NEW PROMOTION ALERT: SUB PRO

"The newest promotion to come out of the American North West, SUB Pro - apparently standing for Seattle Underground Battle Pro so we can understand why the promoter has kept it to SUB Pro - promises to deliver a modern style of wrestling to the masses. What exactly this means is lost to us here at TEW.com but we'll do our best to figure it out.

 

Taking the ambitious step of releasing a full year's schedule (which we've included below for all you intrepid wrestling fans out there) without even announcing a roster, it could be an interesting year in the North West. We'll update with more information as and when we get it."

"Hello and welcome viewers, my name is Mya and it's very nice to meet you. SUB Pro management have brought me in to be their official video host. If you're here, you've ever seen the hype and rumours or you're incredibly lost. Either way, we're here to have some fun and it's my job to bring you up to speed before we kick off at Alive With The Glory of Graps."</p><p> </p><p>

The feed breaks up and switches at this to a lone male pacing back and forth, snapping to attention as the feed settles.</p><p> </p><p>

Laughing maniacally as he wanders out of frame, the man who demands only to be called THE ARCHITECT (all caps) will be at Alive With The Glory of Graps, tickets available now!</p><p> </p><p>

Without too much delay, the video shifts to a wrestling school. Three men are visible, two men in the middle of sparring session whilst a larger man stands on the outside who makes the presence of the camera known. The sparring stops and the trio fall into formation.</p><p> </p><p>

"There is a problem with wrestling these days. Too many kids interested in flips and being a passing trend. No one is interested in the basics, the fundamentals of our sport any more. My name is <strong>Richard Douglas Turner</strong> and these two men beside me are <strong>Deuce </strong>and <strong>Jonah</strong>. It is our mission to bring wrestling back to its roots and we start in Seattle. Seattle Underground Battle Pro? That name alone is a disgrace, a spit in the face of those who came before it."</p><p> </p><p>

Jonah taps Richard on the shoulder and whispers in his ear. Richard steps back and lets Jonah have the floor.</p><p> </p><p>

"I started my wrestling career in the birthplace of icons. The Piledriver School of Wrestling. </p><p> </p><p>

Except I didn't learn a damned thing. So I made the pilgrimage to Stanley Hall to join the Mid Atlantic Boot Camp. That's where I met Richard, a man who took the time to take me under his wing and it's time I repaid his faith."</p><p> </p><p>

Richard nods in the background, Deuce cracks his knuckles to indicate that it's time up for this portion of the video.</p><p> </p><p>

Mya Catalan's face lights up the screen - not without a look of confusion and annoyance however.</p><p> </p><p>

...Oh hey! Those, uh, lovely gentlemen are just some of the wrestlers that will be making their way to Seattle for Alive With The Glory of Graps but the fun doesn't stop there as I've heard from SUB Pro Management who have confirmed that Mexican wrestling darlings <strong>Junior Youth</strong> & <strong>Rebelde Loco</strong> will be bringing the Los Heartbreakers Reunion Tour to the USA! I've not been able to get any word on who they'll be facing but as soon as I've got names, you'll be the first to know!</p><p> </p><p>
