Anarquía vs. Diamanté Demonio vs. Crazy Chris vs. Judah Wright

["Rise or Fall" Match]

[Winner: #1 Contender to the LAX Wrestling Championship]

[Loser: Fired from LAX Wrestling]

Got a horrible feeling I'm going to need to win this prediction contest. Judah's undoubtedly got himself fired already.

Komainu vs. Kumori

[standard Singles Match]

Can definitely see a feud in this, heel win. Plus Kumori's got a cool render.

Davie Flash vs. Petra Nikolaiva

[standard Singles Match]

B.D. Smooth/Eduardo Gutierrez vs. Vida y Muerte

[standard Tag Team Match]

El Padre Oscuro vs. La Pesadilla

[standard Singles Match]

Ángel Vengador vs. Areli Leander vs. Carlos Gonzalez vs. El Rey de Los Angeles vs. John Michaels

[steel Cage Match]

[LAX Wrestling Championship Match]

Can't see it being El Rey again. Areli and Michaels don't do much for me so far. Vengador seems like he'd be better chasing to me. No reason it shouldn't be Carlos.

<p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">Allow me to let you in on a conundrum I am currently facing.</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In writing the LAX Wrestling show, I realize that I am really geared (as a writer) to like to create TV show-based wrestling. It's hard to do small company wrestling shows, even if it is a video-based release, as I like to create the image/feel of everything around a TV show. With that said, I have struggled; closing my computer several times after starting to write the LAX Wrestling show. I get a little steam and then, poof... It goes away as I start to disconnect from it. </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

This has placed fears in my head already about the long-term mentality of writing these shows (as I'm pretty busy and need to project that will pull me into the fold versus becoming a chore if It's "not there).</div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

I was thinking about, while having to back to square one, creating a DOA dynasty with created wrestlers from you. This would allow you all to have the same experience as this. You could even submit the same character if you want. That said, DOA isn't as restricted about needing a lot of luchadors. It's the same in a cult-modern company; however, not with the tie to lucha libre & such like that. If this were to happen, we'd go back through the creation process (and it would push everything back once again). </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

I guess, where I am at now, is realizing that there may already be cracks in the dam. I obviously wanted to go toward something "new" with LAX Wrestling; however, the small-local feel is proving to be a challenge for me. </div></div></div>

I think the user-creation process is an awful lot of fun and I suspect DOA would lead to more creations I'm interested in just because of the nature of the promotion. Much as I was excited for LAX's return, I think that'd be even better personally.

<p>Honestly, if you're struggling to write up a show (let alone the first show) with the fear that it'll become a chore to you rather that something you would enjoy, then you're better off going with the idea that you would prefer to write.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm sure almost everyone, or at least the majority would understand and wouldn't mind waiting if the end result is that you'll be able to write the show that you want.</p>

<p>I tried to write on two separate occasions in the last 24 hours and I was coming up with a poor performance both times. It's both annoying and uninspiring.</p><p> </p><p>

None the less, I believe I am going to shift to DOA as a tv-channel-based wrestling program. This will allow to create the kind of show that melds with my interest in writing. </p><p> </p><p>

I have a new submission form I'll be presenting in the next day or so. If you're uninterested after the premature collapse of LAX then I get it. If you're uninterested in taking this next ride that has me creatively salivating then this next in depth submission process will be for you.</p><p> </p><p>

When I present the form, I will also give some basic details about the company to help with your creation (Product, size, etc).</p><p> </p><p>

Due to the non-Lucha difference, those who created characters can certainly re-present what they've created. That said, I won't be looking specifically for these kind of characters ( which opens up your chance to be more creative ).</p>

You need to a weekly show anyway. </p><p> </p><p> Or, maybe switch to a "summary project" focusing more on events than individual shows. </p><p> </p><p> If not, I'd move on to another project now before you get too invested. You've given us a great backstory and database we wouldn't have otherwise -- that means a lot to the readers. I don't think stopping now would let people down. </p><p> </p><p> My suggestions remain the same. </p><p> </p><p> If you want to use a Real World Database, TNA or WAR would be cool. Having played the <a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=535294" rel="external nofollow">2005 Real World Data</a>, I'd love to see you take on TNA. If not, you may enjoy Wrestle and Romance (Clash of the Titans). They have a cool legacy and access to WWF Talent, but employ a Japanese style. </p><p> </p><p> I'd consider World Level Wrestling, 21CW or South of the Border Pro Wrestling in the CornellVerse. South of The Border has an in-canon reality show, Luchador!, where you could incorporate user creations. World Level provides the "underdog story" in Japan and access to a huge talent pool in the MJM. 21CW has an SWF-sports entertainment feel and Tommy Cornell. </p><p> </p><p> Whatever you choose, I think everyone will anticipate the project. Whatever you choose, I'm on board.</p><p> </p><p> <em>EDIT:</em> Finished this before your most recent post. I look forward to the DOA diary, but you should make the choice for the right reasons. Don't choose a project to include us -- we'll be here no matter what you choose. With diaries and in life, it always works out best when you do whatever you want.</p>

<p>Shame to see this end before it even began. Having said that , I will be on the board for DOA.</p><p> </p><p>

I agree with KYE here. You can back out before investing your time. </p><p> </p><p>

Other than that, i think you can give SOTBPW or 21CW a shot. SOTBPW has 'we are modern faces of Lucha Libre with American style vibe' and 21CW is almost uncharted territory and has great talent.</p><p> </p><p>

Though I wouldn't suggest you WLW as it thrives on humour and an explosive in ring style, which I guess would be a bad match for your underground gritty TV- ish style.</p><p> </p><p>

Or maybe you can start another custom promotion similar to LU in Mexico and run with it.</p><p> </p><p>

I will be definitely there for your next project, if you tell me the endgame of the Jack Bruce storyline ( Just kidding:p.)</p>

<p>I have the same problem you have, EV, well, I think, I'm having sort of the same issue with my NOTBPW project.</p><p> </p><p>

Whatever your next project is, I wish you the best of luck.</p><p> </p><p>

(I'll be reading it, of course! <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />:p)</p>
