Name the ace/figurehead!

Recommended Posts

Some things I think aren't as likely as others for a variety of reasons. Other things seem almost guaranteed to be different, very much in 1-2-3 fashion.

I don't think there's any way Fuyuko Higa becomes the figurehead of 5SSW. I can't see Sakurako Kagawa putting up with Higa's demands (remember, she thinks she's 'the best in the world' judging by her level of egotism) and her personality which tends to lead to negative incidents. Higa gets into a fight with a fan and, in Japan, that would be front page news on like every local media outlet. DEVIL, Yuma, or Megumi make more sense, given how the figurehead position is described (the public face of your company, for better or worse).

I also don't think Sara Marie York will still be in AAA. Unless USPW implodes, that's the natural place for her to turn up. Given the fact that she's also a potential owner (or booker, I forget), I wouldn't be surprised to see her in that capacity somewhere also. But I think she'd be too big a fish in too small a pond to still be in AAA.

I don't think Higa would be figurehead, I said Jippensha would be. For me its a toss up between Maruya and Jippensha with the later just edging it. Nakajima and Karube are heels in 13 so that's why I left them out. It makes more sense to have a face figurehead IMO. As far as AAA is concerned I think Grace Harper, if still working will be to old to be figurehead and Joanne Rodriguez is more likely to jump to USPW having higher star quality, being older and probably still more over than York. All options are viable though, I can't wait to see who is. :D

Can non or retired wrestlers be figureheads? I wasn't positive on that.

Canadian Golden Combat: Gargantuan

So...did all the Decolt brothers retire and Trent Shaffer go to the USA?

Gargantuan is my favorite wrestler on CGC, but isn't well-rounded enough to be the figurehead, especially in an organization that showcases the Decolt family nonstop.

Will either be Alex or Ricky. Great predictions though!

Honestly, I put him because he's one my favorite characters. My bias took over.

I feel like Gargantuan would be the perfect obstacle for a figurehead to overcome, not a figurehead himself. Maybe he would be the type to get the rare clean win over said figurehead.

Kind of like when Lesnar wrecked Cena at SummerSlam two years ago.

I suppose it's not really that surprising, since for a smaller company, the roster can be so volatile that it's difficult to pick out one guy as the guy. A guy has to be your figurehead for a full year before he starts getting any bonuses, and he has to have so many positive traits and not be outshone by other people on the roster to avoid penalties, and he has to be in that position for five years to get the maximum bonuses. It's a lot to ask of an indy promotion to find a person like that and maintain it for long enough to matter.
