As reported late last year Evie has signed for the WWE on the 15.12.16 and finished her last independent date for MCW (Melbourne City Wrestling) on the 28.4.17. She gave a farewell speech which confirmed she is heading to the Performance Centre. It's believed she is scheduled to be part of this summers 32 woman Women's Tourney and will probably progress a fair way given she has already signed with the company.

As for "Great Balls of Fire" it's yet another example of Vinnie Mac's connection to pop culture - he knows all the kids love Jerry Lee Lewis and/or Venereal Disease.

That's cool. I wasn't at my PC to check when I responded so thought maybe she had slipped through a previous update which was why I asked.

 

In other news... other "Universe" news... I found my back-up for Earth-2. Its one promotion shy of where I had it before but that shouldn't take me too long to catch up. I really think this is going to be some of my best work yet in terms of mixing reality with fantasy. Plus it is probably the most fun I've had modding since I first started on Diablo X.

 

For those unfamiliar with Earth-2, the difference between this and other alternate timeline mods is that this isn't an alternate timeline, it's an alternate Earth completely set in 1990 (when I started watching and becoming a fan of wrestling) with the same faces (and a few new ones) but different destinies. For example in WWE Hulkamania doesn't exist. In fact Hulk Hogan is known as "Mr. USA" Terry Hogan and is currently feuding with a little known guy named "Madness" Randy Poffo in the WCW midcard scene - Ric Flair is also at this level. The top stars in WWE at the moment? Well they would be the likes of "Iron" Mike Sharpe, The Warlord, Papa Shango, Mil Mascaras & Matt Borne. George Takano is currently the top draw in Japan with Mascara Sagrada selling out Mexico. The Harts are dominating the Canadian wrestling scene (albeit in a slightly different way than reality) with both Stampede and Canadian National Wrestling Alliance battling it out North of the border. The UK is a little quieter right now but will no doubt pick up in the not to distant future. The women's scene is also gaining some momentum (although currently I have only completed 2 women's promotions).

AJPW Changes

 

So, I just saw that you can link tour names to a company and month in the editor pre-game. With touring companies like AJPW, NOAH, Dragon Gate, and Wrestle-1 this can add some nice "authenticity" to the AI tour naming throughout the year (i.e. the AI will call all the tour events leading up to a big event by what you set in the editor, so for example setting "Champion Carnival" as a tour name, and linking it to AJPW in April will mean that the AI will call the touring events up to the AJPW Champion Carnival yearly event something like "AJPW Champion Carnival Tour (Mon)").

 

While not perfect, to me this is better than the AI calling it AJPW Ravenous Tour or whatever on the way to the big event. It also means the AI will only use that tour name for that linked company.

 

I am planning on posting similar changes for NOAH, Dragon Gate, and Wrestle-1 as well.

 

I went through AJPW's past couple year touring names, events, and titles and would offer up the following changes below:
