<p>Friendly note to late arrivers: we got onto a new page just a couple of posts after Sin, so you might've missed the fact that it got posted.</p><p> </p><p>

It's a good thing I finished a couple of hours ago, because my brain is fried right now...</p><p> </p><p>

NEW FIREPRO! FIREPRO! FIREPRO! ONLINE MULTIPLAYER FIREPRO!</p><p> </p><p>

<p>Satyr24 - You sure? It went away around the time Hogan came, so I've always assumed it was to look more like the WWF.</p><p> </p><p>

Another shot of the ramp for those who are curious.</p><p> </p><p>

Anyways, loved this "B" PPV. There was just enough to hold on. Disappointed there was no reveal of who the new guy is, but set it up nicely for Superbrawl, leaving many options in the air for Clash of the Champions as well - Booker/Steiner, Booker/RVD, RVD/Rey, RVD/Booker. The highlight was Piper's Pit, just a great great segment to further build and explain the animosity to continue, as well as explain why Candido/TAKA would be with Bischoff.</p>

The guys like Pillman and Brad Armstrong.</p><p> </p><p> Good stuff on Sin. Personally I think that if I make it back around to January in my game, I'm likely not going to get rid of most of those PPV names, because I don't care for them. But I have a theme to stay with for now. Anyways, the show reminded me a lot of an In Your House where the results weren't really in much doubt, but we were set for some good action.</p>

<p>January 2002: Sin Wrap-up</p><p> </p><p> <em>Not a ton to note from tonight's show.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> Evan Karagis was brought before the wrestler's court by Ric Flair, apparently for not shaking his hand. Some would call it an outdated tradition, but I can see where Ric's coming from.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> I heaped lots of praise on RVD and The Destroyer for delivering a great main event, and they were both pretty happy about that. I also publicly reprimanded Luger and let him know that continued mediocrity like this wasn't going to be accepted. Lex didn't really react to that. I wonder if he figures his job is safe because he's Sting's buddy. If so, he's wrong.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> Corino came to me after the show to request a raise, and I gave him 75% of his requested amount. The six month contest to determine the UFS will stay as is, from July through December, but the first six months of the year will now be split into two three month contests. I figure that'll give more people a chance to win something with three annual contests instead of two, and I also think the UFS contest deserves to be longer than the others.</p><p> </p><p> Story time <em>(with Adam Cole baybay)</em>: I ran Sin, then immediately there was the headline that NJPW had bought and disbanded AJW. Seeing that note put the idea in my head about going back and buying them out myself, which would help me and also give some of their top talent steady work instead of just being kicked to the curb like NJPW was going to do. Thus I restored the temporary file so I could buy out AJW. Doing so meant I had to redo Sin, which I wasn't exactly thrilled about.</p><p> </p><p> Most of the matches got roughly the same score until we got to the final three. The tag and US title matches both pulled a B+ the first time, but as you saw they fell to a B on the redo. After seeing that I had a very bad feeling about the main event, but obviously that match turned out great. It was an 89, so I guess it was no less than .1 or .01 or whatever the fraction would be to push it into the A range. The first time I ran that match?</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="font-size:18px;">B-.</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="demondragonking" data-cite="demondragonking" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43035" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Props to you as normally I'm not much or a Real World diary reader, but after popping in here on a curious whim, yours is one I will continue to follow to see the outcomes of. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like it's going to be an option right away, because none of the broadcasters think I can support a third TV show at my current level. He wants the guys (and now girls) to be skilled in the ring and put on good matches regardless of the nature of the finish, so merely having a great look and charisma isn't enough to take you to the top here. (It obviously helps though!)</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Satyr24" data-cite="Satyr24" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43035" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I remember hearing the cruiserwieght didn't like that stage, as they couldn't do their dives to the outside because it was in the way</div></blockquote><p> I can see how that would be inconvenient, since the three other sides of the ring don't have as much room on the outside.</p>

Maybe that's by design?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Honestly, I'd call it more of a TEW flaw. Companies like AJW and LLPW tend to crap out pretty quick in Hive's mods also. If it were only in Gen's stuff, then I would feel it is something with his mods, but it isn't. I feel it could - <em>could, very possibly</em> - be due to how even though it's been 20 years almost, TEW could look in a mirror and still see a shade of EWR in itself, which was made to be played in the 1998 Attitude Era as the WWF or WCW. Women's wrestling was still just a sideshow then, which means the AI doesn't know what to do with it. A human player can make it work, because we can book to certain strengths that the AI doesn't "think" of, but typically a women's match is likely going to be your "calm the crowd" bout in the WWF. Not saying that there haven't been innovations and fixes like The Bayley Effect, but generally, you're probably just meant to have women on the roster to shoot t-shirts and stand there looking half-naked.</p><p> </p><p> Just a theory. <span style="font-size:8px;">(a game theory.)</span></p>

Fan Prediction: Which team will win the Ultimate Fan Series? (Getting this right is worth three points in the current prediction contest.)

<hr noshade size=3>

What if you run events (even a weekly one) with tv showing them. It may hurt your ppv buy rates for a little bit there but it might be a workaround to the issue for now. And if you run in Japan it should still keep your overness up.

Hmm...something to consider.

I'm going with the #2 seed the Agents of Chaos.

I like the Dustin Rhoades factor as the #4 guy over other teams and The Steiners as the tag team is the best tiebreaker in the group.

I was leaning to the Staight Edge Suckas but I'm didn't like the Booker-Chavo tag team for tie-breakers

I was really wanting to put at least one bigger guy on my team but I seen Daniel Bryan (American Dragon) was still an option and I couldn't help myself. The UFS shot AJ Styles up the card last time and I hoped that this would do the same for him!

I think as a team they will gel well if anything. I have to go with my team!

No way anybody stands up to the Agents of Chaos! They are my fan prediction, of course! <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<p><strong>Observing Wrestling February 2002: Ultimate Fan Series Preview Edition!</strong></p><p> </p><p>

In a Christmas in July feel, the biggest WCW event of the summer has returned... in February. We're in love with the Ultimate Fan Series -- which lived up to its name. Amateur manager and bucket hat enthusiast Kevin "The Ghoul" Gaines had the right connections pull off victory in a terrific fall brawl match against Stanley "Satyr" Tyrone's team, "The Hopeful Few". </p><p> </p><p>

Booker T and Sting had a heated feud to win the spoils, with The Stinger splashing his way over into a match with Steiner. No word on who will manage The Stinger or The Sucker, but implications are heavy for both. </p><p> </p><p>

As always, Observing Wrestling has scooped some major players in the 2002 edition! We've heard that defending champion Kevin Gaines and runner-up "Satyr" will be making a grand return. Apparently, Gaines will manage WCW World Champion Rob Van Dam -- the two apparently get along backstage well, dabbling in recreational activities after WCW tapings. </p><p> </p><p>

It will be interesting to see how the two pair with returning member AJ Styles. Kevin grew up relatively close to Mr. Styles, but the dedicated grappler sometimes struggles to fit in backstage -- he doesn't really like to party, and occasionally the boys get on The Phenomenal One when he gets preachy about his Christian Faith.</p><p> </p><p>

Stanly Tyrone will be partnering with James Mitchell, electing to run with Mr. Mitchell's original clients -- Vampiro and The Destroyer. He will have the size to take home the gold, but does he have the skill? So far, both Gaines and Tyrone look evenly matched. </p><p> </p><p>

Our operatives within WCW managed to get the scoop on "The Empire" members affiliation. A young man named Mike Storm -- nephew of WCW tag-team champion Lance Storm -- will work with both Cruiserweight Champion TAKA and Chris "The Impact Player" Candido. Observing Wrestling has thrown their support behind Mike, and we think that his team "The Crew" will take home gold with Mr. Bischoff's help. </p><p> </p><p>

With a full reveal promised soon, we at Observing Wrestling are looking forward to your predictions in the UFS. Remember, we're currently holding a contest for the most correct predictions, and the winner will receive a "5 Stars" Observing Wrestling tank top! </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Uncrewed's Crew (#5 Uncrewed) will win the UFS!</strong></p>

We've heard that defending champion Kevin Gaines and runner-up "Satyr" will be making a grand return. Apparently, Gaines will manage WCW World Champion Rob Van Dam -- the two apparently get along backstage well, dabbling in recreational activities after WCW tapings. </p><p> </p><p> It will be interesting to see how the two pair with returning member AJ Styles. Kevin grew up relatively close to Mr. Styles, but the dedicated grappler sometimes struggles to fit in backstage -- he doesn't really like to party, and occasionally the boys get on The Phenomenal One when he gets preachy about his Christian Faith.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Stanly Tyrone</strong> will be partnering with James Mitchell, electing to run with Mr. Mitchell's original clients -- Vampiro and The Destroyer. He will have the size to take home the gold, but does he have the skill? So far, both Gaines and Tyrone look evenly matched. </p><p> </p><p> Our operatives within WCW managed to get the scoop on "The Empire" members affiliation. </p><p> </p><p> With a full reveal promised soon, we at Observing Wrestling are looking forward to your predictions in the UFS. Remember, we're currently holding a contest for the most correct predictions, and the winner will receive a "5 Stars" Observing Wrestling tank top! </p><p> </p><p> Uncrewed's Crew (#5 Uncrewed) will win the UFS!</p></div></blockquote><p> Who the hell is Stanly Tyrone and why are you telling people he is associated with me and my team the Hopeful Few</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="crackerjack" data-cite="crackerjack" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43035" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I'll go with <strong>Uncrewed's Crew.</strong> Sleeper pick is Satyr's Hopefuls.
