What had happened? How had it happened so fast? Why did he have a weapon? Why did another innocent person have to die? </p><p> The questions lingered as they started for home. Would they get the answers they sought? Or would the dawn bring more unanswered ones? </p><p> </p><p> The final beams of light disappeared as complete darkness fell upon the town. </p><p> _______________________________________________________________</p><p> He was feeling unsure as he hurried to get everything ready. He had a silent anticipation about tonight. Would this be the night he would finally show his worth? Only time would tell.... </p><p> _________________________________________________________________</p><p> He got his gear together. He had a good idea where he would find who he was looking for. He hesitated for just a moment. He couldn't tell if he was starting to feel bad or if it was just in his head. He made his way up the sidewalk. He was like a cat. He peered into the window and could see and hear the tv on.</p><p> </p><p> What he didn't see or hear was the man flash out of nowhere and grab him from behind in a choke lock and in a matter of seconds he was out. He slumped to the ground.</p><p> The man dressed in dark clothing reached down and picked the motionless body up and threw him over his shoulder. He walked out to the road where the garbage cans sat and propped him up against one of them. And then turned and disappeared in the darkness somewhere between there and the house. </p><p> _______________________________________________________________</p><p> He had seen him walk by following a ways behind another man. He quickly paid and left to follow. He didn't have to go far as he stood at the corner of a nearby building. He put his head down and walked right towards him. The man was looking the other way when he bumped into him.</p><p> "<span style="color:#0000FF;">Oh my gracious, excuse me sir. I really must pay attention to where I am walking</span>."</p><p> </p><p> "<span style="color:#008000;">It's okay. Don't make a big fuss.
