I need help!

I had Ric Flair signed to a long term contract, not in negations at all. Then out of the blue I get an email that he signed with AJPW. I did not put much stock into it because he was still signed with me for a number of years. Now I got an email that said Flair left my company! He is on the AJPW roster! What do I do?!?!?!

Ive never seen anything like this before. Literally no notification of any kind. Just that he signed a new contract then he was gone a couple of days later. In the editor I cannot change his contract because he is on tour...

I mean, I do not KNOW for sure that his contract had time on it, but I certainly could not imagine me missing the notification that his contract was up. He is my top star. Also I think there would be a massive bidding war for him with multiple notifications. And I doubt anyone would have outbid the WWF. I thought it was some sort of narrative glitch. I left the NWA Alliance because my workers kept going out on loan, so I thought maybe it was some leftover thing from that? I have no clue? How long do tours last?

This reminds me that if your "Wrestler" signs with a company you are war with he immediately leaves, but that happens in ppa contract and for a written contract wrestler, it is impossible to make him contract negotiations. This has to be definitely a glitch of some sort. Tour last for about "Time" on the contract, or you can go to editor, then to contracts and then to contract type and set his contract option from touring to ppa or witten, and days left on the contract to 1. Then sign him again and be like it never happened. lol

<p>Did his contract have a non-compete clause in it?</p><p> </p><p>

Was his morale low? Did he previously hand in his notice?</p><p> </p><p>

Do you have a company relationship with AJPW where he was signed to a loaner deal?</p><p> </p><p>

You can always reset your save to the beginning of that week to check his contract status and if there were some negotiations going on that you didn't realize.</p>

<p>It sounds to me that the original poster was using Flair on an Exclusive PPA deal... those have confused many people before in similar situations, with people generally thinking they act like a written deal (can't sign for anyone else while they are employed with you) but really they are a pay per appearance deal where they can only work for you, meaning they will leave for you if they sign a deal with anyone else as that would break the exclusive part of it.</p><p> </p><p>

I'd be very surprised if that wasn't the case and I've argued many times for the EPPA contract type to be done away with and for written deals to generally act like the way people think the EPPA deals do, with the written amount being the downside a worker would have as that more accurately mirrors reality. Hopefully that happens in future. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>Cheating options:</p><p> </p><p>

Load Save > Game Recovery will take you back to the last Sunday of the save. If you've gone past the next Sunday, or Flair left on Sunday, you can't do anything about it. </p><p> </p><p>

You can also edit his contract in the in-game editor, but I'm not sure he'll sign back with you.</p>
