But Vader stood firm, staring Warrior down unfazed by his arrival. I placed myself under their care, followed their rules, lived as they do. They healed my body as my spirit joined the spirits of the elders and lived a thousand lifetimes as a slave, a soldier, a sultan, a pirate, a king... The temptation to surrender to these calls on the heart of the Warrior were great, but I withstood that temptation, because I knew I had to return. I had to come here to face a man who offered me something so very rare – a challenge.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

We must battle until one stands, and one falls. We must fight to determine who is the true conqueror, the true warrior, and who is the mere pretender to the throne!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Tag champions Scott Steiner and Randy Savage were separated in their matches this week – whether by intent or not is unclear, given their uneasy relationship of late. Steiner clashed with Owen Hart and it was clear that Steiner had unfinished business with the young Canadian, as he still does with most of the Dangerous Alliance! Steiner’s power game had Hart on the back foot for much of the match, but with Madusa and Brian Pillman on the outside, Steiner couldn’t focus solely on his opponent. That ended up costing him, as Madusa distracted the referee, allowing Pillman to nail Steiner in the small of the back with a steel chair – and Hart to claim victory with a Northern Lights Suplex!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

For the rest of the show, Steiner seemed barely controllable, demanding that Jesse Ventura give him a chance for revenge against the Calgary Connection (Ventura immediately added a tag title match to the Clash, and seemed delighted to do so!) and then cornered Randy Savage to demand to know where he was, if he couldn’t be at ringside for his partner’s match! That tone of voice didn’t sit too well with Savage, and only the intervention of Barry Windham and Dustin Rhodes seemed to stop the pair from getting into it in a big way, before Bret Hart pulled Savage away for their main event match!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The match saw the World and United States champions facing off against their Clash opponents, and was exactly as fiercely contested as one might imagine. All four men sought to lay down a marker ahead of their respective matches, with Hart nearly forcing a submission from Anderson at one point, only for Rude to break it up with a Rude Awakening. As he tried for the pin, however, Savage dove from the top rope with a Macho Man Elbow and could have won amidst the chaos, had Anderson not recovered sufficiently to interrupt the cover. Ultimately, the rivalry between the two sides couldn’t be contained by the ring, and as the quartet brawled without regard to the referee’s instructions, he eventually called for the bell to throw the match out!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Nikita Koloff was quick to accept Cactus Jack’s challenge for a rematch at the upcoming Clash – and even declared himself happy that it would be a street fight “so I can rid myself of this annoying Jack once and for all!” You have to imagine that he’ll only be happier after Cactus’ appearance cost him his match with Steve Austin too – albeit that Cactus claimed he was only scouting!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Big Van Vader destroyed Scott Armstrong in short order with a devastating Powerbomb, but the real story came after the match – Warrior vs. Vader? Yes please!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

We hear that young Marcus Bagwell has made a good impression on Ricky Steamboat backstage, and the pair teamed up here to take on the Diamond Exchange’s Shawn Michaels and Diamond Studd. Steamboat was his usual excellent self, but Michaels seemed to take that as a challenge to keep up, leading to some thrilling exchanges that had the crowd on their feet! Studd, meanwhile, contented himself with trying to overpower the Dragon and Bagwell, and ultimately it was his sneaky blow to the back of Bagwell’s head that let Michaels roll him up with a handful of trunks for the pin – and another defeat for Bagwell.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Sting clashed with the towering Vinnie Vegas in the night’s opening match. The Stinger had to contend with Diamond Dallas Page and Kimberly on the outside of the ring as well as his opponent, and was understandably distracted at certain moments – including when Page passed Vegas a roll of quarters that the big man used to drill Sting in the jaw! But unfortunately for the Diamond Exchange, the coins spilled all over the mat and the referee spotted the infringement, and handed the match to Sting – not that he was in any condition to appreciate the victory! Had he been available for the rest of the night, might he have been able to calm Scott Steiner down?</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Could Lance Storm be the future of WCW? The young Canadian scored a huge win over Mr Hughes to claim his first singles title in WCW, making him a double champion, no less! But Storm was outraged to discover that Ric Flair had a big hand in his victory. Storm and Chris Jericho made it clear in no uncertain terms that Flair had to stop getting involved in their matches – for good or ill! Flair seemed shocked by this – why would anyone not want help in their matches?</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>

<em>OOC: The sad thing about putting Lance Storm over Mr Hughes is that Storm scored a C rating, fully two grades higher than Hughes. At least Hughes didn’t balk at dropping the belt...</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Scott Steiner, on the other hand, absolutely had issues with losing to Owen Hart. Not unreasonable, per se, but this is one of those times I wish I could put an arm around his shoulders (well, shoulder – my arms aren’t that long) and point out that Steiner has very big things ahead of him. Losing to Hart will cost him a lot less than it will gain him in the long run.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Let me put it this way, Shawn. Right now, the Dangerous Alliance controls the NWA tag titles, the United States title and the big one, the WCW World title. I know that’s gotta eat at you, Stinger. I know that’s something you hate, not having gold around your waist. Hell, one time big Vin was dealing with some business on the Strip and I had to help the boys defend the titles. Walking down the aisle with the gold around my waist, getting my hand raised with the title in it... I could tell how addictive that was, just for that one night. You’ve had gold around your waist a lot more, and you have to be missing it.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Page: </strong></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">And with you in the match, and whoever you bring along... You two won’t be able to resist getting into it. </div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>Again</em></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> The fans certainly responded positively to the idea of Flair and Sting clashing again.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Michaels: </strong></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">Oh, and something else.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Michaels climbed up on the apron.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Michaels: </strong></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">You should fight us because I reckon I can beat you, and I want a chance to prove it. <p>WCW Clash Of The Champions XXII</p><p>

Randy Savage vs. <strong>Rick Rude</strong> © – WCW World Title – Everyone banned from ringside</p><p>

<em>Everyone barred from ringside may mean that the Dangerous Alliance are not an issue, but while Savage is definitely World Champion material I don't think that's the direction he's going in.....maybe a certain tag team partner of his costs him this match</em></p><p> </p><p>

Scott Steiner and Randy Savage © vs. <strong>The Calgary Connection</strong> – WCW World Tag Team Titles</p><p>

<em>Or should that be former tag team partner, because I don't see them co-existing here....that and the Calgary Connection deserve the big one</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Bret Hart</strong> vs. Arn Anderson © – WCW United States Title</p><p>

<em>It won't be all clear sailing for the DA however, as Bret continues his red hot streak here to pick up the US Title</em></p><p> </p><p>

Nikita Koloff vs. <strong>Cactus Jack</strong> – Street Fight</p><p>

<em>This would be a huge win for Cactus over a former Champion, a win that could really make him a player</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ultimate Warrior</strong> vs. Big Van Vader</p><p>

<em>This was a tough pick....really either man could win.....we may even see a draw, double dq, double count-out, something along those lines</em></p><p> </p><p>

Dustin Rhodes vs. <strong>Steve Austin</strong></p><p>

<em>Was this actually 1992's WCW then this could have gone either way too, but you've done such a good job of building up Austin that Dustin will just have to be happy for the rub he gets from being in there with a bigger star</em></p><p> </p><p>

Sting, Ricky Steamboat and Marcus Bagwell vs. Ric Flair and the Thrillseekers © vs. <strong>The Diamond Exchange</strong> – WCW Six Man Titles</p><p>

<em>This was another tough pick actually, just because you have some huge names in this match, but the Diamond Mine are obviously planning something after that (great) segment to set up this match.....plus, Sting vs. Michaels? Sign me up for that</em></p><p> </p><p>

</p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">With Randy Savage pulling double duty in challenging for the WCW World title in the main event, his tag title defence alongside Scott Steiner against the Calgary Connection opened the show. Paul E. complained about Savage getting preferential treatment but, as Jim Ross pointed out, Rick Rude didn’t have to fight </div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>at all</em></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> before defending his title.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

While Savage and Steiner have more experience individually than their opponents, the Calgary Connection have been teaming much longer – and that gave them an advantage as they worked over the champions. Savage may have been trying to save some energy for his title shot later in the evening, too. Certainly, that was Brian Pillman and Owen Hart’s suggestion as he left the ring to consult with Elizabeth, leaving Steiner to the Connection’s less than tender mercies.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

And to add to the Connection’s other advantages, they had Madusa, dressed in a functional gi and keeping a close eye on Elizabeth throughout the match, drawing Savage’s attention on more than one occasion. When Madusa got too close, Savage moved to intercept. The distraction took the referee’s attention, and Pillman struck with a low blow to Steiner. As the referee turned his attention back to the match, Pillman struck Savage with a baseball slide, sending him crashing into the ringside barrier. Hart was on hand to roll Steiner up for the three count and the titles – and Madusa was on hand with a steel chair for Pillman, who crashed it over Savage’s head as Elizabeth shrieked in horror. As Dangerously gloated on commentary, Hart and Madusa raised the title belts overhead – Pillman keeping hold of the steel chair...</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Backstage, Magnum TA stood by with Sting, Ricky Steamboat and Marcus Bagwell, the latter two of whom had agreed to join Sting in his shot at the WCW Six Man titles. Sting said that he wasn’t sure why the Diamond Exchange had decided to get him of all people involved in their dispute with Ric Flair and the Thrillseekers... but he’d never backed down from a fight in his life.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Terence Taylor captured the Television title from young Lance Storm this past Sunday night, and the new champion was keen to show it off to the camera as he walked down the aisle ahead of his first defence.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Ross:</strong></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> And as we’ll see tonight, defending the title five times in a row can potentially be very profitable indeed.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Taylor’s opponent was former Television champion El Tigre Blanco, recently returned from a spell on the sidelines and eager to get back to winning ways. The masked man dazzled the Milwaukee Theatre crowd with his aerial skills, but when he missed a dive from the top rope Taylor quickly capitalised with a Piledriver to score the pin and retain the gold.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Jesse Ventura was backstage in the trainers’ room, checking on Randy Savage after he was injured by Brian Pillman after the opening match. As the Commissioner left the room, his expression spoke volumes – but he stopped to confirm to Magnum TA that the main event would go ahead as planned.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

And don’t try and stir up trouble, Ross. I put the Alliance together by picking five of the most dangerous, talented competitors in wrestling today. Rick Rude got to the World title first, but he knows that Arn Anderson could have had it. He knows Owen Hart and Brian Pillman have all the talent they need to hold that belt. And Steve Austin, young and new to the business though he is, is every bit as big a deal as his partners.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

If Rhodes was concerned about the money to be made from taking on Austin, he didn’t show it. Belittled by Austin since War Games, Rhodes jumped his opponent as he made his entrance, and the pair brawled on the entrance ramp as the Milwaukee crowd cheered on the Natural. Austin took a backdrop on the unforgiving entrance way, and a big cowboy boot to the side of the head as Rhodes followed in to send him sprawling. Rhodes was forced towards the ring by the referee as Madusa checked on Austin, even grabbing a fan’s soda and tipping it over Austin’s face to rouse him.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Austin made his way slowly into the ring, checking that the referee was holding back Rhodes with the bell set to ring. Rhodes charged forwards once more, but Austin ducked out of the way and pinned Rhodes in the corner with a flurry of punches and slaps, before kicking Rhodes in the gut and throwing him into the centre of the ring. Austin posed with a smug smile on his face, not seeing Rhodes getting back to his feet and coming at him from behind. Rhodes drilled Austin with a knee to the small of his back, before rolling him up for two. Austin kicked out, but Rhodes kept up the onslaught with a big lariat, and Austin was only saved from defeat by Madusa draping his foot over the bottom rope. Rhodes snapped at Madusa, but turned his attention back to Austin and drilled him with a suplex and a bulldog, earning another two count.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Rhodes was once more distracted by Madusa, who climbed up onto the ring apron with the NWA tag title belt in hand. With Rhodes’ back turned, Austin went low with a uppercut, the referee calling for the bell.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With Rhodes doubled over and helpless, Madusa handed the title belt to Austin, who spread it across the ring mat. Grabbing Rhodes, he signalled for Madusa to climb the turnbuckles as he hooked Rhodes around the waist and set him up over the solid gold faceplate.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Austin and Madusa backed away, Austin with his title belt in hand, the pair grinning with delight as a doctor rushed down the aisle to check on Rhodes. The Natural lay on the mat, hands clasped around his neck as Austin and Madusa walked away, stopping to laugh at Barry Windham as the big Texan hurried down the aisle, his arm still sporting the cast from Brian Pillman’s attack five weeks’ before.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With the ring cleared, the Young Pistols and the Stocks And Shares Express made their entrances for the US tag title match. The reigning champions stared across the ring at their challengers, as Jim Ross noted that ten years before it had been Morton and Gibson who were the young up-and-comers, and now they were the multiple-time World champions and elder statesmen of the division.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The years have begun to tell on the Express, who couldn’t quite keep pace with their younger opponents – but then, for sheer ring savvy and guile, the Express are hard to beat. The veteran duo kept Armstrong isolated in the ring, using quick tags and distracting the referee so that the unseen partner could illegally work over Armstrong. On the apron, Smothers was growing more and more frustrated and twice he was backed out of the ring by the official – with the Express gleefully double-teaming Armstrong in those long seconds. On the outside, the crowd were baying for Armstrong to make the tag, but time and again he was cut off when he was just a few inches short...</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

...until the Express fell foul of a miscommunication, the referee catching them in their double teaming, allowing Armstrong to dive across the ring and tag Smothers. The crowd erupted as the fresh Pistol exploded into the ring, levelling Morton with a right hand and sending Gibson flying from the ring apron with a dropkick. Smothers worked over Morton as their partners recuperated on the outside of the ring, and the Pistol sent Morton high with a big backdrop that had the crowd on their feet. Smothers climbed up to the top turnbuckle, but Gibson had recovered enough to grab his ankle and stop him taking off. Morton was able to pull him off the top rope and dump him on the mat, finally bringing Gibson back into the match.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

As Gibson tried to capitalise on Smothers’ stunned state, York climbed up on the ring apron, laptop in hand. The referee turned to admonish York and Armstrong took the opportunity to dash into the ring, drilling Gibson with a dropkick that sent him crashing into Morton, sending the latter flying off the ring apron and into the crowd barrier. York looked on in horror as Smothers and Armstrong lifted Gibson up and drilled him with a double superkick, Smothers dropping on top for the pinfall and the successful title defence.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With all three teams in the ring, the referee didn’t even have time to signal for the bell before the fight kicked off, eight of the nine men engaging as Ric Flair hung back, watching the chaos unfold. Flair eventually joined Storm in attacking Michaels, perhaps seeing the Rough Diamond as the easiest opposing target – or not wanting to engage with Sting, Vegas, Steamboat or Studd in any way.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The referee eventually managed to get most of the competitors out of the ring, leaving Storm, Bagwell and Michaels to compete between the ropes. The young trio each took advice from their older partners/managers as they sought advantage, but a telling factor was Vinnie Vegas’ ability to reach almost halfway across the ring and tag Bagwell in the back of the head with a punch, putting him down. Before Michaels could capitalise, though, Storm nearly took him out of his boots with a snap suplex, floating over to hook Storm into a single leg crab. However, Steamboat leapt off the top turnbuckle to catch Storm with a diving crossbody, forcing the hold to be released – albeit that as Storm fell backwards, he wrenched Michaels’ leg back too.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

That was the cue for yet more chaos, and set the pattern for the match as no team was able to maintain overall control, and the official simply couldn’t keep track of nine wrestlers on three teams. As the match continued, each man seemed to have their moments of triumph, and moments of disaster with unlikely team-ups forming and collapsing almost faster than the eye could see. Amidst the chaos, Bagwell was caught with a thrust kick by Storm, but Michaels intercepted Storm with a thrust kick of his own before he could make the cover. Although Michaels’ bad knee buckled under him on impact, he cleared the way for Vegas to snare Bagwell and deliver Snake Eyes, and as the remaining competitors fought amongst themselves (and Diamond Dallas Page grabbed Sting’s leg to stop him breaking up the pin) he scored the three count to take the Six Man titles back to the Diamond Exchange!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Koloff and Cactus once more started fighting on the entrance ramp, exchanging hard and heavy shots at furious speed as each tried to down and stun the other. But although Koloff was clearly the stronger, Cactus simply wouldn’t be put down and he gave as good as he got, hitting faster than Koloff, if not with as much power behind each strike.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

There was little scientific about the exchanges between the pair, with Koloff delivering a big back body drop to Cactus on the entrance ramp, and Cactus suplexing Koloff on the same being about the only recognisable moves that passed beyond simply beating one another senseless. Koloff threw Cactus off the entrance ramp and onto the ringside mats, but Cactus rolled through and came up to meet Koloff with a boot to the gut, before pulling him in close for a Double Arm DDT...</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

...only for the appearance of Big Van Vader to make him stop what he was doing. Cactus stared up the ramp as Vader marched down the aisle, Harley Race following closely in his wake, if not too happily by the expression on his face. Koloff took advantage of the distraction to backdrop Cactus onto the ramp, and as Cactus struggled to his feet Vader slammed into him with a hefty forearm to the side of the head. Cactus staggered backwards, rebounding from the ring ropes into a trio of forearm smashes from Vader, the strikes making his knees buckle and dropping him to all fours.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Without further preamble, Vader lifted Cactus up, powerbombing him over the ropes into the centre of the ring with a thunderous crash. As Cactus writhed in pain in the ring, Vader turned his attention to Koloff, who’d watched the bludgeoning from the arena floor. Too slow to react, Koloff couldn’t move out of Vader’s way as the bigger man struck him hard in the face, and slammed it into the ramp. Dragging Koloff up onto the ramp, Vader delivered a huge headbutt, leaving Koloff reeling, swinging ineffectually as Vader lunged forwards once more with a forearm to the side of Koloff’s head, putting him down on the ramp. Stepping over Koloff’s body, Vader climbed up to the second rope and leapt off with a Vader Bomb, crushing Koloff against the unforgiving wooden structure. Race stood back, hand over his mouth as Vader surveyed his handiwork.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The pair eventually made it into the ring, and Dangerously got his wish as they proceeded to bludgeon one another without quarter, neither man giving an inch in spite of the hellacious punishment each endured – and handed out! Warrior was quicker, the irresistible force, while Vader seemed possible the stronger, the immovable object.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

It was in the balance whether one of the pair could even establish a clear advantage over the other when the curtain to the backstage area was yanked back and Cactus Jack stumbled out onto the ramp, with Nikita Koloff close behind, pushing away a trainer as he limped out into the arena. Vader was distracted by their arrival, and a big clothesline from Warrior sent him crashing through the ropes to the ramp. As the referee began his count, Vader got to his feet and seemed torn between going after Koloff and Cactus, or getting back in the ring with Warrior. Warrior beckoned him back into the ring, but Vader seemed to take particular offence to Cactus and Koloff being up and about so soon after his attack on them, and strode up the aisle to tackle them. Between them, the injured pair could only put up a token defence against the big man, but it was enough to keep him out of the ring until the referee’s count hit 10 as Warrior roared at the unsatisfying result. Climbing through the ropes, he charged up the ramp and slammed into Vader with a clothesline, and the pair tumbled through the curtain to backstage, leaving Koloff and Cactus in their wake.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Bret Hart entered first, and cast a long look at Paul E. Dangerously as he passed the announcers’ table. Dangerously said nothing as Arn Anderson entered, US title around his waist and Madusa at his side. Anderson and Hart dead-eyed one another across the centre of the ring as the referee held the title aloft, but before he could call for the bell Anderson turned to Madusa and pointed her to the announcers’ table. Madusa protested, but Anderson shook his head firmly.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Given the ability of the two competitors, it was hardly a big surprise that this was a technical masterclass – both Hart and Anderson are as capable at chain wrestling as they are at submissions as they are at mat wrestling, but also both men are more than capable brawlers, willing to trade shots to try and gain an advantage. Hart was marginally the quicker of the two, and willing to climb the turnbuckles at times. Anderson, for his part, was quite willing to bend the rules and test the referee’s patience on rope breaks.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Hart scored a close fall off a flying clothesline, but Anderson just got his shoulder up. Anderson retaliated with a spinebuster, but Hart landed close to the ropes and managed to hook his foot on the bottom strand. The two continued trading shots, each seeking to land the decisive blow to give them a clear advantage – something that neither man had managed thus far. Hart seemed to have it as he scored with a slingshot suplex, but this time it was Anderson who got his foot on the ropes. With a scowl on his face, Hart grabbed Anderson’s feet and stepped through, but Anderson countered the Sharpshooter with a tight small package. The referee was right on hand to count out the pin but...</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Hart questioned the referee briefly, but seemed to accept that the referee’s decision. Turning to leave the ring, he found Anderson in front of him, US title belt in hand. The two stared at each other for a long moment, before Anderson held out his hand. Hart looked surprised, but accepted the handshake – which Anderson broke quickly, leaving Hart in the ring with a short nod of the head.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div></div></div><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Savage made his entrance in typically grand style, clad in a new set of ring gear and matching fringed jacket. When he removed his sunglasses and hat, however, the blossoming purple bruise stood out starkly against his forehead.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

As Rude made his entrance, he smirked at the sight of Savage’s forehead, and as soon as the bell rang he flicked out a jab that caught Savage flush on the head. Savage was staggered and vulnerable in the early exchanges – almost of which came from Rude as he beat down his challenger. But Savage rallied by catapulting Rude head first into the turnbuckles, stunning the champion and leaving him vulnerable. Savage capitalised with a suplex and dropped an elbow across his face, turning Rude’s own tactics against him as he tried to put him down.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Rude dragged Savage to the outside, avoiding any risk of the pinfall as they brawled on the outside. The referee counted slowly, not willing to easily end the match on a double countout as the fans cheered on the action, especially with Savage apparently in the ascendance. Savage pitched the World champion into the ringpost, splitting his forehead open and spilling blood down his face. Rude scrambled back into the ring, trying to put space between himself and Savage, who followed him through the ropes with wide, wild eyes staring a hole in Rude. Rude tried to beg off, but Savage was having none of it as he booted Rude to the mat and hopped up to the second turnbuckle, coming off with another elbow drop that earned him a two count. Rude bailed from the ring again, grabbing a trainer’s kit and quickly wrapping a bandage around his head. As Rude turned back to the ring, Savage leapt off the ring apron with a double axehandle, before tearing at the fresh dressing and stripping it from Rude’s head.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Back in the ring, Savage sent Rude high with a back bodydrop and went to the top rope. Taking aim, he seemed to be lining up Macho Elbow, but Rude rolled out of the way before he leapt off. Instead Savage climbed down and met Rude with a clothesline from the apron as Rude tried to get to his feet. As Savage tried to climb back into the ring, though, he paused with a hand raised to his head, looking unsteady on his feet. Rude got to his feet and landed a big punch on Savage, rocking him backwards. Savage held onto the top rope, using it to pull himself forwards and fire in his own punch on Rude, rocking him back. But Rude came back in turn and Savage teetered once more, before again pulling himself back in. But this time Rude blocked Savage’s strike and fired in a punch of his own, and a second, and a third, sending Savage toppling backwards off the ring apron and into a hard collision with the ringside railing. Rude sunk to his knees, blood spilling down his face, fingers probing his own wound as Savage struggled to get to his feet and the referee began his count.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The referee’s count reached eight before Savage could get to his feet, and it was a long wait for nine as the challenger tried to make it across the distance to the ring. As he slid under the ropes, Rude fell on him and drove an elbow into the back of his head. He kept punching and striking Savage, focusing on the heavy bruise on Savage’s forehead, leaving Savage struggling even to lift his head.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Savage eventually pulled himself free of Rude and into the corner. Using the ropes to pull himself up, Savage just eluded the onrushing Rude. Hanging off the top rope, Savage kicked out at Rude, forcing him back. Releasing the ropes, Savage scored with a body slam on Rude, before dropping a knee with all his weight behind it across Rude’s scarlet forehead. Savage was clearly struggling, and it took him several long seconds to get to his feet, again using the ropes to pull himself up. Rude was still on the mat, and Savage looked from the downed champion to the top turnbuckle as the crowd roared.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Slowly Savage climbed up the turnbuckle, pausing at the top rope, eyes closed, knuckles whitened as he clutched the turnbuckle. Slowly he stood upright, staring down at Rude, but his knees continued to shake and he sunk back to all fours. Rude, by now recovering, climbed up to the second rope and grabbed his head.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Rude touched his split forehead once more, and seeing the blood on his hand again he scowled. He climbed to the top rope, dragging Savage up with him, the two teetering high above the ring as Rude turned Savage slowly inside out.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Rude leapt off the top rope, pulling Savage with him in a top rope Rude Awakening that took both men plummeting to the mat with a huge crash that even made the referee stumble as the mat shook beneath him. The two men lay on the mat, the referee standing over them as he counted, the crowd’s roar almost drowning out his calls as he reached six before Rude began to stir, rolling over and dropping an arm across Savage. The referee dropped to the mat and counted one, two, three, Savage unmoving as the match came to a finish.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Madusa left the announcers’ table and joined Rude in the ring, trainer’s kit in hand, and bound up his bloodied head as the referee carried over the World title, seemingly reluctant to get too close to the heavily blood-stained champion. Handing over the title, the referee stepped back quickly as Rude stood up, leaning heavily on Madusa as he did so.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Rude unfastened the World title from around his waist and handed it to Madusa. But there will be, Paul. You see, I want Rude to defend that World title at the Great American Bash, so here’s what we’re going to do: Over the next few weeks there’ll be matches to determine the new number one contender to the World title – four tonight, two next week and one in three weeks’ time. And competing in those matches will be my choice of some of the hottest names in WCW – as it’s summer time! There’ll be Ted Turner’s favourite wrestler, the Junkyard Dog, the “All-American” Ron Simmons, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, the “Rough Diamond” Shawn Michaels, Big Van Vader-</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

This is preposterous! This is just ludicrous! You cannot </div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>possibly</em></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> expect the Dangerous Alliance to compete against itself!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Anderson and Rude had stepped up to either side of Dangerously, with Rude looking particularly mutinous. Austin, however, hung back slightly and watched with a thoughtful expression on his face.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In fact, I’d put all four of them into this series – but I have plans for Hart and Pillman at the Bash already: Boys, you’re going to be defending your new tag titles in a rematch against Randy Savage and Scott Steiner!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

No losers for the Dangerous Alliance there, right? Hey, maybe you can just tell them to let Rude win!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With a smirk of his own Ventura turned and left the ring as Rude grabbed Dangerously by the arm and looked like he was about to get very angry with him – before turning to look at Anderson and Austin, the latter of whom especially was now watching him very closely indeed...</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div></div></div><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In his first round match, Shawn Michaels clashed with Junkyard Dog. The wily veteran had Michaels on the back foot with his sheer strength and size, but the application of a fistful of quarters by DDP turned the tide in Michaels’ favour, and a Teardrop Suplex allowed the Rough Diamond to advance to the semi-finals. The Diamond Exchange looked like they were throwing an amazing party afterwards, just as you’d expect!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Sting and Arn Anderson entered the main event knowing that Michaels awaited the winner of their match next week. Neither man showed any reluctance to fight, even if Anderson and Michaels and their allies occasionally share parallel paths, and Anderson must have been thinking of two potential matches against Dangerous Alliance partners. Perhaps it was that thought that cost him, as after over twenty minutes of spellbinding action Sting scored with the Stinger Splash, turning Anderson over into the Scorpion Deathlock for the pin – and a step closer to World title gold!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Cactus Jack was convalescing away from WCW after the attack from Big Van Vader two nights’ ago, but the wildman from Truth Or Consequences said it was just a temporary setback – he still had Nikita Koloff in his sights, and it wouldn’t be over until he said it was over! And as for Vader... Well, Cactus would find him when he was ready. It’s not like Vader’s a hard target to spot!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Bret Hart isn’t happy to have lost out on the United States title at the Clash, but he promised to look forward rather than back – there’d be a lot of opportunities to lift gold again in the future, he was sure! (And hey, Missy’s back – and looked delighted to have drawn the duty of interviewing the Hitman!)</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Missy also managed to track down her old friend Scott Steiner, but could get nothing out of him about his team with Randy Savage.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Terence Taylor has taken to the duties of Television champion with aplomb, and here tackled old ally Thomas Rich in a match Rich earned by winning a battle royale at the Clash before the show went live. Rich has experience holding gold, of course, but couldn’t defeat Taylor here as Alexandra York’s prime investment came out on top with a Piledriver!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Ultimate Warrior is far from happy with how his match at the Clash ended, and he let everyone know as such, demanding a rematch with Vader, and promising dire vengeance to Koloff and Cactus if they got involved again.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The Post-Soviet Superstar Nikita Koloff had words for Cactus and Vader as well – he told Vader that he had no right to interfere in his match with Cactus, and agreed with Cactus that their business </div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>still</em></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> wasn’t finished. Where is this taking us, where can they possibly go after everything they’ve already been through?</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

And speaking of Vader, he was in action against Ron Simmons as the two hosses went after a potential World title shot. Vader had an opponent who couldn’t back down if his life depended on it, and Simmons rocked Vader with several big shots. Vader delivered a huge clothesline to Simmons that sent him over the top rope and Vader followed him out of the ring, charging Simmons into the guardrail. Two continued brawling wildly, the referee unable to get any sort of control of the battle and eventually calling for the bell as the pair still kept fighting!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Steve Austin has been on a hot streak lately, and seemed especially chipper when approaching his match with Ricky Steamboat. Both men knew that a win would let them bypass the semi-finals next week as Vader and Simmons eliminated one another. Both men gave their all, leaving nothing in their arsenals unused. That proved to be Steamboat’s undoing, as Austin has Madusa but little or no moral compass, so when Madusa distracted the official, Austin scored with a boot between Steamboat’s legs, letting him get a quick rollup for the pin!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Randy Savage was away from WCW as well this week – it’s been a rough week for some of our stars! – but he assured Magnum TA that he’d be back, “and even if I’m at the back of the line for another World title shot, the Macho Man has a way of cutting to the front of any line, ooh yeah!”</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Rockin’ Robin Smith has been impressing on the indies lately, and stepped up to WCW to challenge NWA Women’s champion Madusa here. She put on a great showing, nearly unseating the champion several times, but on this occasion Madusa came to her own rescue – gouging Smith in the eyes and rolling her up for the pin with her feet on the ropes to secure a successful defence!</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The Thrillseekers had some harsh words for Ric Flair after recent events. Could Flair For The Gold Consulting be looking for new clients soon? The Nature Boy seemed a little perturbed by Storm and Jericho’s warning – might the Nature Boy be turning over a new leaf?</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">
