Rizin Fighting Federation boss Noboyuki Sakakibara announced that his "Emperor" will fight at the New Year's Eve show on December 31! <strong>Fedor Emelianenko</strong> (36-4-1NC, 1-0 Rizin), Prides greatest fighter, will take on japanese MMA-legend <strong>Kazuyuki Fuyita</strong> (15-10, 0-1 Rizin) in an Heavyweight bout. Fuyita lost recently to the young czech Jiri Prochazka in April at Rizin FF 1, but he asks for this opportuniy to fight Fedor to settle his lost against the russian back in 2003.</p><p> </p><p>

47 years old <strong>Kazushi Sakuraba</strong> (26-17-1-2NC, 0-1 Rizin) is on the hunt for another Gracie, again! The "Gracie Hunter" will fight against <strong>Kron Gracie</strong> (2-0, 2-0 Rizin) in a Middleweight bout to prove that he can "kill" another Gracie family member. Kron, still undefeated, is looking forward to the bout with Sakuraba and said that he will submit Sakuraba and send him to a retirement home.</p><p> </p><p>

Also in action: Legendary dutch Kickboxer <strong>Andy Souwer</strong> (1-0, 1-0 Rizin) will be in action against New Japan Pro Wrestling champion <strong>Katsuyori Shibata</strong> (4-11-1) at Middleweight. Shibatas recent fight was back in 2010 against Satoshi Ishii, but the japanese wants to prove that he is a legit fighter at Mixed Martial Arts and Rizin is the best way to prove it, said Shibata.</p></div><p></p><p></p>

Bernardo Magalhaes out of action!

 

Brazilian fighter Bernardo Magalhaes is injured and won't compete at Rizin World Grand-Prix 2016: 2nd Round on September 25, 2016 in Saitama, Japan. The former UFC fighter has sustained a spine injury and will be out for three months.

 

The fight against Cruickshank is off, the american won't be compete in September either. The "Detroit Superstar" didn't accept a new opponent on short notice, he will meet a new opponent at the end of the year.
