miz468
Is there a way mid-save to dissolve an alliance and buy their titles? For example, with HCG in the Thunderverse, they don't really have a true "world" title as the HCG Hollywood Championship is their top belt. However, they are part of the AWC, which has the AWC World Heavyweight Championship. As I (hopefully) move up to National size, I'd like to transition the Hollywood Championship to a midcard/floating title and purchase the AWC World Heavyweight Championship to make my main event title. Is this possible? If so, what conditions need to be met before I can do it?

born_naughty
<p>Tag team matches overpowered</p><p> </p><p> Okay, if this has been asked before please tell me.</p><p> </p><p> Imo the tag team matchen in TEW2016 are overpowered. It's easy to get all kinds of bonusses. First you get two tag teams who both have excellent chemistry. Second you get their experience up so they both have 100. If you want you can look for chemistry with a manager for all 4 wrestlers. </p><p> It takes a bit of searching but it's not difficult and once you have that it's easy to get 99-100 rated matches each and every time.</p><p> </p><p> Now, the only restriction you get is that you can't put the exact same match on for more then 3 times in 6 months without getting a penalty. But just get a third good tag team and you can keep switching between those three for years to come and have them headline ppv's for eternity.</p><p> </p><p> Okay okay, I know what you're saying, you can do this with single matches as well. But with tag team matches you can get so much more advantages (chemistry and tag team experience) that it's so much easier. Plus, it's much more difficult to find 3 guys that have chemistry against each other then three tag teams that have chemistry with each other. As a result all the top matches in my game are all tag team matches. </p><p> </p><p> So my question is, is there any setting I can use that can nerf this effect? Is this something anyone else experiences as well? Am I overlooking something about single matches that makes it harder to get a high rating? Am I overcompensating my lack of a social life by putting all my time and energy into TEW? Anything that might be of use.</p>

That’s kind of the problem when you like numbers and you play a game when you eventually figure out the system haha.</p><p> </p><p> In general though, that’s kind of how it works in real life too. Tag matches have long been atop MOTY lists in Mexico and Japan where they are much more common than the states, but even recently when the Shield first came up they were having great matches seemingly every week. I’d just chalk it up to singles matches being more of an individual effort whereas in tags you can cover mistakes/flaws/faults much easier.</p>
James Casey
<p>Fans like tag matches, always have, always will. Look at how fondly the Midnights/RnR Express feud is remembered, or the Dudleys/Hardys/E&C ladder/tables/TLC matches or Demolition and the Road Warriors... Compare and contrast similar midcard/upper midcard singles acts from the same time periods. 2v2 just seems to be inherently satisfying for wrestling fans on some level <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> The simple solution is to do what WWE have always done, and split teams as soon as they threaten to break into the main event, or hold them back by booking them into short matches that don't benefit from enough time to build up memories. Can't be spending main event money on 4 guys when you can spend it on 2, after all!</p>

DAVEFAN95
Does pre-booking do anything? Like what's the pro and cons of it?
James Casey
<p>Neutral: It no longer affects the heat of matches or affects show attendance, either positively or negatively. The game checks the matches you've booked when you run the show and adds a variable that simulates you advertising the booked matches beforehand.</p><p> </p><p> Con: If you don't specifically use the 'Add from Pre Booking' button when booking the show, you'll have the 'Run Show' button turn red, even if you add the match manually. I imagine you get used to it, but I only use it occasionally so forget all the time.</p><p> </p><p> Pro: It's really hard to forget matches now; Pre-book them, and they're ready to be added to your card, and you're reminded if you don't add them.</p><p> </p><p> Pro: You can pre-book matches and cancel them at any point up 'til running the show. Want Daniel Bryan to face Sheamus at WM30? Go ahead and book it. Decide to change your plans 3 weeks ahead of time and actually please the fans? Go ahead and change it.</p><p> </p><p> In short, it's an interactive notepad <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> *</p><p> </p><p> What's the best way to get Epic/Spectacle matches to work? atomzero
What's the best way to get Epic/Spectacle matches to work? I've given up using them in my current games as they always seemed to score lower than Regular matches in the main event - do they need a calmed crowd for maximum effect? I've never used Spectacle, but when I get a bonus from Epic, it's because the workers have high enough psychology to pull it off (B-, maybe B or more). I reserve it for matches between two top, highly skilled performers.
Blackman
I've never used Spectacle, but when I get a bonus from Epic, it's because the workers have high enough psychology to pull it off (B-, maybe B or more). I reserve it for matches between two top, highly skilled performers. This. I'd even bet on more than B psych. Afaik there's no way to disable experience. But who cares? There's no penalties for low experience. If the ratings are OP it's that there is more interaction so a higher chance of something unique happening between the workers. Two creative minds are better than one. So I don't think this needs to be fixed. As I am reading here, TV Shows bring just half of the gate but they give you more representation in the zones covered. I currently have one weekly TV Show, but as I need the money I am thinking to make a deal with the channel to air all my events and finish the TV Show, so the question is: What is the difference about the TV Show and airing all the Events with the same broadcaster? What are the advantages / disadvantages in revenue and popularity, and why would you want a TV Show over airing all the Events? A relevant question imo. I don't think there's any negatives involved to just broadcast weekly "events". It's one of those ways to "break the game" as you make tons of money with entertainment promotions as the gates are considered to be "PPV" tier. I always use them when I can't get a TV show yet and every time I wonder why I even make the switch. ------------------------- I'm curious as to how the perfect show theory works. It says you can't burn out a crowd too much, but in my experience there's no penalties to perform to a "very hot crowd". I've noticed bigger ups and downs in ratings when the crowd is building up, but can't confirm anything. There are tools to reset the pressure gauge, like "calm the crowd", "looks-based matches" or just using crappy workers. On my 1hour tv shows I don't bother resetting as I can't really make it work. But how does the gauge work? Based on the in-game feedback there are just 3 levels: COLD / HOT / VERY HOT. I assume the best point to stimulate an A match is when they are "hot"? Or is it when they first arrive at "very hot"? "Technical masterclass" matches only seem to work after resets or to start off a show. The all-out types can't be run on cold crowds. For me, it almost feels more like a fix than a hack, because I've never understood why a TV show would draw less fans. if anything, I'd think more fans would go to show that was going to be on TV. I get that a lot of wrestling companies have done their TV shows in arenas that are essentially TV studios with some bleachers. but my assumption is that is because they know they can't book and fill a place like Allstate, or MSG, or Staples every week. However, if I can draw 7,000-8,000 with weekly events in my GCG save, then I don't see why I'd use a smaller arena.
