<p>Multiplayer Rules Overview</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>How This Works:</strong></span></p><p>

- This is a "lite" version of multiplayer. The participants listed all create their own shows, handle their own rosters, events, etc... However, the main file is ran by me. We don't "pass" the file around as that seems to be a big friction point in past multiplayer games. By keeping it to one person, we don't risk someone dropping out and ruining the file for all. Hopefully, if successful, it can provide a template of how multiplayer games can work consistently.</p><p>

- We communicate via Slack. I post up shows, the latest file, graphics, etc... all in the Slack channel. This way, if I get hit by a bus, the file can keep rolling</p><p>

- Every company was able to sign 3 workers at game start, and will be able to sign 1 worker per month going forward (details below)</p><p>

- Each company also has a "waiver" list of 5 workers currently on written contracts with other companies. The idea behind this is that it prevents people from "hoarding" workers</p><p>

- We are using Fleisch's excellent May 2018 mod as a base with minor modifications (like adding SEAdLINNG and a couple extra Joshi workers)</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Signings</strong></span></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Initial</strong></p><p>

1) 3 workers will be signed to written contracts</p><p>

2) The worker must be unemployed or on a PPA deal and available in your region</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Future Months</strong></p><p>

1) You can sign 1 worker every month </p><p>

2) Order of signings will be determined by highest rated show in previous month</p><p>

- If 2 people have the same “Max” show rating, the average of their shows in the previous month will be used as a tiebreaker</p><p>

- If both Max and average shows are the same, we will use the ratings from 2 months ago</p><p>

- If all of the above are the same, we will do a random roll to decide</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Flex” Signing</strong></p><p>

1) Every 3 month period you also have 1 “flex” signing that can be used on:</p><p>

- An existing tag team out of your company (see example 1 below)</p><p>

- A worker who is part of an existing tag team with someone already in your company (See example 2 below)</p><p>

- A worker whose written contract comes up in another company (see “Waivers” section)</p><p>

>>> Ex. 1) You could bring in the Tsukasa Fujimoto and Arisa Nakajima as "Best Friends" as a team in the same month</p><p>

>>> Ex. 2) Say you are Sendai Girls', they could use their extra signing on Kagetsu since she is in an existing tag team with Hana Kimura. You could then use your other pick that month</p><p>

2) The 3 month periods for this Dynasty will be:</p><p>

- Jun-Aug</p><p>

- Sep-Nov</p><p>

- Dec-Feb</p><p>

- Mar-May</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Waivers</strong></p><p>

1) After worker signings are complete, we will each have a waiver list of 5 workers who are currently on written deals with other companies (available in your area)</p><p>

2) If a worker's contract comes up, the person with them rated higher on the waiver list will be given priority for the next round of signings</p><p>

3) Workers not on any waiver list who come up for contract renewal, will be offered to owners with highest show first</p><p>

4) If you choose to invoke your waiver claim on a worker, it will use your following month’s signing slot or you can use your "flex" signing</p><p>

5) If a worker is rated the same by 2 or more users, waiver priority will be determined by highest rated show in previous month</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>“Bonus” signings</strong></p><p>

1) Each month after PPV’s, you will choose 3 people as potential signees</p><p>

2) Whatever forum member wins the “pick ‘em” contest for that month can choose a worker from 1 of the company lists to grant that company an extra signing for that month</p><p>

3) Other bonuses will take place throughout the year</p>

There are good wrestlers. There are great wrestlers. And there is Meiko Satomura.</p><p>

One of the best technical wrestlers on the planet with kicks so hard they would make Toshiaki Kawada blush, Meiko has been "on top" of Joshi for a long time.</p><p>

Making her debut for GAEA Japan in 1995, Meiko is one of the true legends of the sport. She has wrestled everywhere from WCW (at age 16) to CHIKARA in her career.</p><p>

She founded Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling with Jinsei Shinzaki in 2006.</p><p>

As head trainer for the rest of the women, she plays an integral part in driving Sendai Girls forward.</p><p> </p><p>

If there ever was a "next big thing" in Sendai Girls', Chihiro Hashimoto is it. An accomplished amateur wrestler, Hashimoto won the Asian Junior Championship in her weight class when she was 18.</p><p>

Hashimoto was trained in the Sendai Girls' dojo under Meiko Satomura, and made her debut in October 2015. She was named the 2016 Rookie of the Year by <em>Tokyo Sports</em>, making her only the second female to win the award.</p><p>

An outstanding techincal wrestler, Hashimoto incorporates her amateur wrestling background well into her matches with suplexes, takedowns, etc...</p><p>

Since her debut, Hashimoto has gone on to hold the Sendai Girls World Championship three times and looks to be "the future" of Sendai.</p><p> </p><p>

The head-banging Cassandra Miyagi used to be known as Michiko Miyagi, your standard young Joshi wrestler. Through forces unbeknownst to us, she was possessed by an evil spirit and became the 10,003 year old entity that is Cassandra Miyagi.</p><p>

One of the best characters in Joshi, she stands out even more in a place like Sendai where the focus is on ring work most of the time.</p><p>

Don't let the gimmick fool you. She may not have the technical ability of Hashimoto or the kicks of Meiko, but Miyagi can go in the ring.</p><p>

With charisma to burn, Miyagi is one of the "go to" workers on the mic for Sendai and looks to have a bright future ahead.</p><p> </p><p>

Part of the first class of Sendai Girls' trainees, DASH Chisako has worked for the Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling promotion since her debut in July 2006.</p><p>

DASH brings an interesting mix of high speed and hardcore wrestling to the Sendai roster.</p><p>

A tag team specialist, DASH worked with her sister Sendai Sachiko for the first 10 years of her career and now regularly teams with KAORU.</p><p>

DASH has racked up an impressive resume of tag titles in her career and won her first singles title in PURE-J last year.</p><p> </p><p>

In 1977 All Japan Women’s Pro Wrestling hired a 20 year old Rossy Ogawa as staff photographer. His experiences from inside the most successful women’s wrestling promotion of all time, his connections in the industry from booking some of the best wrestlers of all time would all come to use when in 2010 he approached recently retired wrestler, model and MMA fighter Fuka Kakimoto and the veteran joshi wrestler Nanae Takahashi with an idea to start a new joshi promotion around one of Fuka’s students - the immensely popular gravure model Yuzuki Aikawa. The potential for cross promotion between wrestling fandom and exposure in mainstream pop culture was so big, it was an opportunity a businessman like Ogawa could not pass up. The concept was simple. The most beautiful young women, drilled to also be the best wrestlers. Always with that eye toward marketing the promotion’s talent on a stage much grander than the sadly insular joshi scene of 2010. World Wonder Ring Stardom was born.</p><p> </p><p>

To an extent, the business plan worked. With Yuzuki Aikawa - affectionately called “Yuzupon” - as the undisputed figurehead of Stardom the company quickly established itself as a force to be reckoned with, and under Fuka and Nanae’s tutelage, Stardom brought up talent like Io Shirai, Kairi Hojo, Mayu Iwatani, Yoko Bito, Act Yasukawa and Yoshiko, poised to take over the day Yuzuki and Nanae wouldn’t be there any more.</p><p> </p><p>

Then disasters struck, one after the other. </p><p> </p><p>

Aikawa declared her retirement, just three years into her career, vacating both the World of Stardom title as well as the Goddesses of Stardom tag team title. Her retirement show was held at Ryōgoku Kokugikan, aka Sumo Hall and according to Stardom records was attended by 5,500 people. Stardom has not booked a show at a venue like that since. </p><p> </p><p>

The same year, Yoko Bito also retired due to back and neck injuries. She would make a comeback in 2016, but retire again in 2017.</p><p> </p><p>

Yuuna Suzuki was recruited in 2013, billed as “the new Yuzupon”, but Suzuki was forced to retire later the same year.</p><p> </p><p>

In 2015 it seemed like things were going in the right direction again. An American branch had been started, with Cheerleader Melissa as the American representative for the company, a web streaming service was started, and Yoshiko defeated Io Shirai for the World of Stardom title. </p><p> </p><p>

Under the surface, things weren’t so good. Battle lines were drawn in the locker room between the students of Nanae Takahashi, harkening back to old school AJW style and training regimes, and the new school of wrestlers, most trained by Fuka. At the front stood Yoshiko, Nanae’s top student, and Act Yasukawa, the unruly founder of Oedo Tai, representing everything that Yoshiko didn’t. More WWE, less AJW. Flair and charisma first, in-ring work second. Yasukawa was popular, cool, and most importantly, driving merch sales. Yoshiko was the champion, but the writing was on the wall. If you knew anything about Rossy Ogawa, you knew Yoshiko had been built up as champion to make someone like Yasukawa look good when Yoshiko was ultimately defeated. </p><p>

In the title match on 22 February 2015 between the champion Yoshiko and the challenger Act Yasukawa all the resentment for Ogawa’s booking direction boiled over in front of 1,050 people who became witness as Yoshiko attacked Yasukawa with shoot punches to the face, fracturing cheek, nasal and orbital bones before the match was stopped and Yasukawa could be rushed to hospital. While she would later return to the ring to wrestle, Yasukawa retired soon after from complications after the injuries she suffered.</p><p> </p><p>

Ogawa, Fuka and Nanae took pay cuts to apologize for the incident that became known as “the Ghastly Match” in Japan. Yoshiko was indefinitely suspended and announced her retirement. Three months after the Ghastly Match, Nanae Takahashi declared she would be leaving Stardom, soon after starting her own promotion, SEAdLINNNG, where Yoshiko later would make her come back.</p><p> </p><p>

In early 2017 Fuka declared her retirement from her roles in the company as ring announcer, general manager and rookie trainer. Out of the founding trio, now only Rossy Ogawa remained.</p><p> </p><p>

When Stardom in April announced a faction shakeup, a draft, many assumed that certain names would be protected and return to the same faction they had always belonged to. When Queen’s Quest was formed in 2016, Io Shirai’s first recruit was Reo Hazuki. When the draft came in 2018, the youngsters AZM and Momo Watanabe were Io’s first picks ahead of her lieutenant Hazuki (in Queen’s Quest stylized “HZK”), and with the first pick in the third round, Oedo Tai leader Kagetsu couldn’t resist causing a bit of trouble by drafting Hazuki. Immediately afterwards, Hazuki made no effort to hide her resentment against Io for allowing her to be drafted by their hated enemies. Now, Hazuki is out to prove to Io and everyone in Queen’s Quest that they made a big mistake.</p><p> </p><p>

After five rounds of drafting, Oedo Tai bowed out. Kagetsu had drafted her tag team partner Hana Kimura, previous member Sumire Natsu, Hazuki, rookie Nao Yamaguchi and to Sumire’s horror, Session Moth Martina. In the sixth round, Queen’s Quest added the absent Viper to their group, and declared that they didn’t want any others. Io suggested that anyone undrafted could join STARS. Queen’s Quest didn’t want them. QQ had drafted AZM, Momo Watanabe, Bea Priestley, Konami, Chardonnay and Viper. For STARS, Mayu Iwatani had drafted Starlight Kid, Saki Kashima, Shiki Shibusawa, Natsumi and Tam Nakano when they got the news that they’d get everybody else - basically Team Jungle (Jungle Kyona, Kaori Yoneyama and Natsuko Tora) plus the rookies Hanan, Ruaka, Leo Onozaki. Kyona and Natsuko in particular were furious at the obvious slight, questioning Mayu Iwatani’s motivations in making the picks she made, suggesting that perhaps STARS were more about good looks than what they could do in the ring. The question now is if Team Jungle will find a place in STARS, or if they will break free and become a faction in their own right. Afterwards, Hiroyo Matsumoto tweeted out her support for her sisters in Team Jungle. </p><p> </p><p>

Stardom revolves around 3 - or 4 - factions: The hard hitting Queen’s Quest on their pursuit of excellence; the heelish pranksters in Oedo Tai that will lie cheat and steal all in the pursuit to have fun; STARS, the babyface embodiment of the company itself - they call themselves defenders of justice, Oedo Tai call them nerdy cheerleaders. Finally there is Team Jungle. They’re passionate, wear their emotions on their sleeves, don’t hide behind mannerisms and pretty faces. They’re honest, and they hit HARD. At this point, they are still considered a part of STARS, although they don't feel very welcome and are not very happy about the situation.</p><p> </p><p>

Trained by Meiko Satomura in Sendai Girls, Kagetsu set out for a career as a freelancer, but the gigs for Stardom became more and more frequent, and when Kyoko Kimura retired and made Kagetsu the new leader for the faction, it was the right time to settle down in a promotion where she has a license to raise hell and nobody to keep her in check. Kagetsu is a prankster at heart, a wily schemer - whose schemes all too often backfire, but at least Oedo Tai is having a good time in the meantime. Kagetsu combines the attributes of an accomplished high flyer and a powerhouse, easily lifting opponents that far outweigh herself.</p><p> </p><p>

Rossy Ogawa has described Mayu Iwatani as at the same time a genius with immense natural talent but also “lazy”. It is also said that around Christmas 2016, she told Stardom management that she planned to retire the following year. But something happened in the following months, because for most of 2017, the “Sky Blue Hyper Technician” was on fire, culminating with capturing first the Wonder of Stardom title off Kairi Hojo and later the World of Stardom title from her nemesis Io Shirai, finally getting revenge for Io’s cruel betrayal a year and a half ago. An unfortunate injury during her title defense against Toni Storm in September made her drop the red belt to Storm and forced her to a lengthy absence from the ring only returning a few months ago, and is now slowly hitting her stride again. As leader of STARS, Mayu proclaimed to draft members to her faction with “a strong sense of justice”. </p><p> </p><p>

First, with Ayako Hamada vacating the title earlier this week due to legal reasons, Sendai Girls' will be hosting a tournament to crown a new World Champion. Every former Sendai Girls' World Champion (save for Hamada) will be in the tournament. This means Meiko Satomura, Chihiro Hashimoto, Hiroyo Matsumoto, and Aja Kong will all be competing to regain their former title. This is the fourth year the Cinderella tournament is held. Previous years it has been won by Mayu Iwatani (twice) and last year by Toni Storm. The prize for winning the tournament is "a wish for anything you want." So far, it has always been a title shot at the World of Stardom championship. The tournament will be held over three events, culminating with the Cinderella tournament finals Monday week 2 of May.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Rules:</strong> The tournament is a single elimination knockout tournament with 16 participants. Matches can be won through pinfall, submission, count out or over the top rope elimination. First round matches have a 10 minute time limit, later rounds have longer time limits. </p><p> </p><p>
