APW: Australian Uprising

Week 1, April 2015.

It's been more than a year since James J McMinister handed the company over to a mysterious masked man. A lot has changed in these 16 months. The promotion is officially cult sized and has set up a developmental promotion dubbed Young Bucks Development Territory that aims to help Australian talent reach their maximum potential. The promotion has also won the End Of Year Award for fastest growing company.

However, this is only the beginning. This masked man has bigger plans for the company. Serving as the owner and head booker of Australia Pro Wrestling, he aims to topple the current top dog in Australia, RAW. He sees the 'Wrestling Soap Opera' style of the company as a disgrace to the industry and vows to make his 'Australian Wrestling' product the best wrestling promotion in the continent.

APW Development, FULL:https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1FmxBtAjPofIi8k9BSYN7hKhVJwn28AfJBcDg8W99bGU/edit?usp=sharing

The cream of the crop in APW include big names, such as

'Showstopper' Stan Standish

This man is the best talker in the company by a long shot. His unparalleled charisma and ability on the mic make him a talent that rivals those on RAW. In addition, his ability in the ring is not anything to scoff at either. Stan Standish is a natural heel and his work on the mic and in the ring make him the primary heel in the company.

'Franchise' Alexander Banks

Stan Standish's former tag team partner is one of the top babyfaces in APW. Banks' mic skills are on point, albeit not on the level of his partner, and he has a natural charisma that is hard to comprehend. Banks is undoubtedly one of the best in ring workers, his skills are superior to even his former tag partner, Stan.

Nathan McKenzie

McKenzie is single most intimidating wrestler in the company. His menacing glare and immense size has his opponents quaking in their boots. Despite his frame, McKenzie is an agile in ring worker. Pairing that agility with his extraordinary strength and you get one tough SOB and a fantastic main event superstar that the fans absolutely can't wait to see.

Alyx Macquarie

Involved in a major feud with 'Franchise' Alexander Banks, one that has produced many high quality matches, Alyx Macquarie is the only man that rivals Banks is the ring. His high flying offense and technical ability makes for quite a combination, one that has solidified his position on the roster.

Maurice Jackson

Maurice Jackson is currently in a feud with Stan Standish, trading stiff blows on the mic as well as in the ring. Maurice is a naturally gifted wrestler and a very hard working individual. However, Maurice really shines when he is on the mic. He has a truckload of charisma and a solid set of mic skills that make him look right at home on the top of the card.

Dogs Of War

A part of the cult-like stable, Hounds Of Hades, with the Australian champion, Kerbecs as their leader, the tag team of 'Chaos' Donovan Boon and 'Corrupt' Rusty Mills is the quintessential tag team in APW. The current APW Tag Team champions have been a tag team for the better part of 8 years. Impressive technical ability in the ring and an excellent mouthpiece in Kerbecs make the tag team a fixture on the top of the card.

Cole Taylor

Cole Taylor is the complete package. He has all the traits of a main eventer and his the current Commonwealth title holder. Cole is a part of a high caliber

rivalry with Nathan McKenzie, a rivalry that has seen the most brutal action on the card. Cole made a defection from APW to RAW at the summer of 2013 but was brought back only a year later in July of 2014. He has since reconciled with the others in the locker room and is once again a top heel in APW.

Other defections include Echo, Quiz Master, Frogue Element, Monday Next and a tag team dubbed The Next Big Things. All of which are former RAW wrestlers who wanted to be a part of the fastest growing Australian wrestling company.

The promotion has also brought in other notable names, such as Kerbecs, formerly known as Necromancer, two tag teams in Apocalypse and The Sky Kings, Devilfish, as well as SubUrban Legend.

These signings show the ambition that the current owner has for the company, as well as his strong focus on improving the tag division.

Under this new administration, APW has also managed to sign a PPV deal with 1Choice TV and a TV contract with Australia Channel 3. The promotion airs its weekly TV tapings on Wednesdays. The PPVs are hosted on the last Saturday of each month. The two major PPVs, SuperBrawl and Winter Rumble are held at the end of January and June respectively.

With an ambitious owner and head booker, as well as a impressive roster, APW will look to not only conquer Australia, but also the rest of the world in years to come.

<strong><span style="font-size:18px;">APW Clash. Wednesday, Week 1, April 2015</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Welcome to APW: Clash, the premier wrestling TV, focused around wrestling, unlike that soap opera mess of a show, RAW Attitude. I am your favourite colour commentator, Frank Mucciolo and I am joined here tonight, by my deadbeat commentary partner, Dale Young. Tonight, we are going to have a show filled with action. On the card tonight will be a bout featuring Cole Taylor and Nathan McKenzie for the Commonwealth title. That match will be one to remember as McKenzie will look to take the Commonwealth title from the man that he feels doubted his wrestling ability. The 140 kilo beast has to be the favourite going into this match as he has two wins over the champion. However, Cole is not one to be taken lightly as he has proven that he is capable of pulling a win out of the bag in a matter of seconds with his devastating finisher. The Tailor-Made kick to the temple has won him multiple big matches before, will that move be the one to take down the monster? We will also be having a tag team match that decides the number one contender for the tag titles held by the Dogs Of War. This match will be between The Rising Suns and DevilShark, two ruthless tag teams that are looking to dethrone the champions. Speaking of champions, Kerbecs, who is the Australian champion will be involved in a fatal four way against Stan Standish, Maurice Jackson and SubUrban Legend to determine the number one contender for his title. Alright, enough talk, out comes the competitors for our show opening match.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Damian Dudley is a product the APW Dojo and definitely one for the future, he gets the win tonight against tough opposition.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Maurice Jackson talks about Stan Standish and his trash talk. Jackson wants to shut Standish up and cannot wait for their match later on the card.</strong></p><p>

Rating: B (78)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In an extremely short match, The Apocalypse defeated The Sky Kings in 3:57 when Hatemonger defeated Super Zero by pinfall with a Doomsday.</strong></p><p>

<em>SubUrban Legend came out of this match looking strong, having pinned the champion to become number one contender. Jackson and Standish were too focused on destroying each other that they effectively eliminated each other from the match.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Standish attacked Jackson as he walked to the back, dropping Jackson on his head with his finisher, the Package Piledriver.</strong></p><p>

<strong>In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, DevilShark drew with The Rising Suns in 15:42; the match ended in a double count out.</strong></p><p>

<strong>In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Legacy defeated The Next Big Things in 9:10 when Ahmed Johnson defeated Nicky Gilbert by pinfall with a Maniac Side-Slam.</strong></p><p>

Rating: B- (75)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>A bold move by Mr James, our General Manager to put this match so high up the card. The cocky young upstarts from the APW Dojo, Legacy, did well in picking up a win against a prolific tag team, formerly from RAW. The two teams had a good performance that justified the match's place on the card </em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Legacy gloat about the win after The Next Big Things headed backstage.</strong></p><p>

Rating: C+ (67)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>These young men sure do think very highly of themselves. I believe there is more to come from this rookie tag team.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, Alyx Macquarie defeated 'Franchise' Alexander Banks in 16:21 by pinfall with a Super Kick.</strong></p><p>

Rating: B (77)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>That, folks, was our main event. A technical masterclass with high flying maneuvers between two solid in ring performers. A match deserving of the main event.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Alyx helps Banks up before Superkicking him.</strong></p><p>

Rating: B (77)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>What a good show of sportsmanship, I was not expecting this between these two bitter rivals... Oh my god! Alyx nailed Banks with a Super Kick! Despicable! Blatant disrespect from the winner of the match. This rivalry is far from over. </em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Banks gets up slowly before challenging Alyx next week. Alyx stands at the top of the ramp but doesn't say a word.</strong></p><p>

<strong><span style="font-size:18px;">APW: Clash. Wednesday, Week 2, April 2015</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Welcome to APW: Clash! I'm your favourite colour commentator, Frank Mucciolo, this is my partner Dale Young and we are the voices of APW. The match card for tonight's show is stacked with great matches. Our main event will be the tag team match between the number one contenders for the APW Tag Team titles against the current tag team champions. A little sneak peek to their April PPV match which will be for those tag team titles. I can't wait for that main event! Leading up to that main event, we have a huge Fatal 4 Way Tag Team Elimination match between four young tag teams looking to prove themselves to the world. The Australian title will also be defended on tonight's show by he champion, Kerbecs. He will be facing his toughest title challenge yet, Stan Standish. His rival will be involved in a match later on the show against the Man-Beast that is Nathan McKenzie. McKenzie is an immensely talented athlete and a freakishly strong opponent. I don't see the young up-and-comer getting much offence against McKenzie and I certainly do not see him pulling off an upset. After that match, we will see a rematch of last week's main event between the bitter rivals, Alyx Macquarie and Alexander Banks. These two tore the house down last week and Alyx came out victorious. He then proceeded to superkick Banks and left Banks sprawled out on the mat as he left the ring. Banks must be incensed at Alyx's actions and will be looking to get revenge. Oh! Damian Dudley is making his entrance for the show opening match.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In an extremely short match, Damian Dudley and Frogue Element defeated Angel Of Death and N.E.X.T. in 4:26 when Damian Dudley defeated Angel Of Death by pinfall with an Ancient Savate Kick following interference from Dustin Lopez.</strong></p><p>

Rating: C- (56)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Frogue and Angel both on the mat. Frogue's looking for the hot tag, so is Angel. Who's that?! Dale! That's Dustin Lopez from developmental! He pulled N.E.X.T. off the apron! Frogue gets the tag... Ancient Savate Kick! Damian wins! </em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Dustin Lopez celebrates with Frogue Element and Damian Dudley.</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Is Dustin Lopez aligning himself with Damian Dudley?</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, The Next Big Things defeated Legacy, The Apocalypse and The Sky Kings in 11:55; the order of elimination was The Sky Kings first, then Legacy, and finally The Apocalypse.</strong></p><p>

Rating: B (77)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>The Next Big Things win! What a match! These four tag teams really exceeded expectations here. The crowd are cheering all eight men.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In an extremely short match, Echo defeated Christopher Gerard in 4:52 by pinfall with a Sound Blaster.</strong></p><p>

<strong>In an extremely short match, Harry Simonson defeated Quiz Master in 4:17 by pinfall.</strong></p><p>

Rating: C+ (71)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>SubUrban Legend clocked Stan Standish with the Australian title on accident, behind the referee's back! He helped his rival, Kerbecs, retain his Australian title!</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>SubUrban Legend assaults Kerbecs with the Australian title. Stan Standish superkicks SubUrban Legend before leaving the ring, obviously flustered by what happened.</strong></p><p>

Rating: B (79)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>SubUrban Legend is using Kerbecs' title to beat Kerbecs down. Stan Standish superkicks SubUrban Legend!! Stan Standish is shaking his head as he walks to the back. </em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In an extremely short match, SubUrban Legend defeated Nathan McKenzie in 5:27 by pinfall with a Legend Killer after a distraction from Cole Taylor. During the match we also had Cole Taylor distract Big Mac.</strong></p><p>

Rating: B- (76)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Cole is at ringside, distracting his rival, McKenzie. SubUrban Legend is getting up to his feet... hurricanrana! Legend Killer! It's over! <strong>Cole continues to beat down McKenzie, with the intent of injuring the big man, before Banks rushes to McKenzie's aid.</strong></p><p>

Rating: B (79)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>This is disgusting. This is uncalled for. Why? Cole is trying to hospitalize McKenzie with chair shot after chair shot to the sternum. Alexander Banks! Banks chases Cole out of the ring! Thank god for Alexander Banks, or McKenzie would have been in deep trouble.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In a bout that featured great action and average heat, 'Franchise' Alexander Banks defeated Alyx Macquarie in 16:09 by pinfall with a Super Kick.</strong></p><p>

<em>Banks is calling for Alyx to get up to his feet... superkick! Banks hit the superkick! He wins! He beat Alyx with his own move! </em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Banks offers a handshake to Alyx, Alyx snubs it and leaves the ring. Banks looks offended.</strong></p><p>

Rating: B- (74)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Banks showing sportsmanship, offering that handshake. Come on, Alyx, just shake his hand. Alyx is leaving the ring.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>In a bout that featured great action and average heat, DevilShark defeated Dogs Of War in 16:30 when Devilfish defeated 'Chaos' Donovan Boon by pinfall with a Sharknado.</strong></p><p>

Rating: B (82)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>DevilShark is keeping Boon in their corner, good strategy from the number one contenders. Boon is isolated. Lone Shark tags in his partner. Sharknado! The tag team finisher of DevilShark! The number one contenders making a statement by beating the champions!</em></p><p> </p><p>

<p>APW: Clash Preview</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Damian Dudley vs Angel Of Death</strong></p><p>

A rematch between two participants in the opening match last week. Damian Dudley looks to defeat Angel Of Death for the second time and, with an ally in his corner, he certainly has the advantage going into the match. However, Angel Of Death is not one to be overlooked, having won the APW developmental territory's main belt during his time in developmental.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Apocalypse vs Legacy</strong> </p><p>

Two of the teams involved in a match of the night contender on last week's show face off yet again. Apocalypse, the team of Warmonger and Hatemonger, had a great showing last week but ultimately fell short as they lost the match to the team of Nicky Gilbert and Rod Sullivan. Apocalypse look to beat the less experienced team, Legacy, and get right back on track. Legacy, despite being eliminated second, have shown that they are a formidable unit who are not to be messed with. They have a win over The Next Big Things, the winner of last week's Fatal 4 Way match. Having been tag team partners during their time in developmental, they certainly can function well as a tag team. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Echo and Quiz Master vs Christopher Gerard</strong></p><p>

After the assault last week, Harry Simonsen has suffered a concussion and has not been cleared to compete by doctors. Thus, Christopher Gerard goes into this match alone. The team of Echo and Quiz Master, although untested, seem to be a solid unit that are on the same page. Gerard has the odds firmly stacked against him in this match.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Stan Standish vs SubUrban Legend</strong></p><p>

SubUrban Legend cost Stan Standish his shot at Kerbecs' title, albeit unintentionally. Stan Standish looked livid as he headed to the back last week and this match between them seemed inevitable. SubUrban Legend was one of the many wrestlers brought into APW from ZEN. He was brought in as a young, inexperienced rookie with huge potential, much like the current batch of developmental call ups. He has since flourished into a solid midcard act and is currently one of the top contenders for Kerbecs' Australian</p><p>

title. However, Stan Standish is the golden standard in APW and SubUrban Legend will struggle to beat the more experienced superstar, Standish.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Alyx Macquarie and Alexander Banks vs The Rising Suns</strong></p><p>

Alyx and Banks are at heads with each other and have shown no remorse to one another in their previous matches. The two just do not get along. But, they will have to if they want to beat the team of Jimmy Stratosphere and Motty Kuroda. The Rising Suns have been working as a tag team for 8 years and know each other inside out. They have also proved to be excellent tag team, having two reigns with the Tag Team belts. The two main event superstars will have to put their hatred for each other aside and work as a team if they want to defeat their opponents.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Cole and DevilShark vs Kerbecs and Dogs Of War</strong></p><p>

The main event of APW: Clash will not only be a rematch between the tag champions and the number one contenders for the belt, but also a clash between the Australian and Commonwealth champions. Kerbecs and Dogs Of War make up the stable, Hounds Of Hades, and will have the advantage of having experience teaming with one another. The three men have great chemistry and will, no doubt, be executing fantastic tag team maneuvers. Cole is the Commonwealth champion and the top guy in APW and he is teaming with DevilShark, the number one contenders for the tag belts. This team, despite not having previously worked with one another, looks to be just as formidable as Hounds Of Hades. This match is sure to be a fantastic main event. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<em>Predictions are very welcome</em></p>

<strong>The Next Big Things vs The Sky Kings</strong></p><p>

The Next Big Things, Nicky Gilbert and Rod Sullivan are one of the hottest tag team acts in APW at the moment and will look for a win against Vertigo and Super Zero to keep their momentum strong, heading towards Beachfront Beatdown. Vertigo and Super Zero are a strong tag team but they do not have much momentum with them. It is hard to see anything but a victory for The Next Big Things who will be facing Legacy at the upcoming PPV.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Echo and Quiz Master vs Christopher Gerard and Harry Simonsen</strong></p><p>

Echo and Quiz Master have been trying to stop Gerard and Simonsen from competing at Beachfront Beatdown by ruthlessly attacking them after grueling matches. However, they have been largely unsuccessful. The two men will go head to head with Gerard and Simonsen, who will definitely be looking to get their own back at the despicable bad guys.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Maurice Jackson vs SubUrban Legend</strong></p><p>

Maurice Jackson has a dream match with Stan Standish on Saturday, a Beachfront Beatdown but will have to compete tonight against a motivated SubUrban Legend. Having lost to Stan Standish on last week's show, SubUrban Legend will be looking to beat the established star to build some momentum. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Australian Title Match: Kerbecs © vs Stan Standish</strong></p><p>

Kerbecs is the current Australian champion. This rematch between Stan Standish and Kerbecs will be for that title. Stan Standish lost to Kerbecs after a botched interference from Suburban Legend and will be looking to beat the champion and win the Australian title in this match. Kerbecs has held the title for 6 months and has defended it 16 times. He will be looking to make his 17th title defense in this match against one of the biggest superstars in the company.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Cole Taylor vs Nathan McKenzie</strong></p><p>

This match is Cole Taylor's worst nightmare. Cole defeated McKenzie with a Tailor-Made kick two weeks back and will have to face the monstrous man again. McKenzie will be sure to look out for that kick and not allow Cole to defeat him again. Cole Taylor and Nathan McKenzie have a heated rivalry between them that stems from their time together as a stable. Cole would interfere in McKenzie's matches and distract the referee of McKenzie's opponents to ensure that McKenzie wins. McKenzie saw this as Cole thinking he was not good enough to win matches by himself and told Cole to stop. Cole continued to interfere in his matches. McKenzie was gaining steam and was given a match to become the number one contender for the Commonwealth title. In that match, Cole clocked McKenzie with his title belt and cost McKenzie the match and the chance to become number one contender for Cole's Commonwealth title. McKenzie assaulted Cole backstage on TV the following Wednesday. This marked the start of their rivalry. Cole will have to go one on one again with the monster at the Beachfront Beatdown PPV for the Commonwealth title.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Dogs Of War vs The Rising Suns</strong></p><p>

At Beachfront Beatdown on Saturday, Dogs Of War will be defending their tag team titles against the number one contenders, DevilShark. A win against the number two contenders would be ideal as they head towards the PPV with a win and huge amounts of momentum. The Rising Suns are no pushovers but this match against the tag champions is undoubtedly going to be very tough.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Apocalypse vs Legacy vs Alyx Macquarie and Alexander Banks</strong></p><p>

Alyx and Banks will have to work together again in order to win against two great tag teams with a lot of momentum. Banks and Alyx worked well together last week but attacked each other after the match. Who knows whether they can work as a unit again? Legacy and Apocalypse put up an entertaining match last week, with Legacy picking up the win. The rookies, Ahmed Johnson and Marcus Walker, would love to pick up another win, this time against two of the biggest stars in the company. Apocalypse, on the other hand, need a win to get right back on track after their loss last week.</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Predictions are very welcome</em></p>

<p>APW: Clash</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="font-size:18px;">APW: Clash. Wednesday, Week 4, April 2015</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>This is the show before Beachfront Breakdown! Welcome to APW: Clash! I am Frank Mucciolo, this is Dale Young, we will be calling the action tonight. What a show this is going to be! In our main event, Alyx and Banks will be teaming up, once again, to face Legacy and Apocalypse. Banks and Alyx worked together during the match but attacked each other after the fact last week. These two are obviously at each other's throats and we will see whether they can function as a unit again later tonight. If they don't work together, we could very well see another win for Legacy, which would help boost their momentum through the roof. We cannot count out Apocalypse either. The two burly big men will want a win very badly tonight, after losing to Legacy on last week's show. The Australian title will be defended on tonight's show, with Stan Standish getting a rematch for the belt after SubUrban Legend cost him the win a few weeks ago. Another big match is one that features the current Commonwealth champion, Cole Taylor. He will be facing Nathan McKenzie, who is his bitter rival and the man that challenges him for his belt on Saturday. Cole beat McKenzie and defended his title a few weeks back when he hit the Tailor-Made kick that knocked McKenzie out cold. McKenzie will have to be wary of that devastating maneuver in tonight's match as well as Saturday's title challenge. Without further ado, let's get right into the action.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<p>APW: Beachfront Breakdown Preview</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Damian Dudley vs Angel Of Death</strong></p><p>

Damian Dudley will open the show against the Angel Of Death. Dudley will have Dustin Lopez in his corner and will be looking at a win to boost his momentum. He has been doing well since his debut on the main roster after a spell in developmental. Angel Of Death has not won a single match in April and will be looking for a big win. Both competitors will be making their first appearance on an APW PPV.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Frogue Element vs N.E.X.T.</strong></p><p>

The two ex-RAW superstars will be set to settle their dispute over who is the better wrestler at Beachfront Breakdown. It will be the first PPV appearance in APW for both men who were both brought in at the start of the month. These two men will be looking to prove themselves in this match.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Apocalypse vs The Sky Kings</strong></p><p>

Apocalypse, Warmonger and Hatemonger, was the premier tag team in DIW, a hardcore promotion in Australia, before joining APW. They have not reached the dizzying heights of the tag title picture just yet, but a win against The Sky Kings in their APW PPV debut would give them the boost they need to spur themselves up the card. The Sky Kings are in the same boat, having made their name as the premier tag team in ZEN before joining APW. The Sky Kings are the underdogs in this match, being the smaller and physically weaker team.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Quiz Master vs Harry Simonsen</strong></p><p>

Harry Simonsen has a deep hatred for Quiz Master after Quiz Master and Echo attacked him and gave him a concussion. He has yet to get his revenge on Quiz Master as him and Christopher Gerard were unable to get on the same page to beat Quiz Master and Echo. Harry Simonsen will, no doubt, be going all out to get the win but Quiz Master is a formidable opponent. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Christopher Gerard vs Echo</strong></p><p>

Harry Simonsen has been the main focus of Echo and Quiz Master's attacks, but Christopher Gerard has suffered collateral damage from trying to help Harry Simonsen against his assailants. Christopher Gerard is a talented in ring worker who prides himself on knowing hundreds of submission maneuvers. He looks to get revenge on Echo in a grudge match.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Maurice Jackson vs Stan Standish</strong></p><p>

A dream match between two of APW's biggest stars. Undoubtedly a highlight of this event. Maurice Jackson was taken out of action by Stan Standish on APW: Clash in the first week of April after a Package Piledriver gave him a severe concussion. He returned on APW: Clash on the third week of April to challenge Standish. Maurice will be facing Standish in a singles bout for the first time since July of 2014. 9 months after their last one on one match, the two superstars will be facing each other in a bout that could well be the match of the night.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Next Big Things vs Legacy</strong></p><p>

Two teams. Four young, hungry and talented wrestlers that are bound for success in the future. Legacy and The Next Big Things have a lot in common, but are very different indeed. The Next Big Things are the innovative high-flying entertainers cultivated by the creators of the soap opera style of wrestling, Revolution Australian Wrestling. Legacy are the technically gifted brawlers with a strong command over a vast array of submissions and throws, cultivated by the APW developmental territory. Both teams are going into this PPV with everything to gain. The team that picks up the win will get a shot at the APW Tag Team Titles on APW: Clash the next week. This match can make one of these young teams a main event act.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>APW Australian Title Match: SubUrban Legend vs Kerbecs ©</strong></p><p>

SubUrban Legend beat Maurice Jackson on APW: Clash last week and so he will be going into this match with a significant amount of momentum. Kerbecs won the match clean and defended his title for the 17th time against Stan Standish on the same TV taping. He looks to make it defence number 18 tonight. The champion and the challenger have both shown that they can beat high caliber opponents and this clash between the two will be one to keep an eye on. If both men perform to the best of their ability, this match could steal the show. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>APW Commonwealth Title Match: Cole Taylor © vs Nathan McKenzie</strong></p><p>

Cole vs McKenzie. The rivalry between the two has been long and brutal. Both men have strong hatred for one another. Cole feels McKenzie was unappreciative to the help he gave the big man. McKenzie feels Cole looked down on him and saw him as nothing more than a minion. He felt Cole was just using him to help defend his title. McKenzie is bigger, stronger and just as agile as Cole. The challenger is a monster, a freak of nature, a physical specimen. McKenzie destroyed the champion on TV last week and looks to do the same again, this time taking the title in the process. Cole is an intelligent champion who has held the APW Commonwealth Title 4 times and has defended it against the likes of Stan Standish and Maurice Jackson. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>APW Tag Team Title Match: DevilShark vs Dogs Of War</strong></p><p>

Dogs Of War are going into their 5th title defence looking to defeat a long time rival, the four time APW tag champions, DevilShark. The two best tag teams in Australia, going head to head in a match for the ages. With the APW Tag Team Titles are on the line in this match, there is even more at stake. These two teams faced each other on TV a few weeks ago in the lead up to this match but, the teams are sure to outdo themselves on a bigger stage. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>30 Minute Iron Man Match: Alyx Macquarie vs Alexander Banks</strong></p><p>

Alyx Macquarie and Alexander Banks have had a very heated rivalry thus far. The two have been involved in show-stealing bouts that have made them two of the most talked about names in wrestling today. At Beachfront Breakdown, the two will go one on one... in a 30 minute Iron Man match. The ultimate test of skill, stamina and will to win. The two men will look to top the other in the main event of APW's April PPV. This match could be a match of the night, or perhaps match of the year candidate.</p>

<p>APW: Clash Preview</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Damian Dudley and Dustin Lopez vs Angel Of Death and ???</strong></p><p>

Angel Of Death wants a tag match against Damian and Dustin as he believes that's what all the previous matches have effectively been. He claims he has a tag partner but Damian and Dustin call him crazy. Angel Of Death tells them to wait and see. If Angel was indeed spouting nonsense, he has gotten himself into another losing situation.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Apocalypse vs The Rising Suns</strong></p><p>

Since Jimmy Stratosphere and his tag partner, Motty Kuroda were not successful in their challenge for tag team gold, they will have to earn another title shot against the intimidating Apocalypse on APW: Clash. If The Rising Suns beat Apocalypse on Clash, they will be placed in a match to determine the number one contenders for the tag titles currently held by Dogs Of War. Apocalypse will be looking to make up for their loss against The Sky Kings on Beachfront Breakdown last week with a win in this match.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Next Big Things vs The Sky Kings</strong></p><p>

The Sky Kings won their match on Saturday and will be going into this match against The Next Big Things with momentum. However, momentum might not be enough for The Sky Kings as Nicky Gilbert and Rod Sullivan are a very capable unit with a lot of experience teaming together for their age. The Next Big Things are former RAW tag champions and are sure to be fired up by that humbling loss to Legacy.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Echo vs Quiz Master vs Frogue Element vs N.E.X.T.</strong></p><p>

This match will see an old rivals go up against each other for the first time on APW programming. Echo and Frogue Element had a main event rivalry during their time on RAW which was for the RAW Quest title. Frogue and N.E.X.T. also had a match last Saturday in which Frogue lost. Frogue will need to not let those strong emotions cloud his judgement if he is to win in this Fatal 4 Way. We could see glimpses of Echo and Quiz Master working together in this matchup as they showed decent tag team chemistry that got them the win against Harry Simonsen and Christopher Gerard in a tag match on TV a few weeks back. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>APW Tag Team Title Match: Legacy vs Dogs Of War ©</strong></p><p>

Legacy beat The Next Big Things on Saturday to earn this title match against the champions. Ahmed Johnson and Marcus Walker are a part of the first batch of graduates from the APW Academy. If they get the win here, Legacy will have cemented themselves as a part of APW folklore... in their debut year. However, winning the title will definitely be a challenge as Dogs Of War have defended that title valiantly 5 times, against top teams such as The Rising Suns and DevilShark. Dogs Of War could very well be the best tag team in the world at the present moment.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Cole Taylor, Alyx Macquarie and SubUrban Legend vs Stan Standish, Alexander Banks and Nathan McKenzie w. Maurice Jackson on special guest commentary</strong></p><p>

The main event of APW: Clash will be a star studded showdown between two teams. These six athletes are six of the best in the company. Alexander Banks and Alyx Macquarie are the hottest commodities in the world of wrestling at the moment, after their 5* match on Saturday. Banks was attacked by Alyx after that match, prompting Stan Standish to make the save. Standish will be on Banks' team tonight and their fantastic tag team chemistry could spur their team to victory. McKenzie is also on Banks' team. The man-beast suffered a huge loss to Cole at Beachfront Breakdown after he fell victim to the Tailor-Made kick and will want a win to get back on track.</p><p>

Cole and Alyx are on the opposing team. These two, like Banks and Standish, have heaps of prior tag experience which will definitely come into play in a match like this. Their teammate is SubUrban Legend, whose meteoric rise was halted temporarily by Kerbecs, who defended his Australian title for the 18th time at the PPV last Saturday. Being the youngest in the match, he will certainly have the most to prove against the big names of APW.</p>

News Report

Australian Pro Wrestling Have Bought Out The Philadelphia-Based Wrestling Promotion, Phoenix Wrestling Company.

Phoenix Wrestling Company was a wrestling company based in Philadelphia and offers a hardcore product aimed at the 18-30 male demographic. Due to its hardcore nature, the wrestling promotion was unable to sign a TV deal and thus were unable to make enough money to keep themselves afloat. The company was gaining popularity very quickly but made a few unsound financial decisions that led to them losing money and being unable to pay off their debt. It looked bad for the regional-sized wrestling promotion as their debts caused sponsors to boycott the product. The company were about to file for bankruptcy. Fans of the product were outraged that the company was folding.

This was when the Melbourne wrestling company, Australian Pro Wrestling, stepped in. The owner of the Australian wrestling company, a man that goes by Mr Mystery saw how attached fans were to the product and decided to buy out the company. Mr Mystery, who prefers "wrestling to soap operas and over the top hardcore products" has allowed the Philly-based wrestling federation to stay in business, albeit with a less violent product. The owner of Australian Pro Wrestling says that "the current product has no commercial viability" and "it needs that(commercial viability) to go to the next level."

Mr Mystery has also made his intentions for buying out the company clear. He says that he bought out the company to "make a new friend in the West". He has sent veterans, such as Boo Smithson, from his company's own developmental territory to the company in the United States. This will, no doubt, help the growth and expansion of the company that will now go by Phoenix Pro Wrestling.

This marks a new era for the Philadelphia-based promotion. Just like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the company lives on. What will the future hold for this company? Only time will tell.

APW: Clash

APW: Clash. Wednesday, Week 1, May 2015

Welcome to APW: Clash, with me Frank Mucciolo and my commentary partner Dale Young. As always, today's show will be a fantastic one! Another star-studded match fills up our main event spot. SubUrban Legend, Cole Taylor and Alyx Macquarie face the team of Nathan McKenzie, Alexander Banks and Stan Standish! It surely will be a showdown to remember. Legacy will also be getting a shot at the tag team titles on tonight's show, will this be their breakout night? Opening the show, we have a very intriguing match between the team of Damian Dudley and Dustin Lopez against Angel Of Death and a mystery man. Enough talk, it's time to clash!

Who will be the mystery man? It's... Jeremy Alvarez from developmental! Jeremy has made waves in APW's developmental territory, winning the TV title before relinquishing it while on tour on Saturday. Now he's on the main roster!

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Angel Of Death and Jeremy Alvarez defeated Damian Dudley and Dustin Lopez in 7:40 when Jeremy Alvarez defeated Damian Dudley by pinfall with an Olympian Powerbomb.

Rating: B (80)

What a win on his debut! Jeremy Alvarez really stole the show in this match. His pop-up Powerbomb looked devastating!

Damian Dudley and Dustin Lopez attack Jeremy Alvarez and Angel Of Death from behind.

This is uncalled for. You rookies should take the loss like a man.

In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, The Apocalypse defeated The Rising Suns in 10:40 when Hatemonger defeated Motty Kuroda by pinfall with a Doomsday.

Rating: B (81)

The Rising Suns lost! They will not be a part of the number one contenders match next week. What a crushing loss for Jimmy Stratosphere and Motty Kuroda!

In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, The Next Big Things defeated The Sky Kings in 10:57 when Nicky Gilbert defeated Vertigo by pinfall with an Over-Cast.

Rating: B (77)

In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, Quiz Master defeated Frogue Element, N.E.X.T. and Echo in 8:47 when Quiz Master defeated N.E.X.T. by pinfall with The Big Riddle.

Rating: C+ (69)

A win for Quiz Master! That match was effectively a one on one between Quiz and N.E.X.T. though, with Echo and Frogue brawling in the crowd.

Frogue Element and Echo continue to brawl after the match. Venue security pull them apart.

Rating: B (78)

They don't stop brawling! Someone get security out here! There we go. Split them up.

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Dogs Of War defeated Legacy in 16:03 when 'Chaos' Donovan Boon defeated Ahmed Johnson by pinfall with a War Cry. During the match we saw Devilfish distract the referee, and Lone Shark also attack Walker. Dogs Of War make defence number 6 of their APW Tag Team titles.

Rating: B (80)

Dogs Of War defend their title. DevilShark screwed Legacy out of their big moment, with Devilfish dragging the referee out of the ring at a two count. Legacy were robbed!

Legacy try to attack DevilShark but DevilShark escapes.

Rating: B (78)

Dogs Of War give Legacy another title shot next week.

Rating: B (79)

That's what a good champion would do! Kerbecs must be teaching those guys a thing or two about sportsmanship in his little cult.

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Nathan McKenzie and God's Gift defeated SubUrban Legend and Top Dogs in 19:38 when Nathan McKenzie defeated SubUrban Legend by pinfall with a Spear.

Rating: B- (76)

McKenzie dominated that matchup. A solid end to a solid show.

The two teams stare each other down.

Rating: B (79)

I'm getting goosebumps just watching that.

APW: Clash Preview

APW: Clash Preview

Damian Dudley vs Dustin Lopez vs Jeremy Alvarez

Angel Of Death was diagnosed with a blown ear drum and will not be competing on the next APW: Clash. This leaves new kid on the block, Jeremy Alvarez, going into a match that he is destined to lose. With no allies, Jeremy Alvarez will have to overcome the team of Dustin Lopez and Damian Dudley by himself. It seems too much for a man with only one main roster match under his belt.

Echo vs Frogue Element

The two have a simmering hatred for one another that was put on display in their Fatal 4 Way match last week. The two men started to brawl in the crowd during that match which cost them both a potential victory. They will get the chance to settle their dispute in a one on one on APW: Clash this week.

Christopher Gerard vs Harry Simonsen

Christopher Gerard challenged Harry Simonsen to a showcase match on social media. He claims that the two can have a bout that would top the Alyx vs Banks 30 minute Iron Man. The match between the two will be set for this week's TV taping. Can this match live up to Gerard's claims?

Apocalypse vs The Rising Suns vs The Sky Kings

The Rising Suns took to social media to express their disdain for the way APW is ran and demand for their title shot. This match was booked in response to their demand. The Rising Suns will have to face two tag teams in a Triple Threat. The winner of this bout will have to face, and beat the number one contenders for the tag titles, and the tag champions in order to get a title shot at Caged Showdown, making the match a Fatal 4 Way. These two matches against the number one contenders and tag champions will be held on Week 3's and Week 4's APW: Clash.

Match To Decide Number One Contender For Commonwealth title: Maurice Jackson vs Alyx Macquarie vs Alexander Banks vs Nathan McKenzie

The winner of this match will face Cole Taylor at APW: Caged Showdown, in a steel cage. A big match filled with big personalities, from the man-beast Nathan McKenzie, to the 5 Star Match Machines that are Alyx Macquarie and Alexander Banks. Maurice Jackson is also looking for a win in this match

Match To Decide Third Team In Triple Threat For Tag Team titles at PPV: The Next Big Things vs DevilShark

Formidable tag teams are at heads on tonight's co-main event.A crucial match for both teams involved. A shot at the Tag Team titles is on the line. The Next Big Things, the hungry young lions looking to make their mark, against DevilShark, the former tag champs who want to regain their spot at the top of the tag division.

APW Tag Team Title Match: Dogs Of War © vs Legacy

Legacy gets another shot at the tag team belts after they lost in their initial title challenge due to DevilShark's interference. This could be Legacy's time to shine as they almost pinned the champions last week before a disgruntled Devilfish dragged the referee out of the ring at the count of two.

In this match, DevilShark will be banned from ringside. If DevilShark come to ringside despite the ban, they will not be able to challenge for the tag titles for six months. Will Dogs Of War come out of APW: Clash as champions? Or will Legacy win the title and etch themselves into APW's history.

Predictions are welcome. Constructive criticism is also very welcome.

<strong><span style="font-size:18px;">APW: Clash. Wednesday, Week 2, May 2015</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Welcome to APW: Clash! We are two weeks away from APW: Caged Showdown. This episode of APW: Clash will shape how the title matches look for that very PPV. Tonight's main event sees the tag title rematch from last week. The tag champs, Dogs Of War defends their titles against Legacy. This time, DevilShark are banned from ringside so no one will be able to spoil the fun. The tag team that will join Legacy, the number one contenders, and the tag champions, Dogs Of War, will also be decided in a traditional tag team bout. The teams involved will be The Next Big Things and DevilShark. I'm going to put my money on DevilShark to pick up the win due to them having more experience. In the match preceding that, The Rising Suns will face Apocalypse and The Sky Kings in a Triple Threat tag team clash. The winners of the bout will have to face the number one contenders next week, followed by the tag champions the week after, in order to be put into the title match at the PPV. So, a win in that match tonight will not guarantee the winners a title shot. A match that will guarantee a title shot at the PPV, however, is the Fatal 4 Way between Maurice Jackson, Nathan McKenzie, Alyx Macquarie and Alexander Banks. The winner will face Cole Taylor in a match at Caged Showdown in a steel cage, for Cole's Commonwealth title.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<p>APW: Clash Preview</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="font-size:18px;">APW: Clash Preview</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Damian Dudley and Dustin Lopez vs The Sky Kings</strong></p><p>

Damian Dudley and Dustin Lopez ever since Dustin arrived on the main roster. However, they have not faced a proper tag team with tag experience and, on APW: Clash on Wednesday, that is going to change. The Sky Kings lost in a Triple Threat tag match last week to Apocalypse and will want to take win against an inexperienced duo like Damian and Dustin. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Christopher Gerard vs Kerbecs and N.E.X.T. and Quiz Master</strong></p><p>

Christopher Gerard lost to Harry Simonsen before smashing a set of brass knuckles on Simonsen's skull. Harry Simonsen was immediately sent to the hospital after the match and was diagnosed with a severe concussion. Harry Simonsen has had a history of concussions and doctors have stated that another severe concussion could force him to retire. Christopher Gerard's punishment will be 3 on 1 handicap match in which he will face Quiz Master, N.E.X.T. and Kerbecs. In a 3 on 1 handicap, the odds are firmly stacked against Christopher Gerard.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Match To Decide Number One Contender For Australian Title: SubUrban Legend vs Stan Standish</strong></p><p>

Stan Standish was a replacement referee on last week's show during the match to decide the number one contender for the Commonwealth title. Maurice Jackson felt like he was screwed out of the win as Standish pulled Maurice off McKenzie, the eventual winner, when it looked like he was hurt. Maurice Jackson will be on special guest commentary during this match. The wrestlers involved in the Australian title bout will be confirmed after this match between the two top contenders.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Apocalypse vs Legacy</strong></p><p>

Apocalypse won the tag team Triple Threat last week and will face Legacy, the number one contenders for the tag titles on APW: Clash this week. A tough match for Apocalypse as they face the young lions, Marcus Walker and Ahmed Johnson, who have already made wave in the tag division six months after their call up. If Apocalypse wins this match, they will face Dogs Of War next week in a match with a title shot on the line. Legacy will be looking for the win to stop another team from being in the title match as it would only make their chances of winning slimmer. However, if Legacy do lose, it is not all bad for them as it means that the champions would be weakened by the dangerous Apocalypse before their clash at Caged Showdown.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Alyx Macquarie and Alexander Banks vs DevilShark</strong></p><p>

Once again, the two rivals will be forced to team up to defeat another tag team. It seems like the plan of the powers that be is to force the two bitter rivals to become a tag team. If it does work, the team of Alyx and Banks will be a force to be reckoned with and will undoubtedly be future tag team champions. Only time will tell if the tag team will work out. The two rivals will be coming up against the former tag champs, DevilShark. DevilShark, unlike Alyx and Banks, are sure to work together as they have been tag partners for a long time and have proven themselves in the tag division. </p><p> </p><p>

<em>Predictions are welcome. Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.</em></p>

APW: Clash Preview

APW: Clash Preview

The Sky Kings vs DevilShark

Both teams lost on the last episode of APW: Clash and will want a win to regain their lost momentum. The Sky Kings' record in 2015 is 8 wins and 14 losses. A pretty rough year for a tag team looking to establish themselves in their new company. DevilShark have had an even worse year, with a record of 5 wins and 16 losses. The former tag champs are completely out of the title picture and will have to win in this match to work their way up the ranks of the tag division again.

Quiz Master vs N.E.X.T.

These two cost each other and Kerbecs a win against Christopher Gerard last week. Their petty squabble over who should get a tag turned into an all out brawl outside the ring after the match. The two will be able to vent their frustrations out on each other in this match.

Stan Standish vs Kerbecs

Kerbecs is facing SubUrban Legend in a steel cage on Saturday at Caged Showdown in a title defence. Stan Standish lost the match against SubUrban Legend last week and, as a result, lost his shot at rematch with Kerbecs for the Australian title. Kerbecs will face Stan Standish in a non-title bout in preparation for his 19th title defence.

New Bloods vs Legacy vs The Next Big Things

Legacy, the team of Ahmed Johnson and Marcus Walker, are the current number one contenders for the APW Tag Team titles. They will be facing Dogs Of War and The Next Big Things for the tag titles in Triple Threat tag team elimination match. Apocalypse could also be added into that title bout if they win against the champions tonight, making the match a Fatal 4 Way. The two tag title contenders will face the white hot tag team of Damian Dudley and Dustin Lopez, the New Bloods, in a Triple Threat tag match in the lead up to their title bout on Saturday.

Dogs Of War vs Apocalypse

This main event match could the catalyst for Apocalypse's rise to glory, if the team of Warmonger and Hatemonger can pick up a win against the tag champs. A win here would mean the 3 time DIW tag champions will join Legacy, The Next Big Things and the tag champions, Dogs Of War in a tag team elimination match for the APW tag titles. Apocalypse have gone under the radar since their debut, picking up 12 wins and only 11 losses. The tag champs, on the other hand, have largely dominated at the top of the tag division with authority, with a record of 14 wins and only 6 losses.

Predictions are welcome. Constructive criticism is also appreciated.

Danger And Violence Extreme Is Back In Business

Danger And Violence Extreme (DAVE) Is Back In Business

Originally formed in 1992, it wasn't until six years later when DAVE won the infamous "East Coast War" that they began to really start making a name for themselves. Under the guidance of booking genius Phil Vibert, DAVE became a genuine cult phenomenon, and were undisputedly the number three promotion in America.

Their success, however, proved to be their own undoing; from 2004 onward the promotion was virtually under siege from talent raids from bigger promotions, which combined with an injury crisis and mounting financial problems led to the promotion closing down in April of 2007.

The company reopened in May of 2015 after a takeover by Elijah Lee, a multi-millionaire movie director. Elijah Lee has pumped millions into the company in an effort to return it to its former glory. He has also brought back Phil Vibert as the head booker of the promotion. The company will now go by the name Danger And Violent Entertainment.

DAVE's reopening was met with excitement from fans in the East Coast, who were left without a major wrestling promotion in their area after the original DAVE went defunct.

Who Is Elijah Lee?

Elijah Lee is a multi-millionaire movie director born in New York. He is a lifelong wrestling fan and grew up watching Danger And Violence Extreme. When the company went defunct in 2007, he was working on a new film in Perth. He returned to New York in 2015 and bought out all of Danger And Violence Extreme's company assets and brought Phil Vilbert back to the promotion as head booker. Now, he looks to rebuild the fallen giant of the wrestling industry under the new alias of Danger And Violence Entertainment.

APW: Caged Showdown Preview

APW: Caged Showdown Preview

DevilShark vs The Sky Kings

These two had a bout on APW: Clash on Wednesday in which The Sky Kings picked up the win. DevilShark need the win in this match, which will open the show, as they have not picked up a win in their last 5 matches. As former tag champions, that statistic is appalling. If their last match was anything to go by, this bout will be an exciting encounter to set the tone for the rest of the event.

Quiz Master vs N.E.X.T.

Quiz Master lost to N.E.X.T. by disqualification on Wednesday's TV taping. He ruthlessly beat his opponent down after the match with steel chairs and even punted his head for good measure. N.E.X.T. has been cleared to compete by medical staff, but there is no way he is at 100 percent. Quiz Master will look to capitalize on that fact and pick up the win. It is difficult to imagine otherwise, with N.E.X.T taking such a bad beating on Wednesday.

Frogue Element vs Echo

Frogue Element and Echo have a long history with one another dating back to their time feuding for a title on RAW. They faced each other earlier in the week on APW: Clash in the opening bout in a short match that did not live to the expectations placed on both men. Echo put up a bad performance and did not look a 100 percent on Wednesday, being beaten easily by way of Fro' Splash. He will want to redeem himself after that poor performance by beating his rival on a PPV.

Christopher Gerard vs Harry Simonsen

Christopher Gerard and Harry Simonsen had a showcase bout two weeks ago in which Harry Simonsen came out victorious. The showcase match, however, was just a setup by Gerard, who used a set of brass knuckles on Harry Simonsen skull after the bout, a move that put the skilled in-ring veteran on the shelf for two weeks. Simonsen makes his return at the Caged Showdown PPV on Saturday after being cleared by doctors and other medical professionals. He will, most likely, still be suffering the ill-effects of the severe concussion and will have a tough time against Gerard.

Apocalypse vs The Rising Suns

The Rising Suns supposedly quit APW after a crushing loss to Apocalypse in a Triple Threat match that also included The Sky Kings. The Apocalypse went on to beat Legacy and earn a match against the tag champions with a title shot on the line. The Rising Suns cost Apocalypse the match and their shot at the title. Apocalypse want revenge and will be able to get it in this steel cage match.

New Blood vs Jeremy Alvarez and Angel Of Death

The New Blood were involved in a match with Legacy and The Next Big Things, in which they shockingly aligned with Legacy and gave them the win by working with them to eliminate The Next Big Things before eliminating themselves by count out. The New Blood are one of the hottest acts in the company after they aligned with the number one contenders for the tag belt and will be heading into their match on Saturday with a lot of momentum and hype. The match in question will see them do battle against Jeremy Alvarez and the returning Angel Of Death in a steel cage.

Stan Standish vs Maurice Jackson

Stan Standish and Maurice Jackson are two of the biggest stars in the company. After both superstars lost their matches to become number one contenders for the Australian and Commonwealth titles respectively, they had no plans for Caged Showdown. Wednesday's APW: Clash saw Standish challenge Maurice to a match in the gigantic steel structure, a challenge Maurice accepted. Standish took a loss in their first encounter after Maurice hit his signature DDT. He will look to avenge that loss on Saturday in a match of the night candidate.

APW Australian Title Match: Kerbecs vs SubUrban Legend

Kerbecs looks to make it successful defence number 19 of his title as he faces SubUrban Legend in a steel cage. The two locked horns at last month's PPV, APW: Beachfront Breakdown, an encounter that saw Kerbecs retain his title. It seems that no one can take that title away from the fan-favourite cult leader who has held the coveted APW Australian title since October of last year. Many have tried, all have failed. Will SubUrban Legend be the man to break the streak of successful title defences?

APW Commonwealth Title Match: Cole Taylor vs Nathan McKenzie

Nathan McKenzie has beaten the champion before but has not been successful in his previous two title challenges. He will have to watch out for the Tailor-Made kick, which has been his Achilles heel in his losses to Cole Taylor, if he wants to pick up a win and the Commonwealth title against the champion in a steel cage.

APW Tag Team Title Match: Dogs Of War vs Legacy vs Rod Sullivan and ???

Nicky Gilbert has been ruled out of this match due to a muscle strain. Rod Sullivan has been told to find another tag partner on short notice in order to compete in this title bout. If Rod doesn't find a partner, he will be removed from the match and lose his title shot. Rod is optimistic, however, claiming that he has already reached out to a few old friends. Legacy are the number one contenders and go into this match with a pinfall, albeit a tainted one upon having aligned themselves with the New Blood, over The Next Big Things. They have set their eyes on that title and will want to finally win it on their third attempt. Dogs Of War are also going into their 8th defence of the tag belts with a win, beating Apocalypse after a Rising Suns interference.

Alyx Macquarie vs Alexander Banks

The marquee match up. The main event sees two heated rivals who are no strangers to one another step into a steel cage to do battle. These two wrestlers have become the talk of the wrestling industry after their previous two one on one bouts, which earned them both the nickname 5 Star Match Machine. This is the third match in their epic rivalry which is sure to be the talking point of the entire wrestling fanbase.

Predictions are welcome. A prediction contest will start at this PPV and will run all the way through to September's PPV. The winner of this contest will be able to choose a worker to push towards any title.

<p>APW: Clash Preview</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="font-size:18px;">APW: Clash Preview</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jeremy Alvarez vs Angel Of Death</strong></p><p>

Jeremy Alvarez betrayed Angel Of Death to align himself with the white hot young prospects and fellow APW Academy graduates, The New Blood. Jeremy Alvarez joined The New Blood in a vicious post match beat down of Angel Of Death. Angel Of Death will be looking to get revenge, but Jeremy Alvarez is, undoubtedly, the superior athlete, as he has an amateur wrestling and mixed martial arts background.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Frogue Element and Rod Sullivan vs The New Blood</strong></p><p>

Rod Sullivan was unable to make it to the ring on Saturday for his title bout due to a backstage altercation with The New Blood. He was thus, stripped of his title opportunity. Although it is unclear whether he found a partner last Saturday, after an injury ruled Nicky Gilbert out of the bout, he has found a partner for Wednesday's match against The New Blood. His partner is Frogue Element, a man whom Sullivan has worked with during their time together on RAW. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Rising Suns vs Apocalypse</strong></p><p>

The Apocalypse are furious that Jimmy Stratosphere and Motty Kuroda won last Saturday, as a result of a low blow. The Rising Suns fled the scene before Apocalypse could get their hands on them, prompting Apocalypse to vent frustration out on the innocent referee. On Wednesday, the two teams will have a rematch.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>APW Australian Title Match: Kerbecs vs SubUrban Legend</strong></p><p>

SubUrban Legend was oh-so-close to winning the APW Australian championship on Saturday. The referee counted to 2.9 before Kerbecs kicked out of his 450 splash maneuver. He eventually lost the match after Kerbecs locked in the Gates Of Hades, his signature crossface submission. SubUrban Legend impressed in that match and earned a rematch on Wednesday. he gets another shot at breaking Kerbecs' streak of successful title defences. If Kerbecs wins on Wednesday, his will have made 20 successful title defences. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Cole Taylor and Christopher Gerard vs Nathan McKenzie</strong></p><p>

Nathan McKenzie beat Cole Taylor for the APW Commonwealth title at Caged Showdown and will face Cole again on Wednesday. The only difference is, Cole has a tag team partner, in the form of the ruthless Christopher Gerard. Gerard brutalized Harry Simonsen a few weeks back, so much so that Simonsen collapsed on the way to the ring on Saturday. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>DevilShark vs Legacy</strong></p><p>

DevilShark got a win on Saturday to get their careers right back on track. On APW: Clash, they will be facing the newly crowned APW Tag Team champions. DevilShark will be making a big statement if they beat the tag champs on Wednesday. DevilShark have the most reigns of APW Tag Team belt of any team in the company and are not to be overlooked, despite a slow start to 2015. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Match To Decide Number One Contenders For APW Tag Team Titles: Dogs Of War vs Alyx Macquarie and Alexander Banks</strong></p><p>

The main event of APW: Clash will decide the number one contender for the APW Tag Team belts. Dogs Of War, 'Chaos' Donovan Boon and 'Corrupt' Rusty Mills, are the former tag champions who lost their belts at Caged Showdown. The two long-time tag partners have great teamwork and in ring prowess. However, this bout will be far from a walk in the park. Their opponents are the 5* Match Machines, Alyx Macquarie and Alexander Banks. They are the hottest commodities in wrestling today, due to their trilogy of classic bouts against one another. After their third bout on the Caged Showdown PPV, in a steel cage, they were applauded by fans in attendance as they helped each other to the back. The two have worked together in the past, most notably defeating DevilShark, when they were embroiled in their rivalry. Now that it seems the hatred for each other has gone and the two are on the same page, they could very well become the tag team champions in the future. Their road to the tag titles will start with this match, against the longest reigning tag champs.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>Predictions are welcome. A prediction contest will start at this PPV and will run all the way through to September's PPV. The winner of this contest will be able to choose a worker to push towards any title.</em></strong></p>

New Alliance Formed By Australian Pro Wrestling

Australian Pro Wrestling, the cult-sized wrestling promotion based in Melbourne has set up a new alliance. This alliance looks to shake up the wrestling world. The members of this alliance include wrestling promotions from all around the world. The members of this new alliance, dubbed Australian Pro Wrestling Alliance based off the founding member, are:

5 Star Supreme Wrestling

5 Star Supreme Wrestling are the most successful women's wrestling company in history, having dominated the joshi scene in Japan since the early 1990s when they put every other promotion out of business.

Based in Japan, the Regional sized women's wrestling promotion will be influential in helping APW and other alliance members set up a strong women's division. 5 Star Supreme Wrestling will look to use this alliance to gain popularity in other parts of the world and help women's wrestling rise to prominence.

Australian Pro Wrestling

James J McMinister, head of a large mining firm in Melbourne, saw the unexploited Australian pro wrestling market, and in February 2007 he officially founded Australian Pro Wrestling, the first major promotion the continent had ever had. He handed ownership to an enigmatic business man, who goes by Mr Mystery, in the summer of 2014. The company has only grown bigger in the time since, becoming a cult sized promotion.

The founders of this alliance, the wrestling promotion from down under are growing at an astonishing rate and forming this alliance will only see them growing bigger. They are currently the most popular wrestling promotion in Australia. However, unlike their Western Australian counterpart, Revolution Australian Wrestling, the Eastern Australian promotion has yet to gain much traction outside of their home region. With the help of the other promotions in this alliance, they will look to continue their growth internationally.

Canadian Golden Combat

Canadian Golden Combat are the DeColt family's promotion, and one of the big two home-grown Canadian promotions. The promotion revolves around the DeColt family, who are virtually national heroes, and their battles with various heel factions who come to fight against them. It is a simple formula, but a successful one nonetheless.

The Canadian company, with the DeColt family at the helm, are a cult-sized promotion. North Of The Border Pro Wrestling are the top wrestling company in Canada, with CGC as a close second. This alliance will help them gain popularity overseas and grow in size. CGC are the home of many top talents and that talent pool will be beneficial to the others in the alliance.

Danger And Violence Entertainment

Originally formed in 1992, it wasn't until six years later when DAVE won the infamous "East Coast War" that they began to really start making a name for themselves. Under the guidance of booking genius Phil Vibert, DAVE became a genuine cult phenomenon, and were undisputedly the number three promotion in America. After going out of business in 2007, they reopened in May of 2015 after a takeover by Elijah Lee, a multi-millionaire movie director. Elijah Lee has pumped millions into the company in an effort to return it to its former glory.

The East Coast wrestling promotion with a cult following reopened a month ago and has held one event since. The event was underwhelming due to the lack of talent on the roster. Under this alliance umbrella, DAVE will be able to bring in talented wrestlers from the other promotions to boost the quality of their shows. They will bring popularity and hype to the table, being one of the biggest wrestling promotions in the world during the 90s and 2000s. With another East Coast promotion, Phoenix Pro Wrestling, in the same alliance, we will see two East Coast promotions working together. This could be the rise to prominence for East Coast wrestling.

Phoenix Pro Wrestling

Phoenix Wrestling Company comes out of Philly, and offers a Hardcore product aimed squarely at the 18-30 male demographic, just like their predecessors like XFW and RPW. After a takeover by Australian Pro Wrestling in May of 2015, the company now goes by Phoenix Pro Wrestling and will look to grow bigger in the years to come.

Phoenix Pro Wrestling was intended to be the spiritual predecessor of DAVE when the promotion was formed. After their takeover by APW, they started to tone down the violence in their product, allowing the company to make profits. The promotion continues to grow and will only stand to benefit from this alliance deal. With DAVE also a member in this alliance, it will provide for an interesting dynamic as we will see two East Coast promotion in a positive relationship with each other.

United States Pro Wrestling

Since its formation in 2001, United States Pro Wrestling has been one of America's fastest rising promotions, offering its fans a family-friendly product that is heavily based in 1980s wrestling nostalgia and unabashed patriotism. They are the first company to seriously threaten the SWF-TCW domination of American wrestling.

The biggest, and most popular, company in this alliance is irrefutably USPW. They are currently the third biggest promotion in the world, behind the big two of SWF and TCW. USPW have the least to gain from this alliance, being the most established name with the most popular talent. They presumably joined this alliance to help out the smaller companies and make them think twice about waging war with them and hurting their growth.
