Nothing against any US fed but unless a US fed has a TV deal, a unique concept and/or significant momentum they shouldn't be added at this point.

The mod recently brought in some Joshi feds because that was under represented and if anything was to be added it should be something that is under-represented like lower tier Mexico, any of the Ozzie feds or something from one of the European zones that doesn't have anything in it. That would give those areas more life.

That's really why I feel they should be added, if CZW, IPW, NCW, and a whole bunch of others can be in when they're really low level and not at all gaining any momentum, why can't the fastest rising US indy be in too? I get that there should be more representation from all different places, and I'm totally for more Mexico/Australia/EU feds, I'm a big fan of Joshi so seeing that get boosted was great and I'm sure big fans of the scenes there want that first, but GCW is really one of the best indies in the whole world, let alone the US.

And let's not forget, if we get GCW, we get Spring Break:D

If anyone wanted to play as GCW they could create it themselves in game. I'd be all for people adding assets like the belts into the data so people can do that but to me I cant see a US fed that should be cut to make way for them. If you were adding a US fed I'd think Rocky Mountain Pro would be a better choice merely because it's got a TV deal and is located in an area that doesn't already have a over supply of feds. Either way it would likely mean cutting someone and I don't see anyone who really should go MLW, CHIKARA, PWG, CZW and the like aren't going anywhere, SHIMMER & SHINE are filling a definite need - I just don't see a smaller US fed that deserves to go to fit GCW in.

GCW has pretty much zero cut through outside the US as far as I can tell. Places like PWI & Wrestlinginc post short results sometimes but it's not like they are getting hype from the major news sites. They are not in the top 10 US/Canada feds WWE, ROH, IMPACT, ALL In, PWG, CHIKARA, SHIMMER, MLW, the NWA (mainly the Hollywood version), CZW, SHINE, Evolve, OVW, House of Hardcore etc all get significantly more coverage. So it's simply a minor fed in an area that's already over saturated in terms of feds in game. Not slighting the product because I honestly have never seen it but that sums it up - before someone mentioned it here a few posts ago I couldn't recall ever even noticing any significant news about it. If it was a hot up and coming fed in Europe, Australia or Mexico I'd be all for it (as they are a bit too empty) but where it is right now I don't see it as being something that would add significantly to the mod. I get why fans would want it in and I get that it might be good in real life but in game I don't think it's required or that it would add much.

Firstly the biggest promotions here draw significantly fewer fans than many US based feds that would not even be considered for inclusion. Secondly the way TEW divides the Australia region with Western, Central and Eastern is a little strange geographically when trying to capture each region's wrestling scene. If they wanted to bundle it into three I would personally think West, North-East and South-East would probably make more sense in terms of territory but that's just me. Finally no promotion really stands out if you want 2-5 Australian promotions in the data-set. Once you add the 2nd or 3rd it becomes hard to justify not adding all 14 because they are sort of all on the same level and it becomes a case of "why did you choose this one over that one?" type of deal.

One suggestion I could possibly make if your goal was to keep the number of promotions down might be to perhaps bundle a few of the promotions from each region that have a good working relationship with one another and then use their different promotion logos as brands or different show events etc. Although its not ideal it could be justified as many of the promoters here use the same talent anyway and have a working relationship with one another.

If you need pictures of anything in the Australia region let me know. I have a half finished mod that I was making as a booster to Fleish's original mod that I sort of abandon. WA is difficult because Perth is the most isolated major city on earth so their scene is pretty separate from even SA (RCW), NSW has the most established scene with both the 2 national touring feds and things like PWA/PWWA and IWA being prominent for vents there. I don't think you can weigh these things on the relative size because it's more about various areas having a semblance of life. The US will have that with what's in the mod but Australia, Europe and to some extend Mexico probably need a couple of extra feds each purely to keep those areas breathing and vibrant. They shouldn't necessarily be big feds though just enough to keep some people employed and working which they are in real life.

For info here's some site links for some of the promotions in Australasia for future reference I've only included those I think would be considered long term viable with some sort of profile outside their core area.

Nationwide -

http://tntwrestler.com/

https://www.worldserieswrestling.com/

NSW -

https://www.iwawrestling.com.au/

http://www.prowrestlingaustralia.com.au/

SA

https://www.riotcitywrestling.com/

Victoria

http://melbournecitywrestling.com.au/

NZ

http://www.impactprowrestling.co.nz/

WA - I wouldn't know which of the Perth promotions are top of the heap but I have heard of them both

https://epwperth.com/

or

http://www.nhpw.com.au/

A list with lots of website links form Wikipedia including the ones above and some of the other feds

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_professional_wrestling_organisations_in_Australia

Meanwhile with AEW It's backed by a major sports team owner so it's likely to be an ongoing viable concern even if the initial hype lessens and realistically could vault into the number 3 US fed spot within 12 months given it's hype and momentum.
Would there/could there be room to add Alex Wright's NEW European Championship Wrestling? I think they'd be a fun company [if nothing else] for people to play. First, they have an event schedule and easy logo image sources conducive to a TEW play through. Second, Alex Wright also runs a training school [dojo] that would allow players to draw future workers/stars into the company. Third, they also own their own venue, the NEW hotspot.

I'm not sure how many workers on their roster are already in the database, but they have a youtube page and a website roster page that should provide pictures/graphics. Scouting top guys at least should be too hard.

They seem to have a broadcasting footprint -- notably on FITE TV but also in UK and Germany. More details on their German Wikipedia page.

Just a [admittedly bad] idea for a promotion to add to the mod.

I can't believe nobody mentioned this yet, but the Green Power Ranger Jason David Frank is making his pro wrestling debut for a small local company in Texas. I demand that he is added to make the data complete, I mean without such a legendary man how can I play this mod ever again!? lol :p:D

AEW has reportedly signed Britt Baker along with Cody, Adam Page, The Young Bucks, and Brandi Rhodes as confirmed signees for the promotion.

BJ Whitmer is also with AEW in a backstage producer role so could probably include him as a road agent in the data.

I’m not sure how much work this would mean, but maybe company size could be looked at for a few US feds, with the news about AEE forming a lot of feds are starting to sign talent to exclusive deals, MLW ROH and Impactvare all companies who are signing people up on multi year deals.

I know it could not be viable in TEW terms, but would add a certain level of realism when it comes to playing in the US by the time the next update is out
