Full Card:

North American Heavyweight Championship: Matthew Keith vs. “The Supreme Star” Spencer Spade © w/ Lisa Bowen

Comments: I think the Henry/Spade match is going to be Spade's final swan song. But this match might bring down the house.

GWC Special Challenge: “The Boss” Ross Henry vs. Jay Chord

Comments: This is the long build to Henry/Spade.

North American Tag Team Championship: The Devil’s Rejects w/ February Malaise vs. Homegrown ©

Comments: Homegrown has momentum, and with the Rejects kind of floating around, there isn't any reason to think they topple Homegrown here.

Grudge Match: Matty Faith vs. Ash Campbell w/ Lisa Bowen

Comments: Give Faith a big shot in the arm for his momentum, and make it a race for the third and decisive match.

North American Women’s Championship: “The Mistress of the Backbreaker” Talia Quinzel vs. Jaime Quine ©

Comments: Quinzel can carry the belt, and as a veteran, she gives you a good transition champ.

Grudge Match: Georgia Bulldogs vs. The Hazard Gang w/ Duke Hazard

Comments: The Hazard Gang keeps hanging around, but let them lose on some misstep (botched interference maybe?), making it a good setup for a third and final bout.

United States Championship: “The Omega Man” Harvey Robbinfield vs. “Lionheart” Funakoshi ©

Comments: Robbinfield is a good challenger, but I think Funakoshi gets a proper run here before dropping it.

I would love to see a write-up on the pop your guys have. Seeing Hazard Gang going over The Mission was a big surprise, even if it was by nefarious means. Who are your big name stars and who has floated down the card?

You really are a machine at posting!

North American Heavyweight Championship: Matthew Keith vs. “The Supreme Star” Spencer Spade © w/ Lisa Bowen

Comments: I remain convinced Ross will dethrone Spencer. I am highly suspicious of Matt leapfrogging Greg to a title shot seeing as he lost to Greg in the Gold Rush finals... I think this one has potential for that elusive A grade match!

GWC Special Challenge: “The Boss” Ross Henry vs. Jay Chord

Comments:

Ross has this one in the bag, but frustration might get the better off Ross if he keeps getting messed about.

North American Tag Team Championship: The Devil’s Rejects w/ February Malaise vs. Homegrown ©

Comments:

Homegrown still haven't amounted to the force I thought they were groomed to be-- Perhaps this is the beginning of a dominant run at last.

Grudge Match: Matty Faith vs. Ash Campbell w/ Lisa Bowen

Comments:

I'm going with Ash here after The Mission lost to the Outlaws which was a surprising loss (even with the distraction). My money would be Ash becomes the next road block to Ross.

North American Women’s Championship: “The Mistress of the Backbreaker” Talia Quinzel vs. Jaime Quine ©

Comments:

I like Talia but she isn't there yet!

Grudge Match: Georgia Bulldogs vs. The Hazard Gang w/ Duke Hazard

Comments:

Not going to bet against Riley and KC.

United States Championship: “The Omega Man” Harvey Robbinfield vs. “Lionheart” Funakoshi ©

Comments:

Funakoshi seems like a transitional champion... But not for Harvey.

I’m Michael Riggs and I’m joined in the broadcast booth by the legendary Sheriff of professional wrestling, Ricky Dale Johnson and by the smartest woman in all of professional wrestling, The Human Encyclopedia, Jasmine Saunders. What a show we have in store for you tonight. Jay Chord returns to CWL for the first time in over a year when he went to the finals of the Gold Rush tournament. He will be going one on one with ‘The Boss’ Ross Henry, but our main event of the evening, for the first time ever, Matthew Keith challenges Spencer Spade for the North American Heavyweight Championship.</p><p> </p><p> RDJ: The match has ‘big fight feel’ written all over it. Matthew Keith is one of the best wrestlers on the planet. He has the business in his blood. I had the honor of wrestling his father on multiple occasions. His father is one of the immortals of this business and both of his sons are cut from the same cloth. As good as Spencer Spade is, as good as he has been as champion, I think that tonight Matthew Keith will end the night raising the North American Heavyweight Championship above his head.</p><p> </p><p> JS: You may be right, Ricky, but there’s a small problem. Matthew Keith has not held a singles championship since he left Pittsburgh Steel Wrestling and went to Burning Hammer of the Wrestling Gods. In PSW, he was twice the National Champion, but those are his only singles championships. Spencer Spade is very accomplished as a singles competitor. He has a championship pedigree. Not only is he in his second reign as North American Heavyweight Champion, he was twice the RIPW Heavyweight Champion and once the RIPW USA Champion. Matthew Keith is a great professional wrestler and tonight could be the night that he busts through the glass ceiling and reclaims singles glory, but Spencer Spade is a proven commodity as a singles competitor.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GNkzKok.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GNkzKok.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Opening Match</strong></p><p> Singles Match</p><p> Twenty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <img alt="YVV6cka.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/YVV6cka.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="lZO4rOP.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/lZO4rOP.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="wRw12Rl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wRw12Rl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> “The Omega Man” Harvey Robbinfield versus “Lionheart” Funakoshi ©</p><p> </p><p> In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Funakoshi defeated Harvey Robbinfield in 13:06 by pinfall with a Butterfly Backbreaker. The Hazard Gang dominated most of the match with their wild brawling -- two cowboys straight out of a John Wayne movie. The Bulldogs made a big comeback and hit the Georgia Rain [springboard Hart Attack] onto Wes Revell.</p><p> </p><p> Georgia Bulldogs defeated The Hazard Gang in 15:54 when Riley McManus defeated Outlaw Wes Revell by pinfall with a Georgia Rain.</p><p> </p><p> Outlaw Wes Revell was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. </p><p> <img alt="ZSlyKQ6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZSlyKQ6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Singles Match</strong></p><p> Thirty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <img alt="gpZxz6g.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/gpZxz6g.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="TRow38h.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/TRow38h.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="j9Qo4SQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/j9Qo4SQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> “The Mistress of the Backbreaker” Talia Quinzel versus Jaime Quine ©</p><p> </p><p> Talia Quinzel was getting her first North American Women’s Championship opportunity here against a woman who is as hot as any wrestler on the planet. She’s coming into her sixth defense of the North American Women’s Championship in this reign -- her second reign -- and she has come into her own. She’s no longer the stepsister of legendary wrestler Catherine Quine. She’s Jaime Quine -- the second best women’s wrestler on the planet (she’s not the World Women’s Champion, after all). </p><p> </p><p> This was a very good match here, with Quinzel looking like a star. The Mistress of the Backbreaker hit Quine with every version of the backbreaker she could think of -- but Quine would not go down. Quinzel went for the Spinal Trauma, but when she spun, Quine back flipped out of it and landed behind her. Quinzel turned around and Quine hit her flush on the temple with a K.O. Kick.</p><p> </p><p> Jaime Quine defeated Talia Quinzel in 12:51 by pinfall with a K.O. Kick. Jaime Quine makes defence number 6 of her CWL North American Women's title. </p><p> <img alt="e5wmXmn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/e5wmXmn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Grudge Match</strong></p><p> Singles Match</p><p> Thirty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <img alt="gP5kPOf.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/gP5kPOf.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="gVR6xaP.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/gVR6xaP.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="LwiCz3j.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LwiCz3j.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Matty Faith versus Ash Campbell w/ Lisa Bowen</p><p> </p><p> In a contest that was underwhelming, especially considering what these two men had done previously -- but the feud had run out of steam, a victim of being prolonged from May when Ash cost Matty the championship to November. It was still a solid match up between both competitors but neither was at the top of their game. They went back and forth for just over eighteen minutes before Matty Faith hit the Leap of Faith.</p><p> </p><p> Matty Faith defeated Ash Campbell in 18:12 by pinfall with a Leap Of Faith.</p><p> <img alt="e5wmXmn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/e5wmXmn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45989" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><img alt="LqKqiEK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LqKqiEK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> MK: When you look at me you see one thing. You see a professional wrestler. It’s all I’ve ever wanted to be, it’s all I’ve ever been. Since the day I turned eighteen, I’ve been wrestling professionally. All throughout high school, I trained to be in this business. It’s what I do. It’s what my family does. We wrestle. I’ve been all over the world because of my ability in the wrestling ring. Tonight for the first time ever, I step into the ring with Spencer Spade. Tonight, I take the Supreme Star and I twist his body with the Proton Lock. Tonight, I become the North American Heavyweight Champion and I cement just who I am in this business. I cement that I am the best wrestler alive.</p><p> <img alt="LTiTJNd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LTiTJNd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><div></div></blockquote><p></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tag Team Match</strong></p><p> Thirty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <img alt="WWW9kJ7.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/WWW9kJ7.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="ZPSijPY.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZPSijPY.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="ZjCgexS.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZjCgexS.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="LC8rqZh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LC8rqZh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="y9l6Ubu.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/y9l6Ubu.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="2NhBQ8m.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/2NhBQ8m.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> The Devil’s Rejects w/ February Malaise versus Homegrown ©</p><p> </p><p> A very physical match between four people who have become synonymous with Continental Wrestling League. The Rejects have spent their entire careers with CWL while Yoder and Puder have each spent time with the ‘big leagues’ and returned as the popular heroes. The Rejects have established that if this was twenty years ago they’d be the top gaijin team in any Japanese company. They’re just that physical and that believable because they are two legitimate tough guys and bikers who aren’t a gimmick but are the real deal. Clyde and Jakob are also as real as they come. The legit son of a pig farmer and a Mennonite who left his family ranch to pursue a dream. Both teams have connected with the audience and while Homegrown have stumbled a bit as a team but have found some recent success and may have turned the corner as a duo.</p><p> </p><p> The match went back and forth, again and again, with all four men -- hosses to be accurate- went at it. The Biker Babe, February Malaise was all over the outside and put in perhaps her best performance ever in the years she’s been employed by the CWL. Anderson and Holly hit Yoder with a massive assisted powerbomb -- which is impressive when you consider the three hundred fifty nine pounds worth of bulk that Yoder carries around went high into the air and came crashing down onto the mat.</p><p> </p><p> Puder was a house of fire and is finally looking like the Puder that had set CWL on fire before he went to USPW and probably lost some of his momentum and passion from the way USPW fumbled him. Puder hit a big Samoan Drop on Holly that looked like it almost buckled the ring and then hit a huge Patriot Powerslam on the three hundred seven pound Johnny Anderson.</p><p> </p><p> Homegrown defeated The Devil's Rejects in 17:10 when Clyde Puder defeated Johnny Anderson by pinfall with a Patriot Powerslam. Homegrown make defence number 2 of their CWL North American Tag Team titles. </p><p> <img alt="LTiTJNd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LTiTJNd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Co Main Event</strong></p><p> Singles Match</p><p> Thirty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <img alt="goVDjy6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/goVDjy6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Kta9Aym.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Kta9Aym.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> “The Boss” Ross Henry versus Jay Chord</p><p> </p><p> The former TCW World Heavyweight and two time NOTBPW Canadian Champion and currently ranked #23 in the world as a professional, Jay Chord and former PFL MVP Ross Henry came out with a story to tell. Much like Gino Montero, Jay Chord -- the master of the DDT -- worked on the surgically repaired arm off Ross Henry. Chord had a more vicious offense than Gino -- who used a lot of fluid lucha libre style wrestling to work over the arm, Chord took Henry to the mat and worked the arm over with knee drops and various armbar attempts. Henry used his powerful base to get back to his feet each time and fight out of each arm bar.</p><p> </p><p> Chord went for the DDT, but Henry blocked it by standing up and switching Jay Chord over onto his shoulder and taking off for a huge Earthquake Powerslam.</p><p> </p><p> Ross Henry defeated Jay Chord in 22:40 by pinfall with an Earthquake Powerslam.</p><p> <img alt="e5wmXmn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/e5wmXmn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45989" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p><img alt="pXrup2J.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/pXrup2J.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="LwiCz3j.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LwiCz3j.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> Spencer Spade holds up the North American Heavyweight Championship. Spencer Spade. The Supreme Star. The World’s Greatest Sports Entertainer. I’m what’s happening in professional wrestling. I’m the talk of the town. The standard bearer. I’m Mister Red Carpet. Tonight, Matthew Keith has an opportunity to go one on one with the greatest alive. Matthew Keith, you son of a gun with your pumped up beach muscles and the move you stole from your daddy -- you think you’re going to beat the Supreme Star? I’ve been a winner since day one. I’ve been the talk of the whole industry since before I had ever had a professional match. I’m still the talk of the industry. I occupy the pole position. I’m the measuring stick. Tonight Matthew, tonight you find out that you just don’t measure up.</p><p> <img alt="bNNwRE0.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bNNwRE0.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p></p><p> <img alt="cmOMjha.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cmOMjha.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div></p></div></blockquote><p></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Main Event</strong></p><p> Singles Match</p><p> Sixty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <img alt="3OZlGfe.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/3OZlGfe.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="LqKqiEK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LqKqiEK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XlkPWjh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XlkPWjh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="LwiCz3j.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LwiCz3j.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Matthew Keith versus “The Supreme Star” Spencer Spade © w/ Lisa Bowen</p><p> </p><p> There is a big fight feel in the Gorski Ballroom. Matthew Keith looked to be in the best shape of his life, it’s clear he’s been in the gym in the weeks leading up to this match to make sure he looked extra fit. Spade looks as good as ever with brand new orange and black trunks. Lisa is wearing a matching dress. Darren Smith, senior CWL official and one of the greatest referees of all time has been assigned the contest. There is the full pre-match presentation with the in ring instructions being given to both men, with both grapplers being checked for concealed objects. Smith also warns Lisa Bowen that he will not tolerate any interference from her in this contest. </p><p> </p><p> The match starts off slow. This is the first time either man have wrestled one another in a singles contest and they spend the first few minutes just feeling each other out. They locked up in the collar-elbow tie up and jockeyed for position several times. A Greco-Roman Knuckle lock led to a test of strength that was won by the more powerful Matthew Keith. After several minutes of going back and forth, Matthew Keith is able to fully gain the advantage by virtue of his strength advantage. Spade got rocked by several powerful suplexes and slams and eventually powdered to the outside in an attempt to catch his breath and create some space between he and Matthew Keith.</p><p> </p><p> Keith follows Spade to the outside and Spade runs around the ring. He rolls back in and as soon as Matthew Keith rolls in, Spade jumps him and takes control. Spade is in control from here on out -- and he focuses on the neck. The Proton Lock requires a bridge from Matthew Keith -- a wrestler’s bridge that requires the neck to be in peak condition to effectively apply and Spade did his best to take the neck out of the equation. Spade worked slow and diligently. Keith kept trying to fight back, to power up -- and several times he was successful in momentarily seizing control back from Spade, but each time Spade resorted to a dirty -- but not fully illegal -- tactic to keep control. Eyerakes. Hair pulls. Each time he got a warning from Darren Smith, but this is a North American Heavyweight Championship matchup and Darren Smith is giving the boys some room to decide the match for themselves.</p><p> </p><p> Spade hit a closed right handed punch on Keith that caught him above the eyebrow and caused some blood to come out. Spade, seeing the blood, became like a shark. He attacked with several big knees to the face to try and open up the cut more. He did -- which caused Smith to momentarily pause the contest to check on the cut. He called in the ringside doctor to check and see if the commission would allow the match to continue. Keith demanded to be allowed to continue -- and he was!</p><p> </p><p> He came out of the break like a man possessed. Spade tried to get away, but Keith hit him with a huge exploder suplex that looked like it sent Spade back to when he worked for SWF, that’s how loopy his face went. Keith followed that up with a big stalling suplex -- showing off the power he developed over his years in Japan. Keith, with half his face and one eye completely obscured by blood, drove his head into Spade’s head and then hit a beautiful brainbuster. After the brainbuster, Keith went for the Proton Lock. He got the legs into the proper position and crossed the shins over. He stepped through and got Spade onto his belly before dropping down and going into the wrestler’s bridge to complete the move. He got ahold of Spencer Spade’s neck and pulled him into the full Proton Lock -- a move no one escapes from.</p><p> </p><p> The crowd was on their feet. Here was Matthew Keith, bloodied and battered, moments away from becoming the North American Heavyweight Champion. That is, until his neck gives out and the bridge collapses. Spade crawls to the ropes and wraps his body around them as Keith holds his neck and tries to massage the feeling back into it. He gets to his feet and moves towards Spencer Spade. Spade is pulled from the ropes and as Spade is pulled to his feet, he flails his arms. His elbow catches referee Darren Smith right in the temple -- and Darren Smith falls to the mat from the blow. </p><p> </p><p> The crowd gasps as Keith moves to check on the downed referee. While Keith is checking on Darren Smith, the crowd goes wild -- in a mixture of positive and negative reactions. The reason for their response…</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="jQ7bK2B.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/jQ7bK2B.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> FLAWLESS FRANKLIN RUSH has hit the ring. The former two-time United States Champion has slid into the ring and is right behind Matthew Keith. He spins him around, kicks him in the gut and hits him with the Flawlessplex [stalling Fisherman’s Suplex]. After hitting the Flawlessplex, he lifts Matthew Keith back up and pushes him towards Spencer Spade who immediately hits the Supreme Stunner. Rush lifts Smith up and drags him over to where Spencer Spade is making the cover before getting out of the ring. Smith comes to and sees Spade covering Matthew Keith. He makes the count. One...Two...Three!</p><p> </p><p> Spencer Spade leaps to his feet as Lisa Bowen and Franklin Rush enter. Bowen hands Spade the North American Heavyweight Championship and the three of them stand tall as Thanksgiving Thunder goes off the air.</p><p> </p><p> In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat, Spencer Spade defeated Matthew Keith in 27:38 by pinfall with a Supreme Stunner. During the match we also had Franklin Rush run in and attack Keith. Spencer Spade makes defence number 6 of his CWL North American Heavyweight title. </p><p> <img alt="LTiTJNd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LTiTJNd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Overall</span></strong></p><p> <img alt="LTiTJNd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LTiTJNd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p></div><p></p>

</p><div style="text-align:left;"><p><strong>Overview:</strong></p><p> </p><p>

The Masked Stranger first started appearing on independent shows around Florida in early 2010 and it didn't take long for people to start talking about him as a definite prospect for the future given his undoubted skill. Somehow he came to the attention of Nemesis, who brought him in to Invincible Pro Wrestling in late 2012 as part of his efforts to bolster a depleted roster. The Stranger may not be the usual IPW worker, but he managed to establish himself as a unique and dependable member of the roster.</p><p> </p><p>

He worked for IPW for eight years while also doing several tours of Japan for PGHW and a year on the roster of BHOTWG.</p><p> </p><p>

I looked down at Cora, who was at this moment asleep on my chest. I was at work and she was strapped to me with one of those BabyBjörn gimmicks that Mariah had gotten me and insisted I wear. I didn’t like to take Cora to the office with me, but Marjorie had a doctor’s appointment that KC was taking her too and Mariah was sick and couldn’t watch the baby -- so here I was. Cora was a couple of months old and was, by and large, a good baby. She was only fussy when she got really hungry, really tired, or needed a diaper change. She smiled a lot. She was six months old and cooed and laughed and had just the most beautiful eyes a baby ever had -- but I was definitely biased in that regard. I was a Pappa after all. Her Pappa. My wife and I had decided that we would go with the Finnish Pappa and Mummo for Grandpa and Grandma. Mariah, despite her Western-European name (her mother named her after some Jane Austen character that was named Maria but was pronounced with with the long ‘I’ -- though some people think she must have been named after that song “They Call The Wind Maria” from Paint Your Wagon, but they’d be mistaken, is very Finnish. Her Father’s side is one hundred percent Finnish and her mother was three-quarters Finnish -- they just loved the name Mariah. Her maiden name was Koskinen. As a mutt, I could care less.</p><p> </p><p>

I looked down at Cora. Her little fists were curled up against my chest. Her face turned against my chest. It was adorable. Heart-meltingly adorable. I looked across the conference table at the other two men with me. Ricky Dale Johnson and Sean McFly, my number two and number three. Together, as a trio, we were the driving creative force behind Continental Wrestling. Ricky and Sean had taken over the Rocky Mountain School of Wrestling for me because with the expanse of CWL, I couldn’t promote the towns, manage the finances and do all of the things that a promoter needed to do and train new talent. So I left that up to Ricky and Sean. They also made all of the TVs. Ricky was our lead color commentator. Sean was my number two producer. I could time the shows and be on the headset with the truck and Sean could be in the back with the workers helping. We had developed into a finely tuned unit.</p><p> </p><p>

“It’s been a little while since we’ve produced a graduate. Any word on when the new guys will be ready?” I asked them. I didn’t mince words, I didn’t beat around the bush with them. They were professionals. I treated them as such -- and as a response, they treated me as such.</p><p> </p><p>

“End of the month. Beginning of January. Got three kids that’ll be ready. My nephew. His best friend and a girl from Alaska who has taken to the business like a fish to water.” Ricky said in his thick Texas drawl. </p><p> </p><p>

“Your nephew?” I asked him. I wasn’t aware that Ricky had a nephew, let alone one that was training to wrestle.</p><p> </p><p>

“My sister’s kid. He’s a good kid. Idolizes Pistol Pete Hall. He’s got a good head for the game. We’ll see how he develops, but he could be somethin’.” Ricky said.</p><p> </p><p>

“It’s a good group.” Sean added. “They work hard. Joel will loving having them.”</p><p> </p><p>

I nodded my head. “Okay, so we have some graduates coming up end of the month who will be ready for January. That’s good to know. That brings us to January. We have this month planned out -- we know where we are at and where we want to be at the end of this month, but where do we want to go for January?”</p><p> </p><p>

Sean leaned back in his seat. “I think we should do another New Year’s Rumble to start January off. Last year’s created some really good stories with Matty Faith winning. It led to him winning the strap at Wrestling Summit and set us up for some great business. Why not try to replicate that?”</p><p> </p><p>

Ricky nodded his head. “I agree. There are a couple of guys that we could put over in it. Riley. Ash. Cameron. Ross. Primus. Jeffery. All six of those guys would be good candidates -- and that is just coming off the top of the head. Matty could repeat. We could go with Logan coming back from his vacation. Franklin now that he’s back. We have a lot of options.”</p><p> </p><p>

It was my turn to nod. I wasn’t sitting -- with Cora strapped to my chest it was easier to stand and truthfully, at sixty-one years old I needed to stay active. The doctor had recently diagnosed me with osteoarthritis in both knees. My weight was under control -- I hadn’t gained a pound in years. I was still active in the gym but because of my time as a promoter I had grown more sedentary. With Cora strapped to my chest, it forced me to not sit. To work while standing. It was a different feeling, but I felt like I was doing better work. “Yeah. I like that. The networks mentioned in September that if we wanted to do a two hour special we could. Maybe we start the year off with one?”</p><p> </p><p>

Ricky and Sean took a long moment to mull this over. It was Ricky who spoke first. “I think that could work. Gives us a full hour for the Rumble and then some angles, maybe an undercard match or two. It’ll work nicely.”</p><p> </p><p>

Sean took a drink from his cup of coffee and gave the thumbs up -- he gave a lot of thumbs up -- it was his way of agreeing without having to speak.</p><p> </p><p>

“We’re in agreement then.” I said as I reached over to the table for my water. I took a quick drink, careful not to wake the sleeping Cora. “What do we think of where we’re at? Spencer on top. Jaime as Women’s Champ. Funakoshi. Homegrown. Any changes?”</p><p> </p><p>

Sean shrugged. “None that I can see. At least, nothing that deviates from the plan. Spencer has really been running with the ball. He’s become a real locker room leader. He’s taken the mantle of being ‘the guy’ seriously. It’s been really good to see. And Jaime has been an absolute pleasure in the locker room. It was what, two weeks ago where she had the whole locker room in stitches from her impressions? She does a killer Robert Oxford by the way.”</p><p> </p><p>

“I bet.” I said dryly. “What about Homegrown? Do you think they’ve found their stride as a team?”</p><p> </p><p>

Ricky nodded and removed the ever present Stetson El Presidente hat, this one was ‘silverbelly’ in color. It’s a thousand dollar hat and one of two he wore on a daily basis (he had the same hat in black). On show days, he wore the five thousand dollar Diamante Stetson -- it had real diamonds on the strap and buckle. People assumed the Stetson was just a gimmick for Ricky, but it wasn’t. He was a real cowboy. Owned a fifteen hundred acre ranch in South Texas -- just outside of Tilden. He also owned a smaller, five hundred acre ranch on the Colorado/Wyoming border that he spent his weekends and some weeknights at. It was about an hour away from where we were based and he didn’t mind making the commute. “I think they have.” The big cowboy said. “It took ‘em awhile. They aren’t natural tag team wrestlers, either one of them. I understand that. Me and Skulls had to learn to do it in Texas and we turned into a pretty good duo, it wasn’t until probably halfway through our second run with the belts that we figured it out though. They’re figuring it out -- and we desperately need a top babyface team right now.”</p><p> </p><p>

“We definitely do. We’ve got the Rejects. The Hazard Gang. The European Stretching Crew. Bowen Services. Samoan Demolition. The Fallen. Good crews of guys, but we need a babyface anchor. We can’t rely on The Mission and KC and Riley have other things planned.” Sean said and I did agree with him. The Keith Brothers had spun off into singles, they’d still team from time to time, but they were working other programs. The Stone Foundation was ultimately my hope at building a strong babyface trio that could team together in different units. David was a hell of a worker but he was young and I didn’t want to push him to the top of the mountain too soon. His brother and their friend would make a good duo, but they were rookies and needed some seasoning before they could be the top faces. So right now, Homegrown was going to do the job. Eventually, they’d have to go singles. I hadn’t decided how I wanted to do that yet, but that wouldn’t happen for awhile.</p><p> </p><p>

“And Funakoshi?” I asked.</p><p> </p><p>

“Doing the job we need him to do to get to where we want to go. The next couple of months are going to be big for him. Let’s see if he can fully transition into being a star here.” Ricky said honestly. Funakoshi was a hell of a talent and was doing well so far, but he had only joined us at the end of October. It was still to early to tell what ol’ Lionheart was going to be capable of.</p><p> </p><p>

I took another drink of water and was greeted by the familiar yawn-turned-giggle of a now awake Cora. She looked up at me. It was feeding time. “I better feed her. Let’s meet again soon to discuss that Rumble and the seventh Anniversary. We need to make it huge.”</p>

Pat Warner, professionally known as Torment or Killer Shark, put another forty-five plate on each side of the weight bar. This brought the total weight on the bar to four hundred five pounds. He was a freak of nature in the gym. A man who trained like the monster he portrayed on television. Beads of sweat lined his forehead as he got underneath the bar. He did not have a spotter -- but he also knew that save dropping the bar on his head and knocking himself out cold -- he would be okay. His hands gripped the bar and he exhaled. He inhaled and exhaled once more.</p><p> </p><p>

“Pat!” Her voice called from inside the house. He was in the one-car garage of their thousand square foot bungalow house that they were renting.</p><p> </p><p>

“Yeah?” He called back.</p><p> </p><p>

“You want salmon or cod for your next meal?” She asked.</p><p> </p><p>

He had to laugh at this. She was very concerned with his diet. She knew that he took his routine very carefully. He was up at five in the morning every morning. He took an energy supplement and then did cardio on the bike they had in the gym -- the bike was better than running because it saved his knees -- then breakfast after the hour of cardio. His breakfast consisted of ten ounces of fish -- cod or salmon -- two whole eggs and two cups of oatmeal. That was the first of seven meals. After breakfast, he did ninety minutes of weight training. He hated training in public. He hated training in public. He was a massive physical specimen. He was a head turner everywhere he went and to avoid the extra eyes, he trained at home -- but it also meant that his girlfriend liked to cook for him. It had been that way for six months, they’d been living together for the last month. Sure it was fast, but this was the wrestling business. You lived in the fast lane.</p><p> </p><p>

Houston Handley, his girlfriend, popped her head into the garage. “Did you hear me? I asked if you wanted salmon or cod. I’m about to get prepped.”</p><p> </p><p>

He just smiled at her. “Yeah, I heard you. I just got lost in my train of thought. Can I get cod -- I had salmon with breakfast.”</p><p> </p><p>

She smiled at him. She had the kind of smile that would light the whole room up -- with her dyed red hair and wide-set hazel eyes she was a head turner herself. Attractive and in-shape, she didn’t take her training as seriously as he did, but few people did. “Sure thing. Pan-seared cod it is. I was thinking of making you some cauliflower and asparagus to go with it.”</p><p> </p><p>

He nodded. “That sounds great.”</p><p> </p><p>

“Good. Should be ready by the time you’re done.”</p><p> </p><p>

He smiled and bent back under the bar. He lifted the bar up and began to pump. This was a muscle-mass building set. Heavy weight, low reps. As he lifted, he thought about where he was at in his life. He had been a professional wrestler for eleven years now. He had started in TCW and achieved moderate success but left when they didn’t use him how he ultimately wanted to be used. A six feet ten, four hundred and thirty pounds of solid muscle he was a mountain of a man. He knew that. He had bet on himself and CWL had bet on him and in the process he had fallen in love.</p><p> </p><p>

He wasn’t afraid to admit it -- it helped that she could cook like no one’s business. That good old fashioned southern cooking. Learned it from her grandma kind of cooking. He was thirty two years old and life… life was good.</p>

One of the best wrestlers on the planet, but he and I are two different wrestlers. I’m the 2022 Gold Rush winner. I’m the only person to win the Gold Rush Tournament, Oxford Invitational, Rip Chord Invitational, and Sam Keith Classic. I’m a whole different kind of animal than my brother and quite frankly, when I won the Gold Rush tournament, I guarenteed myself a future shot at the North American Heavyweight Championship. I spoke with Hailey Hunter earlier today and she spoke with CWL upper management and we all agreed. At Christmas Chaos, I’m going to get my shot at the North American Heavyweight Championship. At Christmas Chaos, I’m going to prove to you Spencer that as good as you are, you aren’t untouchable -- because you are great wrestler -- you’re the champion, but when you step into the ring with me, you’re stepping into the ring with a man who has done what no one else has ever done -- and I’m going to end my year with another crowning achievement. “Can I get a hand down here?” Brooke Tyler called out. She was trying to take the ceiling fan down from the ceiling of the house she just bought. She was comfortable that she had job security -- she had a written contract and her fiance had an exclusive deal now too. So she’d bought a house. Nothing special. Just a Bungalow -- they’re incredibly common in Denver -- but she discovered today that her living room ceiling fan was broken so she was replacing it. She was fairly handy -- but she also overestimated the weight of the fan and the angle of standing on the step stool. </p><p> </p><p>

Hugh Ancrie, her fiance, came ambling from the backyard where he was putting the finishing touches on the six-foot privacy fence that he was putting in. Hugh was far handier than people realized. He was a great carpenter -- plus Brooke couldn’t lie, she liked watching him work with his hands. </p><p> </p><p>

“What’s up?” He asked in his very relaxed -- he was perpetually relaxed and calm -- way.</p><p> </p><p>

“I need a hand with the fan.” She said and he joined her on the small ladder and reached up -- holding the fan for her while she finished taking it down. </p><p> </p><p>

“You want me to take it to the trash.” He asked and she nodded her head. </p><p> </p><p>

“Yeah, and then can you hold up the new one so I can screw it in?”</p><p> </p><p>

“Absolutely.” He said.</p><p> </p><p>

Brooke liked this being a homeowner thing. She liked getting to set up her house. She liked doing the work herself -- with Hugh. They had set a date for the wedding, they were going to get married right after Wrestling Summit VII. The Sunday after to be exact. They got the house early. </p><p> </p><p>

Hugh came back in and lifted the new fan up. He held it up for her and Brooke looked at him and then the fan. She was happy. She hadn’t been happy in Canada. She had made some friends and fallen in love with Hugh, but she was American. She wanted to be in America. It was her home and despite her success as two time NOTBPW Women’s Champion, it wasn’t *home*. She felt at home here. She could relax like she’d never been able to up north. It was easier for her. More familiar.</p><p> </p><p>

She finished screwing in the new ceiling fan and stepped off the stool. “Thanks.” She said to Hugh. They weren’t particularly mushy people. They didn’t show a lot of emotions. They didn’t use ‘I love you’ a lot. It wasn’t their style. But they did love each other and in just a few months they would be married. </p><p> </p><p>

She inhaled and let out a low breath. Things were coming together for her. She had been in limbo when NOTBPW didn’t resign her. When she’d been allowed to walk. Almost a year of just making random indy shots, nothing stable. This was stable. This was perfect.</p>

MR: Hello and welcome to another exciting and thrill packed edition of Saturday Night Slammasters. We are coming to you from the sold out Skid Row Club in New England. In our main event tonight, The Stone Foundation of David and Dan Stone III will be in tag team action as they square off against The European Stretching Crew. This is a major opportunity for the European duo as David Stone is a former two-time United States Champion and both he and his brother Dan are highly touted prospects.

RDJ: Neither has the experience of either man in the European Stretching Crew, though. Both are very experience, world-traveled grapplers that will provide an incredible challenge.

JS: We’re also scheduled to hear from Matthew Keith -- who I’m sure has something to say regarding Franklin Rush’s involvement in his match at Thanksgiving Thunder -- but first, after attacking Brandon Smith a couple of weeks ago, tonight the Butcher and The Bulldozer will go one on one.

PA: Last week, I was minding my own business when I was blindsided by The Fallen. They broke a light over my back -- it took the CWL trainer an hour and a half to pull all the pieces of shattered glass out of my back. An hour and a half I spent laying on my belly, bleeding from by back because of an attack. Fallen, y’all weren’t on my radar. I was focusing on getting back to challenge Spencer Spade for the North American Heavyweight Championship. That’s what I wanted, but y’all took my attention from that. Now I’m focused on you. Focused on what you’ve done to me. So I got in touch with two friends of mine. Guys I’ve known for years. You’ve probably heard of them. They’re held four World Tag Team Championships. They’re a dominant team. I’m talking about The Mission. Matty Faith and Ranger. They’re going to stand by my side and at Christmas Chaos, they’re going to fight y’all with me. So I hope the attack on me was worth it, ‘cause now you’re going to get your asses whipped.

MK: Imagine my surprise when I had my match at Thanksgiving Thunder in the palm of my hand.. The North American Heavyweight Championship was in my grasp. I could feel it in my palms. I could taste the victory mixed with the blood that was flowing from the cut above my eye. It was right there, but then Franklin Rush got involved. A guy I didn’t even know was employed, a guy that Lisa Bowen must have snuck in under a jacket or through a back door -- he cost me the North American Heavyweight Championship. Well Franklin, I guess you’re back now. Back in Continental Wrestling. I guess you’ve been paroled from that prison in Rhode Island that so many guys have gotten trapped in and you decided that you had to align with that she-devil Lisa Bowen. So now, because of that, I’m going to break you in half. I hope you’re ready for what’s coming, Franklin.

An Update on Rocky Mountain School of Wrestling Graduates No Longer Employed by CWL or TGL:

  • Jared Peterson -- Peterson graduated from the Rocky Mountain School of Wrestling in February of 2017. He was employed for several months before his bad attitude and getting into a backstage fight cost him his job. Since then, he’s been primarily employed on the independent scene, though he did spend eleven months working for TGL in 2022 before he was released for getting into another backstage fight.
  • Leonard Vedder - Vedder is a December of 2017 graduate of the Rocky Mountain School of Wrestling. Formerly one third of the Puerto Rican Exchange in RMW, he spent two years on the RMW/CWL roster before he was signed in 2019 by SWF, assigned to the RIPW developmental territory where he has been working for the past three years. In October of 2020, he won the RIPW USA Championship and held that until September of 2021. He made eight defenses of that championship. He is currently one half of the RIPW Tag Team Champions alongside Juan Soler. They’ve held the RIPW Tag Team titles since November 2022.
  • Juan Soler -- Soler is a November 2017 graduate of the Rocky Mountain School of Wrestling. He worked for RMW/CWL until December of 2019 -- he also worked for FCW in that time -- before he was signed to a developmental deal by SWF. He has competed in RIPW ever since. In November of 2021 he won the RIPW Championship and held it until January of 2022. He’s currently one half of the RIPW Tag Team Champions (alongside fellow CWL alumni Leonard Vedder) and has held the belt since November of 2022.
  • Brett Dewes -- Dewes is an August 2017 graduate of the Rocky Mountain School of Wrestling. He got his start as the third member of the Devil’s Rejects faction. He spent three years working for RMW/CWL where he became one of the backbones of the roster as part of the winningst group in CWL. In September of 2020 he was signed by SWF to be apart of RIPW where he has worked since.
  • Wesley Browning -- Browning is a May 2017 graduate of the Rocky Mountain School of Wrestling who became known as “Relentless” during his near-four year run with the organization. Known for the beating he could take, he became a cult favorite in the organization when SWF swooped in and signed him to be apart of RIPW where he has been slowly working his way up the card.
  • Bradley D -- D is an October 2018 graduate of the Rocky Mountain School of Wrestling who started his career as ‘The American Lion’ before losing his mask to Jeffery Aroma and becoming the fun-loving babyface, Bradley D. His natural charisma and his big bumps caught the attention of SWF who signed him in February of 2021 -- right to the main roster -- where he has worked ever since. The highlight of his SWF run was a barn-burner of a match with “The Ace” Aaron Andrews in December of 2022.
  • Louis Tully -- Tully is an August 2018 graduate of the Rocky Mountain School of Wrestling who became known as the final piece of the Devil’s Rejects. The hard hitting Heavyweight garnered attention for how quickly he got his feet under him and how willing he was to brawl everywhere. It caught the attention of RIPW who brought him into the organization in September of 2020.
  • Dale Kingman -- Dale is a December 2019 graduate of the Rocky Mountain School of Wrestling who began his career as the Golden Dragon -- the last member of the fabled Animal Kingdom group that lost all of their masks to Jeffery Aroma. His hybrid style of catch-as-catch-can and high flying caught the attention of SWF scouts and he was signed to be a part of RIPW in February of 2021.
  • R.W. Vega - Whitehead is an October 2019 graduate of the Rocky Mountain School of Wrestling who came to prominence playing the conceited, appearance-obsessed partner of Sgt. Bison. Both men were signed to RIPW in September of 2020 [though Bison has made his way back to CWL].

MR: Hello and welcome to another exciting and thrill packed edition of Saturday Night Slammasters. We are coming to you from the sold out Irvine Hall in Kansas. Tonight former North of the Border Pro Wrestling Canadian Tag Team Champions make their Continental Wrestling League debuts as The Fighting Irish take on the European Stretching Crew in our opening contest. Masked Stranger makes his debut in our main event when he takes on The Second Generation Superstar Cameron Vessey. All that and so much more!

Ross Henry comes to the ring to start this episode of Saturday Night Slammasters. He is all smiles as he takes a microphone.

RH: At Thanksgiving Thunder, I beat another hand picked GWC opponent. I beat the incredibly talented Jay Chord. So now I’ve beaten Jay Chord. I’ve been Gino Montero. Surely I have done enough to earn an opportunity at the GWC World’s Heavyweight Championship -- so Ms. Hunter, please. Come to this ring and in front of all of these fans give me the news that I deserve.

5bjzwBM.jpg

It takes a few moments -- it’s not like Hailey was sitting in the gorilla position, but she does walk out onto the stage.

HH: Ross, you’ve really got to stop coming to the ring to have these conversations. These are conversations that are meant to happen in private, not in the public eye.

RH: I don’t want to hide anything from the fans. I want them to know what I know as soon as I know it.

HH: Fine. But yes, I spoke to the GWC Committee earlier this week. I lobbied very hard on your behalf, but they said they’re not ready to give you a shot at the World’s Title just yet.

RH: What!?! Why not?

HH: They say that you’ve only beaten two competitors -- and both of those competitors are North America-based competitors and ones who have appeared in the CWL before. They want to see you in an international match against someone who has never competed in the CWL before.

RH: So who do they want me to wrestle?

HH: They want you to face reigning GWC World’s Junior Heavyweight Champion, former UEW Nations Champion and two time UEW Tag Team Champion Marcello Ricci at Christmas Chaos. Marcello also wants to move up to the heavyweight ranks to challenge for the World’s Heavyweight Title and I have been told that this match is officially for an opportunity in January at the World’s Heavyweight Champion. So at Christmas Chaos, it will be you, Ross Henry versus Marcello Ricci. The winner will face the winner of Tetsunori Yasuda and Kozue Kawashima for the World’s Heavyweight Championship.

Ross Henry looks incredibly disappointed to find that he’s got to go through another match to earn the shot that he wants to earn, but he nods his head.

RH: Okay. One more match. One more win -- and then.. The World’s Heavyweight Championship will be defended in the CWL once more and I will have that opportunity. I can’t wait.

AS: I’m sure you’ve all been wondering where I’ve been. Why haven’t I been on TV as much? Where has the great Alicia Strong been? The truth is -- I’ve been all over the world. Last week, I wrestled Killer Kass in North of the Border Pro Wrestling. Next week, I have a match scheduled against Fuyuko Higa in Mexico City -- the winner of that will be defending the World Women’s Championship on the very first Stardom show against Chiyeko Kita. When I’m not defending the World Women’s Championship, I’m training for the next defense. I’m in constant fight camp mode -- it’s the life of a World’s Champion and I am a World’s Champion. Right now I’m the longest reigning World’s Champion in the GWC. I’m the face of Women’s Wrestling all across the planet. The next time you see me in a CWL ring, you’ll pay big money because you’ll understand that you’re seeing the absolute best.

Author's Note: Thank you to everyone who voted for this diary and for me in the Diary of the Year awards. While ultimately I'm writing about a game and it is inconsequential to life, I write this for enjoyment and for other people to enjoy the stories I'm telling and the universe I'm building, the feedback [both positive and negative] provides the knowledge that I'm doing something right. The eleven awards for this diary and myself tells me that you are ultimately enjoying what I'm doing and I'm glad. Thank you. This is, after all, a hobby and my outlet from the stressors of day to day life [and my break from both work and other writing projects]. Plus, it's probably the only place I'll ever get to play booker to an audience, so there's that. We're almost to the end of 2022! Just this show and the last SNSM of the year before 2023 is here.

GWC Special Challenge: <strong>"The Boss" Ross Henry</strong> vs. "Milan" Marcello Ricci</p><p>

Comments: <strong>Ricci is a hot prospect in all my saves and I can only imagine he's developed much by this point. The story is about Henry though and I doubt Ricci has the pop to win here</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<p>Simply amazing stuff! I had to finally get all caught up again and I am so happy I did. By far my favorite diary I have ever read! Great job!</p><p> </p><p>

North American Heavyweight Championship: Greg Keith vs. <strong>"The Supreme Star" Spencer Spade © w/ Lisa Bowen</strong></p><p>

Comments: Even though I could see Greg getting the win, Spencer is on fire, plus I know he is awesome on the mic, and between him and Lisa they will do anything to get the win.</p><p> </p><p>

GWC Special Challenge: <strong>"The Boss" Ross Henry</strong> vs. "Milan" Marcello Ricci</p><p>

Comments: His story wouldn't be complete unless he gets the win and challenges for the GWC title.</p><p> </p><p>

GWC World Six Man Championship: Primus Allen & The Mission vs. <strong>The Fallen © w/ Father Grim</strong></p><p>

Comments: I doubt Primus will take the win, but the Fallen are my favorite and they need to keep the belts to look dominant and keep that going.</p><p> </p><p>

Grudge Match: <strong>Matthew Keith</strong> vs. "Flawless" Franklin Rush w/ Lisa Bowen</p><p>

Comments: I really can't see Matt losing, I don't know Franklin's pop either, but I doubt it's anywhere near Matt's. Plus Matt needs the win more.</p><p> </p><p>

United States Championship: <strong>"The Second Generation Superstar" Cameron Vessey w/ Lisa Bowen</strong> vs. "Lionheart" Funkaoshi ©</p><p>

Comments: Funkaoshi seems to be doing really good as champ, but Cameron could use the belt more I think. Plus Lisa will make sure her client wins.</p><p> </p><p>

North American Women's Championship: Harriet Blais vs. <strong>Jaime Quine ©</strong></p><p>

Comments: I see Jamie continue to reign as champ, she is doing too good to lose it right now. </p><p> </p><p>

North American Tag Team Championship: The European Stretching Crew vs. <strong>Homegrown ©</strong></p><p>

Comments: They just got the title, and I am liking what I am seeing from the European Stretching Crew, they just don't seem ready for the belts yet. Homegrown seems to eventually be better off as single stars but are doing good together, so I'd like to see them stay tags until some openings in the main event scene are there.</p>

Comments: <em>I still think this is coming down to Henry vs. Spade, maybe in a "unification" match once Henry takes the GWC Title.</em></p><p> </p><p>

GWC Special Challenge: <strong>"The Boss" Ross Henry</strong> vs. "Milan" Marcello Ricci</p><p>

Comments: <em>Henry is on a collision course for the title, and Ricci (while probably a damn good wrestler at this point) isn't there to beat Henry.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Grudge Match: Matthew Keith vs. <strong>"Flawless" Franklin Rush w/ Lisa Bowen</strong></p><p>

Comments: <em>Not sure this happens, but I think Rush gets a Bowen Services-assisted win to cement his spot on the roster and further a Keith Brothers/Bowen Services feud that is bubbling up.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Comments: <em>Not happening.</em></p><p> </p><p>

North American Tag Team Championship: The European Stretching Crew vs. <strong>Homegrown ©</strong></p><p>

<em>I miss David Stone and his heroics. I really thought he was destined to run with the big boys after his title run was done, but he has been stuck on TV trying to carry his "family" through a mini-feud.</em></p>

With him being so young still, I didn't want to push him to the full-blown top too quickly, so he had his really hot push and then got to cool down a bit before I heat him back up. He will get heated back up though.</p>
