Sting had been champion since Christmas 1989, having beaten Ted DiBiase.

Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson (who are stable mates of Curt Hennig, along w/Scott Hall) are the The World Tag Team champions. Have been since April when they defeated Sgt. Slaughter and Ray Traylor.

The TV Champion is Adrian Adonis, who defeated Shane Douglas last month.

Douglas had been champion since February (this was his second reign)
