ESC Blastoff II Results

ESC Blastoff II

With a preview already done in a separate post there aint much left to say apart from lets get this big fat juicy card started baby!

Results

Main Event

Cullen Skink (#1) vs Scott Runnels (#5)

Lightweight Title

The main event for the show will see a rather sought after Skink up against Runnels who has been rather impressive as of late winning his last 3 fights in a row which earned him this title shot, regardless of this he will have to be on top of his game to stand any chance of taking Skink down.

Cullen Skink Wins [TKO (Strikes)]

---------------------------------------------------------

Co-Main Event

Erik Cunniford (#1) vs Daniel Brown (#4)

Middleweight Title

Our second title fight has Cunniford also make his first defence against 'The Lion' Brown who comes into this 2-0 and still rather unknown with both his wins against fighters regarded outside the top 5, so this instantly puts him as big underdog, but could we see Brown's true ability? or will Cunniford do whats expected and run through him.

Daniel Brown Wins [TKO (Punch)]

Fight of The Night

Knockout of The Night

---------------------------------------------------------

Frank White (#8) vs Martin Moore (#6)

White comes into this off the back of his first victory which shocked everyone, can he make it 2 in a row? well if so hes against a rather unstable Moore who we have saw beaten off the now Heavyweight champ McBeam but also secure a win of his own, its all going to depend on who wants that W more.

Martin Moore Wins [TKO (Cut)]

---------------------------------------------------------

Chris Boyle vs Jacqueleen Lefebvre

This fight has 2 new Heavyweights debuting, a very promising European prospect in Lefebvre and a highly popular american Boyle who was convinced to more across the pond to the UK by the company and he will make his UK debut as he currently sits on 4-0, this should be a very close fight and regardless of the winner im sure both of these guys will secure some big wins in the Heavyweight division here at ESC.

Chris Boyle Wins [split Decision]

---------------------------------------------------------

Joze Marek vs Simon Youngman (#13)

Another debut in Marek is up against the Heavyweights favourite can, Youngman who we are expecting more of the same here. This shouldn't be too difficulty of a debut for Marek who looks very dangerous on paper.

Joze Marek Wins [split Decision]

---------------------------------------------------------

Show Overall

Bantamweight Quarter Finals Results (Prelims)

<img alt="7gen0" data-src="https://imgur.com/a/7gen0" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Wouild of gone into more detail with this but with Bantamweights hard to find and 80% of our 16 recruited where randomly generated i will wait until the semi-finals before going into more depth, one fantastic fight here, my first so far... i know i know spoilers godamit!

ESC 11: Gomolov vs McBeam

ESC 11: Gomolov vs McBeam

After having Dali poached by ALPHA-1 we now have our vacated Heavyweight title back up for grabs with McBeam and Gomolov our fighters with a chance to be crowned our new champion, we also have our second set of 4 matches on the prelims for our last 16 tournament in the Bantamweight tournament.

Last 16 Bantamweight Open

<img alt="opp3t" data-src="https://imgur.com/a/opp3t" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Like i stated with the first batch of matches ill wait until semi-finals or so before i cover these matches as all fighters are unknown and it gives us time to flesh out the good from the bad, it is easy to mention the 2 fantastic rated matches from 4, very exciting indeed.

Main Card

Lloyd Monson (#13) vs Charles Sapp

The opening match of the main card has us match Lloyd Monson (0-2) up against our new debuting Sapp, the idea was to give Sapp some nice starting momentum on his debut with an easy win against a rather poor Monson but its safe to say not everything goes to plan.

Lloyd Monson Wins [unanimous Decision 30-27 x3]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gennady Loptain (#7) vs Henry Hooper (#13)

Both come into this on 2-1 records, Hooper is looking to push back into the title scene after he was involved in the first ever title match but lost out to Dali, and we have Lopatin who is 1 or 2 wins away from securing his own title shot.

Gennady Lopatin Wins [split Decision [28-29/29-28/29-28]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Co-Main Event

Roland Bristow (#4) vs Glenn Paris (#3)

Paris comes into this making his ESC debut, already a fairly big name in the UK he is matched up against a very tough Bristow who stand at 3-1 suffering his only loss to Cunniford in there championship match, this will be a real statement for each fighter here if they grab a convincing win.

Roland Bristow Wins [unanimous Decision 29-28 x3]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Main Event

Heavyweight Title

Glen McBeam (#1) vs Dmitry Gomolov (#2)

With the belt vacated both guys have a huge chance here to put there stamp on the division, McBeam (Kickboxing) and Gomolov (Wrestling) already have scored some nice wins each so far so for them to be fighting here for the belt is not only well deserved but of course a huge chance for them both.

Glen McBeam Wins [unanimous Decision 49-46/49-45/49-45]

Fight of The Night

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Esc 12

ESC 12

Our 12th card has a few big fights on it, the main event and biggest talking point being Ray and Day who will fight for a chance to face Skink for the Lightweight title, interesting because they both also called out Skink so both will be raring to demolish each other and get a shot at gold. Another HUGE talking point is our new broadcaster, Euro Cable Sports that will generate us a massive amount of ad money and with that sort of finances backing us we can 100% expand our roster with very skillful fighters, so all round the broadcast deal will be a big win for the company going forward.

Prelims

<img alt="fYEbSm9.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/fYEbSm9.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Main Card

Vlasta Nykl (#8) vs Moray McWhirter (#11)

Nykl comes into this off the back of securing his first win here in ESC after 2 previous losses, Moray in the other hand is 1-2 with all 3 of his fights coming against top 5 Heavyweight competitors so both have big points to prove, Nykl to try show he can push into top 5 where as Moray will want to secure another win against someone who is regarded the worst he has been matched up with in all his fights so far.

Moray McWhirter Wins [submission (Rear Naked Choke)]

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jouke Van Rijn (#5) vs Adam Liddell (#7)

Van Rijn has his second fight here after a rather unconvincing win over Gumble on his debut, Liddell is having his 5th fight here already in ESC which is very impressive in its own right, both are ranked outside the top 5 so another big chance for both to get one eye on a title shot.

Jouke Van Rijn Wins [unanimous Decision 29-28/30-27/29-28]

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Earl Wilson (#8) vs Victor Griffin (#10)

Griffin makes his return here after losing the first ever Lightweight title match to Skink way back at ESC 7, he is matched up with Earl Wilson who looks to keep the ball rolling after his debut win against Alan Stiller.

Victor Griffin Wins [TKO (Strikes)]

Knock Out of The Night

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Joshua Campbell (#9) vs Zhorah Sidirov (#4)

Joshua Campbell has a big chance to impress here against a top 5 contender especially since he has had a rather slow start with his ESC career, Zhorah Sidirov on the other hand has hit the ground running with a first round knock out on his first fight that catapulted him straight into the top 5.

Zhorah Sidirov Wins [unanimous Decision [29-28/30-27/29-28]

Fight of The Night

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Co-Main Event

Brian Eastman (#8) vs Kurt Price (#4)

Both of these guys shoot right into a Co-main Event spot having only both fought once each here at ESC, but with 2 very impressive debuts it will be interesting to see who can come out on top and put some more spotlight on themselves in a rather larger Middleweight roster.

Brian Eastman Wins [Knock Out (Punch)]

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Main Event

Tommy Race (#2) vs Mako Day (#3)

Both competitors here are raring to get at each others throat especially with the winner all but guaranteeing a match against "King of The Lightweights" Cullen Skink, especially as both have also called Skink out in there last wins, this will mean slightly more to Day as he previously lost to Skink so a second chance to not only beat him but take the belt will be very appealing.

Mako Day Wins [submission (Omoplata)]

Submission of The Night

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hopefully you guys are enjoying these recaps as well as the live streams, ive been slacking a little with these write ups compared to the streams as im around 8-10 shows behind on these so ill try and get a few more fired out in the coming days, peace for now.

Esc 13

Since im around 10+ shows behind on the write ups ill start doing these a little less detailed to try smash out some and catch up a bit, any feedback would be awesome, enjoy.

ESC 13

rg6eSHn.jpg

After announcing our new broadcast deal last card we made upwards of 100,000+ that catapults us into huge gains and will really help adding new talented fighters as well as the push for Mid Level Regional, we once again booked Euro Sports Cable for the second show running. As for the card we have no prelims and 8 main card fights rather than the split of 6 and 2 that we got so use to using, no title fights this card with many fights set up as top 10 pushes with the top 2 matches big shots at #1 contender for there respective weight classes. A very Heavyweight based card also.

UrcbKkH.png

Fight of The Night / Submission of The Night

Christian Green vs Jerry Clark was hands down the best fight on the card, 1 or 2 came close behind but Green stole the show here, it stayed fairly even at around 60/40 in favour of Green but after Clark shot a successful take down it was a quick regret as he got reversed on the ground and tapped out from his own take down, big win and performance for Green.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Knock Out of The Night

Tyrone Lawler once again shows us his serious striking power to grab a second win here at ESC albeit over Jerry "The Can" Gumble but nonetheless its a good finish for Lawler and will be interesting to see how he matches up with the division now he smashes into the top 10.... literally.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Honourable Mentions

Main Event - Paris finally grabs his first win after a debut loss, this is more benefiting us as he is already a High Level Regional name here in the UK so if we book him smartly and keep him strong and it will be a good for all involved.

Co-Main Event - Bensson the beast grabs a 3rd win here to go 3-1 and most likely shoot into top 5, he looks like a very promising title contender and looks to be improving after every fight which makes me scared... for the others of course!

Henry Hooper - Bounces back after 2 straight defeats with a gruelling 3 round with Marek, after his first loss against Dali back at the first title match he looked like he would never bounce back so im happy he grabbed a UD victory, he will never probably be able to secure top 5 in Heavyweight but given he is a day 1 fighter i have a soft spot for him.

Jacqueleen Lefebvre - After losing by SD on his debut i wasnt really expecting much from "Lefe" but a surprising first round TKO has been wondering is he can keep the knockouts coming.

ESC 14: Bristow vs Benes

ESC 14: Bristow vs Benes

rg6eSHn.jpg

ESC 14 brings us a surprising (almost last minute) title fight as we recently got word after last show our Middleweight champion Daniel Brown who recently only just won the belt on our big Blastoff II card has been poached by ALPHA- and sadly for us it came a few weeks before we hit a big broadcasting deal so there was nothing we could do to rival the bid, but luckily for us we had Bristow and Benes on standby... two fighters more and worthy of a title shot and luckily for them its the upcoming card!

As for our new broadcasting deal we used our new found fortune to sign some really talented fighters like i mentioned before and that come into effect on this card as a few made very scary debuts.

As for the actual fight card we stuck with 8 main show cards again for the second show running but we will return to the 6-2 format again very soon and most likely stick with it.

ust24wC.png

Fight of The Night / Knock Out of The Night

Both of these go to our Main Event match and oh boy it didn't disappoint, Bristow took full advantage of his second pop at the Middleweight title by smashing Benes in just over 2 minutes, really impressive from Bristow who goes 5-1 and he looks prime to stay #1 unless the "new guys" cause him big trouble... or Cunniford works his way back up the ranks.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Submission of The Night

Craig Hulme wins this after an impressive debut, i wont comment on this much because straight after BCF offered him an exclusive deal and i decided i wouldn't fight for him because at the moment he would more or less run through everybody, we will most likely see 2-3 others share the same fate but thats my fault after getting overexcited i could say anyway *insert awkward laugh here*

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Honourable Mentions

Co-Main Event - Runnels and Griffin got the chance to co-main this show, they are known rather well here having 9 fights between them, sadly it was a second loss for Griffin and a nice W for Runnels after losing his title shot to "King of pretty much everything" Cullen Skink, shame it was UD decision but it will move Runnels back into top 10 and maybe this is the start of another winning streak.

Eddie Crockett - A second round submission win for big Eddie gave him his first win after suffering a debut loss to a very tough Ed Bensson, Crockett will unlikely become a name that will leave our lips much during his stay here as he isnt looking up to much to rave about but ill give his moment in the spotlight here after a rather exciting match and nice finish, good job big Ed.

Xavi Castillejo - One of 3 debuts tonight and get used to me saying that because we signed ALOT of exciting, skillful and just down right awesome fighters! now balancing will needed to be done because as shown on this fight Xavi could of had his hands tied behind his back and blindfolded and he would of still won, so like i said many solid fighters to debut in next few cards but will they all stay? probably not as i want to try keep somewhat of a balance for every weight class, a few supreme fighters are OK but i want balance nonetheless.

ESC 15: England vs World

ESC 15: England vs World

<img alt="rg6eSHn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rg6eSHn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

To celebrate our 15th show i decided to do it a little different and have some of our best English fighters face off against, well... the rest, we also have a few new faces in action for the first time including Stephen Conti, Buidman Lie, Jazz Snide and Takauija Aida, all who look very promising, the card also features some more of our Bantamweight Open Quarter Final matches.

Prelims

<img alt="O4BRkRL.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/O4BRkRL.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Only the one prelim match but it did end in a Fantastic rating which was pretty surprising, this marks Sapp's first win after losing on his debut, pretty much the perfect bounceback... as for Brooks he was cut from the roster afterwards for falling down to 0-3, i know how nasty of me.

Main Card

<img alt="s45OIKW.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/s45OIKW.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Knock Out of The Night

This award goes in favour of our only prelim match and it was well deserved indeed, a complete war with Brooks arguably close to a decision win but Sapp had other ideas and finished it off with a wicked uppercut to knock Brooks out stiff and send him back to the local shows.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Submission of The Night

This goes to one of our Bantamweight Open competitors Larry Race, who looks really confident and relaxed here working Criss on the ground amazingly before eventually making him tap with his first submission attempt to send him into the Semi-Finals.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fight of The Night

Our new bad boy from Tokyo, Japan showed real class here really dominating throughout this match and after breaking a few fingers in the first round punching his opponent so hard he ended up taking him down and tapping him out with an arm bar showing he can be deadly no matter the situation, hopefully he recovers quickly as he will be a real star in our bantamweight class.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Honourable Mentions

Co-Main Event - Our newly signed highly rated Middleweight got a real shock here losing in the first round due to a cut stoppage giving the win to a rather average Monson, huge upset and shocker here as Lie will want to bounce back quick, as for Monson he is now 2-2 with 2 back to back wins so the sky is the limit for him... i guess... sorta.... until next match i suppose.

Jazz Snide - Another real bad boy who loves to talk smack and take names much like Aida, only difference is Snide is the Lightweight version, almost like Skink 2.0 and he showed why here storming through Halliwell until he just couldn't take anymore punishment, another signing who i am very excited about.

Stephen Conti - Our second Bantamweight signing on this card Conti, he arguably looks more promising then Aida, albeit maybe not as fun with the trash talking and such but at only 21 and a record of 7-0, he showed why he is a huge threat by smashing Kral in little over one minute.... our Bantamweight is looking solid at the moment, exciting new fighters already and we still have our Open in progress to determine the first champion.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

ESC 16: Skink vs Day II

ESC 16: Skink vs Day II

<img alt="rg6eSHn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rg6eSHn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Pretty big card here with 8 main card fights and 0 prelims, we have many of our original roster competing with only 1-2 newly debuting fighters which is a little uncommon given the time frame and the simple fact we did just add 10-15 new fighters to our ranks. We have the likes of Lawler, Sidorov, Cunniford, Hooper and Crockett as well as a few more all on this card as well as the obvious Sknik vs Day which has been building up for a while and should be a very exciting one especially after Day called Skink out hungry for a rematch to write his wrongs from there fight way back at ESC 2.

Main Card

<img alt="GxGvLkh.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GxGvLkh.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Fight of The Night / Knock Out of The Night

SKINK! Im falling in love with him more and more after every fight, shoots some huge punches and always puts on exciting fights and he showed why here again going 2-0 up against Day who worked really hard and was impressive on his crawl back up for a rematch as he did go 3-0 after his loss to Skink but at the end of it Skink was just way too much for him to handle, defence number 2 for Skink also.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Submission of The Night

Lawler puts on an impressive showing here to grab yet another win, his only loss so far has came at the hands of Mako Day but apart from that he is looking really solid and picks up a submission of the night which is more against his style, just shows he can win no matter the situation.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Honourable Mentions

Co-Main Event - After Cunniford lost his belt to Brown back at our 10th show and to then leave for ALPHA-1 pretty much after it would of been very unlucky for him and sadly the misery got heaped on here as Crockett beat him in just over 1 minute to shoot up the rankings and score a huge win against a former champion, as for Cunniford the first ever Middleweight champ has a huge hole to try get himself out of.

Zhorah Sidirov - Runnels gets the pressure piled on here after he lost his title chance last time out and Sidirov makes it even worse for him here knocking him out cold and to push him up to an impressive 3-0 so far.

Chris Boyle - The American wins on his debut here looking like a rather promising fighter, rather exciting to watch over as he is someone who likes to throw alot of punches in bunches and tries to score some big strikes, i like him alot already.
