Mootinie
Dolph Ziggler's brother is terrible. Everything about him is just a very poor imitation of his brother. Hahaha, my thoughts exactly. Jungle Boy vs. Dax Harwood rocked.

milamber
This week’s AEW Dynamite match between Dax Harwood and Jungle Boy was reportedly put together by Harwood. As noted, there were people within AEW who were really looking forward to seeing the match air on Dynamite. The match featured Cash Wheeler and Tully Blanchard at ringside handcuffed to Luchasaurus, to prevent outside interference. Marko Stunt was selling the recent attack by FTR with his arm taped up. Jungle Boy ended up winning Wednesday’s match, forcing Harwood to tap out to the Snare Trap. In an update, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Harwood is who put together the angle and presented it to AEW President & General Manager Tony Khan. Harwood’s goal with the angle was to make Jungle Boy come out of the match as a superstar babyface. It was noted that everyone in AEW knows how Jungle Boy is a great athlete because of what he can do in the ring, but now the key is for him to take beatings and make comebacks in a fight-like situation. The idea here was that Jungle Boy didn’t just get a cradle win, but that he made Harwood, who had not lost a fall in AEW until this week, submit in the finish. If true, then hats off to Harwood is a professional & someone who sees the 'bigger picture' (taking the loss in which to potentially build a new babyface star). I was never much of a Jungle Boy fan, to be honest. That said, this match, and how it went about, won me over. I'm growing to really love the trio. I just wish Luchasaurus could have more of a 'mean streak', if you will. He's got a great look and could be a wonderful powerhouse character. Jaysin
EV, did you see Jungle Boy's match with MJF from Double or Nothing? It was quite good. I think in a few years, maybe sooner, that Jungle Boy will be feuding with MJF for the world title.
legendaryhorseman
I, for one, think that the future of AEW is in good hands. You've got guys like Jungle Boy, MJF, Ricky Starks, Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin, and others that will constantly put in the work, each and every night. And most of them, correct me if I'm wrong, had their first real TV exposure with AEW. How crazy is that?

This is my fantasy title progression: Darby > Ricky > Jungle Boy > Sammy or Darby > Ricky > Babyface Sammy > Jungle Boy or Darby > Sammy > Jungle Boy > Ricky

He really could be something if handled correctly.

And most of them, correct me if I'm wrong, had their first real TV exposure with AEW. How crazy is that? MJF and Sammy both had pretty decent exposure in MLW given the slot on BeIn Sports. But to your point, AEW is the first run for both of them on a channel that would be part of basic cable and therefore a lot more visible to the average bear. Also it can be fairly noted that of the two only MJF was in his current form while in MLW. That Sammy was mostly an afterthought there and that his current persona is fully an AEW creation. And in MJF's case, we've all seen companies over the years that have balked at rolling with someone else's ball. Not just the one in Connecticut as readily as they come to mind. But AEW has done an excellent job at building on MLW's foundation where Max is concerned. Some promoters have trouble recognizing when they have a pre-made gold mine and cashing it in. Thankfully AEW recognized that MJF is one and have just let him be.
Peppermint Rage
Honestly I think MJF is super overrated, Don't get me wrong, he's very good, but not the godsend people seem to see him as. He pretty much just does the same old school weaselly heel schtick very well, but it's still the same old weaselly heel schtick, I find it hard to see anything unique about him. I think he's good, and will likely be great in the future, but he's not there yet.

milamber
<p>- Tag Battle Royale was fun. Right winners, IMO. It's too early to pull the trigger on a Bullet Club split. I love Tarzan Boy but it shouldn't replace their tag theme.</p><p> - If Jade works as hard in wrestling training as she does in the gym she could be a future star. I enjoyed Sting's promo.</p><p> - Dr. Britt vs Rosa was good.</p><p> - Page & Hardy vs Chaos Project was solid. Hardy stealing the pin lol.</p><p> - The Women's Tournament is shaping up to be awesome. I'm happy they added some new faces, especially Itoh, Suruga and Veny.</p><p> - The wedding was a mix of sweet, creepy and entertaining. I laughed at Miro referencing his past on-screen weddings.</p><p> - Kingston vs Archer was great. I loved how invovled the lumberjacks were.</p><p> - Bullet Club vs Mox, PAC & Fenix was my MOTN. Kenta! The forbidden door is open.</p>
Jaysin
Someone on Facebook said something that really resonated with me. It's not the Bullet Club that's making me excited, it's the fact that AEW is now working with New Japan, not to mention their working agreements with other promotions. End of Dynamite gave me chills. Yeah, I totally didn't see that coming. AEW Dynamite has given me many surprise moments since it started. I still watch WWE occasionally, but find it far too formulaic and predictable in comparison (excluding NXT).

Fantasy booking as we all do, who are you guys thinking would be the best challenger from the AEW roster to the one and only... Future Ace of New Japan, Time Bomb, Hiromu Takahashi? Mootinie
When I see Rey Fenix in the kind of form he was in on the last episode of Dynamite I genuinely start to believe he is the best wrestler on the planet.
