Jaysin
Just started Seven Deadly Sins from the beginning so I can refresh my memory before starting the new season. I think I'm going to watch Sword Art Online next. I can't wait for another season of Drifters. Was such a fun concept and had great action. K-Nection
I literately just finished Dragon Ball Super today! I'm about 2 episodes into the new season of Seven Deadly Sins but that is a show I can only watch when my wife and I have aligned our schedules perfectly. Also about 3 episodes into season 2 of Overlord (highly recommend) I like SAO but given my age my brain keeps screaming at me "THIS IS A .HACK RIP OFF" and it hinders my ability to enjoy it as much as I want to. K-Nection
Minor annoyance: Why do so many anime have scenes AFTER the credits? It's so annoying. IKR we watched half of the first season of Seven Deadly Sins before we realized that they were having scenes after the credits. When they started referencing some of those moments my misses and I were had a collective WTF.
Jaysin
I forgot how good Seven Deadly Sins is. When Ban and Meliodas destroy the prison while arm wrestling, I about died when Sir Golgious shouts “strategic withdrawal!” and just abanadons his troops. Also, Ban meeting Hawk was hysterical. The end credits song is super catchy

BTW how did you stomach GT? I couldn't do it at all. Well the first half of GT is good anyway. With kid Goku, and Pan, and Trunks adventuring it was almost like the original Dragon Ball again. Once it got to the fights with the dragons, it was crappy.

The original Dragon Ball never resonated with me too much as I didn't even watch it until a few years ago. Also the character growth of Vegeta is awful. I hated the fact that he needs Bulma to achieve SSJ4.

In Super everything Goku achieves is done by accident while Vegeta works his but off and passes him occasionally. The way it is looking is GT is not going to be on this timeline (which I'm fine with as these god characters and multiple universes is way more interesting IMO).

I say watch the movies and see if it is gelling with you.
Jaysin
If you had a gun to your head and were told to name your top 10 anime that fans of the genre NEED to watch before they die, what would your 10 be? No honorable mentions, just 10! I'll post mine after some more people chime in.

KeyserSoze
I've finished 7 deadly sins recently... I enjoyed it ... a lot. Nothing groundbreaking, but hell, the characters are well done and the action/humor is super

Rone Rivendale
I've been watching One Piece in the original Japanese with subtitles. I've seen all the way to mid-Crocodile Arc before in English. But I want to watch it all in Japanese to see it uncensored. There's a lot of differences between the two.
