It's cool to see the show ratings creep up week on week, despite the production penalty. X-Pac is a great addition to the roster too. There's definitely a lot you can do with him going forward.

I do have enough money for production upgrades but I am waiting for a tv deal before that. Hopefully, I get one soon.

Week 2, September 1998

- Preshow: William Regal defeated Justin Credible in 8 mins. 66

(Last show, Sabu was given a chance to earn back his #1 contendership in a match against William Regal. But the match ended when Tommy Dreamer accidentally hit Regal while he was attacking Shane and Lance Storm. That meant Tommy Dreamer cost Sabu his #1 contendership for the NXT World Championship.)

- Sabu is in the ring with a mic. Sabu cuts a promo on the last show's incident. He says Tommy is a good friend who he has known for a long time. Tommy might not have meant to do it but he did cost Sabu the #1 contendership. Sabu will deal with Tommy later. Right now, he is here to ask Shane to stop playing games & give him his contractually obligated rematch. Shane comes out with William Regal and Lance Storm. Shane says Sabu did get screwed by Tommy Dreamer last show. So, he will give him another chance. Sabu will face Tommy Dreamer for #1 contendership. Shane says they'll see if Tommy does the right thing and let Sabu get the win. 78

- The Suicide Blondes defeated Mistico & Spike in 10 mins. 73

- Beulah interviews the former NXT Tag Team Champions, The Dudley Boyz. She asks them about their loss last show. They say that they were caught off guard by Lynn and Waltman. They have talked to Shane and will be getting their rematch in the next show. Lynn & Waltman won't get lucky twice. Beulah informs them that D-Von will be facing Sean Waltman. 71

(This is the final match between Hardy Boyz and Jamie Noble/Kaz Hayashi.)

- Jamie Noble & Kaz Hayashi defeated Hardy Boyz in 15 mins. 66

- Post Match- Noble & Hayashi celebrate as they get the final laugh against the Hardy Boyz. 47

- Sean Waltman defeated D-Von in 16 mins. 78

- Yet again, The Dudley Boyz fail to win against Waltman and Lynn. They have their title rematch in the next show. Can they win the titles back? 69

- The Island Boys defeated Crowbar & James Storm in 8 mins. 50

- After the match, The Island Boys cut a promo. They brag about how they beat the Blondes in their 5-match series. They say their next victim will be the NXT Tag Team Champions, whichever team may that be. 75

- Shawn Stasiak gets in the ring. He calls out Al Snow. He says he wants a match against Al to prove that he is ready. Al comes out. He says he won't fight Shawn. He doesn't want to humiliate Shawn. Al leaves the ring as Shawn looks frustrated. Shawn says he will put his NXT career on the line to face Al. Al tells him not to do this. Shawn says if he can't beat Al, he will leave NXT. 62

(Main Event)

- #1 contender: Sabu drew with Tommy Dreamer in 20 mins when Shane, Regal and Lance attacked both of them. 79

- In the beginning of the match, Tommy laid down for Sabu. When Sabu pinned him, Tommy kicked out at the very last moment. Then, both of them went for the win as both of them wanted the NXT World Championship. Shane's plan worked as Sabu and Tommy hit each other with every move they knew. In the end, Shane, Regal & Lance come out and attacked both Sabu and Tommy to end the match in a double DQ. Shane stand tall with Regal and Lance as the show ends. 75

Show Rating - 66 (production penalty)

Notes:

- Next few shows will have less storylines as almost all of our feuds ended or are going to end.

- The Island Boys are good for angles but not much for matches. Exactly opposite to Noble/Hayashi.
