In a bout that had good wrestling and good crowd heat, Eddie Gilbert and The Gambler defeated Clark Hainess and Erik Watts in 6:21 when "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert defeated Clark Hainess by pinfall while using the ropes for leverage. The Gambler celebrates and show everyone his deck of cards; the foxxy Tammy struts around while looking attractive; while the cocky expert cheater Eddie Gilbert is boasting of his prowess, with women; his wild party style; and his in ring skills! "Grandpa Flair can retire, here comes Hot Stuff Eddie Gilbert, Wooo!" The question is what does "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair think about this newcomer Stylin n' profilin' in WCW? Is WCW big enough for two players? But with such a hot chick like Tammy at his side, it seems like Gilbert really are a successful ladies man and not just another loudmouth.

Ice Train vs Brian Walsh

In an short match, charismatic powerhouse Ice Train defeated local jobber Brian Walsh in 0:57 by pinfall with a Full Nelson Slam. Another dominant win for Ice Train. Walsh never stood any chance against his powerful, yet agile oppononent. Ice Train keeps climbing the rankings even without the help of former manager Teddy Long.

The two "Hardcore Legends" Cactus Jack and Terry Funk are backstage; an argument breaks out, and they start brawling with each other. A host of road agents and staff have to pull them apart before the hard-hitting brawl gets out of control. Funks seems to have targeted Cactus Jacks already injured shoulder.

The Cole Twins vs Bunkhouse Buck & Dick Slater

In a bout that had good wrestling and good crowd heat, the hard-hitting grizzled duo Bunkhouse Buck & Dick Slater defeated The Cole Twins in 6:06 when Dick Slater defeated Keith Cole by pinfall with a Leaping Piledriver. During the match Col. Robert Parker constantly distracted the referee while the experienced duo Bunkhouse Buck & Dick Slater delivered vicious cheap shots on their opponents.

The arrogant Diamond Dallas Page and the stunning Diamond Doll cuts a promo mocking tonights opponent Dave "Evad" Sullivan. DDP calls Evad a retard and a out of of shape loser. DDP puffs a few puffs to get his cigar going good then continue to taunt the fans, before the leaving the arena. Before exiting the arena he throws the cigar in the face of a fan. The fan gets furious, while DDP laughs at him. The WCW commentary teams points out that with a short tempered pitbull like brother named Kevin Sullivan it might not be very smart to pick on Dave.

In an extremely short match, Bam Bam Bigelow destroys Mark Starr in 1:29 by pinfall with a brutal Powerbomb. A dominant victory for "The Beast From The East". Like a predator Bam Bam played around with his prey, before delivering that stiff powerbomb. Starr is knocked out and the WCW Medical Staff removes Starr on a stretcher.

Dave Sullivan vs Diamond Dallas Page

In a bout that had good wrestling and good heat, Diamond Dallas Page defeated Dave Sullivan in 7:33 by pinfall with a Diamond Cutter after Diamond Doll interfered by flirting and distracting Dave Sullivan. Dave Sullivan looked very confused and blushed when Diamond Doll acted flirty. DDP once again puffs his cigar, and taunts the fans. DDP says that he is targeting the WCW Television title and will use any means necessary to get the title. DDP says that he isn't impressed by either Johnny B. Badd or Honky Tonk Man, both men better beware for nothing is going to stop DDP from getting the title.

Maybe not the hardest episode to predict, but some weeks the Main Events predictions will be quite easy and some weeks more challenging. One reason is that i have a large roster, and want to give a lot of wrestlers some time in the spotlight. I always try to keep the most interesting matches for Saturday Night.

WCW superstars Hulk Hogan and Sting will go head-to-head with two of Japans top wrestlers. A top calibre match between some of the best wrestlers in the World.

Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat will face the rugged Englishman Lord Steven Regal in a United States title match. The Dragon need to deliver the goods against the skilled technician.

"The Natural" Dustin Rhodes will take on "Stunning" Steve Austin. Two of the most promising wrestlers in WCW will go head-to-head.

The loser will leave WCW. Grizzled veteran vs grizzled veteran. "Boston Bad Boy" Kevin Sullivan vs "Mr Wonderful" Paul Orndorff. One of the two will draw the shortest straw.

The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers) vs The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags). Can The Nasty Boys defend their titles against former 2x WCW United States Tag Team champions The Fantastics.

Two of the toughest men in WCW collide, when "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson takes on Barry Darsow.

It is time for the WCW Light Heavyweight Championship Tournament Semi Finals. The winner will advance to the finals and have a chance to become the new champion. Former champion Brad Armstrong goes head-to-head with the Canadian Chris Benoit. Armstrong advanced to the semi finals by defeating the Japanese wrestler El Samurai, while Chris Benoit defeated Vic Steamboat. Benoit is back in WCW after a successful stint in Japan.

In a bout that had fast paced, high-flying action, Chris Benoit defeated Brad Armstrong in 7:31 by submission with a Crippler Crossface. The talented Chris Benoit show the fans that he means serious business by defeating the former champion Brad Armstrong. Benoit moves on to the final. That was a very exciting match, remember fans that matches of this calibre are shown only in WCW. Don't except the rivals up in Northeast to showcase anything similar. This WCW where wrestling still matters.

Now over to "Mean" Gene Okerlund that will interview Cactus Jack about his bloody feud with Terry Funk. Hardcore Legend vs Hardcore Legend this is one feud not to miss. Suddenly Terry Funk appears. The already injured Cactus Jack is assault and brutally beaten down by Terry Funk. Funk continues his assault, but here comes the cavalry; The Sullivans and Johnny B. Badd arrives to rescue Cactus Jack; while Honky Tonk Man and Barry Darsow arrives to help Terry Funk. A wild arena wild brawl erupts and the WCW Security Team have problems to get everything back under control.

Will Cactus Jack still be able to go head-to-head with Terry Funk at Clash Of The Champions after these brutal attacks by Terry Funk?

Local jobber Sonny Rogers against the toughest man in the History of Wrestling; "The Man They Call Meng". In a bout that had hard-hitting wrestling, Meng defeated Sonny Rogers in 0:53 by pinfall with a Savate Kick. Meng dominated and manhandled Rogers during the match. A medical team removes Rogers on a stretcher, while Col Robert Parker puffs his cigar, rants and brags about the terrifying Meng.

The bigscreens show the backstage area, where jobbers Eddie Golden and Mark Starr are enjoying a discussion. Suddenly Vader appears like a unstoppable bulldozer. Golden and Starr are beaten down with stiff punches, before Vader nails them with two massive Powerbombs.

"I've broken Stings ribs, i've destroyed Cactus Jack, i've hospitalized The Guardian Angel and i've ended careers! Arn, whatcha gonna do when i come for you? It's Vader Time and i will use you as my punching bag before finishing you with the Powerbomb!!"

In a good match, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson defeated grizzled veteran Barry Darsow in 5:44 by submission with a Figure-four leglock. Darsow had some good hard-hitting offense, but Arn showed that he is a superior wrestler when it comes to technical wrestling and dismantled his opponent. Arn Anderson looked very focused during the match and he didn't seem uncomfortable by Vaders threatening message.

WCW World Tag Team Championship Match

In a good match, The Nasty Boys defeated The Fantastics in 5:42 when Brian Knobbs defeated Tommy Rogers by pinfall with a Trip to Nastyville. The Nasty Boys used their superior brawling skills to get control of the match. During the match we also saw Kevin Sullivan and Dave Sullivan run in and attack The Nasty Boys, before being escorted backstage by WCW Security. The Nasty Boys make defence number 1 of their WCW World Tag Team Championship titles.

In an extremely short squash match that included a barrage of stiff punches and clotheslines, the massive Vader defeated local jobber Lou Marconi in 1:15 by pinfall with a brutal Powerbomb, then steps on his face after he wins. Vader manhandles the poor jobber who gets demolished and humiliated. Vader is without doubt the most feared man in WCW.

Loser Leaves WCW Match

In a wild, intense, violent and hard-hitting brawl, "Boston Bad Boy" Kevin Sullivan defeated "Mr Wonderful" Paul Orndorff in a Loser Leaves WCW match in 6:27 by pinfall with a vicious Double Stomp. During the match we also saw The Nasty Boys run in and attack Kevin Sullivan, before being escorted out of the arena by WCW Security. Sullivan may not be the biggest, the strongest, or the most physically gifted, but he is one of the most feared men in the World of Pro Wrestling. You don't want Kevin Sullivan as your enemy.

That's it "Mr Wonderful" Paul Orndorff have to leave WCW.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund Interviews "Stunning" Steve Austin about his upcoming match against "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes. Austin is extremely self-confident. Austin says that he is the only true star in WCW and he is carrying the company single-handedly. He will have no problems defeating Rhodes.

In a bout that had great wrestling and a great reaction from the crowd, "Stunning" Steve Austin defeated "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes in 8:26 by submission with a That's a Wrap after blatantly cheating. Austin celebrates like he just did won the World title and arrogantly taunts the fans. That made the fans boo even louder.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Lord Steven Regal about his upcoming match against Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. Regal looks utterly disgusted both by having to go head-to-head with Steamboat and for having to be in the same arena as all these inferior WCW fans. In Regals eyes all American fans are rednecks and white trash.

WCW United States Championship

In a bout that had great wrestling and great heat, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat defeated Lord Steven Regal in 15:45 by pinfall with a Diving Crossbody. During the match we also had "Stunning" Steve Austin run in and attack Steamboat. Ricky Steamboat makes defence number 1 of his WCW United States Championship title. Regal can't believe his eyes, his normally arrogant expression is replaced with utter disgust. He was in control his with high level of technical catch wrestling, but despite his technical skills he did lose the match. The WCW fans goes wild, while Steamboat celebrates the victory.

In a bout that had superb wrestling and superb heat, Hulk Hogan and Sting defeated The Great Muta and Masahiro Chono in 19:22 when Hulk Hogan defeated Masahiro Chono by pinfall with a Leg Drop. During the match we also had "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair distract Hogan and argue with "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart. What a match, the WCW commentary team of Tony Schiavone, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and Jesse Ventura seems to be euphoric about the match.

During the match we also saw big powerhouse Scott Norton in the audience. It seems like Norton is very interested in studying Ice Train. Could there be some tension or rivalry between the two powerhouses? The fans shouts "KFC! KFC! KFC!..." when Col. Robert Parker struts around like a angry rooster. Parker seems to be very disappointed on tonights performance by Dick Slater and Bunkhouse Buck. That was a strong performance by powerhouse Ice Train and his teammate Konnan looked solid. Badd defeated Jean-Paul Levesque in 8:12 by pinfall with a beautiful Shooting Star Press. During the match we also had Honky Tonk Man run in and attack Badd. Johnny B. Badd makes defence number 1 of his WCW World Television Championship title. A strong victory for the champ, as the heated feud with Honky Tonk Man continues.

Sgt. Slaughter leaves WWF and relocates from USA to Japan. Sgt. Slaughter has signed a contract with AJPW and will work as an road agent for the Japanese promotion.

WWF looks set to strengthen the Womens Division and have signed Leilani Kai, Candi Devine, Rhonda Singh, Bull Nakano, Akira Hokuto, Debbie Combs and Zuleyma.

Former WCW manager Sherri Martel has signed a contract with WWF. Martel was released from WCW and replaced by Miss Elizabeth.

Former WWF jobber Chris Kanyon has signed a written contract with WCW.

In a bout that had great wrestling and heat, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat defeated Japanese superstar The Great Muta in 16:30 by pinfall with a Diving Crossbody following botched interference by "Stunning" Steve Austin. Austin can't believe his eyes that Steamboat did win the match, but quickly retreats to the backstage area. The Great Muta and Sonny Onoo doesn't seem very happy with the botched interference and it seems like Austin made the right decision to leave arena before the The Great Muta could get hold of him. Ricky Steamboat makes defence number 2 of his WCW United States Championship title.

In a bout that had great wrestling and heat, Sting defeated Tatsumi Fujinami in 17:50 by pinfall with a Diving Crossbody. During the match we also had big menacing monster heel Bam Bam Bigelow distract Sting. "The Beast From The East" are threatening Sting and demands a title shot, but is quickly escorted by WCW Security to the backstage area. Sting makes defence number 5 of his WCW Int. World Heavyweight Championship title. What a match, the WCW commentary team of Tony Schiavone, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and Jesse Ventura seems to be euphoric about the match. Remember fans that matches of this calibre are shown only in WCW. Don't except the rivals up in Northeast to showcase anything similar. This is WCW where wrestling still matters.

Based on reports the "Lethal Lottery / BattleBowl" concept could return this year. The winner of the BattleBowl could be awarded a title match for the WCW World Heavyweight championship. WCW President Eric Bischoff still don't have any comment on this matter.

WCW looks set to boasting the tag team scene. According to a locker room source three "Championship Calibre" tag teams have signed contracts and will debut shortly. More news as we get it.

WCW keeps signing talented up-and-coming wrestlers from all over the World to fill out the light heavyweight division. Among the signed wrestlers are Koji Kanemoto, Hayabusa, Ultimo Dragon, Rey Misterio Jr., Psicosis, Chris Jericho and Lance Storm. Several of these wrestlers will also continue to work in Mexico and Japan. According to WCW President Eric Bischoff, WCW have also signed a contract with one of the best Juniors in the World. The yet to be named wrestler will make a comeback and work exclusive for WCW.

Veteran Greg "The Hammer" Valentine could soon be returning to the spotlight. Valentine are said to be high on the shortlists of WCW and WWF. This story is still developing and we will bring you more news as we get it.

Razor Ramon and Bob Backlund vs The Hart Brothers will headline WWF Summerslam.

Indy wrestler Glenn Gilberti makes it to the big league. Gilberti has signed a contract with WCW. According to reliable sources, Gilberti is to be repackaged and given a unique gimmick.

Video Highlights from the recent Saturday Night match between Ricky Steamboat vs Lord Steven Regal. In a bout that had great wrestling and great heat, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat defeated Lord Steven Regal in 15:45 by pinfall with a Diving Crossbody. During the match we also had "Stunning" Steve Austin run in and attack Steamboat. Ricky Steamboat makes defence number 1 of his WCW United States Championship title. Regal can't believe his eyes, his normally arrogant expression is replaced with utter disgust. He was in control his with high level of technical catch wrestling, but despite his technical skills he did lose the match. The WCW fans goes wild, while Steamboat celebrates the victory.

The contract status of announcer Jim Ross with WWF was clarified last night, when an announcement on the company web site confirmed that he had signed an extension, keeping him with the promotion long-term. Neither party was available for further comments.

Virgil staying with WWF. The rumours of the past week were confirmed last night, when WWF officially announced that they have successfully completed the contract extension of Virgil, who will be remaining a key member of their roster for the forseeable future.

WCW could be opening a developement territory in the Mid Atlantic region. Insiders have commented that the WCW President Eric Bischoff is considering the idea. We expect further developements over the next week.

The contract status of Koko B. Ware with WWF was clarified last night, when an announcement on the company web site confirmed that he had signed an extension, keeping him with the promotion long-term. Neither party was available for further comments.

Based on reports WCW and NJPW are considering the return of the co-promoted event "WCW/New Japan Supershow". The event are rumoured to take place in january 1995. More news as we get it.

The Rock 'N Roll Express staying with WWF. The rumours of the past week were confirmed last night, when WWF officially announced that they have successfully completed the contract extensions of Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson, who will be remaining key members of their roster for the forseeable future.

Better watch out Asaemon...WWF will be hot on your heels with these big extensions...

I wish that the AI could use the WWF roster in a more effective way, so that they might deliver stiffer competition. I also wish that they could sign some talented free agents like Jake Roberts that would strenghten their roster.

Otherwise maybe i have to wait for ECW to grow to get some serious competition. I've tweaked the ECW product so that its more like the future ECW product from MA (pop = perf) instead of just pop.

In a bout that had great wrestling and heat, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat defeated Japanese superstar The Great Muta in 16:30 by pinfall with a Diving Crossbody following botched interference by "Stunning" Steve Austin. Austin can't believe his eyes that Steamboat did win the match, but quickly retreats to the backstage area. The Great Muta and Sonny Onoo doesn't seem very happy with the botched interference and it seems like Austin made the right decision to leave arena before the The Great Muta could get hold of him. Ricky Steamboat makes defence number 2 of his WCW United States Championship title.

Craig Pittman in 5:43 by pinfall with a 187. Pittman is furious after his failure to make Konnan paying his dues. The youngster quickly retreats from the ring, while Pittman is having a angry verbal outburst. "You little scumbag! I've got your name! I've got your ass! You will not laugh! You will not cry! You will learn by the numbers and I will teach you!"

WCW Security swarms the arena and struggles to get the situation under control, before finally managing to overpower Sgt. Craig Pittman.

It seems like the next wrestler that gets in Pittmans way, is going to pay for todays defeat.

During the match we also had big menacing monster heel Bam Bam Bigelow distract Sting. "The Beast From The East" are threatening Sting and demands a title shot, but is quickly escorted by WCW Security to the backstage area. Sting makes defence number 5 of his WCW Int. World Heavyweight Championship title.

Despite being heel Slazenger seemed to have a cult following among the fans, who’d chant for him when he was in the ring during the match.

The contract status of Jacques Rougeau with WWF was clarified last night, when an announcement on the company web site confirmed that he had signed an extension, keeping him with the promotion long-term. Neither party was available for further comments.

WCW President Eric Bischoff confirms the new developement territory. Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling is a professional wrestling promotion located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The "territory" covers Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. "Mr Wonderful" Paul Orndorff has been appointed the new CEO, while Ole Anderson has been appointed the new head booker.

Bastion Booger staying with WWF. The rumours of the past week were confirmed last night, when WWF officially announced that they have successfully completed the contract extension of Bastion Booger, who will be remaining a key member of their roster for the forseeable future.

WWF re-sign The Underfaker. The contract status of The Underfaker with WWF was clarified last night, when an announcement on the company web site confirmed that he had signed an extension, keeping him with the promotion long-term. Neither party was available for further comments.

Rumour has it that WWF are planning to focus heavily on a feud between The Warrior & Davey Boy Smith vs Jerry Lawler & Bret Hart in the coming months. Insiders have commented that the tag team storyline is set to be the focal point of the promotion for at least the next six months.
