<p>Rocky Mountain Wrestling Presents: Summer Spectacular ‘20</p><p>

Saturday, Week 4, June 2020</p><p>

Live at the Oxford Arena, 7:30 PM Bell Time</p><p>

Also Aired On Demand on the Rocky Mountain Sports Network</p><p> </p><p>

Main Event</p><p>

Singles Match</p><p>

Sixty Minute Time Limit</p><p>

Loser Leaves Town</p><p>

<strong>“The Assassin of the Squared Circle” Ernest Youngman</strong> versus Lassana Makutsi</p><p>

Your post makes me feel that one of the guys got signed to a deal. As much as I like Lassana, I feel that he is leaving due to him probably having more pop than Ernest.</p><p> </p><p>

emi Main Event</p><p>

Tag Team Match</p><p>

Forty-Five Minute Time Limit</p><p>

Rocky Mountain Tag Team Championship</p><p>

<strong>Hawaiian Boys 2.0</strong> versus The 937lb Express</p><p>

I think the title needs to be off the 937 as I remember they struggle to perform in matches, compared to others. Plus Hawaiian Boys 2.0 are much better.</p><p> </p><p>

Singles Match</p><p>

Thirty Minute Time Limit</p><p>

“The Monster” Raymond Diaz versus <strong>Brett Dewes w/ February Malaise</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p><p>

Unfortunately, Raymond doesn't have much pop in the USA, plus he is more than likely on time-decline.</p><p> </p><p>

Singles Match</p><p>

Thirty Minute Time Limit</p><p>

“The Return of the Monster” James Diaz versus <strong>Louis Tully w/ February Malaise</strong></p><p>

This was a tough one, but I have to go with the Devil's Rejects as I really hope they get their big push. </p><p> </p><p>

Singles Match</p><p>

Thirty Minute Time Limit</p><p>

<strong>Julius Moor </strong>versus Hammer Hadley</p><p>

It's his debuting match, plus he has pop from his time in USPW</p><p> </p><p>

Opening Match</p><p>

Singles Match</p><p>

Twenty Minute Time Limit</p><p>

<strong>Masked Patriot</strong> versus The Punisher w/ Streetz</p><p>

He needs the win and he is higher on the card. I could see this ending in a DQ with the Sickle interfering.</p><p> </p><p>

PLUS! Appearance by Riley McManus, The Mission, and Logan Diaz!</p>

“I have done it again. In May, I became the World’s Heavyweight Champion a second time. This time, there was no screw job. This time, it was just The Cornerstone proving, once again, that I am in a league of my own. This wasn’t a fluke win. Nate DeMarcus is a hell of a competitor. An excellent wrestler. The pride of the Mid Atlantic area, but he found out that he was no match for the Cornerstone. I will defend this World Championship anywhere and everywhere --but only against elite talent. Only against the very best. If you’re not the best, you don’t get to step into the ring with me. It’s that simple.”. B.

Matty, “World Tag Team Champions. Best Tag Team in wrestling. That’s what the big man and I are. The very best. We proved that by beating the Ring Generals in March. We’ve been defending these belts ever since.”

Ranger, “And Matty, baby, we’re not going to stop. We’re going to Puerto Rico. We’re going to Mexico. New York. Baltimore. San Diego. The Mission is in demand, baby! And next month, we will be defending these Tag Team titles right here in the Oxford Arena!” C.

He looked himself up and down in the mirror. The locker room was empty. The building was empty. He was supposed to lock up again, but he hadn’t yet. Tonight, he had cut his first promo as World Champion. He was in his second reign -- but his first reign was a cup of coffee and was designed to transition the title to Edd Stone while setting up his short-lived feud with Marshall Dillon. This was supposed to be a real reign as World Champion. An opportunity to turn him into one of the most prominent wrestlers on the independent scene. He reveled in it. Tonight, he sat with Robert and watched Ernest Youngman lock Lassana Matuski in an Indian Deathlock and get the African Assassin to submit. Lassana was another casualty to Eric Eisen’s spending spree. It was a good match. Ernest could really go and Riley knew he and Ernest were destined to work together at some point. He also knew they could tear the house down.

He straightened his jacket. He had cut his promo in a suit. He wanted to look the part of a World Champion. Wanted to make people believe that he should be World Champion just from appearance alone. It also helped that he and Lisa were supposed to go to Pazanos. His favorite Italian restaurant in Denver. He exhaled. He had taken off the tie after the promo. He never liked the way they made him feel. Too restrictive. He was ready.

“Hey there, handsome.” Just her voice made him smile. He had to turn to see her, but there she was. His love, Lisa Bowen, was there. Ready for dinner.

“Hey gorgeous.” He replied and crossed the locker room to her. They hugged.

“You ready for dinner?” She asked.

He nodded. “Just need to grab my phone. Left it on the apron after cleaning up.”

He took her hand in his. Her hand was soft. Delicate. A complete lie on how she was as a person. Moisturizer could do that. Could mask the truth. Lisa wasn’t delicate. She was tough. The daughter of a wrestler. Grew up with her dad on the road a lot. Had to be tough to deal. The kids of wrestlers were always tough. They walked from the locker room to the ring and Lisa stopped.

He tried to tug her forward, but she wouldn’t budge. “What’s going on?” She asked. The ringside didn’t usually look like this. There were bouquets of flower. The lights had been filtered to look like moonlight. There were candles on the floor around the ring -- candles on the ring would be dangerous.

He didn’t respond. His thumb stroked the back of her hand. Riley had been around. He had always been a man who enjoyed the company of women. Had reveled in being a babyface in Mid Atlantic Wrestling and the attention that got him. He had never bragged about it. Never engaged in locker room talk, but he had enjoyed himself. Lisa had changed that. Lisa challenged him. She wasn’t interested in one night stands or flings or in being something that had happened one night after too much fermented grain. She had expectations. She had wanted phone calls and text messages and dinners and to go to the movies and to museums and to go ice skating and bowling. She wanted to go to concerts and have him meet her parents. She wanted to meet his parents and his childhood friends. She wanted to see the world with him. Not see the world by herself. Not just see the world. But see the world with him.

She encouraged him to read more. Encouraged him to journal. To write down his days. He could write a book one day, she had said. He wasn’t sure he believed her. At least not at first, but that didn’t matter. She believed in him -- and that mattered. When he won the World’s Title a second time -- she had surprised him with his favorite dessert. She had celebrated his success. Sure, it was a fixed sport. He knew he was going to win. But still. It was the crowning achievement. It was the respect of his peers. She celebrated him.

“Riley… What...is...going..on…?” She asked again. Each word carefully said. She was suspicious. She had a right to be. He stepped away from her and turned.

He swallowed hard. He had been planning this moment for quite some time. Planning on how to make it just right, but for it to be authentic. He didn’t want it to be a show in front of a bunch of people. He wanted it to be them. He wanted it to be in a place that mattered to them. Why not here? Where they had met. Where they had fallen in love. He reached into his pocket and dropped to a knee.

“Lisa. You have made me happier than I ever thought possible. You have filled my life with so much joy. I love you more than anything and I want to spend my life with you. Lisa… Will you marry me.”

He pulled the ringbox out of his pocket and opened it to show the ring he had bought for her. She blinked several times. Blinked back the wetness forming in her eyes. It took her a long moment.

“Yes. Yes, I will marry you.”

Aww isn’t that sweet. The heel world champion and the heel manager find true happiness. Now I’m just waiting for a Days of our Lives moment when someone like Venus Angeletti comes in and ruins it all by talking about that night in Baltimore several months ago.....

They got engaged in the game, so I had to write the narrative to explain it! Plus, I know how much DarK_RaideR and ReapeR love them some relationship narrative! There will be no Venus Angeletti.... in this one... ;)!

I might even call Joel. Just to see if the main idea I had would be well received. It would be something different from what we had been doing, but it would freshen up our RMW Live for sure.</p><p> </p><p> While mulling it offer, I logged on to TotalExtremeWrestling.com to see the Mid-Year awards.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45989" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><strong>Wrestler of the Year so Far</strong> - Joshua Taylor [uSPW]<p> <strong>Company of the Year So Far</strong> - SOTBW</p><p> <strong>Tag Team of the Year So Far</strong> - El Leon & Champagne Lover [sOTBW]</p><p> <strong>Match of the Year so Far</strong> - Champagne Lover def. I fully expected Yellow Flash to get picked up by OLLIE or SOTBW in the upcoming future. South of the Border continued to put on fantastic shows, but with OLLIE now being ranked as Cult and offering exclusive deals, they could be in for a big battle.</p><p> </p><p> Time would tell.</p>

RMW Live #30

Saturday, Week 2, July 2020

Live at the Oxford Arena, 7:30 PM Bell Time

Also Aired On Demand on the Rocky Mountain Sports Network

Main Event

Singles Match

Sixty Minute Time Limit

RMW Can-Am Championship

“The Troubadour” Floyd Reeves versus “The Headhunter” Jeffery Aroma ©

He just won it and needs to keep it. Plus this title reign I think will help build his aura up for the eventual "employer-bodyguard" feud and he will be your next DEISEL!! lol

Semi Main Event

Tag Team Match

Forty-Five Minute Time Limit

“The Sandman” Jules Night & Roland Eilers versus The Can-Am Blondes

Two rookies vs the vets I think the vets will go over to help train up the new comers, kind of like Joel did before

Special Attraction

Eight Man Tag

Forty-Five Minute Time Limit

Alexander Vasquez, Bradley D, Long Morris, & Dale Kingman versus Hammer Hadley, Steven Stewart, Taylor Holemore, and Ryuzaburo Nakanashi

Hammer Hadley's render is awesome so he gets the win lol

Opening Match

Singles Match

Twenty-Five Minute Time Limit

Kurt Cummo versus “Relentless” Wesley Browning

He is "relentless" how can he lose? lol
