EVR: Is everyone enjoying the Ozeki Summit tournament matches so far? I know I am. It sure is entertaining watching guys beat each other up just for the right to lose to me. You see, I have literally travelled the world becoming a champion, and after winning the UPJ International championship in December, I’m sure as hell not giving up this belt so fast.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

EVR: You see, this is going to be the year of EVR. I am going to stake out my claim as the face of this company and build my legacy and not one of you backstage can stop me with the RENEGADES by my side. Good luck competing, because in the end, you will all, be, erased.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

This round two Ozeki Summit tournament matchup saw two UPJ veterans lock horns. Unfortunately for the fans, with both men declining physical abilities, it ended up being disappointed for the fans compared to what they have come grow and love from UPJ. The two puroresu style fighters did a lot of back forth trading of strikes throughout the bout with each trying to prove who is toughest. In the end, Deguchi was able to get the upper hand and hit his running knee to the head to pick up the victory.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Another round two matchup in the Ozeki Summit Tournament, this match saw two large men ready to batter each other to death. Nagata: While I do hope that’s true long term, I think there’s other things to probably worry about in the short term. Try and learn as much as you can from the veterans on the roster.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In fast pace six man cruiserweight tag action, the elite team of Kozue, SHIMIZU and Goto put on a clinic against the lesser talented team. Other than the legend Thunder Iesada getting to do his signature moves to get the fans to cheer, much of the action was very one sided towards the winning team. Tiger Singh won the Battle Royale at the last PPV to win a shot at the reigning champ Furosuto. Furosuto has been locked in a feud with former champion and stable rival, Kozue. The match starts with Furosuto taunting Kozue and playing games with him but Tiger quickly makes Furosuto pay by knocking Furosuto down and taking control of the offense. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Tiger continues to control the match as Furosuto looks surprised and not sure what hit him, DELHI DRIVER! Near fall as Furosuto is just able to kick out of Tiger’s finisher. Furosuto pops up to his feed with a look of both shock and anger. Tiger rushes forward only to be tripped up and then poked in the eye! Furosuto hits the First Sign of Frost and is able to pick up the cheap win.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In the main event of the evening, we also get the last round two matchup of the Ozeki tournament. The 18 year old Gao Xi, who managed to pick up a surprise victory last week, is forced to take on the fuming, steam rolling Kato who is out for revenge against EVR and RENEGADES after costing Kato the tag team titles. The match saw Kato maintain the dominant position for most of the match with Gao Xi getting in very little offense but getting the fans cheering behind the young lion. Kato has finally had enough playing when he hits the Zero Point Slam.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Out comes EVR Running down to the ring though!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Kato exits the ring and runs to meet EVR at the bottom of the entrance ramp but EVR hits a running elbow to Kato’s head knocking him down. EVR picks up Kato and throws him into the ring steps then slams his head off them again! EVR rolls Kato into the ring and is yelling at Gao to get the pin! Starting with the main event finish, we saw a VERY upset Kato take out his frustrations. Is his time in the tournament done? Is the 18 year old Xi going to be winning it all with 2 points? That is, if he is healthy enough to continue. I’ll have to deal with him and EVR later.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

BURNING Toyotomi debut! Furosuto has been owning the Junior division the early part of the year as he always seems to pull it off against Kozue. How does the debuting BURNING fit into the picture? He was certainly on my radar but wasn't expecting to sign him so soon. When he reached out that his contract was expiring of course we were interested.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

We also had some great matches in the Ozeki Summit tournament with INK and Ram delivering along with Yamawaki and Eda delivering as well. The tournament is always exciting, can’t wait to see who ends up in the finals!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

InDominance assaulted HashiWara who I will also deal with next week along with EVR and his RENEGADES. Gotta figure a way to get them in line…</div><p> </p></div><p></p>

Keep up the good work!

Great work on the UPJ Jester! I was not predicting because I didn't had time(busy with exams and stuff) and didn't know anything about UPJ except that they were going through crisis and they have modern day Hiroshi Tanahashi mixed with old school Ric Flair in the form of Kintaro Kinjo.

Great Graphics! You are not running on touring schedule, I suppose.

Also if someone is in a crisis and has new ownership it makes sense things would change, instead of staying the norm.</p><p> </p><p> For the next tournament (Which I think is the Junior cup) I will do more specific extra "touring" events to align more with how NJPW does tournies such as 19 straight days for G1</p><p> </p><p> Basically trying to keep the aura of traditional Japan while blending some slightly more "modern" aspects of wrestling. I have angles, but they're usually short and sweet to continue story lines and usually involve a beat down (like if you watch a NJPW event) and I don't have sex appeal or zombie un-dead guys. Also trying to keep as many references as possible, like Captain UPJ (Captain NJP) becoming SKull Warrior like Captain NJP becoming BONE SOLDIER</p><p> </p><p> Next show should be up tonight, but I have to make a new graphic for it</p>

EVR: Des Miller and Aydan Farrell of InDominance have a match later this evening so they can’t join us, but I think you get the picture. These two teams have been feuding all year but this is the first time they have gone one on one in a fair fight. After botching a cheap attack that see’s InDominance collide with one another, HashiWara hits their fan favorite Live Wire double team finisher for the three count win.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

This is the match most of the fans could be heard talking about in the crowd tonight with many saying it should have been the main event. Fans have been talking all week about Kato, many supporting him in his frustrations over EVR and RENEGADES while many others saying what he did the poor newcomer Gao Xi was completely uncalled for.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In the other corner, TOKI INK has been very impressive so far in the tournament. The young big man has been improving his in ring work, which combined with his aggressive and fierce nature is proving to be quite dangerous. If this is not his year for the Ozeki Summit, it seems his year is not far off.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The much larger INK starts off the match in control which vicious strikes right away followed by painful holds on Kato. INK has his way for about ten minutes before Kato is able to turn the tides with a running kick to the face.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

From then on out Kato seems furious and pissed off like a fire has awoken inside him as he begins pelting INK with kick after kick to the chest until INK’S chest is welting red. Breathing heavily and angrily Kato picks INK up for the Zero Point Slam finisher and the win.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Nagata: I know you’re pissed at EVR and I let what you did early go. However attacking random workers like TOKI and Gao last week is completely unacceptable. Gao was just released from the hospital yesterday so it’s a good thing this was his bye week in the tournament, otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to compete. The good news is that I am told he will be able to compete next week.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>The crowd cheers knowing that Gao is okay</em></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Nagata: Kato, I’m going to make you a deal. Keep your hands off my workers, and if you win the Ozeki Summit, I’ll give you EVR in a no holds barred match. Deal?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Diablo opened the match overpowering Kintaro, however Kintaro quickly gained the offensive using his superior technical ability to take on the big man. These guys are adults but the amount of drama created is getting a little nuts.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Not sure how to react to Kato creating his Alchemy ZERO stable, on one hand it partially solves my RENEGADES problem with EVR thinking he runs the place. On the other hand it’s only going to create more drama and more fights. Hopefully everyone stays healthy enough for us to put on a show!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In the Junior division things are picking up with the addition of BURNING Toyotomi. I’ll have to figure out what do for the PPV between him and Furosuto and Kozue who is still in the hunt seeking revenge.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Next week is the last TV show before the PPV, so I’ll have to find a way to organize and finalize things by then…</div></div><p></p>

In the A block finale, the legendary Deguchi goes one on one with the future of UPJ Oda Yamawaki. This is the first time the two men have faced each other one on one and a match that the fans have been talking about all week.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The match starts slow with each worker respecting the other. Oda takes his time stretching and cracking his knuckles while Juro plays to the crowd getting them hyped up. Deguchi takes control early with many leg kicks to Oda, as Juro tries to chop down the larger Heavyweight. After more strikes Deguchi puts Oda in and out of some choke holds, once again trying to slow down the larger man.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Towards the middle of the fight, Oda is able to start using his size and strength advantage to obtain control of the fight. Stiff heavy knee strikes wobble Duguchi allowing Oda to hit him with some heavy slams and suplexes.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

As the two men tire towards the end of the fight, Deguchi rallies thanks to the cheers of the crowd. He fights back with strike after striking looking to capitalize and set up his running knee finisher, however Oda is able to get his hands on Juro quickly hitting his Tokyo Tower (Spinning Tombstone) finisher and getting the win.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Kintaro Kinjo vs. Kato</strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In the last match of the night and B block finals, Ace and face of UPJ Kintaro Kinjo goes toe to toe with Kato, the former tag team champion who has been on an aggressive tear lately. Each man a former International champion and each man eager to get to the Ozeki Summit finale to get their chance at EVR.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The match begins with Kato aggressively going after Kintaro, ignoring referee orders to break holds or stop striking when Kintaro reaches the ropes. Kato is showing that he is here to win at any cost and Kintaro is just an object in his path. Kato continues his aggressive strikes and stiff holds until the referee has finally had enough of Kato not listening and physical pulls him off Kintaro.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The referee restraining Kato is enough to let Kintaro gain control of the match as he’s now able to let his cooler head prevail by ducking and avoiding Kato’s strikes as Kintaro transitions from submission hold to submission hold causing Kato all sorts of joint pains and making it hard to breathe.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

As the finish to the match approaches, the fans are actually surprising not as involved as one would think. Perhaps partially because they are burned out from the previous amazing matches this evening. Kintaro looks well on his way to victory as he goes for the Heir to the Throne (Falcon Arrow) but Kato slips over the back, setting Kintaro perfectly up for the Zero Point Slam (Angle Slam) getting a somewhat surprising pin and win over the Ace of the promotion.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In our opening match to kick off the Ozeki Summit, we see a matchup between two competitors in separate blocks during the tournament. The veteran Harada seems in control early but when he goes to lock in his Cloverleaf finisher early, INK is able to quickly power out gaining control of the match. Stiff strike after stiff strike, INK even bites Harada’s ear! It isn’t long after before INK hits the INK SINK (fireman carry spinebuster) for the win.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In a junior tag team matchup, long time team HashiWara takes on youngsters Aleki Puafisi and Ebi Kadivar. Kadivar and Puafisi have surprisingly shown great chemistry while teaming together in house shows leading to Puafisi getting the shot up on the main stage. Unfortunately for him, he and Kadivar are no match for the veteran tag team who picks up the easy win tonight.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

After a flamboyant entrance with fans who won his latest social media contest, Dustin LeFever enters the ring to take on the veteran Kobiashi. Unfortunately the crowd were totally turned off by having jobbers on the show, with many fans booing and those who weren’t booing were probably going to the bathroom and checking out merchandising booths. The junior Death Smile stepped up a weight class to go against Bruiser Cassidy and Takanori Sakurai, however his partner Ram Diablo is big enough to make up the size difference. The crowd didn’t rally buy into this thrown together no heat match, but the workers themselves did their best. Death Smile mainly went up against Sakurai instead of the super big Bruiser Cassidy, who squared off mainly with Ram Diablo. Eventually the large Ram was in the ring with Sakurai long enough to hit the Diablo Death Drop (Sitout Powerbomb) for the pin.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Pain & Toruture © vs. The Guardians</strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

It’s now time for the first title match of the evening, where the big bruising team of Pain & Torture takes on the recently debuting team of The Guardians. The Guardians are former tag team champions in UPJ but left the company in 2010, and after a few months of mysterious hype debut videos, they have returned to UPJ leaving the company DIASPORA to follow Kato in his Alchemy Zero stable. Meanwhile Pain & Torture who are long term book ends in UPJ, decided to take EVR up on his offer to join the primarily gaijin RENEGADES stable, in exchange for certainly some type of payment.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

This match with the definition of heavyweights, Pain & Torture each being big heavyweights while The Guardians being a Heavyweight and a Light Heavyweight. Hopefully the crew re-enforced the ring! The match begins with the big men exchanging but slowly pacing themselves with frequent tag outs. Each team seems content to pace themselves tonight and make the mistake of rushing things early.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Towards the middle of the match, Pain & Torture seem to be in control. The two larger men are using their size with moves such as clotheslines, shoulder blocks, and splashes to maintain the offensive advantage. The two large men of Pain & Torture then hit a double splash Hyotaru, taking his breath away and solidifying control of the match.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The tide begins to turn in favor of The Guardians towards the end of the match as Pain & Torture being to slow down. The large men are used to quickly putting away opponents with their great power but even after a few near falls The Guardians are still standing. Hyotaru is able to hit his Chogoku-Spike (pulling piledriver) on Pain, but Torture comes running in to break up the pin. GUSHIKEN then comes in though and hits his GUSHIKEN Driver on Torture. Hyotaru and GUSHIKEN then hit their finishers side by side once again on Pain & Torture simultaneously pinning them for the win and tag titles!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

It is now time for the Junior Heavyweight championship match. Furosuto has done everything possible to hold onto the title and keep it away from the former champion Kozue. Kozue has been furious at Furosuto and his cheating ways, however he has been unable to take the title back. However at the same time, no one else in the division has stepped up or come as close as Kozue has. Meanwhile BURNING Toyotomi only recently came back to UPJ signing a contract this month; however he has quickly earned his way into a title match, is he the new blood needed to dethrone Furosuto?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The match opens with the three men punching away at each other until Furosuto kicks each of them in the groin allowing him to gain control. Furosuto then begins to work some holds on Kozue until Toyotomi gets back in the picture but then Furosuto pokes him in the eye to maintain control.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Kozue is able to gain control towards the middle of the match as he finally exposes Furosuto’s weakness and uses his superior technical ability to show him who’s boss. BURNING Toyotomi even helps Kozue in attacking Furosuto, eventually both tossing him outside of the ring leaving Kozue and BURNING Toyotomi to battle in out in the ring.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

After battling one on one for quite some time, Kozue is able to achieve control over BURNING Toytomi to hit the K-Drop and going for the pin but Furosuto comes back into the ring to take out Kozue and try to pin Toyotomi himself! Toyotomi is just able to kick out at 2 as he had just enough time to recover. Back to his feet Toyotomi hits his BURNING Cutter (springboard cutter) on Furosuto! Then as Kozue is getting back to his feet, Toyotomi hits a BURNING cutter on him team for good measure then gets the 1,2,3 pin!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

It is now time for the finale to the month long Ozeki Summit tournament event. Each man has had to battle through obstacles to get where they are, and here they finally lock horns. Many have pitched Oda Yamawaki as the future of UPJ as he has all the tools to get the job done and has been putting on stellar matches as of late with all the star quality to lead the company as Ace. Kato on the other hand won both the Ozeki Summit and UPJ International championship two years ago, and now looks to repeat his success. Kato came into this year as UPJ International Tag Team champion but was screwed over by EVR and his RENEGADES, with Kato now seeking his revenge. Which one will be crowned as champion and get their shot at EVR next month?</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The match opens up with the two men slowly circling each, sizing the other man up, however Kato quickly moves forward attacking Yamawaki! Kato continues to club Yamawaki in the back until the referee forces the break. Kato lets Oda up but as soon as he gets to his feet Kato runs forward drilling his knee to Oda’s chest then continues to beat Oda in the back until the ref breaks them again. Kato then mounts the downed Oda and elbows him repeatedly in the head, even busting Oda open and causing blood! Blood has been spilled early in the Ozeki Summit finale…</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Kato maintains control for most of the match with vicious strikes on Oda, consistently forcing the referee to get involved to force a break. Oda is able to turn the tables when he hits the Tokyo Tower (Spinning Tombstone Pile Driver) out of nowhere! Yamawaki has had very little offense so far this fight but just hit the biggest move of the match! The two men lay on the ground for quite a while as both men recover. When they finally get to their feet, Oda wins the grappling exchange allowing him to get in control for the first time of night.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Yamawaki continues his control over Kato by focusing on the neck and head area to weaken up Kato for his Tokyo Tower finisher. Yamawaki hits neck breakers and even a brainbuster to weaken Kato but it isn’t enough to put Kato away. Yamawaki has tried to hit another Tokyo Tower a few times but Kato always manages to slip out, staying alive for just a little while longer.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

As the match comes to a close, Yamawaki is finally able to hit a second Tokyo Tower (Spinning Tombstone Pilde driver) but Kato manages to barely kick out. As Oda sets up a third Tokyo Tower Kato counters with a kick to the groin! Oda winces in pain as Kato sets up his Zero Point Slam (Angle Slam) followed by the 1,2,3 pin to become a two time Ozeki Summit Champion!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

After reading your dynasty, I started a new game with UPJ. After that, I kinda expected Either KATO or Juro was going to win the tournament at the start. Needless to say, I am excited for the Main Event of dreams of dragons.

<p>Awesome glad you are trying UPJ!</p><p> </p><p>

Kato has been getting A* performances so I thought he deserved it and since him and Goto were on the outside of the initial "stable war" I thought he was a good wrench in the machine so to speak. The rest of the guys won't just stay quiet about it <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> almost had Oda win at last minute.</p><p> </p><p>

Kintaro is the obvious choice to win, but I don't like it when people just have the best guy win right away, like before with Rocky Golden taken the title off him right away. I viewed it as interesting challenge keeping the 3 biggest names off my PPV card, but I didn't want to lazy force them in a match either. I've got a few long term storylines setup so can't ruin those</p><p> </p><p>

That's part of the challenge! <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Took me a week to sit down and make some of the graphics I wanted, so hopefully this month shows will pick up faster.</p><p> </p><p>

My whole goal of doing a UPJ dynasty though was to expose people to something different, so I'm glad a few more people are trying a UPJ game now!</p><p> </p><p>

edit: I should note I was pretty sad that the Main Event only got a B <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I think did slow build but it said the match lacked psychology and drifted, even though both guys have B :/</p>

Minor note jester. Sean Girvan & Kris Pheonix's team is called The Arsenal but the match commentary calls them The Blockade.

Constantly enjoying this as well, I get very little time to read/check the forums most days but I make a point of checking in on this every time I see an update. :)

After another successful Ozeki Summit event, the show opens with a tag team match right away. The new tag team champions The Guardians were able to defeat Pain & Torture for the titles at Ozeki Summit, so tonight is a non-title match and more of a coronation ceremony for the new champs.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The match starts with the big men Guardians in control, playing to the crowd who are cheering for them after seeing the downfall of Pain and Torture who turned “cheated” to win by signing with the devil himself, EVR and The Renegades.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Towards the middle of the match however The Arsenal gets a new pin fall! Then another one! And another! Suddenly The Guardians have a shocked look on their face as this new team has nearly beaten the new champs! The Arsenal hits their Double Powerbomb on Hyotaru but GUSHIKEN manages to break it up to save the match.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

As the match heats up with back and forth action now that The Guardians are taking The Arsenal a bit more seriously, the fans begin to get behind the unexpected great show opening. The fans clap vigorously as big moves are hit and “oOOOOoooo” at near pin falls. Eventually GUSHIKEN hits the GUSHIKEN Driver (Michinoku Driver) on Girven while Ichigawa hits the Chugoku-Spike (Pulling Piledriver) on Phoenix at the same time for the double pin.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Switching action now to the Junior heavyweight division, we see the former RENEGADES member Aydan Farrell taking on UPJ newcomer this year Death Smile. Death Smile has been on a pretty good roll since coming to UPJ to help fill out the Junior heavyweight division but hasn’t worked his way up to challenge for the championship yet. Meanwhile Farrell has had quite the poor year, as he helped Pain & Torture win the tag team titles for RENEGADES only to be kicked out a little bit later.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In a fairly competitive match with some great basics and core wrestling ability, Death Smile was able to get the win after hitting his Malice’s Grin (Somersault Reverse DDT).</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Staying in the junior heavyweight division but this time it’s a tag team match. Upcoming talent SHIMIZU & Tiger Singh have had good success lately while the young Kadivar and aging Genji have struggled. After a successful showing at Ozeki Summit against Koji Yamada, the cock youngster loaded with star quality TEMPEST Masato takes on the veteran Takehide Harada. Masato has had a slow start to his year as he has been suspended twice, but will tell anyone who is willing to listen that he is ready to start rising up the UPJ roster and take what is his now.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Masato: Earlier this evening I was backstage when I heard about the UPJ Openweight title just like everyone else. I also heard Nagata say how whoever impresses will be in the match to crown the first ever champion. Now this striked me as a little odd, since if he was looking for a new champion, all he had to do was come backstage to find me. The choice is clear, I am the future of UPJ.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In the co-main event of the evening we see RENEGADES led by UPJ Heavyweight International Champion Erik van Rijn against FEARLESS led by promising up and coming Oda Yamawaki. RENEGADES had been in complete control of UPJ until the Ozeki Summit when we saw EVR’s newest rival Kato become the #1 contender. We also saw RENEGADES lose the Tag team titles from Pain & Torture as well as the Junior Heavyweight title from Furosuto at Ozeki Summit. Meanwhile Yamawaki and FEARLESS are still trying to make their mark upon UPJ, while the team is often battling for contention, they have yet to capture gold as a stable.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In an unsurprisingly back and forth match with the purpose of elevating both stables, RENEGADES picked up the win after EVR rutting a running forearm on Akito Nakada while Bruiser Cassidy holds down Yamawaki from breaking up the pin.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In what turned out to be a match of the year candidate with several near falls that really caused the fan to rise to their feet, HOTUT defeated Ignite ZERO as Kintaro Kinjo pinned Goto after hitting his Heir to the Throne (Falcon Arrow) as Kato was too busy beating down Juro Deguchi on the outside of the ring to notice his partner was being pinned.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In our opening match of the evening, we start in the junior division for tag team action. Tiger Singh and Death smile team up on one side with the common goal of working their way towards a title shot, while across the ring Hidetsugu Genji and Ebi Kadivar look to get back on their feet to get some momentum going.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Unfortunately for Genji and Kadivar, today is not the day for the turnaround as Tiger Singh pinned Genji after hitting his Delhi Driver (Cobra Clutch Driver).</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In our main event of the evening, we see our UPJ International Heavyweight Champion EVR and his RENEGADES against number one contender Kato and his Alchemy ZERO group. Also in this match we have the Tag team champions The Guardians representing Alchemy ZERO going against the tag team number one contenders and former champs Pain & Torture. In case that wasn’t enough, the Junior Heavyweight champion BURNING Toyotomi is here along with the number one contender who will be using his re-match clause at Dreams of Dragons, Furosuto.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Quite the action packed match! RENEGADES were ruling UPJ but Alchemy ZERO has quickly become their rival.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In a crazy and violent long main event, that somewhat dragged in the middle, each man seemed to have a personal grudge against the man standing across from him.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

After each man hit their finisher on an opponent, each hoping to be the last, Kato pinned Bruiser Cassidy with the Zero Point Slam after EVR sacrificed Cassidy to save himself.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">
