<p><em>Transcript of a chat conversation between Total Championship Wrestling CEO Kyle Rhodes and an unnamed BriCo representative.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Kyle Rhodes:</strong> Again I want to thank you for the honor of this CEO position. So far things seem to be going well.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>BriCo:</strong> Of course, sir. At this time, however, I have some directives from the company.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>KR:</strong> Okay, shoot.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>BriCo:</strong> At BriCo, we are always attempting to revolutionize any industry we touch. With that being said, we've attempted to take the baseball concept of analytics and apply it to professional wrestling. In this file, you will see a numerical breakdown of all workers we were able to identify as being active in the world.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>[Attached File]</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>KR:</strong> Very interesting. But that is a lot of numbers to go through.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>BriCo:</strong> We had one of the interns do some of that for you. We've developed a number we call a Push Index, which uses among other things, a worker's age, his popularity in the United States, and other factors. In this file, you'll see an analysis of the current TCW roster.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>[Attached File]</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>KR:</strong> Okay, and I see the forumula you used here. Straightforward enough. What are you recommending I do with this information?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>BriCo:</strong> Trim the dead weight.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>KR:</strong> Excuse me?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>BriCo:</strong> To be frank, Kyle, TCW is in danger of becoming obsolete. It's time to evolve, build new stars, and move in a positive direction. Using our Push Index, we've identified a group of wrestlers that we believe will achieve that objective. First off, <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Wolf Hawkins</span> stands head and shoulders against the rest of the roster. Behind him is <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Jay Chord</span>, whose youth lends itself well to building towards our future. The third worker identified is <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Rocky Golden</span> who is known as our figurehead and one of the most popular workers in the world. The big issues keeping Golden behind Hawkins and Chord are his age, as he's a few years behind both, and his lack of in-ring ability. However, Golden's popularity means he should still be a focal point of our shows.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>KR:</strong> Well, I'll be sure to pass this all on to Brent, if that's all.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>BriCo:</strong> In fact, there is. Take note of the Red X's in the Push Index column. Each of those workers falls at least 2 points under the average. Any worker that meets this criteria is not to be extended without very good cause.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>KR:</strong> I notice Ricky Dale Johnson is on that list. "The Cornerstone Cowboy" has that nickname for a reason, he's been with the company since the beginning.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>BriCo:</strong> While Ricky Dale Johnson has been an exceptional worker for a long time, at 45 years old, he is only going to decline from here. This is our chance to get ahead of the other companies and identify workers like Johnson, for whom an extension is only worse value over time.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>KR:</strong> While I see what you're saying, I think Johnson's popularity merits more consideration. But I can wait until July of next year to address it, when his contract comes due.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>BriCo:</strong> One more thing.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>KR:</strong> Oh great.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>BriCo:</strong> We've also identified a tool we call Prospect Index, for identifying wrestlers who may be better in the future. Unlike Push Index, Prospect Index doesn't take a wrestler's popularity into account, as they may be young and talented enough to acquire that over time. Prospect Index has also identified <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Killer Shark</span>, <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Mighty Mo</span> and <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Matt Hocking</span> as workers to push in the coming year. The green check marks in the file identify wrestlers in the top third of Prospect Index. We'd like to see more tv time and storyline focus devoted to the prospects identified.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>KR:</strong> Fine, okay. Let me go talk to Brent, he's the booker. I'll tell him what guys we've gotta focus on.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>BriCo:</strong> And one last thing. We'd like you to bring in an on-air authority figure. We've seen that fans respond well to characters of that nature. Beginning with Malice in Wonderland, we'd like to see an on-air authority figure on at least 3 of every 5 shows.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>KR:</strong> That one I can actually agree with. But now I've got to go. I have a meeting scheduled, but I promise, I'll get on this.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>BriCo:</strong> That's all we ask, Kyle. And we'll be watching.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Summary</strong></p><p>

</p><ul><li>The following workers are to be focused on in the near future, as identified by Push Index: <strong>Wolf Hawkins, Jay Chord, Rocky Golden, Aaron Andrews, Mighty Mo, Sammy Bach, Edd Stone & Killer Shark</strong>.<br /></li><li>The following workers are to be built up for the future, as identified by Prospect Index: <strong>Jay Chord, Killer Shark, Mighty Mo, Matt Hocking, Jeremie Courtney, Wolf Hawkins, Aaron Andrews, Elliot Thomas, Edd Stone & Titan</strong>.<br /></li><li>The following workers are not to be extended when their contracts expire, unless some special circumstance warrants their extension, or their status on the Push Index changes: <strong>Bart Biggins, Giant Tana, Chance Fortune, Troy Tornado, Flying Jimmy Foxx, Human Arsenal, Ricky Dale Johnson, Bryan Vessey, Nate Johnson, American Buffalo, Dazzling Dave Diamond, Danny Fonzarelli, Eddie Chandler, Joel Bryant, Brent Hill</strong>.<br /></li><li>By the end of January (Malice in Wonderland), we must introduce an on-air authority figure, to feature in at least 3 of every 5 shows.</li></ul><p></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>Notes:</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:8px;">

</span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:8px;">All of these goals are put forward by myself, with no input from the game. I'm playing as owner with Kyle Rhodes as my user character with no Fog of War.</span><br /></li><li><span style="font-size:8px;">The forumula for Push Index is: ((50-Age) x US Overness x Star Quality)/10000, with an additional point each for appearing on the Next Big Thing, Hot Prospect, Ring General, Showstopper or Talk The Talk lists.</span><br /></li><li><span style="font-size:8px;">Prospect Index is simply: ((35-Age) x Star Quality)/1000.</span><br /></li><li><span style="font-size:8px;">An interesting note, all contracts in the company expire within the first 2 years. This could be a lot more roster turnover than I expected.</span><br /></li><li><span style="font-size:8px;">Updates will be super sporadic, I think, as I'm moving a week from today and we have a new puppy that we've had for a week, but probably more consistent once the school year starts.</span><br /></li><li><span style="font-size:8px;">I couldn't come up with a clever title, so I went with the Broken Hardys reference.</span></li></ul>

TCW's Kyle Rhodes Announces Changes for 2016 Schedule

  • Total Mayhem 20 and Malice In Wonderland will both be 4 hour events.
  • The War To Settle The Score, Summer Showdown and Psycho Circus (the 3 Highly Regarded events) will all be 3 hours and 30 minutes.
  • All other monthly Pay-Per-View events have been extended to 3 hours.
  • Contract offers have been extended to a number of independent talents, whose names are being withheld until official TCW contracts are signed.

Diary/Dynasty Update: I just moved into a new, bigger apartment over the weekend, and I'm getting back into the game as I get some down time from unpacking/relocating boxes. I have a loose card for the January event Malice in Wonderland, but I don't want to get too into my first show until it's set in harder stone. Hoping to have a prediction card up for Total Wrestling by Sunday the 6th.

Notes:</p><ul><li>The "Battle Royal Participants" were Danny Fonzarelli, Eddie Peak, Benny Benson & Troy Tornado. The Battle Royal is scheduled for Malice in Wonderland at the end of January.<br /></li><li>Hocking pinned Hill with a "Flash Pinfall" roll-up. After the match, Hill looked furious. Also, Hill & Bryant displayed great chemistry as partners and may be in line to join the tag division.<br /></li><li>Rocky Golden is still furious over losing the World Title to Aaron Andrews, who refuses to give the former champion a second rematch despite Golden winning the first by Count Out.<br /></li><li>Bart Biggins defeated Jay Chord after Mighty Mo distracted Chord, allowing Biggins to roll him up. Biggins is now the #1 Contender for Marc Speed's International Title, which Speed took from Biggins a month ago.<br /></li><li>The three tag teams, The Canadian Animals (Edd Stone & Freddy Huggins), The Elite (Eddie Chandler & Nate Johnson) and Devine Fortune (Darryl Devine & Chance Fortune) all think they deserve to be #1 Contenders for the tag team titles.<br /></li><li>RDJ beat Marc Speed by DQ after interference by American Buffalo, not by Count Out as listed.<br /></li><li>No, we don't know who Vita's cousin is. She just said that he's Russian. Hmm..... <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><br /></li><li>Joshua Taylor picked up the fall for his team after forcing Titan to pass out in the unbreakable Butterfly Lock. Is this the fate in store for Wolf Hawkins down the line?<br /></li><li>Sammy Bach swore that he'd get revenge on Bryan Vessey at Malice in Wonderland, but while he's not cleared to compete yet, he'll be on color commentary for the main event.<br /></li><li>Vessey looked impressive as he knocked off Human Arsenal with Bach watching from commentary.<br /></li></ul><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

What do people think about this style of write up? Monthly events will get more detail for sure, but does this work for weekly shows?</p>

TCW Total Wrestling Quick Results

KzHBnsx.png

Notes:

  • Aaron Andrews kicked off the show trash talking Rocky Golden and promising to retain his title at Malice in Wonderland. Rocky showed up on the ramp and said that in 12 days, Andrews is going in The Rack, and he's going to tap out.
  • Jay Chord easily defeated Flying Jimmy Foxx to get back to his winning ways.
  • Danny Fonzarelli came down to the ring to talk about the Battle Royal at Malice in Wonderland. Eddie Peak answered and began to threaten Fonzarelli, but Benny Benson provided a distraction by mocking both. Troy Tornado and Giant Tana also came down and got a few words in, before unfamiliar music hit and Remmy Skye came down, declared himself for the Battle Royal and stated that he'd be winning it. All 5 TCW veterans tossed out Remmy, but then began to toss each other out, with Peak being the last man standing.
  • Ricky Dale Johnson defeated Joel Bryant in a competitive match with Floyd Goldworthy on commentary.
  • After the match, American Buffalo tried to attack RDJ but the Cornerstone Cowboy fended off the Man Beast.
  • Killer Shark nailed a Big Bite to knock off International Title #1 Contender Bart Biggins, though he was assisted by a distraction from Marc Speed.
  • After the match, Speed and The Behemoths united to beat down Biggins but The New Wave came to the ring with chairs and ran them off.
  • In a shock for his debut match, "Marksman" Kirk Jameson defeated Human Arsenal with a handful of tights.
  • After the match, Nelson Callum ran down, making his TCW debut, and began to attack Human Arsenal. With little prompting, Jameson joined in and the two beat down the former Machine.
  • In a matchup between half the participants in the #1 Contender Triple Threat Tag Match at Malice in Wonderland, Freddy Huggins defeated Eddie Chandler and Darryl Devine after both Chandler and Devine were absolutely destroyed by the arriving Marat Khoklov who seemed to be guided by Vita.
Edd Stone was with Vita and looked perplexed by the Russian Giant.
  • Joshua Taylor was backstage to talk to Wolf Hawkins, saying he would make Hawkins tap out at Malice in Wonderland because no one escapes the Butterfly Lock.
  • In the Main Event, Wolf Hawkins defeated Sammy Bach after Bach was attacked by "The Most Dangerous Man In Wrestling" Bryan Vessey. This was a very competitive match and many were disappointed by the result.
