Tomato Can Posted November 22, 2018 Share Posted November 22, 2018 The year is 1988 From a previous poll that I posted, I was encouraged to turn Flair face and have him leave The Horsemen and I agree. This will leave The Horsemen with Arn, Tully and Luger. I need to not only replace Flair but replace him with a true leader who will be in the World Title picture. These are my options: Let Luger become the leader and add a new member Let Arn become the leader and add a new member Let Tully become the leader and add a new member Add Rick Rude as new member and leader Add Curt Hennig as new member and leader Add Sting as new member and leader Add Barry Windham as new member and leader Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
smmccallum Posted November 22, 2018 Share Posted November 22, 2018 I would definitely make Arn the leader and the man to face off against Flair. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ink625 Posted November 22, 2018 Share Posted November 22, 2018
I would add Rude as a new member and leader.

Eventually, Arn Anderson takes exception to the entire thing and turns face, teaming with Flair to battle the Horsemen. Curt Hennig is named as the newest member taking the place of Anderson.

After costing the group a few big matches, or whatever you want to do to create conflict, Tully is kicked out by Rude, Luger and Hennig and Sid is brought in to replace him. Then Rude, declaring the Horsemen a thing of the past, renames the group the Dangerous Alliance. ***I'd probably use a different name, but this just gives you an idea of what I'm going for here.

Flair then "brings back" the Horsemen, adding Sting as the 4th and final member to feud with Rude's group.

So you eventually end up with the stables of:

Dangerous Alliance(or whatever):

Rick Rude(leader)

Lex Luger

Curt Hennig

Sid

New Four Horsemen

Flair (leader)

Sting

Anderson

Blanchard

Personally, I'd probably drop Tully from the new Horsemen eventually, since I really don't like him as a face.
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
