Once in the ring, it is the World Champion who speaks first, saying that in exactly one week, after Halloween comes early, he will be standing right here in the middle of this very ring STILL the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and Sting will be nothing more than another name added to the list of people who couldn't get the job done against "The Chosen One". Lex Luger and Buff Bagwell are all smiles here as they agree with Jarrett, while a smug-looking Eric Bischoff grabs the mic and says that since there seem to be some issues between Sting, Kevin Nash and Booker T, he has decided to put the three of them together in the main event against the Chosen Ones. Bischoff adds that nothing would make his night more than watching Sting, Nash and Booker implode and turn on each other, which is exactly what's going to happen later tonight. We've got a huge main event set for later tonight! He doesn't respect BG, he doesn't respect the fans, and he doesn't respect this great country. BG says that if Lance Storm is any kind of a man, he'll show up at Halloween Havoc this Sunday and then James will happily be the one to beat some respect into that piece of trash, Lance Storm! BG James just laid out the challenge, which is exactly what "Mean" Gene notes before sending us back to ringside for our opening bout. Miss Jones tries to calm "The Cat" down, but "The Cat" continues to rip into Gene, calling him a senile old man and telling him check himself into an old folks home because clearly he's incapable of doing his job anymore. AJ suggests a Hair versus Hair match, saying that we'll see how Shannon's inflated ego handles looking at a bald dome in the mirror. Shannon isn't too keen on this idea, but when AJ suggests that maybe Shannon isn't as confident as he claims, Shannon immediately accepts the challenge. As we cut elsewhere, Tony Schiavone notes that, apparently, AJ Style and Shannon Moore's match at Halloween Havoc will now be a Hair versus Hair match. Booker and Nash are still in disagreement as to who should be first in line to get a title shot, but Sting says that they need to focus on tonight and after that he needs to focus on Sunday, because if he doesn't beat Jarrett then none of their arguments are going to matter. Sting then strongly urges both men not to get ahead of themselves, and to agree to work together so they can trust each other to watch each other's backs out there. After some hesitation both Booker T and Kevin Nash agree to do so, but as Tony Schiavone wonders out loud; will it last once they are in the ring? Duggan says that his American Dragons are going to be the next Tag Team Champions, but Stacy reminds him that her clients defeated the Dragons two weeks ago, so that seems highly unlikely. Duggan says that not only will the Dragons win, but just to prove Stacy wrong they'll gladly defend the titles next week on Nitro against her clients! The Dragons aren't happy about this at all, having to defend the titles the day after winning them, if they indeed win them at all, but Stacy quickly accepts the challenge and as she walks off there is once again tension between Duggan and his clients. They briefly talk about the match, noting that, agree with their methods or not, The Chosen Ones have been highly successful with Jeff Jarrett holding the World Championship since May and Totally Buff holding the Tag Team Championships for almost as long, with the exception of a few weeks. Bobby Heenan, however, is far more interested in talking about the fact that tension between Sting, Nash and Booker is at an all time high and Heenan is convinced that it's gonna blow up in their faces tonight. Tony then sends us back down to ringside where our next match is about to get under way. This is a good match that sees Crowbar dominate the first half of it, only for Rey to make a spirited comeback which he punctuates by hitting his Springboard Hurricanrana and picking up the three count and the victory. Rey Misterio Jr. defeated Crowbar at 6.57 by pinfall with a Springboard Hurricanrana (B-) <img alt="NBNbcUS.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/NBNbcUS.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> "The Franchise" Shane Douglas is out from the back after the match and, remaining at the top of the entrance ramp, he cuts a promo saying that if Rey is such a great champion, as he claims to be, then why don't they make their match at Halloween Havoc a little more interesting? Douglas challenges Rey to a hardcore match, basically telling Rey to accept the challenge or admit that he's a coward. Rey accepts the challenge, which both Tony and Mike question, wondering if perhaps Rey's sense of pride is getting the better of him because a hardcore match is not in the Champion's favor at all. As one would expect from a six man tag team match, especially in WCW, things eventually break down and all six men are fighting. Kevin Nash and Booker T end up brawling with Lex Luger and Buff Bagwell outside the ring, leaving "The Chosen One" alone with Sting in the middle of the ring. Sting beats his chest, lets out a "WOO!" and very much looks ready for a fight...but rather than attacking, Jeff Jarrett leaves the ring, quickly grabs his World Title belt...and walks off?!? Luger and Bagwell take the opportunity is escape as well and the fans, the announcers, and Sting can't believe their eyes as the last Monday Nitro before Halloween Havoc comes to an end with the WCW World Heavyweight Champion walking out on the main event! This strategy seems to catch Kidman somewhat unprepared as he struggles to deal with Guerrero's mat-based attack during the first several minutes of this one. The Champion finally catches a break when Guerrero deviates from his game plan to go up to the top rope to attempt a frog splash, only for Kidman to be able to roll out of the way. From here the pace of the match quickens as Kidman hits a pair of dropkicks, a headscissors takedown and finally a big time BK Bomb that almost wins him the match, but Chavo is able to kick out at two and a half. Kidman seems to have momentum on his side, but Chavo makes use of a quick thumb to the eye to halt Kidman's offense once again. Chavo then sets up for a powerbomb, but Kidman counters it into a sitout facebuster. Sensing that this is his opportunity, Kidman pulls Chavo to his feet and hits a reverse suplex, and then he climbs to the top rope. The fans are on their feet cheering, just like Torrie Wilson is, and Kidman hits a perfectly executed Shooting Star Press! Kidman covers Chavo and retains the Cruiserweight Championship in what was a good and highly competitive opening match here at Halloween Havoc. Morrus and Animal are two tough individuals but, as Bobby Heenan is quick to point out, the number three is bigger than the number two and Morrus and Animal fall victim to this very fact as Jindrak, Stasiak and Sanders eventually gain control, which also allows the referee to finally get everyone but the two legal men, deemed to be Morrus and Jindrak, out of the ring. This doesn't last long, however, and pretty soon all five men are involved again. During the chaos, Mike Sanders tosses a pair of brass knuckles to Mark Jindrak, who nails Hugh Morrus with them on his fist while the referee is trying to separate Animal and Stasiak. Jindrak then covers Morrus and Sanders makes sure the referee sees it and counts the pinfall while Shawn Stasiak prevents Animal from doing anything about it. BG hits his shake, rattle and roll punch combination, which he follows up with his trademark shaky knee drop, much to the fans' approval. Frustrated, Storm wastes time arguing with the referee which allows BG James time to recover and when Storm finally turns his attention back to BG, he is met with a series of punches and kicks. BG hits a couple of hip tosses and then he whips Storm into the ropes, but Storm rolls through BG's legs, grabbing hold of one of them in the process, and just like that Storm has BG locked in the Canadian Maple Leaf! BG struggles against it, but there is nowhere to go and he is left with no choice but to submit to Storm in his pay per view debut here in WCW. Tony Schiavone calls this a potential career making night for the Jung Dragons but, as Mike Tenay points out, the Dragons don't have much in the way of momentum on their side heading into this one. That doesn't seem to bother the Dragons early on, however, as both Yang and Kaz are too quick for "The Total Package", who simply can't keep up with their quickness. Luger tags in Bagwell, who fares slightly better, but it is not until Luger gets a cheap shot in Yang from behind that the Champions are able to take control of the match. From here the Champions maintain control, often by cheating to regain control when the Dragons attempt a comeback, much to the growing frustration of "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan outside the ring. His frustration finally boils over when Buff chokes Kaz Hayashi in the corner while Lex Luger distracts the referee. Buff and Yang both enter the ring, and while the referee is distracted by them, "Hacksaw" enters the ring and lines up for his big clothesline. Luger turns around, "Hacksaw" charges, but Luger moves out of the way and "Hacksaw" clotheslines Kaz instead! Luger then throws "Hacksaw" out of the ring and applies the Torture Rack to Kaz Hayashi, who is forced to submit. Totally Buff defeated the Jung Dragons at 10.20 by submission when Luger forced Kaz to submit to the Torture Rack following botched interference from "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan. "The Cat" even seems to get a little bit of his confidence and swagger back, busting out a few dance moves and, in a show of over-confidence that more than borders on blatant arrogance, "The Cat" invites Miss Jones into the ring to dance with him, which she reluctantly does. This is, of course, a mistake as Vampiro is far from a pushover and certainly not someone you turn your back to in the middle of a match, and the dance break is cut short when Vampiro grabs "The Cat" and drives him head-first into the mat with a vicious DDT. Wasting no time, unlike "The Cat", Vampiro pulls "The Cat" back to his feet and hits the Nail In The Coffin and following a quick one-two-three, "The Cat" has picked up another loss here tonight at Halloween Havoc. Page continues to ride the momentum from his surprise attack early on in this one as he keeps "Big Poppa Pump" on the defensive and he gives him no time whatsoever to recover. The match spills outside the ring where the brawl continues as Page tries to irish whip Steiner into the guard rail, but Steiner reverses it and DDP goes back-first into the guard rail instead. Neither of these men waste time with "minor" moves as both of them go for nothing but high-impact moves and the hatred between these two men is very apparent throughout this one. Page bounces Steiner's head off the ring apron and rolls him back into the ring, but before Page can follow he is distracted by Midajah, and the momentary distraction is enough to allow Steiner a few seconds of rest, which means he's ready for DDP when Page enters the ring. Steiner pummels Page with right hands, while yelling profanities at him in the process, and then "FreakZilla" does a few push-ups before getting back to his feet. Steiner flexes for the crowd, then pulls DDP to his feet...DIAMOND CUTTER!!! With both men still down in the ring, Rick jumps up on the apron and tries to enter the ring but the referee stops him, but that just allows Midajah to arm Scott with his lead pipe. Now armed and thus even more dangerous, Scott takes aim at DDP's head...but Page is able to kick Steiner in the gut to prevent him from using the pipe. Page goes for another Diamond Cutter, but Scott shoves him off and Page collides with Rick Steiner, who was still up on the apron. Staggered from the collision, Page is on wobbly legs as he turns around and walks right into a Steiner Flatliner! But, as Rey has proven so many times in the past already, he is not an easy man to keep down and he keeps fighting back despite the amount of punishment he has taken. Frustrated by his inability to keep the Champion down for the three count, Shane wraps the steel chain around his right hand and goes for the knockout punch, but Rey avoids it and plants Shane with a tornado DDT, which sees Shane's head driven into the garbage can lid. With both Nash and Booker lurking around at ringside, we are set for our main event of the evening here at Halloween Havoc! (B+) WCW World Heavweight Championship <img alt="Sk5LgZj.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Sk5LgZj.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> <img alt="9umPviH.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/9umPviH.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />vs.<img alt="7PSSM69.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7PSSM69.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> The referee kicks things off by warning both Nash and Booker that if either of them do anything to get involved in the match in any way, he'll send them to the back. This quickly comes into play as Jarrett rolls out of the ring to stall for time, only to find himself caught between Nash and Booker, though neither man actually do anything to Jarrett. The action in this one is slow-paced early on and Mike Tenay points out that neither man is likely to make very many mistakes given the amount of experience both men have when it comes to big matches at big events. Jarrett uses his usual cheap tricks to try to gain an advantage, but it seems that Sting has him scouted perfectly as he always has an answer for whatever "The Chosen One" throws at him. As Sting begins to build momentum by firing off a series of punches, kicks and finally a standing dropkick, Jarrett again rolls out of the ring. This time, Jarrett grabs the World Title belt and tries to leave, but his escape is cut off by Booker T, who points back at the ring and tells Jarrett to get his ass back in there. While Jarrett argues with Booker, Sting comes up from behind and forces Jarrett back in the ring, much to the delight of the fans. But Jarrett is quickly back to his feet in the ring and he meets Sting with a series of kicks as soon as he rolls back into the ring. From here, Jarrett is finally able to grasp control of the match and he spends the next several minutes wearing Sting down, first working over Sting's right leg and then he applies a sleeper hold to really wear the challenger down. Sting is locked in the sleeper for what seems like an eternity, but he eventually fights his way back to his feet, firing off a couple of elbows and a belly to back suplex which leaves both men down in the ring of the ring as the match is starting to take its toll on both men. Both Champion and challenger get back to their feet and Jarrett tries to beat Sting to the punch, but Sting blocks Jarrett's punch and fires off a right of his own. Sting drives Jarrett into the corner, then whips him across the ring and hits a Stinger Splash! Jarrett is clearly in trouble here as Sting hits a second Stinger Splash, but then... <img alt="epiwJ9r.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/epiwJ9r.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="tjPJopW.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tjPJopW.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> "The Total Package" Lex Luger and Buff Bagwell, the WCW Tag Team Champions, run down to the ring as the crowd boos--but those boos quickly turn into cheers when Luger and Bagwell are met by Kevin Nash and Booker T at the bottom of the entrance ramp and a wild brawl ensues as they fight back up the ramp. Meanwhile, in the ring, the referee allows himself to be distracted for a moment by the action outside the ring, and Jeff Jarrett makes the most of that opportunity as he lands a low blow and then "accidentally" shoves Sting into the referee's back, knocking him down. With the referee temporarily out of action, Jarrett rolls out of the ring and grabs his Acoustic Equalizer, which was hidden under the ring, and he rolls back into the ring. With Sting still down, Jarrett mocks the fans by pointing to his temple to tell them all how smart he is, and then stalks Sting with the guitar in hand while Tony and Mike complain loudly that Jarrett is about to steal another victory here. As Sting slowly gets to his feet, Jarrett raises the guitar above his head, ready to strike....but then the guitar is suddenly ripped out of his hands by....... <img alt="TTtujDA.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/TTtujDA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> "Macho Man" Randy Savage!!! The crowd is going crazy and Jarrett's eyes grow wide as he looks at "Macho Man". Tony Schiavone can barely contain his excitement as he says that we haven't seen Randy Savage since Fall Brawl when Jeff Jarrett screwed him over during their World Title match. "The Chosen One" can do nothing but stare in disbelief as Savage smashes his guitar on the floor and it splinters into a thousand pieces. Savage then points behind Jarrett, where Sting has gotten back to his feet and is waiting for Jarrett to turn around. Jarrett does so and fires off several knife edge chops that "The Nature Boy" himself would be proud of...but they have no effect on Sting whatsoever! Sting then beats his chest, lets out a loud "WOOO!", and when Jarrett goes for a punch, Sting blocks it and drills Jarrett with one of his own. Sting rocks Jarrett with several more punches, then whips him across the ring and hits one...two...three Stinger Splashes! As Jarrett staggers out of the corner on wobbly legs, Sting hooks him from behind and...SCORPION DEATHDROP!!! Sting covers and... 1... 2... ...3!!! WE HAVE A NEW WCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!! Sting defeated Jeff Jarrett at 20.38 by pinfall with a Scorpion Deathdrop. Okay, time for the prediction contest results. A few stats to get out of the way first; the highest rated match of Halloween Havoc was Scott Steiner vs. DDP. Both this match and the main event was rated as a B, but Steiner vs. DDP was rated at 81 while Jarrett vs. Sting got a 78. The lowest rated match was AJ vs. Moore at D+. And finally, the point for guessing the length of the main event goes to Crackerjack, who was off by 1 minute of 38 seconds. Beejus was a close second here as he was off by 1 minute and 57 seconds. The announcers talk up Sting's victory last night at Halloween Havoc, saying that after months of Jeff Jarrett cheating and taking the low road to retain the World Championship, Sting finally put an end to Jarrett's reign and, in the words of Tony Schiavone, WCW finally has a World Heavyweight Champion that everyone can be proud of again. Once in the ring, Sting gets on the mic and he talks about how great it feels to once again be the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. But that is as far as the Champion gets before he is interrupted by... <img alt="YiAV5xv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/YiAV5xv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash, who makes his way to the ring as the Wolfpac music plays. Nash congratulates Sting on winning the World Title last night, then promptly demands that Sting be true to his word and grant him a shot at the title. But before Sting can respond to Nash... <img alt="O6ChwMw.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/O6ChwMw.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Booker T's music hits and Booker makes his way out from the back and he joins Sting and Nash in the ring. Booker says that if anyone deserves a shot at the title it's him, so Nash can forget about coming out here and just having a title shot handed to him. Nash and Booker have a heated exchange while Sting just observes them, the World Title belt draped over his shoulder. Jarrett, remaining at the top of the entrance ramp, tells Nash and Booker to get in line because he's cashing in his guaranteed rematch at Mayhem and once he has reclaimed the title they can forget all about getting title shots because they've always had their opportunity and they blew it. As Jarrett disappears into the back again and Sting, Nash and Booker exchange looks in the ring, the segment ends as the announcers note that the World Title scene is awfully crowded right now, but we now know for sure that Sting and Jarrett will face each other again at Mayhem. Tony also informs everyone that the World Champion will be in action later tonight in our main event of Monday Nitro as Sting will take on "The Total Package" Lex Luger. Once Kanyon and Awesome have sufficiently beaten Palumbo and O'Haire down, Stacy Keibler enters the ring and gets on the mic. Stacy asks if Palumbo and O'Haire really thought that they were going to get away with disrespecting them like they did last night? Did they really think that they were even in the same league as Kanyon and Mike Awesome? Stacy says that compared to her clients, O'Haire and Palumbo are nothing more than minor league at best while they are, and always will be, major league. Before Kidman can answer, Sanders provides his own answer; because Kidman knows he can't beat him. Kidman reminds him that it probably has something to do with Sanders getting himself suspended, which Sanders doesn't find amusing at all. But what he lacks in size and strength, Cash makes up for with speed and quickness in this one, though he does allow his bodyguard to do most of the work in the ring. In the end, KroniK picks up the victory after hitting their High Times double chokeslam on Big Smooth, and Brian Adams covers Smooth while Bryan Clark stands guard to ensure that Cash doesn't break up the pin. Jarrett says that Savage made the biggest mistake of his life last night when he cost him the World Title and at Mayhem there will be hell to pay--And that's when Randy Savage's music suddenly hits! Savage remains on the ramp as he gets on the mic and tells Jarrett that he didn't rob him of anything last night; he simply made sure that Jarrett didn't do to Sting what he has done to every single other person he's faced. Savage says that Jarrett's entire reign as champion was all about taking shortcuts and screwing people over, and the "Macho Man" simply made sure that that didn't happen last night, oooh yeah! Now, as for this match at Mayhem, Savage says that since Jarrett is busy at Mayhem, why don't they just have their match right here, right now?!? The crowd loves it and Savage drops the mic and heads to the ring, but Jarrett, of course, bails and escapes, wanting no part of Savage despite his big words a few moments ago. As Jarrett escapes up the ramp and Savage stands tall in the ring, the announcers speculate as to who Jarrett is going to pick to face the "Macho Man" at Mayhem? Storm then walks off as Tony Schiavone informs us that Lance Storm will be in action next. This is a good match with a lot of fast-paced action early on, but as the match progresses, Storm wisely--according to Mike Tenay--slows the pace and keeps Helms grounded on the mat, taking away a good portion of Helms' offense by not allowing him to utilize his fast-paced, high-flying style. In the end, after a good back and forth match, Lance Storm picks up the win by forcing "Sugar" Shane to submit to the Canadian Maple Leaf. Sting does eventually make his big comeback, much to the delight of the fans, and he ends up fighting off both Luger and Bagwell, hitting Stinger Splashes on both men in opposite corners. Sting then throws Buff out of the ring and scoop slams Luger to the mat. Just wanted to say that I have not forgotten about the prediction contest prizes. I need to figure a few things out and then they'll go out. Hopefully it will happen within the next few days.

Bischoff says that since they are all so eager, he's gonna give them a chance to prove themselves at Mayhem where all three men will face each other with a World Title shot on the line! But the major announcements doesn't stop there as Bischoff also books a tag team match for later tonight; the Steiner Brothers versus Kevin Nash and Booker T! "The Cat" says that as far as he's concerned, Flair can just wheel himself off to the retirement home because he's done with him! Chaos ensues and while Awesome and O'Haire are brawling at ringside, Stacy Keibler distracts Chuck Palumbo long enough for Kanyon to get into position and surprise Palumbo with a Kanyon Kutter, which allows Kanyon to steal the victory here tonight. Chris Kanyon defeated Chuck Palumbo at 7.43 by pinfall with the Kanyon Kutter after Stacy Keibler distracted Palumbo (C+) The match is over but the brawl continues. But with Chuck Palumbo down, it's Kanyon and Awesome against Sean O'Haire and the numbers game catches up with O'Haire as Kanyon and Mike Awesome get the upper hand, beating down O'Haire and Palumbo for the second straight week. Stacy Keibler then gets on the mic again and says that it may be a new week but the result is the same; Chris Kanyon and Mike Awesome stand tall because they are the better team and everyone, O'Haire and Palumbo included, knows it. Tony, Mike and Bobby also talk about the three way dance that Eric Bischoff booked for Mayhem, with Nash, Booker and Scott Steiner facing off with a future World Title match on the line. Mike Tenay adds that it is very likely that the winner of that match will receive his World Title match at Starrcade, the biggest event of the year, which only increases the already extremely high stakes of that match. Tony then sends us down to the ring for some big time tag team action. As it turns out, tonight's match could very well go down in history as another legendary battle as the crowd is absolutely on fire for this one from the get-go. After some early back and forth action for the first few minutes, the Steiner Brothers successfully isolate Booker T in their corner and, as Mike Tenay correctly points out, the Steiner Brothers prove once again why they are one of the greatest tag teams in the history of professional wrestling. Booker eventually makes his comeback and "Big Sexy" gets the hot tag. Nash comes in and cleans house, but the Steiner Brothers eventually regain control. The pattern then repeats itself as they isolate Nash until Nash makes a comeback and this time it's Booker T who gets the hot tag. Everything breaks down into chaos after that and, amidst that chaos, Kevin Nash is able to hit the Jackknife Powerbomb on "The Dog-faced Gremlin" Rick Steiner, and Nash covers and pins Rick in the ring while Booker T and Scott Steiner brawl at ringside, but was Nash even the legal man? Kevin Nash and Booker T defeated the Steiner Brothers at 15.04 by pinfall when Nash pinned Rick Steiner following a Jackknife Powerbomb (B+) The match is over and Kevin Nash has picked up the win for his team, albeit not entirely without controversy. As Nash leaves the ring, Scott Steiner, furious at the loss, attacks Booker T from behind in the ring and beats him down. As Scott locks in the Steiner Recliner, Nash's attention is finally caught by what's going on in the ring, but rather than help Booker...Nash simply turns and walks away, leaving Booker T at the mercy of "Big Poppa Pump", much to the fans' displeasure. Scott keeps the hold applied until an army of referees and officials finally convince him to release the hold, but it looks like the issues between Kevin Nash and Booker T have finally reached a new peak here tonight on Nitro. Unsurprisingly, this turns out to be more of a handicap match than a singles match as Luger does anything and everything he can to distract Sting and help Buff Bagwell, much the same way Buff did last week when Sting faced Luger. Despite constantly having to deal with "The Total Package" as well as his opponent, Sting still manages to stay in the match and it even looks like he is going to win it when he has Bagwell hooked for the Scorpion Deathdrop...but that is when Luger resorts to blatantly attacking Sting in plain view of the referee, resulting in an immediate disqualification. Sting defeated Buff Bagwell at 12.48 by disqualification when Lex Luger got involved (B-) <img alt="9umPviH.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/9umPviH.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Luger and Bagwell continue their attack post-match and "The Chosen One" Jeff Jarrett hits the ring as well to direct traffic as the Tag Team Champions are looking to do some serious damage to Sting here. Given what just happened after the previous match, Tony Schiavone speculates that Booker T is in no shape to help Sting here and obviously one cannot count on Kevin Nash. Marty Jannetty won the WWF European Championship by defeating Matt Hardy, who had held the title since May, and the Hardcore Title changed hands as well as Crash Holly defeated Rhyno. Additionally, the Intercontinental Championship changed hands back in September at the Unforgiven pay per view where Tommy Dreamer defeated Triple H to capture the title. Dreamer has since defended the title on both Heat and Smackdown against Perry Saturn and Justin Credible respectively. He walked out of No Mercy with the title as well, although he lost his match by countout to X-Pac. </div></blockquote> I decided to skip predictions for this show because I was running a bit behind and I really wanted to get this show up and get the prediction prizes sent out as well.
