  1. CGC Tag Team Title Match: Soldiers of Fortune vs Alex & Jack DeColt I could see you having the DeColts dropping the titles here with some Dalay interference just so they can enter Wrestlefestival as the challengers, I just think you might have something planned much more interesting than the Soldiers of Fortune to take the titles of the DeColts, even more with their time in the school of tradition being likely numbered because of the lack of chemistry with Tyler, so Im going with a succesful title defence. Hollywood Maverick & Biff the Bruiser vs Moose Mulder & Eddie Chandler I like to things the comments you make in the aftershow mean something, and with Moose Mulder having a match of the year candidate with Bowen, I think In Character and Out of character you might want to reward him with a man on TV and a victory, and we know that sooner rather than later Chandler will explode into the mainstream. John McClean vs Black Sheep Not much to say about this one, it could go to any of them, I just have predicted faces to win the other 2 matches so in theory a heel needs to win, so in doubt Im giving the win to McClean. Should WrestleFestival be televised? We're too small for a pay-per-view deal, but I could get it on free local TV . Or would that ruin the prestige? Part of me believes you should get as much eyes as possible in your product and getting it on any type of tv helps with that, but the most classic fan in me believes gifting it on free tv, hurts your live attendance and hampers your DVD sales, either option works, choose whichever you think will help you the most in the long run.
  2. CGC Canadian Title Match: Xander Robinson vs Dan DaLay Not much to0 say, seems to be another day in the office for Dan Dalay, he should have no problem dispatching Robinson. Land Mass vs Jake Sloan Theres something about CGC that has always favoured the big guys, and this doesnt seem to be any different, right now I see Land Mass and Mammoth as the most serious threat for The DeColt Brothers Tag Title reign, so they need to be kept strong, and this little victories end up helping. No.1 Contender Match: Barry Bowen vs Ed Monton vs Eric Tyler vs Howling Dog vs Jon Jetson vs Steve Flash Barry Bowen right now its the unstoppable machine, it seems just natural to put him against the immovable object that is Steve DeColt, even if he doesn't take the title this would be the toughest challenge DeColt would have, for me this would be the most believable result.
  3. CGC World Title Match: Jon Jetson vs Steve DeColt I'm really curious about how Jon Jetson will do as a single wrestler, and if he will stay one or return to the tag division. The part the confuses me is in promos Roger Rogers is still refering to the Canadian Enforcers as if it still is a team, so I don't know if they are planning to choose someone else to team up with Jetson or bring someone from outside the company to do it, also with the power of hindsight we know Jon Jetson was always the weak link of the team in the canon, but it would be nice to see him triumph in your version of the story, and it would be nice to see him develop into a singles heel, CGC could always use more established heel wrestlers to be credible threats for the DeColts, I would not be against either choice, I just hope Jetson manages to break his glass ceiling. Now about the match, I don't see him taking the title of DeColt yet, he has not established as a top player yet, and he seems to be really occupied with Ed Monton and their feud, so I don't think we need to involve the world title in that, if you want to protect Jetson, you could always have Ed interfere and cost him the title shot, not really a face thing to do, but I think someone who just turned has the right to still be a bit heelish, it would be not credible for someone evil to just go to be a wholesome person immediatley, Ed Monton can be a face and still be ruthless with Jetson. Hollywood Johnny Maverick vs Eddie Chandler I usually wouldn't be able to choose between the 2 prospects, who I know might have good careers in the future, usually it would be difficult to choose who has to lose, but I have all other matches being won by babyfaces so we need to give the heel the win in this one. Switchblade Mike vs Alex DeColt Mike is an interesting case, because under the right circumstances he can be a passable talent, but everything that got him over on DAVE are things you wouldnt see on the Family Friendly product that is CGC, so he just ends up being a blank personality guy, without any of the things that make him good, so this should be another win for Alex DeColt, this time in singles action. But I expect we will see the school of tradition try to mess around with this one. ... and a Valentine's Day Battle Royal where the winner gets a date with Helen Wheels. Let's go with Jack DeColt, in first place this is CGC, and the DeColts always winning meme has to come from somewhere. Second it creates an interersting issue between Jack, Alex and Helen that if it exists in this universe can always come to fruition later, the brothers don't always need to be on the same page with each other. Third it brings Land Mass and Mammoth into the Tag Title picture and might be the beggining of a feud or one off match, either as a set up from Helen Wheels tricking the DeColts into a title match, or out of Jealousy from the giants if Helen begins being to chummy with the DeColts.
  4. Grudge Match: Barry Bowen vs Steve Flash This is something that's been hyped since the beggining of the year, right now with just the counter you have managed to build the reputation of Barry Bowen, as a maniac, dangerous and an unstoppable force, I believe that any other result than a win would squander all the good faith you built with the promos about his return, I see him as the most believable threat to Steve DeColts World Championship in the near future, even more than Eric Tyler, Steve Flash is a legend in the flesh, but he is also well known to be old school, he will look at the lights if its best for business, he is believable enough that when Bowen beats him it will mean something, the only case when I could see Bowen lose is in a Rage DQ, but that would feel cheap and just overextending the story far beyond what is needed. John McClean & ????? vs Black Sheep & Battering Lamb Usually it's not smart to bet against a ????, but in recent weeks we have seen the Flock win convincingly single matches, in theory that should mean they should be better as a team, even more since they have beaten McClean before, it all depends who his partner is, but it would need to be someone really important for me to flip this result. Biff the Bruiser vs Howling Dog I seem to be going against the majority on this one, no big explanation, I like Howling Dog more and I see him as a better prospect.
  5. CGC Tag Team Titles: Soldiers of Fortune vs Alex & Jack DeColt In my opinion is too early for a title change, the DeColt brothers seem to be in the beggining of their reign and hotshotting the titles off them, seems rushed, if its really going to happen is more likely will happen on an event instead of free TV, also I think the moment the DeColts lose the title should be because they are ready to bounce back to another storyline instead of just losing their titles and be left floating in the ether, a personal opinion, I think the Soldiers of Fortune are only part of the school of tradition in this diary, is because historically they were part of the team, but I dont feel the click together with Eric Tyler, I feel we havent seen the final version of the school of tradition, I think sooner rather than later, Eric Tyler will grow tired with the soldiers, and we will see a new team to take their place on the team, and I think is that new team which will take the titles at some point. Biff The Bruiser vs Eddie Chandler This is a complete toss up for me, too early in both their careers to really tell, Im just going with the one who historically has the better career, also I see much more potential, and differente ways of evolving in Chandler, meanwhile Bruiser seeems to one dimensional for me. John McClean vs Black Sheep I just feel at this point in time, John McClean is more important than Black Sheep, also I think it makes a good contrast that Battering Lamb won his match, and Black Sheep doesn't, I feel Black Sheep would feel more comfortable being a heel.
  6. Im so glad to find this diary, I am enjoying it a lot, and your diaries have been such a big part of my own TEW experience for so many years, I have always loved and enjoyed your CGC diaries even if its a product of wrestling Im awful at booking, you and CGC are like peanut butter and jelly, in my opinion you have always gotten the best out of all scenarios of CGC you have been given. Excited to see where this leads. CGC Canadian Title Match: Jake Solan vs The Masked Prefect I am really interested about how this match will rate as a main event, and is really realistic and logical that this early into their careers not everything is about the DeColts, but still CGC is all bout story and popularity, and you have booked a show without any of your biggest stars on matches, its a good test to see if the future can carry the show on their own. About the match, this seems like a routine title defence, Jake Sloan is really good at selling so he should be able to make the power mover of Masked Prefect look impressive, Sloan could grow into something relevant, right now he is not, and Masked Prefect is the closest thing related to the main storyline in the whole show, so seems to be a good idea to give an early win to your heel stable. Land Mass & Mammoth vs Condor & Canadian Dragon I am really curious if this could be a misdirection, but if in their singles matches the high flyers were squashed by the behemots, I would assume the most likely scenario is that the combined force of Land Mass and Mammoth will be even stronger than as singles, and Helen Wheels will do everything in her power to help if she suspects her team is in trouble, so sadly this seems to be the third loss in three weeks for the masked lightweights. This story could have larger ramifications than expected with the idea of a new title belt. Dirty Frank vs Battering Lamb All logic would say that the single wrestler should beat the tag team wrestler, but I don't know I see The Flock as good prospects, and it would be more worth it to build them up, or maybe I am just biased towards RPW talent, that has recently becomed my favourite company of the east coast wars, either way between this two I already see Battering Lamb as so much more than Dirty Frank and with time, Battering Lamb will grow exponentially faster than Frank, also I have the heels winning both other matches, I think this one off match should be the face win of the night. The central conceit of Title Bout Wrestling is to have a title match on every episode, so three belts (World, TV, Tag) are clearly not going to cut it. What do you guys like adding to promotions as an extra belt? I'm not really a belt guy, so I need some ideas. I originally wanted to explain both options I wanted to propose, but one is the Six-Man Tag Team Championships that you have already adressed in detail, and I agree you would need a larger roster to make it worth while, so I will go more in depth with my other option: The Candian Golden Combat X Division Championship, it would be easy to simplify this title as a Lightweight, Cruiserweight or weight division championship, but at least to me is much more, I believe it brings its own wrinkles that would make it more easier to implement than a simple cruiserweight championship, first of all the starting CGC roster only begins with 5 Lightweights that is too low to mantain a division, so you would either need to hire more lightweights for the division and that might not be profitable at the moment for the company, also CGC has always been known as a classic big men promotion, im afraid the hiring more lightweights would limit their growth as they would remain trapped in the title division and just serve as warm bodies for the bigger and heavier stars to beat, or you could set the maximum weight of the title as middleweight, and that would give you 14 wrestlers eligible, but when you begin to see the names it sounds more illogical, because firstly some of this names have always been on the heavier and more muscular side of middleweight, and also are not the type of wrestlers you would see having a lightweight style match, names like Jack DeColt, John Maverick, Eric Tyler, Steve Flash, John McClean even Howling Dog, they would be really out of place in a cruiserweight division. Meanwhile the X Division is not about weight it's about a certain style of wrestling, a stlye much more high flying, flashy, risk taking and high impact wrestling, that differentiates from the CGC Classic, ground and pound, grappling, brawling, takedowns and punches style of wrestling, a much more fast paced division will give you a division that can distinguish by themselves, without trying to compete with the Stones on technincal wrestling that they will always be better at, and it is a much more product friendly division to have, than to try for a faux-hardcore division that goes against the family friendly reputation of CGC, and the advantage is that you can book this division without even needing to hire more wrestlers, I can think of at least 16 members of the original roster that would be at least decent in that style of match, it would still be the spirit of a Lighter division where wrestlers like Condor and Canadian Dragon could shine still without being overly restrictive on which wrestlers can take part, even heavier members of the roster like Masked Prefect and Ted Moore have the skill to be decent in a more flashy high impact style of wrestling (like Samoa Joe in real life).
  7. FREEDOM's Fury Friday Week 2, June 2020 San Juan High School, San Juan, Puerto Rico Main Event Singles Match FCW King of Caribbean Finals Carlos Gonzalez vs. Xavi Ferrara Firstly, This is just wishful thinking from my part, please take him to the moon for me, but I also have some actual reasoning, first this would be an awesome final between some upper card wrestlers, that are not necessarily main eventers so you show they can also main event, this is also Champion vs Champion for the Trophy, so that your 2 finalists are champions, puts over your championships as they are actually held by top wrestlers and not just midcarders. And I think Carlos wins, because at least in the first edition you want to send the people home happy. Semi Main Event Singles Match FCW Puerto Rican Championship/Bounty Match Akima Brave vs. Mutant (c) Guest wrestler vs Champion who got the title recently, this is just another match to put Mutant over without feeding him your own roster, is a classic and it works, nothing wrong with that. Singles Match FCW King of Caribbean Semi Finals Billy Russell vs. Xavi Ferrara I booked 3 faces and a heel in the semifinals, we need an actual heel in the finals, so it doesnt tank, also Ferrara is a prospect and champion, of course you could use Russell to put him over, this is the scenario when it makes sense, you give Russell a win earlier in the night so he puts over one of your top prospect heels. Singles Match FCW King of Caribbean Semi Finals Marco Gonzalez vs. Carlos Gonzalez Ok, I admit it, this will never happen, but come on, tell me this wouldnt be an awesome match to build to, firstly they are tag team partners and tag team champions, second they are family and third they are both fan favourites this is the type of match you wouldnt usually have an excuse to book, this gives you the chance to face your tag team champions and to make sense, its practically a once in a lifetime unless they break up, yes I know is face vs face, but Carlos can act as the de facto heel, he plays it better, and Marco just screams wholesome babyface, and if this match happens, I think Carlos wins, to show experience still matters, you can have all the potential in the world but sometimes is not enough, and Carlos is also popular so it doesnt hurt Marco to lose to his uncle. Singles Match Loser Leaves Puerto Rico Ox Mastadon vs. Bull Wrecker I believe either someone got signed to a medium to large promotion or someone is a pain backstage you dont want to deal with, I will go with the Ox win because he has been booked stronger than Wrecker, showing up more times, also doubt you would put so much effort on building him up just to have him leave, also Bull Wrecker has a higher popularity spread in different areas, so its more plausible than he would be contacted as a more well known star in the US and Japan instead of the local star in Ox Mastodon, Singles Match FCW King of Caribbean Quarter Finals Billy Russell vs. Curtis Shaw Billy Russell is used as an attraction nowadays, his name alone brings people, he needs to be booked carefully and given big wins so when someone beats him it means something. Singles Match FCW King of Caribbean Quarter Finals Island Boy Apollo vs. Xavi Ferrera w/ Clare South Tag team former champion fighting young prospect, midcard champion, member of the top stable in the company, I cannot see this one going any other way. Singles Match FCW King of Caribbean Quarter Finals Carlos Gonzalez vs. Sheik Ali Al-Amin I feel the Sheik is the type of heel wrestler that would be used to put over the major babyfaces of the company, very humble from our head booker, he seems to be prioritizing company growth rather than personal glory, also Carlos is one of my favourite CVerse characters, I will always wish him to do well and see him reach for the stars. Opening Match Singles Match FCW King of Caribbean Quarter Finals Marco Gonzalez vs. "The Triple Threat" Davis Wayne Newton Marco is the prince that was promised for FCW, yes he is as green as a lettuce, but you have to invest in him if you want him to reach the stars, he should at least get one win in the tournament this year, to make notice of his potential.
  8. The DeColts (Alex, Steve & Jack DeColt) vs. The Elite (Dan DaLay, John Maverick & Eddie Chandler) - Elimination Tag Team Match I initially considered the possibility of The Elite winning this match, as there is actually nothing on the line so it could be a good chance to build them as actual threats to the DeColt's, but there are some factors that made me go with the safe choice of the DeColt's, firstly Ricky is not in the match and at this point in time he was the DeColt with the lowest standing, meaning more likely to be beaten, so in this match you have the strongest combination of the brothers, which is kind of their gimmick that they are stronger as an unit, they can all come back from individual defeats, but the DeColt Wrestling Unit should be protected, and lastly but most important, it is an elimination match, if it was a one fall match, I could see maybe Jack being pinned, but in this match if the Elite wins, means they have pinned or submitted all of them. So I go with the DeColts winning with Steve being the Sole Survivor, with Jack being eliminated by his own hand due to being a wildcard, and Dalay getting the pin on Alex to build up to a World Title Match. Shooter Sean Deeley (C) vs. Ricky DeColt - CGC Canadian Title I seriously almost went with the Title Change back to Ricky because of CGC DeColt's win LOL. but I don't see any use to Ricky getting the title back right now, he just lost it 2-3 months ago in game, I think if Ricky is getting back his title it should be when Deeley has a longer reign so it will actually mean something. You could pull a fast one and have Deeley lose the match by count out or DQ, and not lose the title, but first that is not how you create a strong champion and second, Deeley is more of an Traditionalist Technician Heel similar to Eric Tyler, than a weasel heel that would try to keep his title by any means, he wants to be the better wrestler and leave his opponents humilliated, so I see this going as a straight win. Youth Energy & The Varsity Boys vs. The Specialists & Soldiers of Fortune - Elimination Tag Team Match I like Youth Energy a lot, the varsity boys not so much. and pretty much feel neutral or barely possitive about the heel teams, so I predict the heels taking the win, mostly because the tag champions are faces so keeping 2 heel teams strong and in contention is good for your division, and youth energy doesnt lose too much by taking the fall, in my mind it makes sense. Whippy The Clown vs. ??? I have no idea who could this surprise wrestler be, could be a debut, could be someone already on your roster, anywho, in my experience as a predictor, its a safe bet to predict the surprise as in 7 of 10 times is actually a good surprise, also I hate Whippy The Clown gimmick, so yeah I cannot bring myself to predict him winning, even if it seemed logical for him to win, I tend to be very visceral in my dislike for certain characters or gimmick, so while Nathan Priest has this gimmick it is impossible for me to support him and just want him to fail. 'The Elite Opportunity': Ryan Powell, Zeus Maxmillion & Christian Price vs. The Canadian Enforcers & Steven Parker - Elimination Tag Team Match This is the real toss up of the night, I went with the faces, as Steven Parker is a new signing and you might want to give him some momentum coming from his small run with NOTBPW and his breakout run in MAW, he could be the next big thing for you at this point in his career so a win wouldnt hurt him, also the Canadian Enforcers are the established team in this match, so as former tag champions you might want to give them somewhat of a last good run, to breath life back to the division at least while they can still give you good quality matches also its Jetson return to CGC a win could look good for the team to kickstart them back as a contenders, also in the match you could play it as they having more experience and better communication than their opponents, that a 3 single wrestlers who havent teamed with each other.
  9. I began a BCF game and I am one year in, the most interesting things in my company are: * Tikhon Diev submitting McFadden for the Light Heavyweight title and making his first defence against Soldo, making them both tap out, now he is booked against a returning Kitson in a fight where one BCF Undefeated Streak will die. * Vikram Sithalyan submitted David Webb to become Welterweight champion, and its set to make his first defence against Huang, probably will face Webb in a 5 match in their series if he can beat his Martin Cupples in a title eliminator. * Ram Phookan was suspended one year after his first match due to recreational drugs after he had beat Hans-Peter Schneider but it was overturned to a no contest, he is set to make his return against Charlie Oakley and if he pops again for drugs I am releasing him. * Fritz Phipps is set to face Carter Potter, after winning a mini title eliminator tournament defeating Mark Bicknell in the first round, and winning an Upset against Stafford Alois in the final round, I will admit this derailed my plans as I had planned that title eliminator to set up Alois vs Potter, as I felt I couldnt give Alois a shot as his last to fights were loses against Potter and Lennon, but thats the fun thing about MMA, you can plan for one result, but not always will you get what you want, so I simply roll with what the game gives me. * Rob Baines is dominating the Middleweight division and I am perfectly OK with it, the problem is, it seems he is nearing retirement, he tells me he has 3 or 4 fights left, maybe even less, as he told me that before his first fight and he has fought twice but still says the same, I would love to have him Superfight with a Light Heavyweight before he retires, but I dont know if its a good Idea * Mick Curran retired after losing to Eddie Whelan, and Perry Barr retired with a Win after defeating Perry Potenkin. * Have managed to face off with GAMMA and ALPHA 1 in contract offers, I have won some they have won others, but Im glad Im still making money even with some of the contracts I won from them being a little high. * TOP openned in Russia and their roster practically is half SIGMA fighters and half KDM fighters so its a fight to see when they can book certain fighters, GAMMA has been raiding XCC Lightweight Division, signing always their champion, and even signing the competitors of a scheduled Title fight for the vacant title, always having to strip the title afterwards, they even hired their Featherweight Champion a few days in game ago, I assume also for the lightweight division, as they havent created a featherweight one. * I have Balanced the Idea of creating a Womens Division, but I still havent done it, I did it in a previous save after Alpha created a featherweight division, but in this save I dont know when the right moment would be.
  10. How big should my company be, before I begin running shows in other regions? I have a enough matches with fighters popular in that region to put up a good card, but I have unknown popularity in that region, so I dont know if its worth it to run it there, or stick to my local region?
  11. Which Mod is this? The only effganics I found in the MOD section was a mod set in the 1920 and one in the 1980s
  12. Supremacists (Brandon James, Paul Huntingdon, and ????) vs. Knights of Wrestling (Steven Parker, Joey Morgan, and Joshua Taylor) [6-Man Tag Match] Jefferson Stardust vs. John Greed vs. Ranger [Triple Threat Match - First Pinfall] "BIG D" Des Davids vs. "SHOCKING" Matt Hocking [standard Singles Match] Undeniable (Bret Starr & Mainstream Hernandez) vs. Valiant and ???? [standard Tag Team Match] "THE SHOWSTOPPIN' SUPERSTAR" Z-Dub vs. "THE INSTANT CLASSIC" Spencer Spade ["New Year's Revolution" Contract Match] [standard Singles Match]
  13. Joshua Taylor vs. Paul Huntingdon [standard Singles Match] [Joshua Taylor's SWF Debut] Randy Unleashed© vs. Chris Caulfield [Chaos Championship Match] [Chaos Rules = No Rules] High Flyin' Hawaiian vs. "The Dirty Rotten Scoundrel" Rogue [standard Singles Match] ATOMIC vs. Bret Starr vs. Mikey Lau vs. Rocky Golden [#1 Contendership Match for the SWF WHC] [First Pinfall is the Victor]
  14. The Awesomeness© vs. Undeniable [sWF World Tag Team Championship Match] [standard Tag Team Match] Angry Gilmore vs. Matthew Faith [standard Singles Match] The Crippler vs. High Flyin' Hawaiian [standard Singles Match] Rogue vs. Z-Dub ["New Year's Revolution" Contract Match] [standard Singles Match] Des Davids© vs. Bret Starr [sWF North American Championship Match] [Lumberjack Match] Brandon James vs. Rocky Golden ["I Quit Match"] [brandon wins = He gets the whereabouts of Scythe] Remo© vs. ATOMIC vs. Mikey Lau [sWF World Heavyweight Championship Match] [Elimination Match]
  15. Maybe not a new game, but releasing a an updated database with some years having passed, to freshen up the game, because the engine is pretty much on point.
  16. Lenny Brown vs. Randy Unleashed [standard Singles Match] Lenny Brown has been losing on Supreme and winning on RISE, lets see if the pattern continues, I have no celar view of what is next for Randy but for what I can tell he is important in the plans. Prophetic Justice vs. Knights of Wrestling (Parker & Morgan) [standard Tag Team Match] The debut of a new alliance of two midcarders to upper midcarders, facing part of the lower card that see more of their action on B shows, I see this as a good debut win. "Hollywood" Bret Starr vs. Robbie Retro [standard Singles Match] Starr is a future main eventer, closer than we believe, Robbie is a Jobber, I would be surprised to see this one go any other way. "Shocking" Matt Hocking vs. "The Showstoppin' Superstar" Z-Dub [standard Singles Match] Im not really a fan of either one of them, but Zimmy is in the build up to a rematch against Rogue, and Hocking has had neutral booking, seems most bets are in favour of Zimmy. Ekuma vs. The Crippler [standard Singles Match] A cautionary pick, I dont see Ekuma as the leading part of this story, this is only to continue the beef with HFH, and a good way to give crippler some wins after he lost a lot before this feud.
  17. Comments on Lucha Suprema: First of all I loved the show, it has an aestethic that makes it unique, you can immediately notice is different from anything ever tried by the SWF before. I dont know what kind of grades are you expecting from this shows, but I must admit I was surprised to see this show with a very low grade in the 30s, I know is a B show so it won't hurt your popularity but it seems a bit harsh, even with some of the low popularity of most of the wrestlers, I think just on ability alone it should have been higher. One thing I could observe from the roster, is that you are building for the near future, wrestlers that will be called up to supreme, when they build their popularities and skills in this B show, before battling the established stars, mostly because you went with talent that can be built up with an average age of 30 rather than exploiting the older guys popular in mexico that could be more of an instant hit, but you couldnt get more time out of them. In general good show, this first show more than a story driven show was more of a Showcase of the talent, probably my biggest complain is a nitpick in the grand scheme of things, and thats Babau and Stuntman teaming, even though I assume you have moroi on the roster, and Acid II wrestled in the following match, so it seemed like an odd pairing, but if that was my biggest critique you can see really it was an excelent choice, the only thing I can see went wrong was Makutsi promo bombing, mostly because he doesnt speak spanish, so doing it in Mexico was bad for him because no one understood him, but it wasnt a killer of the character, he bounced right back with his segment and match with Masked Cougar, And with Makutsi we finally see the debut of the final wrestler of the RIPW golden generation, intersting to see him in Lucha Suprema rather than RISE, but I hope not having to compete fot time with Spade, Allen and Brown, Makutsi can grow, and make Lucha Suprema his playground and then ascend to supreme and dominate.
  18. Post Show Comments week 2 Joey Morgan and Steven Parker, I LOVE!!!!! that idea, mostly given the gimmick because I have always been neutral to Parker, but putting a youngster with a veteran is a classic concept for a good tag team, I pray to the lord Joey Morgan starts getting better grades before you get tired of him, but I will admit this is an exciting prospect and the best thing that could have happened to Morgan right about now, honestly when I was reading this I literally blurted, just give them the tag titles already, alone in my room, so at least you can guarantee that at least someone like this idea, and them being the midcard team, maybe not directly fighting against the authority, but more of an ideological battle than a personal one, they can have decent programs with the lesser memebers of the authority like Paul Huntington. Talking about Paul, with him joining Eisen, what happens with Trescade? are they done? in a pause? is he also a member? About the main event, Im glad I made the decision I made, I have never predicted a draw before, and it wasnt obvious so it was risky, but something inside me told me to make that call. Jack Bruce, Im not the biggest fan personally, he isnt bad, but i dont like him in a personal way, maybe because in real life he would be my polar opposite, I dont like chaos, I like order and tidyness, and always try to bring that with me, but I will admit he brings the ratings, he has earned being named a star and a legend, is just his segments dont appeal me so i wont be talking a lot about them here, i will just say good use of your resources. High Flying Hawaiian, Maybe is only the picture but I think the missing piece for him to realize his potential is a heel turn, that cocky smirk he has in his picture screams heel to me, I know his stats say he plays better a babyface, but I have seen wrestlers turn and begin pulling better grades in TEW, and its not like he is an awful heel, he could be pretty good as one, and is something the random number generator sometimes does have one wrestler be better with one disposition than with the other, but even if its not HFH turning heel, I see Hawaiian crush not lasting much longer, someone needs to be the break out star, and if HFH isnt taking full advantage of those opportunities Im sure Ekuma will, but I hope since this week was the best performance by HFH, that he has finally passed her rough patch, and now he can soar to the skies. Rise, not a lot to say pretty good B show, every week is interesting to see what the lower card guys are doing and how they can flesh out as characters when given a chance, my question is only, I have seen a lot of guys who begin in RIPW in there, are they already on the main roster, or you just borrow them for a night, and also like to ask, how full do you keep your developmental, everytime i played in 2016 I always ended up with a bloated developmental because I always hired a lot of guys I like, so I would like to know if you set rules to yourself, or if you already have an idea of who you want before beggining. Lucha Suprema, as a Guatemalan by birth, this plays completely to me, I grew up watching Lucha Libre on tv and going to shows, obviously not as big or good as the ones on mexico, but i think saying im exited is an understatement, im euphoric at these, I just want to know, will it be booked with lucha rules, like australian tags and 2 out of 3 falls, or will it be an americanized version of lucha, also something I wanted to touch on, is the fact that in the news stories, I read that SWF is working with mexican companies to get their talents, does this mean they are talent trades, or work in both rosters?, its not bad to do that, I just dont see it in the cannon i hold of SWF, they dont seem the type of company that works with anyone, I feel that reallistically they would raid the mexican companies rosters with exclusive contracts to the luchadors, instead of being a cooperative effort, in the end I hope you run shows in Mexico too and not only on southern US, I dont know how the popularity size works this year, but I think it could help to boost those mexican numbers you have somewhat lower than Canada and the US, I would also like to propose the idea of hiring a spanish announce team for this show, to actually give it that authentic lucha feel, and differentiate it from RISE as they have the same function, you already have Franklin Fulmier and Ana Garcia who are already employed to you and both are fluent spanish speakers who can take up that roles, or maybe if you want someone from outside steal alfonso garcia from QAW as the announcer, and J-Ro as the colour and you have a pretty good team.
  19. Joey Morgan vs. "SHOCKING" Matt Hocking [standard Singles Match] I do not care if im wrong, I cannot bring myself to vote for Hocking, he is bland and uninteresting, and is only here because the SWF wants to hurt TCW, if he hadnt been in TCW and his contract hadnt come up, he would not have been hired, I dont care if he is a future star, even more I dont care about him a little bit, and I love Morgan, I am biased and I admit it, this man should have been SWF Champion long before this, but he hasnt and right now doesnt seem like it, but I always hope he will rebound, that his grades will be better, and he will receive a big push, I could see him losing this match, but I dont want him to lose, so for one time Im going to vote for what I want, instead of what I believe. "BIG MONEY" Brandon James vs. "BAD, BAD" Lenny Brown [standard Singles Match] Lenny Brown seems stuck, he began the series pretty well even facing Davids in the first PPV, but since then, since that first loss, he has come down rolling quickly, maybe he is still too green, or couldnt handle the pressure, its a shame but I understand it, but he wont win, he is a midcarder babyface, stuck in standard matches without meaning, meanwhile James, is in a push, is an upper card heel, and is in a storyline, he needs to look good if people are to believe he can beat Golden, so a win could be very good for James tonight, on the Road to his big match. The Crippler vs. High Flyin' Hawaiian [Rematch from SWF RISE] I assume Crippler is one of the people that have offered to put Hawaiian over, and he can be very beneficial not just in pop, but also passing experience making his matches better, about the match, I just think it would not make sense to make all this trouble by having him beat Crippler on Rise just to lose on supreme, so I see this going to 2 - 0, I feel the match on Rise was just an trial to see what can be expected from the two of them, and they most have impreswsed if they allowed them to repeat it on supreme,. Huey Cannonball vs. Mainstream Hernandez [standard Singles Match] I may have been less than happy with the idea of Awesomness turning, but I have calmed and accepted it, mostly since their match last week was awesome, while the awesomeness doesnt have a strong or weak link since they are almost equal, undeniable does have it Starr and Spade are more important than Hernandez, Hernandez has to be considered the weak link, so if the strong link Spade won last week it just makes sense that the champions get a win back to recover just before the PPV, where surprisingly they are going as underdogs even if they are the defending champions, so it just makes the most sense for Cannonball to beat Hernandez. "PLATINUM" James Prudence vs. Rocky Golden [standard Singles Match] This should be a squash match, is good to see Rocky back in the ring since losing his title, but Prudence isnt on his level, not even close, when a company brings your tag team partner back, and prefers to team him with Robbie Retro on a comedy team, instead of having him be a team with you as heels, you know you are done, this two men couldnt be more opposite, and this should be a warm up dominated by Golden. KO Crew & Mikey Lau vs. Bret Starr, Remo, Rogue, and Spencer Spade [4 vs. 4 Tag Match] I may be wrong, and if my original choice proves to be right im going to be furious with myself, but I see this devolving into a non contest, originally I was going to go for a win for the heel team, given them having Remo, and Undeniable being on the rise, but I wasnt comfortable with the challengers losing, but what tipped this match over to a draw in my book, even more than all of that is the fact Des Davids is in the match, and he is undefeated, and I doubt you are going to have him lose his streak in a random match on Supreme TV, the option that protects and makes all of them look decent is a No Contest, Atomic, Lau and Davids would be hurt by losing, but Remo, Starr and Spade would be equally as hurt if they lost.
  20. <p>Some thoughts on tonight show:</p><p> </p><p> I must admit I am one of the people who voted for undeniable to get a title shot, mostly because the face tag team scene is underdeveloped in comparison to the heel side at the beggining of the game so not fault to you there, but for me that was the advantage of keeping the titles in Hawaiian Crush, because they could have had more of a variety of opponents from the heel side, but some things we only realize in retrospective, Im sure that at the moment the title change seemed like a better idea than what it ended up being, but im talking about that later, firstly I want to walk inside my thought process, at first I wasnt excited with any of the options, because heel vs heel wasnt ideal, but the face options seemed to weak at the time, so I wanted to use the option to write another team, my first idea was to write Joey Morgan and Someone else or maybe writing in Z-Dub and Randy Unleashed forcing them into a dysfunctional team, but I decided against it mostly as I felt I would be wasting my vote, because it would need by pure chance that a plurality of the people had the same idea as i which was unlikely, so I decided to go with the estrablished options, and I dont remember exactly what teams were in the poll, but I remember choosing Undeniable because I felt they deserved it with the grades they are pulling, and it was a nice occasion to book a non common heel vs heel in a believable way, as with any other PPV they had no booking reason to fight, meanwhile this type of events which are unpredictable usually follow no booking logic, what I did not expect when making that decision is that, we were forcing the awesomeness to turn face, in retrospective knowing what I now know, I wouldnt have voted that way.</p><p> </p><p> Now speaking fully on the turn, is not the worst thing that could have happened, luckily the awesomeness are very adaptable wrestlers with any disposition, but constrasting this show with the previous shows, it seems this turn wasn't planned and that unknowingly we forced your hand into turning them, most proof is with the quick turn problem, if this was really the plan it would have been booked with more time, and also because there is a dissonance between the awesomeness from RISE from the awesomeness from tonight, literally a few nights ago they were refusing to wrestlers, now we have to believe they are babyfaces, in a funny way it kind of works in the universe lore that the turn wasnt well received, because in character i feel some fans may have even not realized they turned, and those who did realize were very confused, making it a awkward turn, I really was curious who was gonna be the defacto face in that match, as I believe either team could be, as the awesomeness are goofy and adaptable, but undeniable had the fan support and had the star power, but I really never expected either team turning, so it was a good swerve I must admit, I think that for me the most awkward moment was that Emma Chase was so pumped when they won the titles, and defended their goofyness, now 2 weeks later she is ripping into them, and just because she is doing that we must now see them as baby faces.</p><p> </p><p> Talking about Emma Chase, I dont know how I must feel about Eric and Emma, in character, like if I was watching SWF on TV, because in my head cannon in "real life" they are actually nice people or at least not douchebags, I blame my head cannon on one PSW diary where Eric buys PSW asnd seems like a really down to earth guy, and my head cannon of Emma thanks to your writing in Sins of the Father, when you actually made me feel sorry for her, do to Viberts antagonizing of her, but in character like figures of authority, while its pretty easy for me to hate Eric Eisen, he has a very punchable face and he can act like a douche masterfully, in a way you want to punch him yourself, but I cant bring myself to boo Emma, she is evil but not hateable (like Miranda Presley in il diavolo veste prada, ugh that reference makes me feel old), you see a woman that hasnt relied on her looks or a man to get where she is, she has gotten there out of witts alone, and in a strange way kind of makes me root for her, so when they are together on screen I dont know how to feel, if I had to describe how I feel, I would say I feel sorry for her, when she has to share authority with him.</p><p> </p><p> Brandon James story took a turn I hadnt seen coming, I knew that if Krissy left him they were going to be on opposite sides, so I had believed it was kind of a Face turn for Brandon, meanwhile Krissy got new heel clients, but this puts it all upside down, but not in a bad way, the only thing it leaves me with the doubt, the plan was to feel sorry for Krissy? because at least for me it didnt work, I dont see her working as a face so I assume they are both still heels, just that they went different routes, really curious what is next for her, but Im more excited for Brandon James, this could really be a positive turning point for his career, everybody knows that his best times in SWF was under Emma Chase while he was teaming with Rogue, James and Chase have shined as a combination always, I sincerely believe that if he was a few years younger he would be the one holding the title right now with this same storyline instead of Remo, and he actually makes a lot more sense as someone who would seek to ally with the authority to get easier wins, made more sense than Rogue or Remo, but age isnt just a number in wrestling, a few years to late and your pride is gone, but even being the second heel wrestler of the group can be good for his career maybe one last run as north american champion or tag champion, this role as security gives him a purpose, and keeps him on the spotlight.</p><p> </p><p> Talking about Remo I completely agree with you he benefits a lot from having a mouthpiece, he is exactly like Brock Lesnar cutting promos, he is not bad at it, is a believable heel, but hearing them speak feels weird, so why not give them someone who can transform there good promos into Excellent Promos, let him do his talking with his wrestling and let his advocates do the rest for him, but this only makes me want Emma Chase out of the announce table even more, not because she is bad at it, but is so good as a manager and as an on screen authority figure, that she being behind the announce table outside the spotlight is a waste of her talent, heel colour commentators there are pretty good out there some hireable ones, but the type of synergy she gets with Remo, Brandon and even Eric is magnificent, surpasses anything she can do on that table, also gives her a chance to focus on one story and show more evolution and more wrinkles as a character, in place of being the heel commentator to counteract Ana Garcia, she deserves better, she deserves the spotlight she has earned out of sheer talent, and if you want someone good to play the heel commentator I would recommend "The Natural" Damian Carvill, he is not as popular but he isnt on screen much what matters is his ability, or if you wanted to keep it inside the company, you could make it a role reversal, Emma Chase as the sole authority figure/manager, and Eric Eisen as colour commentator, but I feel like Im overstepping with that kind of suggestion.</p><p> </p><p> NOTHING OF WHAT I HAVE WRITTEN, HAS BEEN MEANT TO INSULT OR TO MAKE PEOPLE FEEL BAD, AND IF IT HAS CAUSED THAT, I APOLOGIZE, I FELT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA, TO EXPRESS IN AN OUT OF CHARACTER WAY, EXPLAIN HOW I HAVE BEEN FEELING AS A READER, BUT IF ITS ANNOYING OR FEElS RUDE IN ANYWAY I WONT DO IT ANY MORE. Thanks for your attention <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />.</p>
  21. High Flyin' Hawaiian w/ Ekuma vs. Randy Unleashed [standard Singles Match] This might be a clue that Hawaiian crush arent getting their rematch bot we will se that later, if i have gathered anything from the booking is that Randy Unleashed isnt a top player he is a B Player, always the lower totem poll in a feud, as a simple lackey to Rogue not being treated with respect, and made clear that he isnt on the level of his brother and thats why he cheats, so Im getting to the Idea of this betting, that betting for Randy isnt a good Idea, meanwhile High Flying hawaiian isnt my favorite from Hawaiian crush, but at least his storyline is more interesting so I feel is for the benefit of the show Hawaiian wins tonight. The Boys w/ RDJ vs. The Pain Alliance [standard Tag Team Match] A lot of people find BSS charming, I do not, I think Kurt Laramee would fare better as a single star, but my prediction has nothing to do with this guys, the card could say generic heel team for all i care, the important people on the match are Dillon and Ranger, two guys I admit i have a bias for, receiving a push, that i assume wont end after one week, getting a new manager that its one of the most popular wrestlers of the last 25 years, fresh from retirement and free to finally come to SWF even if he never wrestles, his mentoring is the trick to have the Boys break the glass ceiling of their potential. Brandon James vs. Chris Caulfield [standard Singles Match] Lets party like its 2007 all over again, this is a DAVE classic, than in their prime could have main evented a PPV by itself and been competitive with the top 2 main events, but this is not their prime, you have 2 wrestlers past their primes, one who luckily managed to reinvent himself with a more entertaining storybased gimmick that helps him hide the fact his body is deteriorating in Brandon James, but the other one is very passed his prime, lets say it like this, the fact that USPW, the company that pushed Tyson Baine, Enygma, James Justice, Peter Valentine, The Force and the tribal warriors, when they were obviously past their primes, fire a wrestler citing he isnt as good anymore, I would actually expect Caufield to be in Terminal Decline, so I see James winning, because even if they arent as good as they were he still is better, but this is a good throwback a feel good moment, and in story makes a lot of sense, James returning to his roots to try to find his balance withouth Krissy, beggining with one of the most historic DAVE legends, to reference his past as Big Cat Brandon, I hope you can keep Caufield for a while but it wouldnt surprise me if he never won another match in his career. The Crippler vs. "The Dragon" Mikey Lau [standard Singles Match] This is the tricky part about booking a PPV like this, the fact is anyone can be chosen, and luckily the chosen ones where at least pushed slightly, but if there was ever doubt that Lau would beat Crippler, that I didnt have that doubt given I believe Crippler is more of a gatekeeper, all that doubt was washed away when Lau was chosen number one contender, you have a limited time to make the challengers look good enough that they could take the title away from Remo, and that means build them up extensively, even if with other wrestlers that might have been seen as shoving someone down their throats, but luckily you had a couple of internet darlings that people want to see pushed, chosen as contenders, so for the next couplle weeks before the PPV, I expect to see them pushed very heavily. "The Radioactive Wrecking Machine" ATOMIC vs. "Dirty Rotten Scoundrel" Rogue [standard Singles Match] This one is almost the same reasoning as Lau in the previous match, but this one is a more difficult match, lets not forget Rogue was the first challenger to the World Title this year, he is a legitimate main eventer, and higher on the card than Crippler, but ATOMIC needs the win, and would be benefited more than what Rogue might lose, and even if he gets hit in his popularity, Rogue can take that loss on the chin and still be a credible contender, given he has never been presented as the best wrestler but as someone who outsmarts people, also he still has the NYR Contract, this setback isnt as bad as it seems on paper, thats why I see this result happening.
  22. Randy Unleashed vs. Z-Dub [No Disqualification Match] I think this match is just to throw salt into the wound of Z-Dub being screwed, the fact this match is no DQ, gives Rogue the perfect opportunity to interfere without being punished, and give Randy that upper hand he didnt have when facing his brother earlier in the year, this alliance I predict will give new life to Randy Unleashed, hell I could even see them win the tag titles, but is not likely because Rogue has more important things to do like to cash in his NYR Contract, but this union is benficial for both, thats why it would be somewhat counter intuitive to have Randy lose this match when his team just formed up, also a longer term prediction, Rogue and Randy will keep this advantage for a little while, then Z-Dub will get a new tag partner to take them on fairly two on two, but for now he will be outnumbered. Dallas Cowboys vs. Fame & Money [standard Tag Team Match] I feel that if fame and money were ever pushed this diary its simply because they were the first champions, but we have moved past that a long time ago, Paul Huntington is a decent midcarder, Monty Trescade is closer to a jobber, meanwhile Ranger and Marshall Dillon are two young guys looking to make a name for themselves, and seems logical, as the tag champs are now heel, that a few face teams, begin making a name for themselves to always have credible challengers, I also most mentioned I am biased in this match as Marshall Dillon is one of my favorites, just to be transparent with my predictions. Hawaiian Crush vs. Undeniable (Hernandez & Spade) [standard Tag Team Match] I think the tension between the former tag champs could have somthing to do with this, but for me this isnt even the deciding factor for me in this match, is simply the hact Hernandez and Spade are that good that they dont even need their opponents to be infighting to win, also Undeniable is in a more important position on the card than Hawaiian Crush, so more likely to win, also just wanted to leave here an interesting idea, if Hawaiian Crush ever split up I hope Ekuma becomes the heel, and joins Undeniable like a way to replace Primus Allen, and be able to return the booking plans to almost normal, and build up to that inevitable confrontation between Allen and his former teammates that has been implied, it would be a lot more interesting if Spade, Hernandez and Starr had an "insurance policy" to match Allen, like having another strong guy. The Crippler vs. Lenny Brown [standard Singles Match] I feel crippler is a gatekeeper now, mostly as he has been seen more recently on RISE pretty consistently, and Lenny is still getting the positive vibes from Fro, so Lenny continues his comeback getting another win this time against a reliable gatkeeper. Des Davids vs. #1 Contender to the NA Championship [Non-Title Match] I didnt came in time to vote, so I will reveal I would have voted Kurt Laramee to face Des Davids, so it would be pretty funny if it was actually him, but right now it does not matter who the contender is, even if the contender is to win the title on PPV, Davids first singles loss will be when he drops the title, or at least on a bigger stage, it seems like it would have no purpose to have Davids lose his first match on free TV, the challenger still can seem strong a loss does not mean weakness, theres a lot of ways to book like that, but for the result of this match I pick Davids. Remo vs. Joey Morgan [Non-Title Match] If I had been able to vote I admit I would have voted for Morgan, because Morgan deserves better, I know Morgan can get better, and I hope he gets better for you and begins giving good grades again, I feel he deserves a World Title Run before retiring, and I think he would be one who could benefit from leaving SWF, and going to another company to be more important there, this is not a criticism of your booking, is more me realizing with the type of stars and youngsters with potential that you have he seems to have been left on second plane, and other companies would kill to have someone like him main eventing their shows, but as you booked this match it seems he isnt challenging Remo at the PPV, so I see this as just another competitive Remo match, not a squash but never stopping his domination.
  23. <p>Greg Reign v <strong>Remmington Huniet</strong></p><p> </p><p> <em>This feud has so many possibilities to end right here, there needs to be conflict for our hero to overcome, so Huniet will cheat all over the match, Tabitha will get mad, and ironically she will cost Reign the match with some botched interference adter Huniet moves away from her interference.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Elijah & Jack Pryde</strong> v The Wow Factor (James Jolson & Todd Havers)</p><p> </p><p> <em>Totally sincerity here, this is a toss up, I just like Elijah and Jack, and I dont particularly like Jolson and Havers.</em></p><p> </p><p> Winner becomes Haley Buck's Client: Charlie Corner v <strong>Gio Peltoni</strong> v Romeo Romaro</p><p> </p><p> <em>Charlie Corner is going to be close to winning, then he will see towards Haley Buck and will go out of the ring leaving Gio Peltoni laying on the ground after a finisher, and Romeo will swoop into the ring and steal the pinfall after getting beaten up all match, but in a double twist she will interfere to cost Romaro the match flipping the pinfall, setting Romaros face turn and setting peltoni in a feud with Corner.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Chip Martin & Jay Silver</strong> v The Bandits (Ben Williams & Jerry Pepper)</p><p> </p><p> <em>Is it noticeable I dont like The Bandits? Also Chip Marting because inheritance and reasons, standard obvious prediction from me to justfy my unreasonable bias for Chip Martin.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Zippy Deverell</strong> v Cip Conduit</p><p> </p><p> <em>Now that Pete is happy with Deverell standing up for himself, I see Zippy getting some wins now in the near future as an effect from that interaction.</em></p>
  24. <p>Jefferson Stardust vs. <strong>ZWB</strong></p><p> </p><p> <em>I'm gonna say it, you caught me completely off guard with this move, but that's not a bad thing, I like being surprised, it's no fun to always be able to predict stuff correctly, so kudos to you, I'm really curious about the pay off of the story, but that will come when it needs to come, for right now its a goodstory device to keep him in feuds, and it seems it's his brother and his cronies are getting the first swing, lets see if ZWB can become a real star and shed his tag team wrestler reputation.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Fame and Money</strong> vs. Hawaiian Crush</p><p> </p><p> <em>Maybe this is a swerve, very probably it is a swerve, but I don't feel confident predicting the shift tonight, if you wanted to really transition the titles to Hawaiian Crush you would have done it at the PPV, maybe you understand something I don't, maybe you know a storytelling trope I don't know, but for me putting the titles on them after they lost their big match on PPV, just to have them win them in a smaller stage, is a swerve for the sake of a swerve.</em></p><p> </p><p> Jungle Lord vs. <strong>Rogue</strong></p><p> </p><p> <em>Jungle Lord is a reliable hand and a good midcarder veteran, but Rogue is one of the real stars, I feel this is just a match for Rogue to get back on his winning ways after losing to Rocky Golden on PPV, and built up to his next feud, meanwhile Jungle Lord can eat another loss, it is what he is mostly doing anyways as he has transitioned to gatekeeper, for mostly for the stars or real good prospects, I dont see him jobbing to all people, just the really important ones. </em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Des Davids</strong> vs. Steven Parker</p><p> </p><p> <em>Des Davids has been in a path of destruction for a while, and there's no indication that Steven Parker will stop him, given that not even a more likely challenger in Lenny Brown couldn't beat him, Steven Parker needs to prove himself first so I assume, Davids just squashes him.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Gilmore and Lau</strong> vs. James and The Crippler</p><p> </p><p> <em>One team, won both their matches last night, the other two lost, one team are interner darlings, the other are old school veterans, for me there's no more reasoning needed, Gilmore and Lau continue their winning ways.</em></p><p> </p><p> Joey Morgan vs. <strong>Remo</strong></p><p> </p><p> <em>Oh, poor Joey Morgan, Remo is Pissed, after what transpired with Valiant, Remo can't be happy, and surely he will let Joey Morgan know that, I could see even Remo Going so hard he gets himself DQ'ed, but I feel Remo is still involved with the World title, so I think he controls himself enough to get the win and continue rising back to the top of the mountain.</em></p>
