4C Breaks Off Ties With Confederation of the Territories, Forms New Alliance With ACPW

In a shocking announcement made today by owner Troy Winner, Canadian Charisma Championship Combat will be severing it's working relationship with Confederation of the Territories effective immediately. This has drawn the ire of the other members of the Confederation, who have now lost the ability to book 4C workers at their events. Talents such as 4C Champion Frankie Dee, Rajah and Sayeed Ali, who previously had been booked in CotT promotions such as Mid Atlantic Wrestling, New York City Wrestling and Mexican-based Original Lucha Libre Is Eternal (OLLIE) will no longer be available.

"This came completely out of nowhere," a source close to MAW has been quoted as saying, "they completely cut ties with the rest of the alliance overnight. Rest assured, MAW staff are furious."

This announcement came at the exact same time that Winner and ACPW founder Daedalus Buchinsky announced that they will be forging a new alliance, the Eastern Canada Wrestling Alliance, or ECWA, to work together and nurture the growing Canadian independent scene.

"This really was just deciding to make our own territory a priority." Winner said in the press release. "With our new partnership with ACPW, Canadian Charisma Championship Combat can forge a new path for the future of Canadian Wrestling."

All Canada Pro Wrestling CEO Buchinsky is similarly optimistic: "This new partnership allows the two promotions to access new avenues of talent acquisition, as well as opening up creative doors that would remain unopened otherwise. This is really what's best for the well-being of the Atlantic Canada indie scene."

The first event under the new ECWA banner will be ACPW's The Brave and the Bold, and prior to a full match card has confirmed to feature as yet unnamed 4C talent. The two companies also have announced a special joint ECWA Event sometime this spring.

<span style="font-size:12px;">"Good evening and welcome wrestling fans! Tony Marsh here at a landmark event for ACPW: The Brave And The Bold 2016! Tonight we have a number of hotly-anticipated bouts on the card, not the least of which being Jamie Atherton taking on Jr. Heavyweight Champ Diablo Duvak! Plus, thanks to our new working agreement with 4C, we'll see legendary tag team Thunder & Lightning taking on our own Grimm Quibble and Gram Gorman! But first, let's go to my broadcast partner, Face Nelson, who is live in the ring with 4C's ambassador to ACPW, Too Hot!" </span></p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="OdNiA6u.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OdNiA6u.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="NLYxt58.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/NLYxt58.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Marsh cuts to the ring where a bemused Face Nelson stands with an energetic Too Hot, practically bouncing on his toes with excitement.</p><p>

"Thank you Tony, Face Nelson here with a very special guest tonight, 4C's own Too Hot! Too Hot, tell the fans why they should be excited about our new Eastern Canada Wrestling Alliance!"</p><p>

"Thank you Mr. Face, and thank youuuuu Halifax! You know Face, I was backstage earlier and I got to meet some of the young guys you have here in ACPW, and let me tell you, each and every one of them was as hungry and driven as I've seen in this business. I know that together, 4C and ACPW can create the best wrestling Canada has ever seen!"</p><p>

"That's right my friend, that's why we're excited to have the first ever joint 4C/ACPW match ever, right here at Brave and the Bold!"</p><p>

"I can't wait!" Too Hot exclaims, grabbing the mic from Nelson's hand. "But I gotta say Face, as great as your boys are, I don't think they can beat Thunder & Lightning. I mean have you seen-"</p><p>

But suddenly, Too Hot is cut off by a loud, droning entrance theme. He and Face turn to face the ramp as they see none other than Mimic arrive with his own mic.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="Q2ORUO6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Q2ORUO6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p>

"Desist with your empty pleasantries and false promises, cease these disgusting lies and falsehoods you've spewed forth!" He slowly approaches the ring apron and eyes Too Hot with a mysterious glare.</p><p>

"Not everyone is so pleased with this new... obligation you've forced upon us. The contrarians demand answers, demand satisfaction! Take back your-"</p><p>

"Hold up, hold up, hold up." Too Hot interjects, turning to Nelson. "Man, can you understand a single thing this dude is saying right now?", to which Nelson shrugs.</p><p>

"This alliance, this betrayal of our labors, it's a monument to an inferior cause!" Mimic continues, visibly frustrating Too Hot.</p><p>

"Dude, you better start making some sense right this second. Just what in the HELL are you on about?"</p><p> </p><p>

Mimic then takes a step and comes face to face with Too Hot, nearly touching foreheads as he fumes at him;</p><p>

"ACPW does not NEED your help. ACPW is beyond 4C, you are merely a hindrance to us."</p><p>

"Is that so?" Too Hot asks. "Well why don't you and I decide who's beyond what? I'm talkin' you and me, this ring, in front of allllll these fine people!" The crowd cheers as Mimic turns away slightly.</p><p>

"You have no idea what forces you are meddling with. I will say this once: Leave ACPW. Do not come back. It's the only way I guarantee your safety."</p><p>

Too Hot laughs. "My SAFETY? Listen kid, I don't know who you think you are, but you-"</p><p>

But suddenly, Mimic drops his mic and starts swinging at Too Hot, battering him with rights and lefts as he catches him off-guard. Face quickly scurries out of the ring as Mimic knocks Too Hot back into the corner of the ring before jumping up on the ropes and planting him on the mat with a springboard DDT! Viciously he begins to stomp on Too Hot again and again, from the back of the neck to the center of the spine, when out of nowhere arrive Jason Thunder and Lightning Lomas to make the save! They sprint to the ring and slide in for Too Hot's defense, but wisely Mimic has already dropped out the ring, smirking as he swings over the guard rail and disappears into the crowd. Too Hot begins to stir as he's helped up by Jason, as Lomas stands on top of the turnbuckle and gestures for Mimic to come back and face them.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Thunder & Lightning (4C) VS Grimm & Gram (ACPW)</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Thunder & Lightning are able to get Too Hot back to his feet, as he's passed of to EMTs to make way for our inaugural bout. As the trainers lead Too Hot to the back, Grimm Quibble and Gram Gorman make their way to the ring, hyping up the crowd for this historical event. They both enter the ring and shake hands with Thunder & Lightning in a sign of sportsmanship before the referee starts the match.</p><p> </p><p>

Jason Thunder starts out against Gram Gorman, who offers a test of strength to Thunder, which he obliges. Gram is the easily the strongest of the two, as he powers over Thunder and throws him aside with a gutwrench suplex. A hard irish whip into the ropes leads to Jason taking a big back body drop, followed by two rapid standing elbows. Gorman then drags him to his feet and is about to set up a power bomb while in T&L's corner. Thinking quickly, Thunder waits until Gorman lifts him up to reach over his head and tag in Lomas, who leaps into the ring just as Gorman brings Thunder crashing down to the mat.</p><p> </p><p>

Gram goes for the pin but the referee tells him Thunder isn't the legal man. Confused, he turns around to be met a running elbow from Lomas. Lightning creates some space and then launches into a spinning heel kick! The dazed Gorman stumbles over to his corner and tags in Quibble. Grimm quickly lunges towards Lomas who dodges the attempt and hits him with a running bulldog. Quibble is quick to his feet but Lomas stays on him, hitting him with a kick to the midsection that traps him in T&L's corner. Tag to Thunder who climbs the turnbuckle and grabs Quibble's head for a super snapmare! Thunder goes for the pin but gets a 2.</p><p> </p><p>

Quibble is in trouble. Thunder pulls him up to his feet and gets ready for a suplex, but Grimm is able to counter and even the odds with a headbutt to the collar of Jason Thunder. A standing drop kick floors him before Quibble gets a running start to deliver a senton. Tag made to Gorman and they take Thunder up for a double-team suplex. Gorman makes the pin but Thunder kicks out at 2. He begins slapping the absolute hell out of Jason, striking him with thunderous chops and forearms before grabbing him in a headlock. He motions for the Gorman Aghast but before he can pull it off, Thunder breaks free with a jaw jacker. He begins striking Gram back and begins building momentum, flattening his opponent with a running clothesline. He tags in Lomas and the two get into position, waiting for Gorman to rise to his feet before... superkick by Lomas! Gorman's head snaps back and Thunder immediately hits an inverted DDT! Thunderstruck! Thunder goes for the cover as Lomas blocks off Quibble while the ref counts the 1,2,3.</p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Reggie Bishop VS Frankie-Boy Fernandes</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

The second match of the evening is underway as Reggie Bishop takes on the debuting Frankie-Boy Fernandes. Fernandes is energetic and is appealing to the crowd, but Bishop has little time for posturing and takes control early. A series of lariats have Frankie-Boy stunned, and a double-underhook suplex gets him for a two. He tries to fight back by hitting a springboard single leg dropkick, but is promptly put down with a backbreaker. In the end Fernandes is taken out by Bishop's diving lariat, the Bishop Basher, and is put away for the three.</p><p>

Jamie Atherton is backstage, preparing for his Jr. Heavyweight Title bout against Diablo Duvak. He says that Duvak is small-time and he's surprised ACPW hasn't dumped him on his ass already. He's the real star in the company and soon he'll have the championship belt to prove it.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Sky King VS Princeton Price</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

ACPW's resident aerial veteran Sky King is taking on promising young wrestler Princeton Price. Price has a lot to learn between the ropes, not the least of which is to Pay Homage To The King. Sky King seems to be all around the young Price, using the ropes and turnbuckles as launchpads to catapult himself around the ring. Price manages to return some offense in a few exchanges, including hitting a nice, crisp neckbreaker, but he's out of his depth against a skilled veteran like Sky King and eats the three count following a Sky King Splash.</p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Topher Smith VS Marcel LeFleur</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Topher's tag partner Ant-Man has been on a run with the Canadian Regional Championship, which gives the young Gopher an opportunity to brush up on his singles skills. Tonight he's up against Marcel LeFleur, who comes to the ring sneering and taunting the crowd, who are having none of him. He tries to take advantage early on by taking cheap shots and hiding behind the ref whenever Topher tries to fight back. Finally Smith catches him in the gut with a knee and then tosses him across the ring with a fallaway slam. LeFleur rolls out of the ring to regroup, but before he can catch his breath Topher flips over the ropes and nails him with a tope conhilo! Smith pulls Marcel back into the ring, sending him flying with a hurricanrana following an irish whip. He goes for a pin but only gets two.</p><p> </p><p>

LeFleur is able to throw a wrench in Topher's plans as he is able to escape from a suplex attempt and hit Smith with a nasty neckbreaker. He stomps away at Topher until the ref forces him to break, and now LeFleur is looking to do some damage. He strikes at Topher's jaw with devastating forearms, but Topher is able to fire back with forearm strikes of his own. They go shot for shot before Topher clocks him with a step-up enziguri. Marcel goes to the outside again, but for a second time it costs him as Smith comes careening between the ropes for a Gopher Suicide Dive! He throws the dazed LeFleur back in the ring for the easy three count.</p><p>

The commentator's begin hyping up the next match, when suddenly they are interrupted by an irate Too Hot, still battered from his attack by Mimic early on.</p><p>

"You!" he shouts at Face Nelson. "I get the feeling you're the guy who makes things happen around here. Mimic. I want him."</p><p>

"Now-now hold on a second, I can't just-" Face begins, but Too Hot cuts him off.</p><p>

"We're an Alliance now right? So we can trade talent right? Well I'm making a challenge right now. Mimic can drag his sorry ass to my neighborhood on Monday at Cage Rage, and we'll settle this like men."</p><p>

He walks away from the commentary booth, still nearly shaking with rage.</p><p>

"What are we going to do about this?" Tony Marsh asks.</p><p>

"I have no earthly idea." Nelson replies. "This is not how I expected our new partnership to turn out. I don't know what Mimic is thinking."</p><p>

"Well I guess we'll have to be there for 4C Cage Rage this Monday to see if Mimic answers the challenge. But right now we have business to take care of, the ACPW Tag Team Championship Match!</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Damage Inc. VS The Inner City Express</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Devyn Reynaud and Kamikaze, collectively known as Damage Incorporated, haven't been a tag team for long, but they've proven themselves to be one of the most dynamic and exciting duos to debut in ACPW in a long time. They've only recently captured their first ACPW Tag Team Championship and they're looking to protect that reign from the former champs, Jay Becker and Malik Cash: The Inner City Express.</p><p> </p><p>

The match starts off at a blinding pace. Malik Cash starts off against Reynaud and instantly descended upon him with chops and strikes to the face. However, Reynaud is able to stop his momentum flat with a slingshot spear, followed by a gorgeous standing moonsault for the quick pin, but Cash kicks out at just 1. Malik then leapfrogs an irish whip attempt and hits Devyn with a back elbow. Wanting to keep the pressure on, Malik tags in the powerhouse of The Express, Jay Becker. Becker seizes on Reynaud and lifts him up into a fireman's carry before dropping him into a gutbuster. Becker goes for the pin but only gets a two. He stomps Reynaud into the bottom of the turnbuckle, pressing his boot against the neck of the champion before the ref forces him to break. He brings Reynaud to his feet to deliver a delayed vertical suplex, turning to Kamikaze while his partner is in mid-air to ask: "Whassup?" before driving him into the mat. Becker is taking his toll on his opponent, but his cockiness costs him, as posing before a powerbomb allows Reynaud to escape and make the tag as the audience erupts!</p><p> </p><p>

Kamikaze barrels into the ring with a diving european uppercut, sending Becker into the ropes and then nailing him with a reverse hurricanrana, spiking his head into the canvas! He goes for the pin and one... two... kick out! 'Kaze can hardly believe it, but he needs to stay on him. As he readies Becker for his next move, Cash attempts to storm the ring, but Reynaud spots him and deftly hops to the top turnbuckle, taking Malik out with a perfectly executed missile dropkick! Kamikaze then lays out Becker with a russian leg sweep before he and Devyn lock eyes and grin. The fans know what's coming as Kamikaze climbs the top rope and launches off into a 450 Splash, while a second after impact Reynaud jumps into a standing shooting star press! Damage Control! Reynaud rolls up Becker and retains their Tag Team Titles.</p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Ant-Man VS Jayson Van Pelt VS Mario da Silva</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Ant-Man is determined to make the ACPW Canadian Regional Championship a fighting title, and tonight he'll get his wish. Both the young high-flier Jayson Van Pelt and the deceptively dangerous tap out artist Mario da Silva are vying for his title tonight, and to retain he'll have to outlast the both of them.</p><p> </p><p>

The match begins and the three competitor's fist bump at the center of the ring; there's no bad blood between these three but each wants to walk away with Ant-Man's belt. There's a bit of a feeling-out period as each man is reluctant to be the first to put themselves in a vulnerable position, but a bodyslam by Ant-Man on Van Pelt gets the action moving. da Silva is quick to take advantage of Ant-Man getting a running start for his next move, as he drops him with a drop toe hold and attempts to lock in a knee bar, but Ant-Man is quick to grab the ropes. Quick to keep the heat on that knee, da Silva drives his own into the injured joint to wear it down, but does not see Van Pelt climb the turnbuckle to hit a huge cross body! He has da Silva down for the pin but he's able to kick out after two.</p><p> </p><p>

Ant-Man gets up and he and Van Pelt begin trading chops. Ant-Man turns to run the ropes but is met with a springboard corkscrew splash from Jayson, who is beginning to get the crowd fired up. da Silva however comes back with a savate kick to the chest and hits him with a straightjacket sitout slam. He pulls back on Van Pelt's leg to make the pin for a two, before getting flattened by a running baseball slide from Ant-Man. Ant-Man needs to clear some space, so he clotheslines Van Pelt over the ropes and down to the floor, but da Silva rolls him up and again tries to apply the knee bar. Ant-Man is desperately trying to break the hold and is able to rotate slightly to get his other foot under the bottom rope. da Silva looks ready to put the champ away, but Ant-Man is able to break free from da Silva and whip him into the ropes before hitting him with a huge brainbuster! He goes for the cover after getting all of it and eliminates Mario da Silva by pinfall.</p><p> </p><p>

Ant-Man takes a moment to catch his breath as Van Pelt slides back into the ring. Not wanting to give the champ a moment's rest he collides with his head by nailing him with a shining wizard. He climbs back up the top rope, as it's brought him much success so far. Van Pelt leaps off the turnbuckle for a frogsplash, but Ant-Man sees it coming and gets out of the way, Van Pelt hitting the canvas with a sickening thud. Looking to capitalize, Ant-Man hits the rising Van Pelt with a german suplex. Ant-Man smells blood and is looking to finish Van Pelt off; he locks his arms around Van Pelt's waist and hurls himself forward, bringing Jayson up, up, and over... Canadian Destroyer! The ref is almost taken aback by the devastating move and almost forgets to count the pin, but comes to his senses and delivers the three count. </p><p>

Diablo Duvak has a few words for Jamie Atherton before his Main Event title defense. He says that he's the only 4-Time ACPW Champion, and Atherton should learn some respect for his work. He says if he hasn't made a lasting impression yet, he's going to make one tonight that Atherton won't soon forget. He turns away from the camera as his music hits and he heads out to the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Diablo Duvak VS Jamie Atherton</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Duvak enters the arena to a champion's welcome. He climbs the turnbuckle and holds his Junior Heavyweight Championship belt high for all to see before backflipping back into the ring and laying the title down at his feet. He looks down the ramp as the challenger, Jamie Atherton makes his way to the ring, flanked by Manager Heather B. He's decked out in furs and seems barely concerned at all with the jeering crowd, he climbs onto the ring apron and poses, peering over the frames of his sunglasses with a smirk. Heather holds the ropes open for him as he stares down Duvak and removes his coat, which he hands off to Heather as our Main Event gets underway.</p><p> </p><p>

Both men have a staredown before the bell rings, as the crowd simultaneously chant <em>"Let's-Go-Duvak!"</em> and <em>"A-ther-TON!"</em>, ready to see out this hotly-contested affair. They both enter into a lockup and Atherton manages to get a waistlock around Duvak. He tries to rebound off the ropes and suplex him, but Duvak rolls through and jumps into a neckbreaker. Atherton tries to pull himself up by the ropes, giving Duvak the window to get a running start and crash over him with a body avalanche, landing on his feet outside the ring and posing for the crowd. As he hoists himself back into the ring, Atherton fights out of his predicament with vicious shots to the sternum. He gets his arm around Duvak's head and runs into the corner hitting him with sliced bread, going for the early pin but getting just 1.</p><p> </p><p>

Atherton needs to gain back some ground and looks to do so by whipping Duvak hard out of the ring and onto the floor. Jamie then blatantly kicks Duvak in the face as he tries to stand up, then whips him hard into the ring steps. Duvak's shoulder collides with the metal stairs and he cries out in agony. Atherton is keeping the pressure on by hitting Duvak with a knee drop, but as the ref's count nears ten he reluctantly rolls his incapacitated opponent back into the ring. Looking to do some serious damage, Atherton lifts up Duvak and tosses him face first into the turnbuckle with a lawn dart. He heads up top for a diving moonsault and gets all of it, going for the pin and getting only a two, causing him to begin to get frustrated. </p><p> </p><p>

Jamie looks to keep up the pace and readies Duvak for a suplex, but Diablo breaks free with a palm strike and hits a fast basement dropkick. As Atherton rolls onto his back, Duvak makes his way to the ropes, bouncing off into a textbook lionsault! He makes the pin but Jamie kicks out. Duvak gets ready for another running start, but Heather B reaches out and grabs his heel, causing him to fall face first onto the mat. While the ref and Duvak hang over the apron to scold her, Atherton rises behind them and hits Duvak with a backstabber! The ref makes the count, one, two... kickout! Atherton is incensed, turning now to referee Royce Greig and telling him off for a slow count. He turns again to Duvak, pulling him to his feet to finish him off, setting him up for another lawn dart. However this time Duvak is able to drop behind Atherton, kicks him in the midsection and delivers the Diablo Driver II! He goes for the pin, the ref starts the count and gets the three, retaining his Jr. Heavyweight Championship.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:14px;">Diablo Duvak def. Jamie Atherton via pinfall (D-)</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:10px;">Not a bad start I'd say, made a small booking mishap by booking two high spot matches in a row, rookie mistake! The triple threat stole the show, I'm gonna have a hard time deciding who is going to be no. 1 contender after that match. Duvak and Atherton don't click though, which really sucks. Anyways, hope you enjoyed this first event, would love some feedback if you have it. Next event is 4C Cage Rage, I'll have the match card posted sometime soon.</span></p>

I really enjoyed your first show. It was really well written. I am more of a promo/angle fan and your opening segment did not disappoint. I love how you wrote Mimic. In the past when playing personal games, I have always struggled with how he would act promo wise. Well I think I have an answer. Keep up the good work!

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen, Lee Bambino here with my broadcast partner Ted Ross! We welcome you to Thunder Bay, Ontario for 4C Cage Rage! Ted, we've got quite the show ahead of us don't we?"</p><p>

"That's right Lee, tonight, as tradition in 4C, our champion Frankie Dee will defend his title in a steel cage against Rajah! Plus we will make history here in Thunder Bay, as we crown the very first 4C Canadian Champion in a Four-Way Ladder Match! Exciting stuff, exciting stuff indeed Lee!"</p><p>

"All that and more tonight at Cage Rage, but now let's go live to the center of the ring, where 4C Correspondent Terry Smith, who is standing by with Too Hot!"</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="OdNiA6u.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OdNiA6u.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="myffjzr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/myffjzr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Terry Smith stands in the ring with a visibly furious Too Hot, who paces back and forth as Smith opens up the show.</p><p>

"Thank you Lee, I'm here with Too Hot, who I believe has something to say regarding events that transpired a few days ago at ACPW The Brave And The Bold."</p><p>

Too Hot yanks the mic from Smith's hand. </p><p>

"That's right Terry, I DO have something to say. But you know what would make a much stronger argument for why I'm so pissed off right now? If you rolled the footage and showed these fine people exactly what happened!"</p><p>

He gestures to the big screen as a clip plays showing Mimic attacking Too Hot at ACPW's last event, spiking him into the mat with a springboard DDT before viciously putting the boots him.</p><p>

"There it is, plain to see! I went to ACPW on a mission of goodwill, a mission of sportsmanship, but this PUNK Mimic thinks he can play me like that? Well let me tell you something son: if you really think you can handle ALLLL THIS HEAAAAT... then you better bring it tonight, because I'm ready to show you how we do in Thunder Bay!"</p><p>

The crowd's cheers quickly turn to boos as a loud drone sounds throughout the arena and Mimic appears at the top of the walkway.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="Q2ORUO6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Q2ORUO6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p>

"Savor your glory while you can, Too Hot." he growls with a smirk. "This bellowing throng of IMBECILES might be fooled, but they simply have yet to experience the sting of the Viper's Bite. They don't know that their hollow heroes in 4C are eclipsed by a stronger, hungrier beast waiting at their door. And neither do you."</p><p>

Too Hot leans over the ropes to cast an accusing finger at Mimic.</p><p>

"I've had just about enough of your cryptic bullcrap! If you want to prove you're better than me then get in this ring and PROVE it, punk!"</p><p>

Mimic bows his head and laughs.</p><p>

"You think you're looking for an antidote to my venom. Little do you know that the bite itself... offers Salvation."</p><p> </p><p>

Suddenly, Mimic drops the mic to the ground and reaches into his pocket. He pulls out what appears to be a handful of jet black sand, which he holds in front of him in a clenched fist before scattering it into the air. Then, just as he does this, two figures emerge from the crowd and jump the railing, sliding into the ring right behind the unsuspecting Too Hot.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="B7rrdNl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/B7rrdNl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="cE3sIiG.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cE3sIiG.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p>

It's Dagger and Katoh Freak, the rest of The Nest of Vipers! Too Hot has no idea what's coming as Dagger comes up behind him brandishing a kendo stick. He hauls off and cracks it over Too Hot's back, a shocked Terry Smith instinctively dropping down and rolling out of harms way. Dagger and Freak lay into Too Hot with multiple stomps as Mimic himself enters the ring. He has Dagger and Katoh hold the dazed Too Hot up on his knees as he grips him by the face and spits seething, venomous words that only Too Hot and the Vipers can hear. Dagger and Katoh laugh as they each hold one of Too Hot's arms back as Dagger passes Mimic the kendo stick. Mimic takes a moment to laugh at the crowd before swinging the kendo stick right across Too Hot's face. The crowd are losing it, booing mercilessly as the Nest of Vipers slithers away over the guard rail, leaving Too Hot collapsed in the ring for the second time.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Jesse Gilbert VS Joe Gilbert</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Too Hot is attended to and helped to the back as our inaugural matchup begins. Jesse and Joe Gilbert have been feuding since their tag team broke up late last year, the violence only escalating in this blood feud as Joe repeatedly gets the better of his brother. Tonight, they face off in a tables match to further their lengthy war.</p><p> </p><p>

Jesse starts off hot by bowling Joe over with two clotheslines and a standing dropkick. Joe rolls to the outside and takes the opportunity for a short cut, grabbing a chair and thrusting it into his brother's gut. He goes to smash Jesse over the head but Jesse wisely kicks the chair into Joe's face instead. Stumbling, Joe retreats around the ringpost before blindsiding Jesse as he followed him around the corner. Looking to capitalize he hits him with a stump-puller piledriver on the outside! Jesse looks knocked out cold, but a countout won't do here, so Joe rolls his semi-conscious brother into the ring, along with a table.</p><p> </p><p>

Joe lays Jesse on his back on the table and heads up to the top rope, looking to dive through it and take the win. Jesse however manages to roll off the table at the last second, just as Joe takes to the air. He tries to adjust but still manages to crash into the corner of the table, causing one of the legs to snap but, as the commentators point out, not breaking the table itself. Jesse tries to capitalize by hitting Joe with a russian leg sweep and leans the broken table in the corner. He tries to whip Joe into it but Joe is able to stop him in his tracks with a forearm to the jaw. He then slips around behind Jesse and hits a back suplex, sending Jesse into the corner table on his neck. The table breaks and Joe gets the better of his brother yet again!</p><p>

We cut backstage to Sayeed Ali and Rajah, who are lounging around smoking cigars while deciding how best to take out Frankie Dee in tonight's cage match. Sayeed wants to find Dee backstage and beat him senseless, but Rajah suggests instead that he helps him out in the match, as a cage match is No DQ. They eventually settle by saying no matter what the plan, Dee has no hope of defeating their deadly alliance and they will, one way or another, walk away with his title.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Mosher VS Remmy Skye</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

"The Hardcore Headbanger" Mosher comes out irritably to almost no response, as the fans already know who he's fighting tonight. Indie darling Remmy Skye clearly has his fans in 4C, who welcome him to the promotion with generous applause. The commentators get over how much buzz is around Skye's signing with 4C and the anticipation for his debut.</p><p> </p><p>

The match starts and Mosher poses at Skye by headbanging and snarling at him, to which a bemused Skye chuckles and offers a lock up instead. Mosher responds by kicking Remmy in the stomach and backing him in the corner with furious punches. Skye gets a break from the ref and strikes back with a spinning heel kick off an irish whip. He follows up with a leg drop on Mosher's face, then waiting until he stands up before hitting a snapmare and a successive kick to the spine. Remmy is beginning to build up momentum as he huricanrana's Mosher right out of the ring to the outside! Mosher sells his back and tries to turn to leave, but Skye catapaults himself over the ropes with a graceful shooting star plancha! He collides with Mosher dead on and tosses him back into the ring, hitting him with his patented Skye Driver for the three count!</p><p>

After the last match clears out Greg Gauge's music hits and he walks out to the head of the ramp. He's not looking happy and the crowd soon finds out why.</p><p>

"My name," he begins, "is Gregory Gauge, but you already knew that. I'm supposed to make my debut tonight for 4C, but you know what? I'm not even sure if I'm gonna stick around. Because you see, I've already DONE this. I've already wrestled every podunk varsity hall in every dead end town like this one, and I am frankly sick to death of it. It's no secret that I'm the hottest thing out there, it's no secret that I'm bound to be in SWF or USPW before the DVD you're watching this on is even at your door. 4C is just another in a long line of loser feds that will just end up as a footnote on my illustrious career. But hey, at least you can tell your friends you saw Greg Gauge kick Thrill Seeker's ass in front of a couple dozen other stupid marks." By now the crowd has gone nuclear on Gauge as he finishes with "This show sucks, 4C can go to hell."</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Malone & Drake VS Bailey & McKane</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

The crowd prepares for tag team action as the reigning 4C Tag Team Champions Morgan Malone and Hudson Drake take on TJ Bailey & Clutch McKane. Malone and Drake are a young and headstrong team that has been relishing their championship belts, Malone practically shoving his belt into fan's faces as they make their way to the ring. They are cockier than usual tonight, which their opponents hope will lead to an upset win.</p><p> </p><p>

Malone and McKane start off the match. Malone wants to overpower Clutch, but the Speed King is too deft to get a hold of early in the matchup. He runs the ropes and leapfrogs Morgan before tossing him with three quick arm drags. Clutch applies pressure to the arm by tying up the champ, but Malone shrugs him off and goes for the tag. Drake comes in with a head of steam but McKane makes him look like a fool as he immediately drops him with a headscissors takedown. McKane seems to be outclassing the champs on his own, but Drake is able to distract the ref and take Clutch out of the game with a thumb to the eye. While the ref admonishes Drake, Clutch is able to tag in his partner TJ.</p><p> </p><p>

Bailey fares just as well as a leg lariat and a springboard elbow takes out Drake for a two. Next he attempts to put him in a figure four leg lock, but Drake is able to grab his head and pin him for a two count. Drake is quick to his feet and incapacitates Bailey with a basement dropkick and using the chance to tag in Malone. Malone takes control with a huge back body drop, followed by a sidewalk slam for a two. Bailey is able to mount a counter-attack with a suplex, but as he goes to the well for another Malone is able to reverse into a Malone In The Dark inverted flatliner. Malone makes the pin and retains for his team!</p><p>

Chris Flynn is backstage taping up his wrists for tonight's inaugural 4C Canadian Championship match. He says that as a 4C original, his career is full of firsts, like being the first ever graduate from the 4C Combat Academy. He says it's amazing that 4C has let a working-class kid from Nova Scotia follow his dream of becoming a champion, and now that dream could come true. Tonight is his chance to truly forge his own identity as the first ever 4C Canadian Champion.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Sayeed Ali (4C) VS Gram Gorman (ACPW)</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

While the formation of the new ECWA has been overshadowed somewhat by the actions of Mimic and the Nest of Vipers, Bambino and Ross talk about the new alliance and hype up our next match, another in a series of friendly contests between the two promotions. Ross mentions that when asked who from ACPW he'd like to face, Ali said "Give me the toughest bastard you got." And a tough bastard he'll get, as the no-nonsense look on the face of the scowling Irishman suggests that he came ready for a fight. Ali comes to the ring with a similar confidence, while Bambino tells the audience to prepare for a barn-burner.</p><p> </p><p>

The two combatants each have a lot to prove and so both come out of the gate swinging. They battle back and forth with vicious strikes and chops, each hit sounding more painful than the last. Ali tries to bash Gram's head into the turnbuckle, but Gorman is able to transition behind him and hit a bridging german suplex for the early two count. Ali clearly wasn't anticipating getting tossed around that easily and quickly steps up his game, clobbering Gorman with a lariat and hitting a samoan drop. </p><p> </p><p>

Gorman may be a good brawler but Ali is a bona-fide street fighter. He needs to get Gram to play his game and so he whips him outside to the floor and begins unleashing stomps to his back. Gorman gets up and tries to create some space by irish whipping Ali, but it's reversed and Gorman is sent headfirst into the ringpost. Ali keeps up the pressure as he whips Gorman hard into the guard rail. Ali is mindful of the ref's count and prepares to finish Gorman off. He picks up the Irishman and holds him over his head and smashes him shoulder first on the ring apron in a vicious powerbomb! Ali rolls into the ring and awaits the ref's countout, but miraculously Gram is able to claw his way back into the ring to a round of applause from the crowd.</p><p> </p><p>

Gorman is refusing to go down, clubbing away at Ali's head while Sayeed returns the favor. Finally Gram is able to land a hit that dazes Ali and picks him up into a devastating package piledriver, the Gorman Aghast! He goes for the pin and the ref counts one... two... kick out! Gorman can't believe his ears as the ref repeats "It was two! It was two!", but doesn't see Sayeed get to his feet and take position behind him. Gorman turns right around into the GBH Driver and Sayeed makes the pin for the three count following this brutal hoss battle.</p><p>

Thrill Seeker is backstage and tells the fans that unlike his opponent tonight, he couldn't wait to come to 4C as he's always looking for a fresh challenge. He's been up Everest and down the Amazon river, but the biggest thrill he's found is between the ropes of a wrestling ring. He's traveled the world to prove he's one of the best and tonight Gauge is going to get a major wake-up call.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Chris Flynn VS Hugh de Aske VS Eric Blackley VS Nathaniel Ca$ino</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

From the ashes of the 4C Hardcore Championship comes the Canadian Championship, a prize for the young, hard-working wrestlers that represent 4C's future. Tonight, to decide who receives the honor of being the first reigning champion, the belt will be suspended high up in the air, awaiting whoever has the drive and the passion to retrieve it! All four competitors look up high at the prize suspended above them before sizing up their opponents as the bell rings to start this contest.</p><p> </p><p>

Immediately Ca$ino heads right for de Aske, the two having feuded over Ca$ino's now-defunct Hardcore Championship a few months prior. While Ca$ino lays into de Aske with knees and chops, Flynn and Blackley shrug and lock up with one another. de Aske meanwhile has managed to fend off Ca$ino with a running bulldog, while Blackley ties up Flynn with a wrist lock. de Aske sees Flynn standing there helplessly and runs up to clock him with an enziguri, surprising Blackley as Flynn crumples to the floor while still in the wrist lock. de Aske shocks Blackley again by hitting him with a double knee facebreaker. With his three opponents briefly taken out, de Aske hurries to the outside to collect the towering steel ladder and slide it into the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

de Aske begins setting up the ladder, but as he's positioning it under the belt, Nathaniel Ca$ino comes out of nowhere with a steel chair and swings it hard into de Aske's back, who collapses onto one knee and holds onto the ladder for support. Ca$ino uses this chance to drop de Aske with a famaser! He quickly turns to the ladder and begins climbing the rungs at a desperate pace, but he's thwarted when Flynn rises to tip the ladder over, which sends Ca$ino face first into the turnbuckle. Blackley comes to as well and gives Flynn a bit of a nod as the two team up on Ca$ino, hitting him with a double suplex to a big pop. Flynn and Blackley then jokingly congratulate each other on the move before locking up again, this time Flynn getting the better of Blackley with a belly-to-belly suplex. Before Flynn has a chance to breathe he turns around to see de Aske, who hits him with a Peg Leg Dropkick as the crowd calls out "Arr!" and de Aske begins to get fired up. He notices Ca$ino begin to stir and hip tosses him onto the prone Blackley, then hits a senton onto the both of them! </p><p> </p><p>

de Aske grabs the ladder and sets it up again but this time Flynn has arrived to club him with forearms before hitting him with a snap suplex. Flynn then begins to ascend the ladder, but de Aske is back on his feet and not far behind. They meet each other at the top of the ladder and begin trading strikes, each man teetering on the edge of falling off with each impact. But before either can gain the advantage Blackley pulls himself to his feet and topples the ladder over, sending both Flynn and de Aske into the ropes. Blackley is hurt from the senton but has enough energy to clothesline the both of them out of the ring! He hangs over the ropes to catch his breath, but Ca$ino attacks him from behind with his steel chair! Blackley falls to his knees as Ca$ino drops the chair on the ground and hits him with a inverted DDT onto it, headfirst! </p><p> </p><p>

The crafty Nathaniel Ca$ino is now standing tall in the ring, but Chris Flynn has managed to pull himself up the ring steps and is now rolling in to face him, de Aske stirring not far behind. Ca$ino lays into Flynn with several boots and then climbs up the turnbuckle to take him out with the Double or Nothing moonsault, but de Aske climbs onto the apron and pushes him off. de Aske is now poised to take out Flynn with a crossbody, but the crowd is shocked as Flynn manages to catch him out of the air hurls him into a huge spinebuster! With de Aske, Blackley and Ca$ino all incapacitated, Flynn is able to set up the ladder and gingerly climb it to remove the title and become the first ever 4C Canadian Champion! The crowd's reaction to his emotional title win was mixed, as some had thought de Aske was sure to take the title. Nevertheless, The Graduate gazes at his first ever singles championship as he celebrates in the ring.</p><p>

The announcers, breathless from calling the last match, cut to 4C Champion Frankie Dee backstage. He cuts a pensive promo, acknowledging that with Sayeed Ali working with Rajah the deck is stacked against him. But he points to his title saying that he carries all the proof he needs that he's more than a match for either of them, and inside the steel cage Rajah will have no friends to help him.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Thrill Seeker VS Greg Gauge</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

The commentators hype up the penultimate match up, saying it's between the two hottest signings in 4C history. One, a highly respected veteran and staple of the Canadian wrestling scene, the other a second-generation prodigy already renowned around the world. Thrill Seeker enters to an energetic welcome from the 4C faithful, while Greg Gauge sulks to the ring amidst a chorus of boos. Gauge scoffs in the faces of the fans as he plays up how little he wants to be there.</p><p> </p><p>

The action gets off to a surprisingly slow start, as Seeker wants to take the early advantage but Gauge is using every rule in the book to avoid actually wrestling him. As Seeker begins to get impatient Gauge goes as far as to hide behind the ref to the crowds dismay. Finally he's had enough as he firmly pushes the ref to the side and smacks Gauge with a chop across the chest before sending him into the ropes for a snap powerslam. Seeker is immediately on him with a headlock, which Gauge is quick to power out of with a jawjacker. Gauge hops to his feet and gets a running start before nearly taking Seeker's head off with a slingblade, after which he goes for the cover for a two count. </p><p> </p><p>

By now Gauge has given up trying to weasel his way out of wrestling this match and begins taking the fight to Thrill Seeker. He hits a textbook northern lights suplex followed by a beautiful tiger suplex with a bridging pin for another two, but Seeker is able to get back into it with a drop toe hold and a follow-up fisherman's buster as he two gets a two count. He motions to the turnbuckle as the fans get to their feet. He secures his balance and dives off with a Daredevil Drop, and... Gauge gets his knees up! Seeker clutches his chest as he topples over, before Gauge catches him in the Proton Lock! Thrill Seeker is in a dangerous position as Gauge cinches in the hold. The ref asks him twice if he wants to give up but Seeker won't give in, finally reaching the bottom rope after what felt like several agonizing minutes.</p><p> </p><p>

Gauge won't give Seeker a moment to rest however, as he stomps on his now injured shoulders mercilessly. He drags his opponent to his feet only to take him back down again with an arm drag, trying to soften him up for the Proton Lock again. However, Seeker is able to avoid a second one with a standing drop kick before hitting the dazed Gauge with a European uppercut into the corner followed up with a monkey flip, landing Gauge hard on his back. Seeker once again motions up top and climbs the turnbuckle, going for the Daredevil Drop again and... nails it! He crashes into Gauge and makes the cover for the three.</p><p>

As Thrill Seeker celebrates his win the commentary team are made aware of a developing situation backstage and direct the audience's attention as they cut to footage of the parking lot outside the Thunder Bay Varsity Arena. The camera footage is slightly shaky as it seems the cameraman does not want to be seen by somebody, as they peer around the corner at three figures standing around a black van. </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="Q2ORUO6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Q2ORUO6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="B7rrdNl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/B7rrdNl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="cE3sIiG.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cE3sIiG.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p>

It's The Nest of Vipers! As the camera focuses in on them Mimic appears to be directing Dagger and Katoh Freak to load several bags into the van, Dagger tossing the kendo stick used to beat Too Hot in the back with them. Suddenly, Mimic turns and makes eye contact with the camera, as the cameraman ducks back behind the corner. The cameraman waits a moment, hesitates, then beings to peek back again before nearly dropping his camera as he sees Mimic standing right in front of him.</p><p>

"Gentlemen," he says coldly, "it seems a mouse has wandered into The Nest. How... fortuitous." </p><p>

He grabs the cameraman by his shirt and begins dragging him to the van as he calls out "Wait, stop, please I just work here! Let me go!". They're almost at the van when suddenly somebody yells across the parking lot:</p><p>

"HEY! Over there, I see them!"</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="OdNiA6u.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OdNiA6u.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="dbx92ym.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/dbx92ym.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="zhxa5vU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/zhxa5vU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Too Hot sprints into view wielding a steel chair, flanked by Jason Thunder and Lightning Lomas! Upon seeing them Mimic bellows "START THE VAN!" at Dagger who climbs into the driver's seat as Mimic drops the cameraman and flees with Katoh Freak to the back doors of the van. Too Hot, Thunder and Lightning run up just as they begin to pull out of the lot, Too Hot smashing the hood with his chair as they peel out, Mimic glaring through the open back doors as they drive off into the frigid Thunder Bay night. Jason Thunder helps the cameraman to his feet as the shot cuts on Too Hot standing in the middle of the street still brandishing the dented chair.</p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;">Frankie Dee VS Rajah</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

The steel cage lowers and the fans begin to feel the anticipation as the Main Event draws near. The Champion Frankie Dee enters first, looking fierce and determined as he proudly displays the 4C Title on his shoulder. Rajah comes in with a decidedly more brash attitude, mouthing off to fans as he approaches the massive imposing steel structure. The doors are locked shut and the competitors eye each other from across the ring as ref Andy Gordy displays the title to the both of them. The bell rings and this battle is underway!</p><p> </p><p>

Rajah walked into this match with the gameplan of weakening Dee with strikes. Bad idea, as getting into a striking match with the martial arts prowess of Frankie Dee is an exercise in futility. Dee is able to counter Rajahs jabs and hooks into shattering knees and powerful palm strikes. A huricanrana sends Rajah flying across the ring. Dee looks to put him down early with a kick to the head, but Rajah manages to dodge it and topple the champ with a low sweeping kick. Rising to his feet to get a second wind Rajah deflates upon realizing he has no outside area to retreat to. Turning his attention back to Frankie he hits him with a hip toss, and arm drag and a sitout facebuster. A pin attempt is kicked out of at one, but Rajah stays on him and uses the ropes to hit a slingshot fisherman's buster for a two. </p><p> </p><p>

Rajah may have kept his cool before but now he's beginning to get frustrated. He admonishes the ref for a slow count, but it schoolboyed by Dee for a two count, which Dee follows up with a shining wizard to knock Rajah senseless! Sensing an opportunity, Frankie climbs the turnbuckle and begins climbing the cage. He makes it about halfway up when suddenly...</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="qW4M5X1.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/qW4M5X1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Sayeed Ali appears at the head of the ramp, steel chair in hand! He sprints down to ringside as Dee reaches the top of the cage, looking down to see a furious Ali smashing his chair repeatedly against the cage wall. Deciding on a different route, Dee lowers himself back down to the turnbuckle as Rajah begins to rise to his feet before getting flattened with a missile dropkick from Frankie. Dee is getting fired up and needs to put Rajah away, pulling Rajah up and whipping him into the ropes, but it backfires horribly as Rajah is able to hit the VIP Pass, his springboard reverse rana! He goes for the pin and Ali celebrates prematurely as Dee kicks out at two, as the fans go insane! Rajah wants to put Dee away for good and sets up a powerbomb, but Dee reverses and hits Rajah with a thunderous Shinanju Kick! However, as Frankie celebrates in the ring with his title, the ref unlocks the cage door to allow Rajah to leave, only to have Sayeed Ali bowl him over and storm the cage! Ali wastes no time and delivers a smashing chair shot to Dee, who was still recovering from the match. Rajah joins the beatdown as the two lash out at the champ with stomps and kicks, before Ali finishes the job with a brutal GBH Driver onto the steel chair. With the champ laid out the two allies climb the turnbuckles and jeer into the crowd to a chorus of boos to close out the show.</p><p>

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</p><p>

<span style="font-size:10px;">A decent show overall, some segments were a bit of a disappointment but it's better than my first 4C show usually turns out. Thrill Seeker and Gauge stole the show easily, de Aske also having a great night. Morgan Malone picked up a sore back from the tag match but will be healed in more than enough time for X Factor though. </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:10px;">

To anybody reading this, is my style of storytelling too long? I'm worried that it's going to be such a slog that nobody will want to read all of it, but I don't know how I can cut down because it just comes naturally this way for me. Please let me know if you have any feedback, I'd greatly appreciate it! I'll have the card up for ACPW Salvation soon, and I'll make sure I add a more prediction-friendly format if anybody wants to make some guesses!</span></p>

"Good evening and welcome wrestling fans! We're here in Truro, Nova Scotia to witness the death-defying and scintillating action that could only be... ACPW SALVATION! I'm Tony Marsh and with me is my broadcast partner Face Nelson. Face, we've got quite the show lined up tonight and from what I understand a bit of controversy as well?"

"That's right Tony, tonight's main event is a MASSIVE three way elimination bout for the ACPW Junior Heavyweight Championship, as Diablo Duvak defends his title against both Jamie Atherton AND the cryptic and devious Mimic. And Tony, a lot of guys in the back are scratching their heads wondering what exactly Mimic has done to earn a title shot in the past month, and some might even say that his actions at 4C Cage Rage should preclude him from being in the championship hunt. But frankly, I think Mimic's actions ABSOLUTELY qualify him for a title shot, look at all the good work he's done to create buzz for ACPW so we can grow as a brand! He's out there proving to everybody that the best talent in Canada is right here in ACPW, and if a few chumps like Too Hot get thrashed in the process, well, that sounds like a small price to me."

"I don't know if most people would agree with you there Face, not the least of which would be Too Hot himself. I can only imagine what he'll have to say about this whole situation at 4C X-Factor, but right now we've got our first contest underway, as our ACPW Tag Team Champions make their way to the ring!"

Damage Inc. VS The Inner City Express

Having come up short last month at Brave and the Bold, Jay Becker and Malik Cash look to raise the stakes in their on-going war with Tag Team Champs Damage Incorporated. Tonight the addition of the tables stipulation may slightly favor the streetwise pair, as they are much more at home with the no disqualification rules. The two teams face off as four tables are set up around ringside and the ref displays tonight's prize to each team.

The bell rings and immediately Becker and Cash begin to pummel Devyn Reynaud and Kamikaze with pounding strikes. Becker clotheslines Reynaud to the outside and the two focus on Kamikaze, hitting him with a back body drop before Cash added a leg drop for good measure. Before they can continue the assault, however, Reynaud climbs back into the ring and flattens Becker with a running dropkick, before tossing Cash around the ring with a series of crisp arm drags. Perhaps unwisely The Express rolls to the outside to catch their breath, but before they get the chance they are clobbered by tandem topés from Reynaud & 'Kaze. The two begin to work over Cash but do not see Becker slip away, allowing him to grab a chair from ringside and come around to ambush Damage Inc., swinging the chair at Kamikaze's torso before sending it into Reynaud's gut and cracking him across the back as a receipt.

Having shifted control of the match, Becker and Cash change their focus to getting their opponents through the tables. An attempted samoan drop to Kamikaze through the table is thwarted when Reynaud jumps to his feet and catches his partner just in time to soften the impact and prevent the table from breaking. An enziguri to Becker clears some space, but before he can rouse 'Kaze, Cash has climbed to the top rope and is setting up a dive! Devyn is able to push 'Kaze off the table at the last second, causing Cash to crash and burn through the table and eliminate himself! Becker can hardly believe it, and now facing the prospect of fighting the rest of this match alone he tosses the chair and another table into the ring and readies himself.

Reynaud and Kamikaze enter the ring cautiously as Becker is standing in the middle swinging his chair around erratically. He lunges for Kamikaze but his two opponents overpower and disarm him. Reynaud tells his partner to ready a table as he grounds Becker in a submission hold to subdue him. 'Kaze sets up the table and the two prepare to suplex Becker into it, but he's able to break free with vicious forearms. He clobbers Reynaud but himself gets clocked by Kamikaze, who turns to run the ropes and attack Becker, but it backfires as Becker counters with a spinebuster through the table!

The odds evened, Jay looks to the barely stirring Malik in a heap at ringside and gets ready to put Reynaud away and brutally stomps him into the corner, face washing him with his boot, buying him some time. He exits the ring and tosses in another table, which he promptly sets up against one of the turnbuckles. He picks up the dazed Reynaud and prepares to powerbomb him through the table, but as he's hoisted into the air Reynaud fights back with shots to Becker's face. A split second after breaking the hold he leaps into a lightning-fast neckbreaker, the Devyn Retribution! Reynaud gets fired up and motions to the crowd before he pulls Becker to his feet and hits a crisp northern lights suplex through the table for the win!

We cut to Mimic backstage who is pacing about an empty locker room. He says that his shot at the ACPW Junior Heavyweight Championship is not only well-earned but massively overdue. He claims to be the driving force behind ACPW's success and has been proving it to their enemies time and time again, saying that Too Hot has sampled the Viper's Venom and skulked off to lick his wounds. He proclaims that that he will drag ACPW into the future kicking and screaming, starting tonight with Duvak and Atherton.

Marcel LeFleur VS Max Mayhem

The young upstart Marcel LeFleur enters the arena with a look of disdain on his face, he sneers at the crowd as he enters the ring and refuses to shake the hand of his opponent, journeyman talent from MAW, Max Mayhem. As the match begins it appears LeFleur is outclassed by the veteran, falling prey to a single-leg dropkick and a snap suplex that sent him reeling. Mayhem begins to pick up some steam but his momentum is brought to a halt when LeFleur draws him to the outside and ambushes him with a superkick. LeFleur quickly gets him to his feet and drops him on the floor with a fallaway slam before rolling into the ring and sarcastically bowing for the audience, hoping to win by count out. However, Max is able to return to the ring to LeFleur's disgust.

The two begin to successively one up each other, whether it be back-and-forth chops or a sequence that saw them both hit a step-up enziguri at the same time, sending each crashing to the mat in a heap. Mayhem is able to get the upper hand with a springboard splash before hitting LeFleur with an impressive gutwrench suplex for a two count. LeFleur is able to regain control with a basement dropkick and tries to lock in the Parisian Chickenwing but Mayhem grabs the ropes almost immediately. An inverted DDT gets Mayhem for a two before he bounces right back with a facecrusher for a two count of his own. Mayhem climbs the turnbuckle and gets ready for the Canadian Tumbleweed diving cannonball, but as he makes impact LeFleur deftly catches him in the Parisian Chickenwing! With no ropes in sight Max Mayhem taps out, giving LeFleur the win.

Jayson Van Pelt is backstage preparing for his Canadian Regional No. 1 Contender's Match against Mario da Silva. He says da Silva is a tough opponent, one of the toughest he's faced, but if he can outlast him with Ant-Man also in the mix then he's sure he can come out with the victory. He says he's let one chance at the belt slip through his fingers and he's not going to let it happen again.

Dagger VS Topher Grace

These two competitors have met in the ring before in the Tag Team Title hunt, but tonight, with both of their regular partners otherwise occupied, Dagger and Topher Grace face off at Salvation. Dagger takes control early, bullying Topher around the ring with elbows and and knee strike to the midsection. Dagger's kickboxing background is paying off as he's keeping the young Gopher off balance with stiff strikes, but a reversal of a suplex leads to Topher gaining momentum with a big lariat. A belly to belly suplex to Dagger gets a two count and a snapmare sets him up for a sharp dropkick to the spine.

Dagger is beginning to lose his patience and tries to gain control again but a powerslam by Topher gets another two count and a hurricanrana sends him careening across the ring and out to ringside. Bad place for Dagger to be, as Topher launches into the Gopher Suicide Dive, knocking Dagger clean off his feet. He quickly throws his opponent back in the ring and goes for a roll-up pin. Dagger manages to kick out a half second after the ref counts the three and Topher steals the upset win, leaving Dagger incensed in the ring.

Grimm & Gram VS King & Bishop

Having spent the last month in ECWA inter-promotional matches, Gram Gorman had little time to tag with his partner Grimm Quibble, but with that excursion out of the way the two are ready to get back to business, tonight against the pairing of Sky King and Reggie Bishop. The smash-mouth style of Grimm and Gram is put directly head to head against the high flying King & Bishop as this tag team bout gets underway.

Quibble starts off against Sky King, who obliges Grimm for a lockup. Grimm is too powerful however, and is able to hit King with a belly to back suplex and a follow up axe handle to the back. Sky King needs to get some movement going and is able to get his wind back after leap-frogging Quibble and sending him flying with a monkey flip. He tags in Bishop who climbs to the top rope and hits Quibble with a diving splash for a two count. Bishop hopes to keep up the offence from that point but is stopped in his tracks with a clothesline, before suffering a nasty Alabama slam Grimm for a two. After the kickout he makes the tag to Gram Gorman, who is right in Bishop's face with several chops before hitting a crushing backbreaker. Gorman tries to get him to submit with a camel clutch, but Bishop makes the ropes in time and tries to drag himself to his corner, but Gorman pulls him back by the foot and hits a deadlift German suplex for a very close two count!

Sky King looks on as Gorman continues to maim his tag partner reaching out as far as he can for the tag. Gorman makes a tag of his own before he and Quibble hit a double team inverted Russian leg sweep. They look ready to hit Bishop with another crushing move but Sky King recognizes the urgency and climbs to the turnbuckle to hit Grim and Gram with a Sky King Splash! He takes out both men and then drags Bishop's lifeless body over the legal Grimm Quibble, but the count only makes it to two. As Gorman begins to stir Sky King looks to nail him with a springboard corkscrew elbow, but Gorman European uppercuts him in midair! With Sky King seemingly out cold, Grim & Gram give each other a nod before climbing opposite turnbuckles and landing the Dual Diving Headbutt on Bishop as Quibble gets the pin for the victory!

Grim & Gram def. King & Bishop via pinfall (D)

Backstage is 4C's inaugural Canadian Champion Chris Flynn, who won the new title last month in a grueling 4-Way Ladder Match at 4C Cage Rage. He says that he's here tonight to put ACPW's own Canadian Regional Champion Ant-Man to the test. He says that they're two of the best Canada has to offer, but he's going back to Ontario having proved he's better than the rest.

Jayson Van Pelt VS Mario da Silva

Our next contest pits Jayson "The Sensation" Van Pelt against "The Tap Out Artist" Mario da Silva. Both were pinned by Canadian Regional Champ Ant-Man at Brave and the Bold, but tonight they must prove which of them deserves another shot at the gold.

The bell rings and the two combatants take their time sizing the other up, da Silva offering a tie-up which Van Pelt obliges. Jayson stuns the entire arena as he's able to keep up with da Silva in the opening exchanges, the two of them doggedly trying to gain the upperhand while smoothly transitioning from hold to hold. However da Silva is able to pull Jayson's feet out from under him and looks to apply a heel hook, which Van Pelt senses and reverses with a sharp kick. The two continue to negotiate fast-paced technical sequences, Jayson even coming close to gaining the upper hand with a wrist lock before da Silva flips out of it. But before he can counter-attack, Jayson gives up the ghost of out-wrestling Mario and flattens him with a spinning heel kick.

Jayson gains the initiative and a snap suplex gets Mario for a two count. He gets ready to keep up the offensive but da Silva is able to grab his leg and roll through into a knee bar! Van Pelt is in agony as he scratches and claws his way to the bottom rope, breaking the hold. Once free Jayson tries in desperation to hit an Axe Kick to put Mario away, but he dodges it and nails a bridging northern lights suplex for a two count. Da Silva tries to keep up the pressure but Van Pelt is able to lash out with a forearm that catches Mario across the collar bone and a follow up sidewalk slam leaves him laid out in the middle of the ring. Van Pelt senses his opportunity and climbs the turnbuckle and dives into a somersault legdrop! He goes for the pin but da Silva kicks out at the last second, and the look on Jayson's face says he has no idea what will put da Silva away.

Coming to his senses, Van Pelt decides he needs to hit da Silva with a big move in order to get the three. He lifts him up into a fireman's carry position before dropping him on his knee for the ushigoroshi...! But da Silva instead lands on his feet and drops Jayson with a Pele kick! Within seconds he has the dazed Van Pelt trapped in the Kimura lock, and within a few brief moments Jayson taps out! Mario da Silva becomes the new No. 1 Contender to Ant-Man's Canadian Regional Title and will go on to face him at ACPW's Damaged.

We cut to backstage where we see ACPW Junior Heavyweight Champion Diablo Duvak preparing for his title defense. As he's taping up his wrists, Jamie Atherton enters the locker room in his fur coat and chains. Duvak gets to his feet immediately, but Atherton tells him to cool his jets. He says there's no point in punking him out backstage when they both have Mimic to worry about, he just wanted to make sure Duvak says goodbye to his title. Duvak says it doesn't matter if it's two, ten or twenty guys in that ring, he'll take them all down just the same, starting with Atherton himself. Jamie laughs and says that with the odds being so against him he'll be lucky if he walks out of here in one piece, but it certainly won't be with his title. Duvak and Atherton are nearly forehead-to-forehead at this point when somebody else enters the locker room.

Q2ORUO6.jpg

Mimic appears and circles the two men like a predator eyeing up it's prey. He says that neither of them are fit to occupy his throne and he's the one true Salvation for ACPW. Atherton calls Mimic a fool and a freak, to which Mimic responds that he and his freaks will make fools of everybody who dare oppose them. Duvak's had enough and says that only one thing makes you the top guy in ACPW, and that's around his waist, before storming out and leaving Mimic to eye up an uncomfortable Atherton.

Chris Flynn (4C) VS Ant-Man (ACPW)

Tonight we will witness the first ever Eastern Canada Wrestling Alliance Champion VS Champion match, as 4C's first ever Canadian Champion, "The Graduate" Chris Flynn takes on ACPW's Canadian Regional Champion, the deceptively-powerful Ant-Man. Both men stand in the middle of the ring and hold their belts high; the commentator's put over the fact that we may very well be seeing the future of Canadian wrestling in this ring tonight. The two Champions shake hands and with the ringing of the bell this match is underway.

Flynn clearly expected to bowl over Ant-Man as he's taken aback by the agility and power that the smaller and younger man comes roaring out of the gate with. Flynn finds himself being thrown around with hip tosses and arm drags before Ant-Man launches him with a massive back body drop. Flynn is able to prevent further attacks with a back elbow before showing Ant-Man that he can pull off power moves as well, as a release German suplex has him land directly on his neck. A double-underhook suplex gets Flynn a two, but as he tries to go for the Flynn Lock crossface, Ant-Man is able to turn over and kick Flynn away. Chris then tries to get a running start but Ant-Man gracefully counters into a powerslam for his own two count.

Ant-Man has Flynn dazed in the corner and gets a running start at him but Flynn responds by sending him face first into the turnbuckle with snake eyes before planting him into the mat with a uranagi. A running senton and pin attempt gets another two count and Ant-Man looks to be in serious trouble. Flynn looks to try a straightjacket slam but Ant-Man breaks free and hits him with a lightning-fast cutter. A baseball slide to Flynn's face as he attempts to stand up has got Ant-Man feeling it, and he pulls Flynn to his feet and hits him with a textbook brainbuster! The ref counts one... two... Two and a half! Flynn kicks out and Ant-Man pulls at his hair in frustration and decides instead to climb up to the second rope, looking to level the rising Flynn with a diving spear, but Flynn sidesteps it and manages to slip on the Flynn Lock! Ant-Man is frantically trying to escape but it's made clear that he's completely trapped and he's forced to submit. Chris Flynn wins the first ever ECWA Champion VS Champion match, and after celebrating he and Ant-Man face each other in the ring once again before clinking their title belts together and shaking hands.

Diablo Duvak VS Jamie Atherton VS Mimic

Diablo Duvak is much less expressive tonight, he has a solemn look of defiance on his face as he holds his ACPW Jr Heavyweight Championship title high for all to see. The odds are firmly against him and he's up against two of ACPW's most dangerous competitors, the dynamic and street-wise Jamie Atherton and the devious, enigmatic Mimic. As the bell rings Duvak is primed and ready to explode, expecting both his opponents to jump him from the word go. However, surprising everybody, Mimic immediately drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring, gesturing for his confused opponents to get on with the match without him. Atherton uses the distraction to his advantage as he begins to club away at Duvak with chops to the chest, backing him into the corner and hitting him with a shining wizard. He whips Duvak into the opposite corner but he jumps to the second turnbuckle and hits Jamie with a springboard leg lariat. He decides to inflict some punishment on his rival as he locks Atherton into a painful surfboard hold, when suddenly Mimic re-appears holding a steel chair. He drives it straight into Atherton's exposed abdomen before pinning Duvak to the ground with the legs of the chair, yelling "What, did you forget this is no DQ?!?" in Duvak's face.

Atherton, clutching at his ribs in agony, rolls to the outside as Mimic plays up to the crowd. He places the chair on top of Duvak before hitting a senton on top of it, going for the pin but only getting a two count. Mimic grins sadistically at this and begins to viciously kick Duvak aside every time he tries to get to his feet. The cheap shots don't end there as he slaps the back of his head and even goes as far to stomp on his fingers, eliciting a chorus of boos from the crowd. Finally he lifts a groggy Duvak to his feet before clotheslining him over the top rope and out to the floor of the arena, grabbing his now dented steel chair before following. He lays into Duvak with two horrific chair shots to the back, but as he raises the chair over his head to deliver the third blow, somebody jumps the security railing and runs full tilt towards him.

OdNiA6u.jpg

It's Too Hot! Arriving in ACPW once again to enact revenge on the Nest of Vipers, Too Hot grabs ahold of the chair a moment before Mimic took his third swing, causing him to turn around in disbelief before being kicked in the midsection and given a nasty DDT on the chair! Too Hot throws the incapacitated Mimic into the ring and climbs the turnbuckle, waiting for his foe to gradually stumble to his feet before hitting him with the Heat Seeking Missile, a huge diving spear from the top rope! Mimic is leveled by the impact and Too Hot ducks back out of the ring before rolling the slightly-stirring Diablo Duvak in and placing his arm over Mimic for the pin. The ref counts the three and Mimic is eliminated! Too Hot then climbs back over the railing and poses with fans, laughing in Mimic's face as he comes to and seethes with rage at his now assuredly mortal enemy.

With Mimic eliminated and Duvak still out, Jamie Atherton groggily climbs back into the ring and attempts to steal an easy pin of his own, but is thwarted when Diablo raises his shoulder after just one count from the ref. Jamie pulls Duvak to his feet but is greeted with a stiff elbow to the jaw, which he returns in kind. The two slug each other about the face over and over before Atherton just outright slaps Duvak across the cheek, to which he responds with a headbutt that topples Atherton in a heap. Duvak is then in control, schooling Jamie with a headscissors takedown and a springboard thrust kick. A sit-out facebuster on Jamie gets a two count, and Duvak looks like he's nearly hit his limit. He has to find a way to put Atherton out for good or he'll become dangerously exposed.

Duvak decides to take a risk and goes to the top rope, hoping that a frogsplash will be enough to end the match, but just as he readies himself Atherton is at his feet and pulls out Duvak's feet before climbing up himself and managing to hit a hurricanrana off the top rope! Duvak clears half the ring, lands on his back and uses what little energy he has to end up on his knees, but that gives Jamie the opening he was looking for. He gets a running start and hits the Lightning Bolt, a vicious spinning heel kick to the back of the head. Duvak is rocked by the blow, and Atherton makes the pin! One... Two... Three! The bell rings and Jamie Atherton slumps over in exhaustion. The now three-time ACPW Junior Heavyweight Champion pulls himself up and clutches his title as ACPW Salvation comes to a close.

Alright, sorry that entry took a while, I was on vacation! Thanks to BHK1978 and MisterRomanini for their predictions, MisterRomanini got an impressive 7 out of 8 correct while BHK1978 got 4 of 8. I find it interesting that you both picked Mimic to win the title, I guess because he's been the most visible character so far, but I have other plans for him! Price VS Little Dragon had to be moved to the pre-show due to time constraints, but that match sucked so no harm, no foul.

Pretty happy with how this turned out, considering ACPW's second event got the same rating as 4C's last show. Next event is 4C X-Factor, I'll hopefully have a match card for you this weekend. Thanks a ton if you gave this a read, any feedback is always appreciated.

4C Presents... X-FACTOR

2,000 at Quebec City Arena (SOLD OUT)

Overall: D

Pre-Show:

Keiji Takano def. Preston Fuller via pinfall (E-)

Bailey & McKane def. Zak Attack & Robin Newman via pinfall (E)

vyKf7Xb.jpgq6Tnxiw.jpg

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Quebec City Arena, where 2,000 of the 4C Faithful have gathered to witness 4C X-Factor! I'm Lee Bambino here with my broadcast partner Ted Ross, and Ted, you GOTTA be excited about tonight's main event!"

"I sure am Lee, Frankie Dee has had his hands full with both Sayeed Ali as well as Rajah for the past several months, and yet he still holds on to the 4C Championship! I can't wait to see what stops he'll have to pull out against Sayeed here tonight!"

"Thank you Ted, all that and more here tonight at 4C X-Factor, but first let's go live to Terry Smith in ring, who is standing by with Jason Thunder, Lightning Lomas and Too Hot!"

myffjzr.jpgOdNiA6u.jpgdbx92ym.jpgzhxa5vU.jpg

"Thank you Lee and Ted! Now Too Hot, for the past few months you've been in an increasingly violent rivalry with Mimic and his Nest of Vipers from over in ACPW. Tonight, you and Thunder & Lightning here will finally get your chance at meeting Mimic in a fair contest. What's your plan going into this six man tag match later tonight?"

"Well Terry it's simple. Mimic has been acting like a punk, hiding in the shadows and stabbing us in the back. But tonight, when me and my boys here step in between these ropes, there's gonna be nowhere left for him to hide, baby."

"That's right, Too Hot." interjects Jason Thunder, grabbing the mic. "In fact I'm sure that I can speak for all three of us when I say that it'll be a pleasure to give Mimic and his goons what's coming to 'em. This is Quebec City, this is 4C territory, and we're gonna send those clowns packing back to ACPW with a few things to think about."

Too Hot grabs the mic back and is about to speak, but he is interrupted by a loud drone and the lights cutting out to face the stage.

Q2ORUO6.jpgB7rrdNl.jpgcE3sIiG.jpg

Mimic has arrived with The Nest of Vipers! He and his squad of merry misfits stand at the top of the ramp and stare down at the ring. However, they don't advance, and Mimic uncharacteristically has not brought a mic with him. Too Hot then shouts "Cut that music! Mimic, you've got nowhere left to run. Me and my 4C Alliance are gonna pay you back for all that you've done, but if you want to get a head start... Come on down and let's get it started!" He throws down the mic and he and Thunder & Lightning ready themselves, but after smirking for a moment, Mimic waves the Vipers off and they retreat to the back, leaving Too Hot and his 4C Alliance alone in the ring.

Joe Gilbert VS Jesse Gilbert

Tensions continue to boil over in the Gilbert clan, as tonight, their choice weapon is suspended up on a pole set up on one of the far turnbuckles. Jesse is focused and determined, while Joe grins and tries to mess up Jesse's hair, causing him to lose it and begin pummeling his brother as the bell rings to start the match. Jesse takes control early, flattening Joe with two clotheslines before hurling him into the turnbuckle while following up with a running elbow. Jesse turns his attention to the hockey stick sitting high above them and begins climbing the turnbuckle, but Joe is able to pull him off into a super back suplex! He goes for the pin and Jesse kicks out at two.

Joe turns his attention to the stick now. He begins climbing to reach it, but Jesse is back up and is trying to grab onto his boot. In response, Joe kicks Jesse in the face and sends him back to the mat. He reaches the top of the turnbuckle and is able to detach the stick and jump down! He immediately seizes upon his brother as he tries to rise to his feet, slashing the blade of the stick across his back! He strikes him again in the chest, then again, before straddling Jesse and trying to choke him out with the stick across his windpipe. Joe gets both shoulders down for the pin, but Jesse is able to force his way out and clatter Joe with a right hand. He gets to his feet as Joe swings the stick at him again, but this time he is able to block the blow and fights Joe for control of the stick. Joe wrenches it free and swings, but Jesse ducks under and schoolboys him for the pin, but it's not enough for the three.

Jesse is beginning to look desperate and out of breath while Joe uses the stick to steady himself. Jesse has one last burst of energy in the tank and runs the ropes to flatten Joe with a running dropkick. He waits until his brother gets to his feet before lifting him up, bouncing his legs off the ropes and delivering a slingshot powerslam, the Slap Shot! He goes for the pin, one, two... Joe kicks out! Jesse looks ready to snap and put Joe away for good as he grabs the hockey stick and prepares to swing it at Joe's head, but Joe ducks it, kicks Jesse in the midsection and hits a devastating swinging neckbreaker, the Face Off! One, two and three, Joe defeats his brother yet again in brutal fashion.

Joe Gilbert def. Jesse Gilbert via pinfall. (E+)

Sayeed Ali is backstage with Rajah as he prepares for his 4C Championship Main Event against Frankie Dee later tonight. Ali is trying to solidify a gameplan with Rajah for how he'll ensure Ali's victory, but Rajah is easily distracted and keeps going off topic to talk up his dance moves or insult another un-related wrestler. Ali bangs on the table and tells him to focus, as he will not accept failure as an option.

K-Squared VS Eric Blackley

K-Squared is a newer signing to 4C, one that was made with little fanfare compared to others such as Thrill Seeker or Greg Gauge. This may be the reason why K-Squared comes to face the Quebec City fans with utter disinterest and disdain. Eric Blackley however is anxious to prove himself after coming up short in the battle for the Canadian Championship. He looks to get his momentum back as this contest gets underway.

At first, Blackley offers a tie-up to K-Squared, which he accepts, but after two exchanges where Blackley got the better of him, Squared gives up and kicks him square in the gut. A hard irish whip leads to Squared dropping Blackley with a clothesline. Squared then looks to gain any advantage he can, stomping on Blackley and backing him into a corner before facewashing him with his boot. K-Squared brings Blackley to his feet and looks to hit a running bulldog, but Blackley pushes him off and follows up with a running knee strike. A headscissors takedown brings K-Squared to the mat, and a standing moonsault onto Squared's back nets Blackley a two count.

Blackley is beginning to get fired up, but a thumb to the eye while the ref wasn't looking gives K-Squared an opportunity. He hits Blackley with a backbreaker-inverted Russian leg sweep combo that has Blackley reeling. He goes for the cover, but somehow Blackley kicks out. K-Squared is furious and admonishes the ref for a slow count, while Blackley begins to rise to his feet behind him. K-Squared turns around and wham! Blackley stuns him with a superkick, followed by a leaping crossbody. Blackley then begins to climb the turnbuckle, signalling for the end, and hits K-Squared with the Flying Vertical Splash for the pinfall victory!

Thrill Seeker is seen walking backstage when he happens to pass by Greg Gauge, who is seemingly waiting for him.

"Whoa, hold up there pal. I just wanted to wish you luck tonight, seeing as how I'm walking into our match as a two time winner of the Rip Chord Invitational! That's right, for the second year in a row, I have-"

Thrill Seeker cuts him off abruptly. "Look, that's real nice kid, good for you. But I don't need luck. I dunno if your little tournament victory has made you forget, but I beat you last month, one two three."

"If that wasn't luck then I don't know what you'd call it. And tonight it's two out of three falls, so if you get lucky and blindside me again, I'll still be able to come back and show everybody here why I'm the hottest name in pro wrestling today. Gregory Gauge. Remember that name, because you'll be seeing it in lights soon enough." He walks off and Thrill Seeker stays behind looking bemused.

Nathaniel Ca$ino VS Remmy Skye

Nathaniel Ca$ino is clearly in a bad mood tonight, and it's not hard to imagine why. Having been the final 4C Hardcore Champion before the division was nixed right around the founding of the ECWA, Ca$ino was entitled to a shot at the Canadian Title in the 4-Way Ladder match at Cage Rage and came up short. Now The Gambler is short on gold and looking to change his luck, this time against 4C newcomer Remmy Skye.

Right off the bat Ca$ino and Skye take off at a break-neck pace, trading arm drags back and forth and leapfrogging over one another, neither man able to gain the advantage at first. A drop toehold by Ca$ino with a follow-up baseball slide to the face breaks the stalemate, and Ca$ino capitalizes with a springboard leg drop for a two count. Skye is able to battle back with a hurricanrana and a corkscrew elbow drop. A textbook standing dropkick sends Ca$ino the the outside to gather himself, but Skye is right behind him with a suicide dive! He throws Nathaniel back in the ring and goes for the pin, but Ca$ino gets the shoulder up.

Skye tries to keep up the offence but Ca$ino interrupts with a mule kick that sends him reeling. Nathaniel takes out Skye with a slingblade and climbs to the top rope, looking to hit the Double Or Nothing diving moonsault to put Remmy away. He takes off and dives down to the mat, but Skye gets his knees up and Ca$ino practically bounces across the ring after the impact. Skye then hops to his feet and clobbers Ca$ino with a shining wizard, then picks him up into the Skye Driver! Remmy goes for the pin and gets the three, securing the victory.

Chris Flynn is backstage as Katie Cameron buffs his 4C Canadian Championship belt on his shoulder. He says that tonight he's going to defend his new title for the first time, and while he has no hard feelings towards Hugh de Aske, he's got no chance of stopping his first ever title reign. He says that when people think back about the 4C Canadian Championship,

they won't think of some goofy wanna-be pirate, they'll think of The Graduate, Chris Flynn.

Thrill Seeker VS Greg Gauge

Greg Gauge has had a big year, having just days ago defeated Marv Statler to win the Rip Chord Invitational Tournament for the second year in a row. That being said, here in 4C he is 0-1, courtesy of Thrill Seeker. Tonight they meet in a re-match, and this time the winner will have to pin or submit their opponent twice to win, giving Greg another opportunity to prove his words correct. Thrill Seeker meets Gauge in the ring and offers a handshake, which is coldly rejected by Gauge. Seeker shrugs it off and the ref calls for the bell to start this contest.

Unlike last month where his plan was to not wrestle Thrill Seeker unless he absolutely has to, Gauge immediately goes to gain the upper hand with a waistlock, grounding Seeker and preventing him from breaking the hold. However, Thrill Seeker deftly reverses the hold and floats over to put a waistlock of his own on Gauge, who after struggling for a moment is tossed through the air with a German suplex. A single leg dropkick has Gauge roll out of the ring to catch his breath, but when Seeker tries to follow him Gauge ambushes him and clocks him with a forearm. Gauge makes the best of this opening by whipping Seeker into the ring steps and into the barricade before rolling him back into the ring, satisfied with his ruse.

Gauge keeps the pressure on with a textbook northern lights suplex which garners a two count. A follow up snapmare with an added dropkick to the back has Seeker wincing with pain, and Gauge begins to formulate a game plan. He pulls Seeker to his feet and hits a nasty neck crank to soften him up for the Proton Lock. He goes to apply the hold but Seeker is able to squirm away and hit Gauge with an enziguri! Gauge falls over into the bottom of the turnbuckle, which sets up Thrill Seeker to charge at him from across the ring and roll into a cannonball! A pinfall attempt is thwarted, and Seeker begins to pull Gauge to his feet, but Greg is able to smack Seeker across the jaw with a left hand blow, to which Seeker responds in kind. Gauge then decides to open hand slap his opponent across the face, which instantly ignites a fire in Thrill Seeker, who beats Gauge in the face multiple times before hitting a fisherman's buster! He goes for the pin and the ref counts the three! Thrill Seeker has taken the first fall!

Gauge pulls himself into his corner as the match resets and looks livid. As the bell rings to start the second phase of the match, he runs across the ring to deliver a spinning heel kick to Thrill Seeker's face! He then straddles his back and locks him in a camel clutch, wrenching on the neck to do as much damage as possible before transitioning into the Proton Lock! Gauge's face is bright red as he fumes and spits at Seeker to give up, pulling away at his face with his hands as he contorts the neck further and further. Seeker begins to try and pull himself across the canvas to reach the ropes, but Gauge has one arm secured... He claws and clutches at Gauge's fingers locked under his chin, before reaching out and... He touches the ropes! The ref tries to break the hold but a furious Gage holds it almost until the five count. Enraged, he begins to take apart the turnbuckle cover in one corner, ripping off the padding to expose the bare metal buckle underneath. Thrill Seeker slowly rises to his feet and is met with Gauge lifting him up and dropping him face first into the exposed turnbuckle with snake eyes! Seeker writhes in pain on the mat as Gauge goes for the pin... But still can only get two! Gauge is distraught, he can't figure out what he has to do to pin this man. He decides to go for a suplex, but Thrill Seeker is able to land on his feet and counter with a neckbreaker!

Seeker is in a dangerous spot but has bought himself some space. He brings Gauge to his feet and hits him with three furious knife-edge chops to the chest, backing him into the exposed turnbuckle. Seeker then turns back and runs towards his foe, jumping into a hesitation dropkick to the face! Gauge falls to the mat and Seeker hoists himself up to the top rope. The crowd builds in anticipation as Seeker signals for the Daredevil Drop! He has liftoff and comes crashing down onto Gauge right in the center of the ring! He goes for the pinfall, one, two... three! Thrill Seeker defeats Greg Gauge in an astonishing sweep, two falls to none! Thrill Seeker celebrates up the ramp gingerly, as the win had come at quite a cost courtesy of MAW's surly star prospect.

Backstage the Nest of Vipers is standing silently, their leader Mimic glaring down the barrel of the camera as he begins to speak.

"Let nobody say that I am not an honest man. Too Hot, I gave you and your ilk ample warning. I told you that you would succumb to the Venom were you not careful, and yet, you persist... If fact, you go so far and to prove so meddlesome that you managed to cost me the ACPW Jr. Heavyweight Title at ACPW Salvation... This maleficence shall not soon be forgotten. Mark my words, 4C, you transgressions will be paid back a thousand times over. You have disturbed the Nest, and we are your reward. Tonight, you and your friends will each succumb to the Venom, and there is nothing you can do to stop it."

Chris Flynn VS Hugh de Aske

Many who saw the 4-Way Canadian Championship Ladder Match at 4C Cage Rage would agree that Hugh de Aske was the most exciting performer in the bout, even if Chris Flynn would walk away with the belt in the end. Can he summon that energy tonight and bring a swift end to The Graduate's inaugural reign? The ref holds the belt aloft and the competitors square off as this match gets underway.

Flynn and de Aske start out with a test of strength. Flynn is the more powerful of the two, but de Aske has better maneuverability and technical prowess, and so every hold Flynn sets up he is able to free himself from. An atomic drop on Flynn has de Aske take the lead, but Flynn is quick to answer back with a sidewalk slam. A pumphandle slam and an elbow drop gets a two count on de Aske, who is beginning to let the match slip away from him. Eventually he is able to clear space with a Peg Leg dropkick, which sends Flynn to the outside. de Aske sizes up the opportunity and gets a running start for a topé con hilo! He rolls Flynn back in the ring but can't capitalize with a three count.

Flynn is eager to get the match back in his favor and is able to do so by leveling de Aske with a huge lariat. A follow up crossface hold nearly has de Aske tap, but he is able to slip his foot under the bottom rope. Flynn has the match running at his pace now and hits de Aske with a devastating running power bomb, but again he is able to kick out at the critical moment. He rises to his feet and desperately fights back with forearm after forearm before finally landing a DDT on Flynn for a two count of his own. de Aske hasn't got much left in the tank at this point and has to work towards ending this match, so he looks to set up the Cut Throat Driver, but Flynn is able to counter! He delivers a nasty backbreaker to de Aske, followed up by a running senton. Flynn roars as he descends upon his opponent and applies the Flynn-Lock! de Aske struggles for a few seconds before giving the quick tapout, securing the win for the champ!

"Wow, what a match! Congratulations to Chris Flynn on the title defence, but Ted, I'm just getting word from 4C Comissioner Troy Winner about events taking place earlier tonight. We understand that Jesse Gilbert wishes to state that no compromise can be reached between he and his brother Joe, and they've both decided that there is only room in 4C for one Gilbert brother. So next month, at Final Fight, their rivalry will be settled once and for all in a Loser Leaves 4C Match! Ted, can you believe how far this fight has gone between these two?"

"I can't Lee, I feel like it was just yesterday that they were one of 4C's most beloved tag teams. But sometimes there's no other option to settle your differences, and brother, these brothers have some DIFFERENCES."

"Well put Ted, we look forward to that match next month as we return to the ring for more 4C action!"

Too Hot and Thunder & Lightning VS The Nest of Vipers

Tensions between 4C and ACPW have been boiling over with the explosive rivalry between Too Hot and Mimic. Assuredly everybody in the 4C locker room is watching this match intently, as the pride of not just the men in the ring but the companies they represent is on the line tonight. Too Hot and Thunder & Lightning enter to a hero's welcome, while Mimic and his Nest of Vipers slinks to the ring, leering and glaring at the audience. Too Hot starts off for the 4C side and is fired up and ready, expecting Mimic to come out and meet him, but instead Mimic slowly drifts to the sidelines and sends out Dagger to start off this match.

Too Hot comes bursting out of the gate with ferocity, nearly taking off Dagger's head with a running dropkick. From then on every time Dagger gets to his feet he is tossed with ease back down to the canvas, as Too Hot gestures for Mimic to get in the ring and fight him. Dagger uses Too Hot's anger as an opportunity to chop block him in the knee, taking him down to the mat in a heap. Dagger then unleashes stomp after stomp on Too Hot, before hitting a snap suplex, going for the pin but only getting two. Dagger's offense is brought to a swift halt though, as Too Hot breaks out of a possible throw with a jawbreaker, which he followed up with a tornado DDT, which sent Dagger careening across the ring. Before Too Hot can continue, however, Dagger reaches for the tag, and for a second Too Hot thinks he's finally going to get his hands on Mimic, but the tag goes to Katoh Freak instead. Incensed, Too Hot decides to tag in Lightning Lomas instead.

Katoh Freak probably had a grand plan in mind to take on Too Hot, but instead as he entered the ring he's met with a running lariat courtesy of Lightning Lomas. A springboard cutter lands Katoh Freak flat on his back, and for a moment it looks like it might even get the pin but Katoh manages to get a shoulder up. Lomas tags in Jason Thunder and the two go to work on Katoh Freak, first with a double team suplex followed by a second rope frogsplash from Thunder, which might have gotten the three count but Mimic charged the ring and broke up the pin with a kick. Too Hot hops the ropes and goes right for Mimic, but Mimic runs back to his corner and the ref prevents Too Hot from attacking him as he tries to get all the illegal men out of the ring. Too Hot dutifully goes back to his corner, but not before Katoh Freak is able to sneak over and tag Mimic in.

Mimic breaks into a sprint and elbows Too Hot in the back of the head just as he climbed onto the apron, sending him falling to the floor. Thunder tries to grab Mimic but he's able to escape and hit a springboard elbow to Thunder's jaw. Mimic doesn't give him a second to rest as he's immediately on him with vicious stomps to the back and head. He pulls Thunder to his feet and hits a standing Spanish fly to the crowd's amazement, but the pinfall is broken up by Lomas as he dives to make the save! Within seconds Dagger and Katoh Freak are upon him, Irish whipping him into the ropes and following close behind to clothesline him to the outside, landing right next to a stirring Too Hot. Dagger and Katoh both get a running start as katoh dives through the ropes for a suicide dive on Too Hot while Lomas is flattened by a plancha from Dagger. Now only Mimic and Jason Thunder remain in the ring, and Mimic gets to his feet first. He quickly drags Thunder to his feet and lifts him up into a massive elevated DDT! The Screwdriver! He goes for the cover! One, two... Two and a half! Jason Thunder kicks out and Mimic can't believe it!

Mimic is fuming and wants to put this match to an end. As he lifts Thunder to his feet, he notices Too Hot has managed to climb back up to his corner. He laughs at his mortal enemy as he lifts Thunder up in a delayed vertical suplex to taunt him... But Thunder knees Mimic in the face and reverses it! Mimic is stunned and Thunder hits him with a super kick as a last ditch measure, collapsing to the ground as Too Hot reaches out desperately to make the tag. Thunder slowly drags himself closer and closer to the corner, until finally... Tag made! Too Hot storms the ring and seizes upon Mimic, battering him with furious punches and forcing him into his corner, where Dagger has begun to climb back up. Too Hot goes to hit Mimic with a Tornado DDT to set him up for the Heat Seeking Missile, but just as he hits the corner Dagger slaps Mimics back and the ref sees the tag. The DDT hits and Mimic's skull is driven into the mat, but Too Hot goes for the pin not realizing that Mimic is no longer the legal man. The ref tries to tell him this but Dagger comes out of nowhere with a penalty kick to the face of Too Hot. Mimic slumps to the outside of the ring and Dagger looks to put away Too Hot for good, setting him up on his knees for a running knee strike. Too Hot sees it coming however, and manages to duck and counter with a huricanrana! A dazed Dagger is thrown across the ring as Too Hot scrambles to the top rope, awaiting Dagger to rise before nailing the Heat Seaking Missile! He goes for the cover and gets the clean three, but as he rises to his feet to find Mimic he sees that his nemesis has already fled into the crowd, nursing his wounds and seething with rage.

Too Hot, Jason Thunder & Lightning Lomas def. The Nest Of Vipers via pinfall. (D)

Frankie Dee VS Sayeed Ali

Sayeed Ali arrives to the ring looking ready for a fight, stomping to the ring looking as mean as possible, while Rajah follows close behind, talking trash to fans at ringside. Frankie Dee, conversely, enters the arena solemnly, holding the title high and staring directly at his aggressors, forcing them to acknowledge that yes, he is still the champ. The two face off in the center of the ring as the 4C Championship match gets underway.

Ali comes out of the gate swinging with harsh strikes and jabs, but Dee is able to knock him off balance with a roundhouse kick to the side of the head. Ali is quick to recover though, and takes control with a lariat followed by a gutwrench suplex. Dee is slow to get up so Ali makes him pay for it with a kick to the ribs. He pulls Frankie to his feet and forces him into the corner with a choke, but the ref forces him to break it. Instead he smashes his forearm into Dee's face and then grinds his wrist bone across it, to horrific effect. Ali keeps at it with a couple of knees to the midsection before deciding to do some serious damage. He hoists Frankie up to a seated position on the top rope and looks to deliver a superplex! He tries to pull it off but Frankie's not budging, and with a few strikes to Ali's forehead sends him crashing down to the mat. The fans begin to tense up as a battered Dee stands tall on the turnbuckle and launches himself off into a diving senton! He doesn't hit all of Sayeed, but he makes a decent enough impact to warrant making the cover. The ref makes the count and Ali gets his shoulder up after two.

Frankie Dee sets about making up for lost time. He hits Ali with two shattering kicks to the chest, the second flooring him instantly. Dee gets fired up and looks to hit the Shinanju Kick, but Ali manages to dodge it and whip Dee into the ropes. He catches him with a vicious spinebuster upon return and goes for the pin, but Dee kicks out after just one. Ali begins to get frustrated and again starts to batter Dee with strikes, but Frankie blocks one of the blows and fights back with sharp strikes of his own to the midsection before nailing a bicycle kick to the face, sending Ali down to the mat. Ali gets up but Dee is on him with a duo of arm drags before he goes for the Shinanju Kick once again and... he hits it! Ali is knocked senseless as Dee goes for the pin, the ref counts one, then two, when suddenly...

vOzcQJq.jpg

Rajah finally steps in and grabs onto the referee's foot, dragging him to the apron and breaking the count. Dee is furious and ref Andy Gordy admonishes Rajah, but while he's not looking Ali hit Frankie with a low blow and a nasty T-bone suplex. When the ref turns back around Ali is already on top of Dee raining down stiff right hands before once again choking him as long as the rules will allow. When the ref finally pulls him off he gets a death glare from Sayeed, who turns and nods to Rajah at ringside. He drags Dee's limp body to it's feet and whips him hard, intentionally sending Frankie right into Gordy and sandwiching him into the turnbuckle. Gordy is knocked out cold by the impact and Rajah then slides into the ring holding a steel chair. He and Ali gleefully set up Dee to be pulverized by a smashing chair shot, but at the very last second... Frankie ducks and drops to the mat, causing Rajah to blast Ali in the face full force with the chair! Ali is flattened and Rajah looks utterly stunned. Before he can even catch his bearings, Shinanju Kick! Rajah is floored, while an exhausted Frankie collapses on top of Ali. Ref Gordy begins to stir and drags himself over to make the three count. Frankie Dee staggers to his feet and is handed his 4C Championship belt, which he promptly holds tight to his chest and rolls out of the ring. He walks up the ramp with a slight grin as he holds his belt aloft, while Rajah and Ali begin to come to. Ali sits straight up and processes what just happened, getting angrier by the second. Finally he jumps to his feet and starts shoving Rajah, shouting in his face while he feebly tries to explain how he ended up costing Ali the title.

Frankie Dee def. Sayeed Ali via pinfall. (D)

So that does it for X-Factor! Thanks to BHK1978 and MisterRomanini for their predictions and to CMPunkBubble and TexasRangers13 for their votes for DOTM, I was blown away that anybody would vote for me at all! For predictions, BHK1978 and MisterRomanini both got 5 out of 8 correct, both picking Greg Gauge and K-Squared to win their matches, but both got the main event and Canadian Title correct! Overall this show was a bit of a disappointment in stats compared to the last two, but I'm enjoying how these stories are coming together. Thrill Seeker stole the show yet again and Mimic had a great performance. The crowd did not enjoy Katoh Freak at all, so that's an issue. Anyways, I'll have the card for ACPW's Damaged up soon, as well as a special announcement that I hope will excite those who are reading. As always I'd love to hear any feedback, and thanks for bearing with my mountains of text!
