what should I do- prediction contest thoughts

Hey guys, so I have a lot of failed dynasty attempts on here, mostly thanks to me always changing my mind about what to do, but I have also lost a few attempts that I thought were going to stick, thanks to computer issues. Fast forward to now, I am almost 4 weeks into a WWE Evolution dynasty (using the mod which breaks WWE down into separate promotions for RAW, Smackdown, NXT, etc), and I've always had a few people predict randomly in my diaries. For the first time I've decided to do a prediction contest.

 

With my WWE Evolution diary, I have had 2 people predict (1 has predicted all the shows, and 1 has predicted all but the last show). Neither have predicted for the show I'm going to be running later today. I'm wondering if that could just be because WWE Evolution (All WWE womens' division) just isn't that popular of a read, or if it could be I've had so many failed dynasty attempts that a big group doesn't read or follow or predict in my dynasties anymore. I see plenty of other dynasties have prediction contests with much success. So where should I go from here? Even in my SMW dynasty, which I know people enjoyed before a storm wiped it from my computer, I only had 1 person predicting, but a couple more commenting.

 

I could either keep going, get a long ways into this WWE Evolution dynasty, and hope I pick up more followers. Or I could scrap yet another dynasty and do something more marketable (WCW 1997 as there isn't really a dynasty for it, or ECW 1997, or maybe keep using the mod I'm using and try NXT, or NXT UK, or RAW or Smackdown.) What option do you think would get the most predicters, now that I'm really ready to do a serious prediction constest.

 

Or should I just forget a prediction contest and just write a dynasty? What will get me the best results? Maybe too many failed dynasties have just turned people off from my work, or maybe a text based dynasty (even though I've tried to incorporate a little more story writing), just isn't cutting it. Thoughts?

I'd say the most important thing is not to worry about how many sees your dynasty, or participates in the prediction contest. If what you do is good viewers will come with time! <p>It’s difficult to know what to suggest but the main thing with any dynasty is that it’s something you enjoy writing. A lot of people on this forum will read something & enjoy it more if it’s clear you’re having a bit of fun.</p><p> </p><p>

Do you tend to act on the predictions that you have been given in your past dynasties? Or just ask for them for general amusement?</p>
