and although not as good as last week this show was still great. The debut of the Samoan Wildboys went well along with the turn of Savage Fury. The women are slowly picking up steam. Tyson Baine is insane right now in handling his feud with Enygma. Sean F'n McFly....need I say more? If we can keep this momentum then we will no doubt be well on our way to being the #2 promotion and eventually #1.
