During the weigh-ins for tonight's event, it was announced that at UFC Guts and Glory 6, the main event will be Daniel Cormier vs Derrick Lewis for the UFC Heavyweight Championship. In the co-main event, Diego Sanchez will fight Court McGee in a welterweight bout.</p>

In a press conference, it was officially announced that former Invicta FC Champion Zarah Fairn Dos Santos has signed with UFC and will make her debut at UFC Fight Night on Saturday Week 4 June 2019 as she will take on Cris Cyborg for the UFC Women's Featherweight Championship. The co-main event will feature Neil Magny vs Ben Askren.</p><p> </p><p>

UFC also confirmed they're in talks with King Mo and Yeva Lepechin to join the organization.</p>

It was announced today that Amanda Nunes' next title defense will be on Saturday, Week 1 July 2019 as she'll defend her UFC Women's Bantamweight Championship against #1 contender Holly Holm. In the co-main event, Conor McGregor will take on Rustam Khabilov in a Lightweight bout.</p>

Following the mandatory post-fight drug test, it was discovered that Lina Länsberg, who had defeated Jessica Eye in the prelims tested positive for PEDs and therefore, has been suspended for 1 year. Länsberg has immediately apologized for her drug test and promised to return next year clean and better than she ever was.</p>

UFC announced today that due to injury, Robert Whittaker is out of his main event fight on UFC Guts and Glory 5 against Jacare Souza. However, Israel Adesanya, coming off an impressive victory over Luke Rockhold by TKO at UFC Guts and Glory 3, will step up and will now face Jacare Souza in what will now be the co-main event of the card. The main event will be Dominick Cruz vs Aljamain Sterling.</p>

It was announced today that UFC 231 will take place in Las Vegas on Saturday Week 4 July 2019 with the main event being Tyron Woodley defending the UFC Welterweight Championship against Georges St-Pierre. Also announced today, Valérie Létourneau has signed a new contract with UFC, marking her return to the company after a stint with Bellator. She hadn't been seen in the company since her loss to Joanna Jedrjeczjyk for the UFC Women's Strawweight title. UFC is said to also have offered contracts to Lilith Guild, Honey Nangle and River Davis to bolster their Women's Bantamweight division.</p>

It's been confirmed that UFC 232 will take place on Saturday Week 1 August 2019 in New York with the main event being Max Holloway defending the UFC Featherweight Championship against Renato "Moicano" Carneiro. The co-main event will feature Demian Maia vs Stephen Thompson in a Welterweight Bout. This will also mark the return of Valérie Létourneau as she'll fight Roxanne Modaferri in the opening bout of the main card.</p>

During the weigh-ins for UFC Fight Night: Cyborg vs Dos Santos, it was announced that due to injury during the final days of his training camp, Ben Askren couldn't fight Neil Magny and therefore, the fight has been canceled. Also, two fighters failed to make weight: Bryan Caraway and Ashley Yoder. Therefore, their fights will be made as a catchweight bout.</p><p> </p><p>

Carla Esparza vs Jessica Andrade has been moved to the co-main slot while Kai-Kara France vs Ray Borg has been moved to the main card.</p><p> </p><p>

Also announced, Demetrius Johnson is back in UFC and will have his first official bout back as the feature bout of the UFC 234 Prelims.</p>
