Help adding the Cornellverse to a RW mod.

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, hoping this is possible and have been trying to figure it out in the game/took a look around the forums but haven't had any luck.

What I'm hoping to do is use a real world mod, and when new workers are created (slowly over time) I want to use guys from the Cornellverse (randomly). Any help with how I would go about setting this up would be appreciated.

Thanks

In case anyone is interested, here is the best I've been able to come up with so far. It appears if I import the wrestlers as deceased or retired they aren't eligible to regenerate.

Import anyone from Cornellmod under 25.

Set the rest of the Cornellmod wrestlers retirement age at 25. Put them all on hiatus. Import.

Most of the wrestlers (not all) will retire as soon as they come back from hiatus. Once they retire they become eligible to regenerate.

It's a pretty roundabout way to have it be as automated as possible, but it seems to be working half decent thus far. If anyone has any advice, or can think of a better way please let me know.

You can edit the Cornellverse data by using the Mass Edit feature to lower the health of any body part to 0. Active wrestlers would then retire the next day due to injury and if you have worker regeneration on this will generate a new worker. You could also double this up with Legacy workers carrying on those legacies by ensuring that workers have at least 72 Respect too, which would be enough to trigger the legacy settings.

Obviously it will take a year for all the new workers to debut (all at the same time) AND you may then end up with a silly level of non-wrestlers in the data as the retired workers take on new roles, but that's up to you. :)

I was thinking about messing around with it but I was worried it would effect the regens. Not crazy about every guy regenerating at the same time, but it's a nice tidbit and I'll probably end a few guys careers early to get younger builds.

Hiatus is working pretty well. I'm about six months into a sim, and a good number of guys haven't come back, so I'm not flooding the pool all at once. Also playing around with importing a few feds too. Want a little more competition around the world, and for it to feel a bit like a coup when you sign top guys.

EDIT: Ok, got through most of 2018 on a test run. Imported SWF, CGC, BHOTWG, and OLLIE. Billy Corgan bought CGC. SWF and WWE are in a heated battle. Randy Orton/Cesaro/Jericho jumped ship to SWF. Chuck Taylor got signed to WWE (before Ricochet no less). Juevtued is champ in Ollie. AND JOSHUA TAYLOR BEAT JINDER MAHAL FOR THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP.

Im in love.
