GDS games in new $1 bundle

Recommended Posts

Good god, how embarrassing that these great titles got packed alongside these games that I assume are complete and utter sh/t. Are they from the same publisher? How else is it going to be divided equally?

However, it's not illogical to assume it might lure several people to come here and play the successors. Selling Wrespi3 for a couple of cents doesn't make sense, though.

And they're all 5+ years old too. It's not like anyone should really be buying these games over the newer ones anyway. Even the best 3 in the bundle (TEW10 and the two Wolverine Studios games) are vastly outdated even with the next version that is also out of date (13 is infinitely better than 10). Using this as a reason to never sell on Steam is just disingenuous. Now, if they were selling any of the new Wolverine Studios games or TEW16 for a $1 or $10, you'd have an argument.

Lol that is kind of funny.

I've bought from them before with zero issues. They used to be Bundle Stars before changing their name to Fanatical because they wanted to be viewed more as a general game store and not just "come here for cheap bundles". They're on Steam too so they're not a fly-by-night company. The one I'm terrified of buying from is GoG who is based in Russia, and yet tons and tons of people seem to do so safely. And there are pre-paid credit cards you can get if you want to be truly safe.

Hardly a random site; they've been around for six years and have direct deals with publishers (unlike dodgy grey market sites like G2A).

For most people, the deal is not that great at all; they're just to add to Steam game counts and increase rank at Steam Gifts.

Poland, actually, and they're owned by CD Projekt - makers of the Witcher series.
