The first step, even before selecting a year or whether to ask for permission to use data, is to decide what sort of Mod you want to make. Simple or as in depth as you can get, basically the smooth road or the rabbit runs. FantasyVerse, having done a fair bit of work on one now, doesn't have nearly as much complexity as real world, it just doesn't. Real life, you need to capture the era, ensure certain things feel right and take the time to check so many other things.

So, from there, it's about research and getting your world right. Doing it right takes months, even if you're just taking one year and modding back to another. You'll live on youtube, on cagematch, on wrestlingdata, on historyofwwe, on kayfabememories, on google, on clawmaster's archives and other sites. Evidently you need promotions, locations, workers and broadcasters first, build your skeleton from that spine and then add the meat to the bones.

What I will say is that at this point, many of the better Mod guys couldn't begin to break it all down. You just know, you have your own routine.

Well, what I was wanting to do was what fleich termed a "frankenmod" where i used all the female characters from various mods (assuming I was able to get permission from the mod creators) and make a totally female centric world as between LondonVerse, ThunderVerse, the default database and real life mods with wwe, nxt, tna, shimmer, etc could make for a very nice sized female only wrestling world. May have to keep some male refs and other non wrestling talent as there aren't a ton of female characters for certain roles. But that is what I would be going for.
