Zelina Vega revealed that 17yo Simone Johnson the Rocks daughter has been training at the Performance Centre - she is probably someone that could be added as a future debut worker for people playing longterm

Suggestion for someone to add - Angie Vincent who was the Rocky Mountain Pro Womens champ as Unholy Trinity and has also wrestled as Angel Trinity. She's one of those people who has an interesting backstory and adds diversity. Also she has that Daffney goth thing going which makes for an interesting pic.

Here's the thing I've been saying a lot to people when it comes to popularity. This mod used Derek B's mod making guide, and then people say the popularity outside of WWE is inaccurate. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/confused.png.d4a8e6b6eab0c67698b911fb041c0ed1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I'm posting to try and help, not to have a go at anyone in particular but saw the Omega thing and thought I'd try and explain (I have a bit of an issue with my posts sometimes coming off like I'm being an "asshole" but tend not to mean them to. This may be one of those times so sorry if it does come across like that!)

No one outside of WWE, no matter how much of a fan you are, is going to go straight into WWE at the Upper Midcard/Main Event scene (AJ Styles was maybe an exception) - not even Kenny Omega. Setting him at a 70 is (IMO) game breaking and throws the whole balance off.

I'm not saying popularity is completely accurate on this mod, Omega does need a popularity boost because I just didn't get around to it (Young Bucks too, maybe 1000 others) but to contemplate putting Omega at 70, destroys the mod just so people can have "an easy time booking him in WWE". Booking WWE should not be easy. It should be a mix of fun & difficulty to make it all the more rewarding when you finally do make that next big star. I've never understood why people can't play long term games with real life mods, because I had one game going on 2013 with the data this one is built from for 10 years (in game time). It was difficult, but how happy I was when I finally made someone into a star was worth it. i don't know if it is society in general these days, but everyone wants everything in an instant. It should not be easy to book any wrestling promotion in today's climate, the wrestling world in general is still doing less numbers in the United States in terms of Attendance/TV/PPV than most other era's.

Of course, that is just my suggestion based off of what I followed in terms of the guide, maybe I misinterpreted it. These were (at the time) what I tried to base each wrestler on when building the mod initially.

The most important thing is to avoid confusing recognisability with popularity.

Too many people mix these up.

Worker popularity levels. Again, C+ is a very high level of career accomplishment to have attained and is nothing to be sniffed at. It's a national success, though not quite the top of the pile.

This is basically what putting Omega at 70 in the USA means. He would be the top end of this grade. Is he really going straight in as an Upper Midcarder in WWE?

C- = Midcard in a National level company for the most part, main event level for cults and strong headliners for smaller indy companies. Don't be afraid to rate people lower in popularity, this is still bigger than anyone who is just an indy darling would ever be able to reach.

Or should he maybe be boosted to here? I'd say C- in the USA would be where Omega and the Young Bucks (maybe) should sit (54-59 overness). Possibly a C (low 60's) if being generous.

Again, just my opinion as I have nothing to do with this anymore in terms of decisions.

All your points are totally valid Fleisch.

A couple of small disagreements but not on your core points. I think Cena is probably as popular as anyone other than the top couple of Attitude guys. Austin & the Rock were huge by any era's standards but Cena would be up there with Micheals (who was never beloved).

With Omega I agree in game terms you wouldn't bring him in as a Upper Mid Carder. In the real world I suspect they would. I think the feeling is that Kenny is one of those guys who might put numbers into ratings and crowds just by turning up by bringing the lapsed fans back to see him in the WWE. I could see him coming straight in and feuding with someone like The Miz (I just got excited at that thought) Bryan, AJ, Joe, Nakamura, Hardy or even Orton and not be out of place. You will note I put him straight onto SD because RAW is clearly being flavoured around bigger guys and as it stans now Omega fits the SD criteria better. In Omega's case I think it's a case of book the guy like a star and the part of the crowd who isn't familiar will accept him as one because the part that is will go nuts (much as they did with AJ). In game terms though I'd say that's a biggish SQ rather than pop. It means that if they book him right he can get over quick.

In fairness, Omega probably could conceivably go straight into an upper midcard position were he to go to WWE - though that's in part because, if WWE were to sign him, it would be a big money deal to convince him to leave NJPW, so they would need to get a return on their investment pretty quickly. That's a dynamic that's not really reflected all that well in the game, though, and goes beyond "overness" as a metric.

All-In is an anomaly, in which it was as much the hype of the one-off event as it was any individual wrestler that was the draw. It would be hard to extrapolate from that one show that Kenny Omega, or anyone else on the card, was "over" enough to draw a crowd of 10,000 in any other environment.

One has to factor in the sheer difference in size between the WWE audience and the audience of any other wrestling promotion. About five or six years ago, there was a poll of self-described wrestling fans, and fewer than 2% could name a wrestling promotion that wasn't WWE. To the vast majority of the WWE audience, there is no wrestling outside of WWE.

RAW's lowest rated episode ever drew 2,470,000 viewers. That's still roughly two million more viewers than the average episode of ROH, NJPW on AXS, or Lucha Underground, and about one and a half million more than the average episode of Impact, during the same calendar year (2015). You could guess that any of those other promotions have reached a larger audience in subsequent years, but they still haven't come close to bothering WWE's lowest viewing figures.

So someone being a big name in any non-WWE promotion means that they're known by maybe a quarter of WWE's audience, at best.

Obviously translating that into TEW popularity has to be kinda logarithmic but if Omega is rating a 70 that doesn't leave much space to slot Reigns and Cena above him.

Giving Kenny Omega around 50 would be conservative and I could see as high as 60 if everything else scales out, but any higher than that is asking for trouble.

Matt Hardy has announced that the match he had in Corpus Christie is likely his last. He has been working as a producer (Road Agent) for the last few weeks. He said never say never so I'd set him as Semi Active for now because it's possible he might do some sort of final blowoff match/s but it's unlikely we will see him in more than a handful of bouts going forward.

205 is moving to Wednesday's on the Network. It's not clear if it's just for the 14 week Mixed Match Challenge period but it's probable that it's permanent.

Cruisers can work superbly in that opening hour with higher octane stuff before you et to the story driven stuff on SD, its actually classic TEW booking. Really hoping for a ton of new younger prospects. I did a search of the previous real world mod and it seems like almost everyone is 30 or older. maybe thats just the way the business is now and days?

That's how this mod is supposed to be, there is the well known young talent but if you want more/everybody just import workers from TheWho mod and adjust the stats accordingly. Or just play TheWho mod since he has loads of talent imo this mod fine picks talent and well know lads no reason to include lads who are under 20 if they are working small indy's and have no name.
